We had an absolutely wonderful experience at The Rooftop Bar in Oceanside! From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming, with a stunning ocean view that made the evening even more special. The food was not only beautifully presented but also delicious — every bite felt fresh, flavorful, and crafted with care. But what truly set this place apart was the incredible service. The staff here is attentive, professional, and genuinely cares about their guests. We especially want to express our deepest gratitude to Margo and Rob. These two went above and beyond to make sure our evening was perfect. After a long and exhausting event earlier in the day, they welcomed us with warmth and kindness, helped us settle in comfortably, and ensured that we had everything we needed to enjoy our meal. Their thoughtfulness and professionalism turned a simple dinner into an unforgettable experience. It’s rare to find a place where the combination of excellent food, breathtaking views, and outstanding hospitality all come together so seamlessly. Thanks to Margo and Rob, our evening at The Rooftop Bar was nothing short of amazing. We will definitely be coming back and recommending this place to all our friends ❤️💫

Google
The Rooftop Bar is our first night out with anyone visiting us in Oceanside. They immediately understand why we’ve chosen to live in North County San Diego. The drinks are creative and tasty (and pricey). The limited menu is good to great - our favorites are the cheeseboard, vadouvan chicken sando, and the lamb sausage. Grilled shrimp, grilled artichokes, and spiced potato chips (patatas) are also yummy. If you want a good view, make reservations. Depending on time of year, you might need a min of 6 people to book. You have to provide a credit card to hold, which might be charged $35/person if you no-show or cancel with less than 48 hrs notice. It’s an amazing way to spend 2 hours with friends and/or and see a stunning sunset!

Google
Loved it here!! Came with two girlfriends of mine and we arrived just after 6pm on a Wednesday and got seated right away with a great view of the pier. It was a beautiful evening. We enjoyed drinks and plates like the moonlight and Seaside and the Cheese Monger. Would highly recommend this place as a nice date night with a partner or with some friends. Maybe no more than groups of 6. Our server was attentive and friendly and gave us great recommendations. This place was great and I can’t wait to come back!

Google
Our friends took us to this restaurant for the beautiful view of Oceanside Beach and pier. We sat in the pool area at the furthest corner table. It had the best view but it was a bit noisy. It's beautifully decorated and very picturesque. I would say this place is better suited for groups of 4 or less. We were a group of 6 and options were limited. The food was on the pricey side because portions were quite small. More like tapas than actually plates. Food was hit or miss. We did like the cocktails and those were delicious.

Google
The drinks were good. The atmosphere is nice. If you are thinking you are going to get a drink and sit and look at the ocean. Negative. When you go straight to the bar. The bar seating is only at top deck. All the seats with the view is the reserved seats for the restaurant on the deck below. When you are sitting at top deck. There are no views. Great breeze but no direct view. The little green glass area that's closest to the water is the pool area for the hotel guests. If you are a local. You still can visit the restaurant and bar. This is a nice place for a one stop shop. Mark it off your list. If you want a more friendly relaxed bar. Go to finneys. In Oceanside there is no that many places that's almost at the water. The bar tender didnt really have a personality. He looked annoyed when he had to repeat himself. The staff infront at the restaurant are friendly though! If you are staying in the hotel. It's definitely worth going to the top and enjoying the better guest access area.

Google
This is a wonderful place to enjoy the sunset while spending time with friends and family and have tasty drinks and snacks. The only issue I had was high price to portion ratio. The menu has only small plates to offer, but even the smallest plates seems to be large for the food. I had Mushrooms seen in the image which I took before I dig in😁, the portion is less than half of the plate😄, otherwise it is a great place with lovely staff.

Google
Excellent cocktails and hors d’oeuvres! The view was spectacular and our server was great! The rooftop bar was also pet friendly. I will definitely be back!

Harrison B.

Google
Loved the view and bartenders were very nice and hospitable. Drinks were even better and loved the bourbon based cocktails that they had. Would definitely spend an entire evening or afternoon there. View of the Oceanside pier and beach front. Great for sunsets too.

