Strong drinks, good views, and there is a bar on every floor. This spot has a lot of upside (like what I did there?), and the potential to become the new East Austin hotspot. The bartenders are friendly and there are multiple unique cocktail options. The Lawn Flamingo and Sunset City are interesting. 5 stars for executing at a high level after being open for only a week!

My wife and I came by for drinks and appetizers on a lazy Sunday afternoon. We had some great palomas, as well as some truffle fries, brussel sprouts, and shishito peppers. Our server (from Pittsburgh) was awesome! This place is very pretty inside and we really enjoyed coming in out of the heat to cool off during happy hour here. I've been to another location for Second Bar and Kitchen and this location was better all the way around, even if the menu was similar. We'll be back.

Someone put good thought into the design of the space, but it lacks presentable bartending at rooftop bar. While the bartenders get it done, it could be done more respectfully with better manners and appearance. Also, I would check the patio tables for bird poop before opening to customers.

Loved my margarita but it was pretty pricey. Didn't get food here. Highly recommend going to the roof top to enjoy a good view :)

Good location on Sixth St. Was cool and breezy the evening we stopped by. Haven’t stayed at the hotel yet. Staff was friendly and; according to the ladies, the drinks were good. Nice atmosphere. You could hear the commotion at the pool downstairs but it wasn’t too loud at all. The bar area itself had music going but at a tasteful level so conversation was pleasant. All in all a very good place. Will definitely try the hotel and restaurant next time.

I loved this place. The pool is nice, the staff is really friendly, the room had that good A/C (which was great because it was in the 100s during the day and in the 90s and high 80s at night during my stay) and their food prices are good compared to other food spots on 6th St. Right on 6th St so there's easy access to restaurants, bars, and clubs. Would definitely come here again! Also would like to shout out Carter at the front desk. His customer service is on point and he made a great first impression.

Loved the cocktails. Rum Old Fashioned is the best, it's the only way how I'd drink old fashioned since now. The decorations on Jungle Birds were amazing. Only thing - it smells weird inside :( But if you're sitting outside it absolutely okay. And they have blankets if you're cold. No heaters though

Drinks were very tasty, great atmosphere, but the bartenders were swamped constantly so it was tough trying to order anything. Likely just a case of being open for less than a month. Great new spot!
