The Rooftop Bar

I went to rooftop bar on a Friday where the line was outside. I was waiting in like when a gentleman came up to my friends and family and asked for our ids. He didn’t show any credentials besides flashing a flashlight in our face so I assumed he was messing with us. He then brought his manager over and kicked us out of line cause I thought he was messing with us. When we understood he worked there we apologized and tried to explain our side which led to him and another bouncer pushing one of my friends and telling us to leave. Congrats on your power trip, we will not be returning with our party of 12 spenders

Nothing here is bad. It’s all fine. I think this place has more magic at night and is a pretty cool hang when it’s busy. Our drinks were fine but a somewhat sad version of a margarita for almost $14. But I’m a middle aged mom of two who goes to bed at 8 so take that i to consideration when reading this. Mostly I’m mad there was no salt on the rim and that they used premixed margaritas then gave them a fancy name. The food on the table next to ours looked amazing. I know others that love it here. I say check it out and see what you think.

Nice view of the surrounding area. Lots of pergolas if you want to be in the shade. Drink menu is simple but good. Nice atmosphere. Staff are good. Someone came around right away to make sure the table was wiped clean. Went around 6pm on a Saturday when it was around 80 degrees. Would stop by again if I was in the area.

Great views? Nope. Great drinks? If you like pre-mixed. If the goal is to be on a rooftop then five stars all around. I’m sure it’s better at night. Can’t comment on the food because I didn’t eat it but from what I saw at other’s tables it’s certainly not a value for between $15-20 per item.

Love the vibes of this place, the food is absolutely incredible & the service is amazing. 10/10 would recommend, they have parking in the lot, super good drinks & cabanas to sit under.

What an adorable spot! I was so impressed with Kate the ONLY server. I watched her calmly wait on what seemed like a hundred people file into the place. She didn’t miss a beat and smiled the entire time. I visit Minneapolis every 6 months or so and always find service to be good but in this case, it was exceptional! This is a must stop, good food, fun drink selection, and AMAZING servive. Shout out to the bartender too. I didn’t meet her but she helped keep it all together!

It was hot, crowded, and had no table service. I emailed them about reserving a table and never got a response. You have to go down to the basement to order food. You have to go up to the bar to order drinks. The bathroom was super gross.

Oh heck Yea!!! This is the 2nd best roof top bar behind Hewing Hotel's rooftop!! It's happenin'!!! NORTH LOOP BABY!!! The bartenda gal loaded me up with some love me some good tequila!! Service TOP NOTCH. This is the rooftop at NOLO's. Has cabanas next to the railings & covered tables for shade in the middle.

I added the same exact information to the NOLA restaurant yelp but thought I add it here too. I got super lucky and was able to experience this place before it got so crowded that there was no seats. Just a quick elevator ride you are able to see such gorgeous views of the area. There is a nice variety of drinks and food to eat. Ultimately it is such an amazing vibe. It is a great spot to wind down after a day of work, great place to catch up with some friends, and maybe even use it as a way to enjoy before you go out for the night. Ben from out of town I definitely see myself wanting to come back to the spot again if I'm ever visiting.
