Took my son and his GF to an all ages Metal show. They absolutely loved it. Had a great time and saw 3 great bands

If you had ever been to Some Where Else Tavern in Greensboro...this place is those vibes. So awesome! I suggest trying the pink Starburst as a mixed drink instead of a shot. It is so good and not too sweet!

It was our first time at The Rooster and we had an awesome time. Cool atmosphere and great live music. The bartenders were very attentive and the drinks were reasonably priced. We'll be back!

This was a great experience. The stage is huge for a venue this size. You could accommodate a large band easily. The lights and sound are great. They have good seating. The bar is stocked and they've got your favorites from Cavendish Brewery. Plus they a shot called an Applesauce Shot - don't knock it until it's knocked you. We went to see The Graveyard Boulevard and had a really good time. I'd like to see some of my favorite local Charlotte bands come over and play. Would be nice to drive less than 35 minutes for once!

I really like the vibe here. My grandson has performed here 2 times and I saw him both times. This is a great place to see local talent and just chill.

Can’t say enough good things about The Rooster. Went there for the first time to see Sam Burchfield and had a blast. From the minute we walked in, the staff was friendly and welcoming, place was clean, neat and had a super cool vibe. Ate from the food truck, Milltown Meats & BBQ, which was delicious. Not a bad seat in the place. So glad Gastonia has a nice place to go hear live music! I’ll definitely be back. Thanks to WSGE for the tickets! I’m so glad I got to experience Sam Burchfield live. The caliber of his talent is incredible.

I took my wife up there to see Tangerine Trees. First time at the venue. Was a clean place with a very nice staff. Will keep my eye out for acts that play there and will be back.

Yelp
Returning on Sunday 6/8 after my first visit 12/24. It was Singer/Songwriter evening and I was mainly there to see Todd E. It's not a terrible drive from Fort Mill, SC, about 45 minute on a Sunday afternoon. I was able to park right in front of the Venue and my ticket was waiting at will call. A smooth and easy check-in and I was able to talk to Todd before the show. I've seen him several times when he collaborates with other musicians but this was the first time solo. He played a mix of originals and covers. After several songs others joined him for several songs. They were all great on a Dave Mason original, Feelin Alright. Many know the song from the Joe Cocker cover. The band was great, Todd with some great guitar licks and a lead riff, the bass player was laying the line, the drummer on time and the keyboard player, Bazz The GranDude, with a nice mini-solo. Very impressed with the lady on the mixing board. She was out front on her iPad and got the vocal & instrument mix solid. It was a fun time and I hope to return before the summers done.

Yelp
Just a cool bar with dance floor and stage. Have live music most days of the week. If you like any flavor of rock music this is the pace to go

Yelp
SO....Here we are coming toward another year end, and the Rooster is going strong! The new offerings have the community excited to get out there and do things! Bar crawls, festivals, shows, and even Music Trivia Nights! The sense of family at the Rooster cannot be overlooked, from the owner Michael Carpenter, through everyone else working there, and the clientele a truly magical thing has happened; a support system for new artists, or new to the area artists, especially on Wednesday night's Open Mic Night! I have seen some shy people come in and ask questions of more than one person, they get the same answer " Hey this is a very supportive crowd, don't be afraid, we got you." I do not know any other place like this, and our band has played in 3 different states. I want to express my gratitude for giving the community back it's music! Thank you everyone for making The Rooster a home for musicians!

Yelp
Exceptional!!! If you're looking for a venue with great live music then don't look past The Rooster. My wife and I attended our first show and we were not disappointed. The owner and staff go the extra mile to make sure everyone from guests to the bands are all taken care of. I'm usually very picky about live music venues but be confident in The Rooster!! They check the box in every way possible! A true A+++ business.

Yelp
New music venue in downtown Gastonia. Plenty of parking on street or behind building. Very good selection of local and national beers, and Mike provided great service as the bartender. They had a nice stage and sound system for bands to play on. The venue was well kept and the bathrooms were very clean. It can be very loud there, so bring ear plugs if you are sensitive to sound. I heard they also have them on site but didn't ask. Looking forward to attending more shows at The Rooster!

Yelp
The owner, Michael, is absolutely amazing and is always welcoming us in like family. We drive 45 mins here multiple times a week because of the great atmosphere, music and welcoming staff! The bartender, Madison, is super sweet and the drinks are always great! Prices are amazing for bar prices and you never know what music you will see! We will be here every chance we get!