Yelp
I came here on a whim to watch the sunset with a friend during a day trip to oceanside (we drove two hours away). I'm not sure if it was the way we looked or if the server was having an off day, but I felt that our server was rude. He was very short with us, I didn't feel like he even paid attention to us nearly as much as his other tables. Everyone else was pretty attentive. Unfortunately because we had dinner plans elsewhere, we didn't try the food; just drinks. The drinks were very yummy! Not too strong, and I think the straw was biodegradable because it wasn't plasticky, so browny points for that. As beautiful as the view was from the window seats, I think the best view is for the guests of the hotel at the pool. I still really enjoyed the view of the pier.
google avatar

Omar A.

Yelp
The view is the best, and most impressive at sunset. The cocktails were good, and food was average ... but let's be real, we are going for the view. The service was very good and the staff was friendly. Go early and get a nice seat... order a glass and enjoy the view. You will love it

Yelp
The Addams Family Themed Halloween party was SO MUCH FUN! Tickets were really decently priced and included a drink from the themed menu. Staff looked and were awesome! They were all dressed as the Addams Family members, and the drinks were made well, festively packaged (the O Negative!) and delicious! But they did need more bar staff this night, they were overwhelmed and the lines were long but we didn't mind it too much, it's Halloween and there were a lot of people... and a DJ who kept us distracted with great music the whole time! Drinks: Pugsley's Punch (Bacardi Rum, lime juice, Pineapple juice, Ube simple syrup, Tiki Bitters) was my favorite. Ube is one of my all-time favorite flavors and not only was this drink a dark, almost black color, it was garnished with an eyeball candy on a stick.. Aww! Cousin B"Itt"ers (Tequila, lime juice, blue curacao, spicy bitters, soda water, red sugar rim, blood red lime) was also delicious, lighter and the red sugar rim looked cool bleeding down my cup in front of the fire. The Rooftop has a large restaurant area, a bar indoor but with an open wall, there is an outdoor fire pit and an attached area maybe half the size is where a pool with lounges and additional tables with chairs sits looking directly over the shore. This is a really pretty spot, very clean, dimly lit/romantic kinda vibe and modernly but simply decorated. Great job on the Halloween Party Rooftop Bar!

Yelp
Came here once for yelp elite event and had to come back. The views are amazing! You get the ocean, the pier and the top gun house. The drink I got was similar to a pina colada, it was a little weak on the alcohol part but pretty good. I also really liked the grilled artichoke, very healthy and delicious at the same time, is a win! The chicken sandwich we got was ok, decent but nothing notable. I enjoyed the service as well, there was only one guy when I was there at 4pm on a Tuesday but he was the host and the server, such a happy guy!
google avatar

Heather W.

Yelp
Beautiful spot, to enjoy a drink on the sunny rooftop! Servers are kind, and views are gorgeous! Tasty drinks as well, got the Grandview rum drink, and it's a great time!
google avatar

Morgan W.

Yelp
OMG LOVE THIS PLACE! Paul at the bar makes the best drinks. Made me a specialty which is now my new fav drink a slightly spicy passion fruit margarita!! Recommend getting the whipped feta and butter and bread. You can't go wrong. Such a gorgeous view and vibe will definitely be coming back when in town!

