The Room Bar and Lounge

The atmosphere of this gay bar is excellent! I have enjoyed both my trips now. With ample space, good drinks, and great entertainment, you're sure to always find someone who's fun to chat with. I haven't encountered a single customer here who's obnoxious or problematic, and the crowd has a good mix of all ages. The drag show nights are definitely top tier, and I'd encourage you make one of them if you go. Other reviewers have had mixed opinions on the indoor smoking. As a non-smoker, it absolutely bothers me and I do leave with the smell of smoke clinging to me. However, it's not nearly so bad as to be unbearable or problematic. I think everyone should give this bar a try, and it's always okay if it's not for you.

There is smoking allowed, but the few people that were partaking absolutely did not make the whole place smell. Bartender was great as well as the atmosphere. Check out the drag show 10 pm Wednesdays!

Hudson is the best bar tender here. He cares about you and really makes you feel welcomed even on a bad night. Come here and have a great time! It’s worth it. Also (; they have Kareoke nights and drag show nights where you can win free shots. Come on

Amazing decorations! My sister's seltzer came with a koozie!! I asked for my drink with lime and I got 3! I will definitely come back.

We didn’t even make it through the front door with the smoke hitting us right in the face horrible experience had a friend visiting from out of town. Want to do a local scene and that’s what we get offered. I would recommend you run this establishment as fast as you don’t even try to drive.

I usually come here about twice a month. Tonight was my first night to come to the drag show. I would like to say I enjoyed it but I can't. For some reason the host felt the need to put a microphone in my face and grill me about my sexuality asking whether I was gay or bi. A person's sexual preference/Identity is there own business, not the whole bars. It was uncalled for and I wont be back anytime soon. Especially on Wednesdays.

I just moved to the North Houston area and really wanted to like this place but unfortunately as long as they allow smoking inside there’s no way I can come here. As soon as I entered, I was hit with a wave of smoke that immediately irritated by nose and throat and activated my allergies. It’s 2024, please get with the times.