Yelp
I've visited The Rooftop Bar at the Mission Pacific Hotel many times. The vibe of this place is so different than most places in Oceanside and I think that's why they do so well. The bar is elevated 7 floors overlooking the beach. We visited for my friends birthday and with our reservation, we asked for a table by the edge. When we arrived they accommodated us to a great table right next to the glass. We started off with a few cocktails which are as good as they always are. The cocktails here taste amazing and you can tell the mixologist took the necessary time to create them. The Stonesteps is my favorite cocktail. For food we ordered Oysters, Whipped Feta Dip, Carrot Hummus, and the Grilled Artichokes. The birthday girl loves oysters and the mixture of the cucumber mignonette and hot sauce is perfecto. Fresh and not too large as I like them. The Whipped Feta Dip is served with pita and an assortment of vegetables. This dip is damn good and I'm not usually a feta guy. The Carrot Hummus was a little underwhelming in flavor, but the idea is there. I wouldn't personally order it again. The Grilled Artichokes are so damn good. They aren't the usually artichokes we eat in America, but the Italian version. You can eat the whole thing with the stem and when you mix it with the aioli it is tasty. Highly recommend if you like artichokes. They ended us with a round of birthday shots for the birthday girl. They were some sorta coconut papaya tequila shots which were damn tasty. If you come here on a weekend, they have a DJ playing and it makes it all spin together. The ambiance, food, and drinks are on point. My review is a 9/10.

Yelp
Last night I hosted an event here for my MeetUp Fun Diego Ladies group. We attended the Soirée Blanche gala, which was an all-white party in celebration of Labor Day and the end of summer. There was live music and a DJ on the rooftop of the Mission Pacific Beach Resort. We ordered drinks and appetizers and had a wonderful time. The sunset view was spectacular! Service was a bit slow due to the large crowd, but we enjoyed each other's company while we waited for our food and drinks. We also visited the Photo Booth quite a number of times!

Yelp
I can make this short. Should have been five stars. Drinks fantastic. Service was outstanding. Atmos was superb. Okay so why not five stars? The menus are out of date so when we went to order most of the drinks we wanted were not available. How is this even possible? Just an annoyance, but shows bad process on the office to let that happen. The music, while great, was so loud we were yelling at each other and it was hard to just talk with our friends. So dialing it back even slightly would have been good. It's a nice place and they sure know how to make some killer drinks.
google avatar

Yelp
The whole experience was great. I had their seasonal cocktail - "Merry & (something)" it was delicious! If you like bourbon and citrus, try it! I had 4 ! The whipped feta and mushroom skewers were exceptional. The veggies with the whipped feta were crisp and fresh.

Yelp
The Rooftop Bar has stunning views - hands down. Clean restrooms. Comfortable seating. Friendly staff. What they do not offer is a menu with anything remotely appealing on it. Fancy finger foods and overpriced bites are all you will find. Not offering basic share plates and food that appeals to the masses is a big mistake. We like to take friends and family from out of town to places like this with stunning views. But the Rooftop Bar is off my list because not one person liked anything on the menu. We'd rather go to Tower 39 in Carlsbad and get a pannini or flatbread. The rooftop bar at Tower 39 is more casual more affordable, and more broadly appealing to the common man. It's a shame that such an easy fix would deter return visitors.
google avatar

Troy T.

Yelp
Had a few cocktails here now. It is generally a nice mood up here. Haven't tried the food yet, but what I have seen served looks good. The bar is spacious, tables seem to be filled when the weather is nice. Servers and bartenders are professional, this is a nice establishment on top of the hotel. If you stay at the hotel, there's a hot tub and pool in a key fobbed area with a great view of the pier and sunsets.
google avatar

Raied S.

Yelp
Awesome location! One of the best views in Oceanside. The rooftop has a great view of the ocean and their happy hour was a decent price. The staff was friendly, and it wasn't packed, granted we were there on a Thursday. But wow what a nice place to chill and have a quality cocktail.
google avatar

Zuri C.

Yelp
This is my first time leaving a review and that's how upset I am. I had a really disappointing experience at this bar. While the food and beverages were decent, the experience was ruined witnessing a customer loudly berating one of the employees. It was uncomfortable to watch, and the behavior was completely unwarranted. What made it even worse was that the customer was allowed to stay and continue their outburst without any intervention from management. The employee remained professional throughout, but the whole situation created a tense and unpleasant atmosphere. I understand that stress can happen, but allowing this kind of treatment to happen to staff is unacceptable. I hope the management takes steps to ensure their employees are treated with respect moving forward.

Yelp
This cute swanky rooftop bar never disappoints- from the sweet beats playing in the background to the sunsets and cocktails- it's a must! Come early for the parking spots and seats- and stay till the sunsets
google avatar

Yelp
Amazing postcard views of Oceanside Pier from here. Cocktails were excellent. This place uses ingredients rarely heard of for their drinks and combine them extremely well. We tried their seasonal martini and 'we the people' cocktails which were both amazing. They were out of sea bass so tuna tartare with taro chips was a good substitute, along with exceptional octopus dish and whipped feta spread.
google avatar

Dianna S.

Yelp
This is a great spot to relax with a gorgeous view. It can get crowded. Drinks are very expensive to be expected since it's above the Mission Pacific Resort.
google avatar

Jana N.

Yelp
Great rooftop bar/lounge with amazing ocean and pier views atop the Mission Pacific hotel. I especially like that there is a separate elevator that is clearly marked. The rooftop space itself is rather large with a seating area at the front (along with a fireplace), nice bar area and the pool deck for guests. We were seated quickly and was impressed by the unobstructed view of the ocean, beach & pier. While I was rather hungry when I came, I was a little disappointed that it was small bites but upon asking the wait staff, they recommended the chicken Sando. I ordered I and was very pleased that I ordered it - basically a full entree meal that was crispy on the outside yet soft on the inside focaccia bread and flavorful chicken and micro greens. The homemade chips were also pretty tasty. I would say that this is a great place to meet friends or take a date for a few cocktails and lite bites. Everything was great although I suspected that our server would have rather been surfing than working. Highly recommend and hopefully next time I can catch the sunset here.

Presleen E.

Yelp
A family date with my cousin and she took us to the Rooftop Bar with it's beautiful view of the beach and pier. Staff was very welcoming we were seated at the poolside which we had the best views ordered all the spreads and the pork wild wings everything was so delicious we loved the multi colored carrots different in taste. 2 thumbs up must stop on in
google avatar

Maggie B.

Yelp
If I could give this place a zero stars I would. It's embarrassing, as an Oceanside local, how unbelievably rude, snotty and unfriendly the staff is at this tourist trap. That isn't our vibe around here! It is an attractive place to bring visitors so I have on numerous occasions and literally every time they aren't full and won't let us sit near the glass for the view. Maybe it's because we aren't pretentious assholes and we have kids? Who knows, but I know I will continue to steer clear and will NEVER bring another guest up there. Also, drinks are over priced and food sucks. I don't know how this hotel got named by Condé Nast.
google avatar

Meghan W.

Yelp
The Rooftop Bar is located on the 6th floor of the Mission Pacific Hotel. We are staying 3 nights at this hotel. At check in the receptionist recommended the bar as the best view for sunsets. She was not wrong! It was pretty busy on a Saturday. There's a security guard standing at the exit ramp to make sure you go through the check in desk. The man that checked us in was so cheerful and very friendly. He loves his job. The wait by the window was 30 minutes. The bar has overflow seating by the window at the guests only pool. We ended up sitting by the perfect spot by the window at the pool. Surprisingly, for a mostly adult hotel there were a few kids in the tiny pool. Our server, Craig, was relatively new to this place but he did a great job. He actually stayed after he was off to take pictures of the sunset. I got the non- alcoholic athletic brewing upside down golden ale. It was served in a plastic pilsner cup. It was perfect. It tasted like beer. It had the taste of hops without the alcohol. I was very happy with it. The price was $7 which for a hotel drink, I thought was very reasonable. We stayed for about 2 hours until the sunset. We didn't feel like they were chasing us out. We actually sat across from a nice couple from Los Angeles. We ended having a fun time chatting with them.
google avatar

Aaron W.

Yelp
If you want to have a romantic time seeing the sun set, then this is a great place to hang out for a couple hours. Just get here about an hour before sunset and you can usually fund a good place to sit if you don't mind one near the pool. The service is great and it is from casual to dressy. Didn't actually try the food. But the sunset was amazing
google avatar

Stephanie B.

Yelp
Great rooftop bar with delicious drinks and great views! They've remodeled since the last time we were here and it looks awesome. All the tables have umbrellas so no worries if it's super sunny out. The staff was warm and welcoming as well.
google avatar

Katie D.

Yelp
Can't beat the beautiful views and vibe here!! The drinks and appetizers are delicious. We got mojitos and chips and salsa. The actual food is over priced but good. The service is great and sit back and watch the ocean sunset!
google avatar

Jazel Q.

Yelp
This spot is absolutely stunning! Hidden gem off the coast! I bring all of my out of towners here and it's always a hit! This past time was the first time I was here on a Saturday and there was a bomb DJ that was playing hit after hit. Me and my friends were blown away! Drinks are expensive but yummy and strong. I will say, I have been here about 4/5 times now and service is always a bit slower but I'll give them a pass since the place is a fun vibe overall. I'll definitely be back soon!

Skyler S.

Yelp
We had the best experience during sunset on a Saturday! One of the managers Margot was incredibly kind from the moment we walked up. She gave us a lovely spot for the sunset and was very thoughtful and follow up to make sure we were having the best time. Our server Jennifer went above and beyond for us! Including offering a blanket and double checking with the kitchen for specific menu items. She was engaged and kind! We can't say enough about how lovely of an experience we have had. We got espresso martinis, mushrooms, and grilled artichoke and it was 10/10! If you want good food, endless laughs, and to be treated like royalty - come to the Rooftop Bar and ask for Margot and Jennifer!

Aarti T.

Yelp
Beautiful ambience, great service and food! Had an incredible time with our large group of 9.
google avatar

Thuy C.

Yelp
One of the best rooftop... in San Diego... actually, probably the best in the US! The view is incredible , the ambiance, the decoration... the service. Everything is top notch! Love this spot and come here often
google avatar

Sean H.

Yelp
The view is amazing, it's right in front of the pier. Even if you can't get a table there's open seating at the bar and many chairs around a giant gas fire pit, which ended up being nicer than the actual reserved seats with service. Overall the service was abysmal; with just a sense of disgust and irritation in just about everyone working there. Not sure what's up. Food- CHEESE PLATE was yummy with lots of cheese and a few bread slices. TIGER PRAWNS were served with the whole head intact but easily removable and had a great smokey sauce. Cocktails are around $15-17 but we're served in a plastic cup, lol.
google avatar

Lisa M.

Yelp
Stopped up here for a quick appetizer and drink while watching the sunset. Atmosphere is fabulous! Music was perfect vibe. Views are spectacular. Friendly helpful staff as well. The Aperol Spritz was a bit flat - needed more bubbly and fizz. Other cocktails were great and so were the apps. Stop up here for some great vibes and views!
google avatar

Kat P.

Yelp
One of the best spots in Oceanside to grab a cocktail with a beautiful view. Extensive drink menu and a full bar. Drinks are very picturesque worthy and the food all looked good but we only tried a few things. Everything we tried was good minus the whipped feta (just meh) People watching is the best scene in the local area. It's right in front of the rooftop pool which on a sunny day is poppin. They had a DJ playing some poolside like tunes with chill vibes. It was packed so I'd suggest a reservation if you can get one. We stay for hours every time we go just to see the view. Sunset is epic here!
google avatar

Angela B.

Yelp
We randomly came across this place as we wanted to get pies at Moonpie next door. The view from the top was phenomenal and overlooks the pier. There's shaded umbrelllas and high glass walls to keep most other wind out. A few areas have fireplaces and the seating areas are inviting and very comfortable. We ordered some drinks and a couple of appetizers to spend some time there and enjoy the view. The food was pretty decent so we had a nice time relaxing and eating while taking in the views
google avatar

Steph H.

Yelp
STEPH JUDGEMENT: Upscale but unsnooty joint with great views and food. Eight of us came here for a Saturday afternoon hang, and at first there were no tables available, so we were just going to sit at the inside bar, but then a patio table big enough for our group miraculously opened up so we were able to upgrade. Good thing, too, as being able to take in the view is a big part of why you even go to a rooftop bar, imo. We ordered a variety of cocktails (I can't remember what I had but it was good) and the hubby and I ordered the oyster mushroom skewers and the grilled artichoke hearts to nosh on. Those mushroom skewers, man--I'd say they rival those at Bavel in DTLA, so scrumptious! The service was pretty good, considering how busy it was. We whiled away a most pleasant afternoon here; would definitely love to come back.
google avatar

Cat N.

Yelp
Right when I walked in, I felt the WHOLE vibe. This bar overlooks the Oceanside Pier and the food was amazing but the service was top tier. Ruth deserves a recognition for great service. Fast, friendly and patient. I loved everything about this restaurant. The view, the service, and the food! Can't wait to go back.
google avatar

Juliette F.

Yelp
Came here for drinks with friends and it was mediocre. The line to get a drink took forever. We ordered four drinks and the total was $100. Wasn't super impressed with the drinks especially for the price. The view was great though so that was a win.
google avatar

Megan H.

Yelp
We've been back a few times since my last review. The food and drinks are good, but I still find the whole place overpriced. Service has been great each time. Ambiance is a little chaotic, but it is a hotel. There is only one small spot to see the sunset directly if you aren't a hotel guest (guests are allowed into the pool area, which has a great view). It would be nice if non-guests were allowed into the area to watch the sunset, especially on weeknights and in winter when the pool and hotel are largely empty.
google avatar

Casey C.

Yelp
The perfect Sunday afternoon relaxation! The sun was really warm in the afternoon, so the staff was so kind and offered to let us into the pool area where we found a perfect corner table with shade and a breeze. I got the Seaside cocktail which was strong but good. My friend got the sea dragon, a non alcoholic cocktail, and we were surprised at the abundance of options! Fair warning is that they do add a 6% surcharge which I didn't notice on the menu prior (I didn't look very closely, but it was also not noticeable). For that reason, I am giving 4 stars out of 5 - I just would really prefer this charge to be added to the cost of the drink directly instead of finding out later in the bill. You do pay for the experience and the view, but they are stunning.
google avatar

Lizette ..

Yelp
Enjoyed a few cocktails and appetizers mid day. Service was excellent! Food was delicious, tried the bread and butter, tiger prawns, and octopus. The octopus was my favorite. Excellent view of the beach. Would return and recommend.
google avatar

Michelle O.

Yelp
My friends and I went out drinking on a Friday night. We came to this bar right after our dinner. This was my first time here and we absolutely loved it! The atmosphere the vibe. The music. It was a nice place to just drink and relax and talk. This bar is really nice but expensive! Our bill was over $400! So definitely not a place to stay and drink. It's more of a place to have appetizers and a drink or two to start off your night. We tried a couple of their drinks. A coconut cocktail, a guava and a spicy margarita drink. All were good. But just expensive. I would definitely come back here around sunset time. This bar has a beautiful view of the ocean. I would recommend this bar to people.
google avatar

Cela G.

Yelp
This rooftop is the best place to have some drinks with a great view. The drinks were delicious and were about 2-4 dollars off with their happy hour. Most drink will run you about 15 bucks. Didn't try any of their food but they also had happy hour specials which I believe start at 3. They have a parking lot across the street and metered parking as well which was 1.50 for an hour. It was raining the day I went and there was a break so decided to go have which drink. They do have umbrellas and heaters and our waitress also offered us a blanket. Our waitress was really nice and very attentive. Will come back during the summer.
google avatar

Nikole G.

Yelp
Ambiance was superb! Food was just okay. Beautiful views of the ocean, cool DJ set. Great place to go on a date, or if your in town and want an Eagle eyes view of the Oceanside beach.... We even saw dolphins, which was super cool. While I wouldn't suggest going for the food, the vibe and views were on point.
google avatar

Yelp
The Rooftop Bar, Oceanside, CA - November 21, 2023 We came here with our son and his husband during happy hour. The rooftop bar sits atop the Mission Pacific Beach Resort. They have outdoor patio seating with umbrellas that cover couches, chairs, and low top tables. They have a clear glass partition at the edge of the patio, which allows you to look out to the ocean while not being impacted by the stiff ocean breeze that can sometimes kick up. Happy hour was from 3 to 5 PM. I ordered the buccaneer whiskey, drink that came with amaretto. It was very tasty for only $12. The other three people in our group got wine and beer. The service was good. We also ordered a hummus dish that came with pita bread and vegetables. That dish needed more pita bread. We had to order another small plate for five dollars. This was a really fun hang out. They also have an indoor open air bar.

Kim Kubo C.

Yelp
Food was creative and delicious! Gorgeous spot and cute ambiance Tasty drinks although I had a virgin mojito (Delicious) my girlfriend's all had different handmade cocktails, all very good! I loved the whipped feta, carrot hummus & baba ganoush appetizer platter... will be back

Olga B.

Yelp
Ordered the whipped feta spread and they must not wash their veggies because there was a worm in the broccoli. Would have complained but service was terrible anyways. Also, for "patatas" they served a plate of chips.
google avatar

Louie H.

Yelp
Amazing food, especially octopus dish is to die for; million dollars views and live music. I dream to live here. Wait actually I do:) lucky me
google avatar

Troy K.

Yelp
This place is tough to score. The ambiance and location alone give it 3 stars. We happened to arrive at happy hour, and the beer/wine prices were awesome! However, that is where it ends. We were sat at a nice table with spectacular ocean view. They say this is a beer bar, but only one IPA on tap (a not so tasty hazy) and very limited selection of others. My mom said the house wine was delicious (my mom is a wine SNOB) and it was only $8. I haven't paid $8 for a good glass of wine in SD County in YEARS. My friend ordered a specialty drink that she really enjoyed. Service was just ok. It was super cold for San Diego but no heaters were lit. The Baba Ganoush was just ok. We didn't have time for much more, which was good, cuz it would have been a long wait. I will definitely come back on a warmer day. And hope they get a decent ipa.
google avatar

Linda M.

Yelp
Fun atmosphere but definitely wear your sunscreen. You are on the rooftop and although there is shade, as the sun moves you can be fully exposed. Drinks are a little pricey but you are paying for the view of the sand and beach. They staff is amazing and are always checking on you to make sure everything is going well.

Yelp
If you have all day to spare then come check this place out, the service is veryyyyyy slow; but the views, food and drinks are incredible! Reservations are highly recommended otherwise you will have to wait, but the bar is open seating. The view is stunning and so is the restaurant, it's a very beautiful peaceful vibe. The drinks are all really good and taste unique, I don't think you'll be disappointed on any cocktail you order. The food is great! The smashed potatoes were so delicious and had a creamy sauce that was incredible to dip the potatoes in. The short rib was also fantastic with a slight char on the outside. Food and drinks are a perfect 10. I love this place, I just only wish the service was faster. Still highly recommend checking out this place, for the view alone.

Yelp
Came here while I was visiting in Oceanside. I didn't realize you had to make a reservation, so I ended up at the bar. But it was still super nice there. I just had an ice tea and two of the ceviches. It was definitely pricey, but it's a hotel bar with a view, what do you expect? The ceviche was really light. Definitely a snack. But very flavorful. Bartender was super nice. I can't remember his name, but he made conversation and even suggested some places to check out. There is also an area where you first come in where there's an unobstructed view where you can take some beautiful photos and just take in the view. But if you stand there too long, you may become the designated picture-taker, lol. Overall, a pleasant experience.
