Where to Stay in Nashville (Updated 2025)

"Housed in an early 20th-century all-brick church, The Russell is a colorful boutique where each room has different decor, the beds are nice, I love the attention to detail, and they donate a portion of their proceeds to homeless shelters." - Matthew Kepnes

A fantastic and unique lunch spot in KC. Stopped here on the way to the airport for a quick lunch and was really impressed. The atmosphere is warm and full of character, and the food was excellent. The menu is strong, fairly priced and everything we tried tasted fresh and well prepared. The employees were kind, welcoming and attentive, which made the experience even better. I’d definitely stop here again — a very good and unique spot for lunch if you’re in town.

The Russell was the perfect choice for our plated dinner our small wedding. The tasting blew us away, and everything went so smoothly on the wedding day. Dinner was delicious, the desserts were amazing, and they were so accommodating with special requests, like doing individual charcuterie cups served in teacups. We’re still talking about how wonderful everything was! (Photos by Delaney Hady)

Amante Domingo has added another large group of fans to the growing list. My kids and I hosted a Memorial service for my late wife Mary Kay here yesterday. Guests from across the country; he and his professional staff prepared and presented an impressive array of appetizers topped off with a memorable pastry selection. The giant screen TV and HDMI hookup provided a beautiful background to scroll our digital photos. Thank you sir, you and your people made a difficult situation much easier.

Coworkers picked it for our holiday outing. I looked at menu online and I was impressed in the 1/2 lb brisket burger and that is what I got. Seems the esthetic is old barn as a deli kind of experience. You sit wherever and order at counter. Iced tea water and a cucumber jalapeño lemonade are self serve. My table has tea and lemonade. The lemonade wasn't bad. Choices are salad bowls, soups sandwiches and some entrees. I stuck with the brisket burger. I was immediately disappointed in the small size of the burger on the plate and exceedingly disappointed by the tiny bag of over the counter chips. I really don't understand the decision to not have french fries with the other menu options they have. Then having bagged chips was a shock to what I assumed the esthetic of the restaurant is based on appearance and menu it felt they are going for a hipster farm to table fresh regional food vibe. The burger was pleasant tasting but when I get a burger I want to taste the beef, and the greens, sauce and cheese on the burger overpowers the taste of the burger patty or the meat was poorly seasoned. The eating experience was less than optimal as the burger was served looking more akin to a back yard experience of a patty that is more ball like than flat leaving a good 1/4 inch of bun without burger touching it all the way around. This makes for a unbalanced mess. They didn't do a 5 guys of so much sauce on a burger it becomes a sloppy mess but they are pretty close to it that with lackluster bagged chips really ruined my experience. For me for the place seems very hipster pretentious but attempting to look homey. The fact I got a $18 1/2 lb burger and left disappointed and hungry means I will not return.

Google
They are THE BEST caterers we could've hired! I hosted a 40 person rehearsal dinner at their restaurant, and my brother had them cater his wedding reception the next evening. We were both so impressed by the responsiveness, creativity, quality of the food, price point, and the service provided over many months of working with them. Natasha, the catering coordinator, helped me create a Chinese-themed dinner menu largely from scratch when I couldn't find a caterer who could do that. Everyone at the dinner and reception were delighted with the delicious food. Highlights included a perfectly executed fried rice, a creamy mushroom risotto, and the steak and chimichurri sliders. The team even decorated the restaurant for us using our decor and family memorabilia. I was a bit skeptical about this because I had a particular vision, but they executed perfectly, probably better than I could've done myself. And they do beautiful displays that look like cascades of food on a harvest table. Anyone planning a big event should seriously consider the Russell as caterer. The owner and event staff are kind and can-do people. They will work with you every step of the way, and come through for you in all the ways that matter.

Google
The Russel has always been our favorite Lunch spot! Today the restaurant was closing early for an event when my wife and I showed up. We drive from 30 mins away just to have lunch here (it is that amazing!) and they were so kind to accommodate. i usually get the steak sandwich which is the best i have ever had. Today I also got the spicy chicken sandwich and it is hands down the best chicken sandwich i have ever had. Could not recommend enough!

Google
Disclaimer: I typically do not enjoy New-Age American pretentious sort of places. I had that expectation walking in here. I WAS REALLY WRONG. Very eclectically and well decorated with a very unique concept and menu.. this place was great. The food was so light but complex. So many different flavors with every bite... It may be the best lunch I've had in KC (minus Gates, but that's a totally different thing but also ironically next door) I'll let the pictures do the talking. This is a real gem.

Google
I absolutely love this place! Amazing food, friendly staff, cozy atmosphere. The Russell bowl is fantastic. My only complaint is their hours. Please please please!!!!! Stay open later on a couple days like you used to be. Would love to have dinner there.

Yelp
Ya know what? I'm upping this review to a five. The decor is still a lot for me, and every once in a while I think it can be pricey, but damn. The salads here get me every time. When I say that, what I mean is that I legitimately think about their food and when I can go back and eat another salad. When do you crave a salad? It's the only salad I've ever eaten where I dream of when I can return to enjoy it again and if that doesn't deserve top marks then what does? The bottom line is that The Russell has been around now for a while and it has EARNED it's spot as a top lunch destination in KC. I'll continue to go here when I can, and I'll always recommend it for folks visiting.

Yelp
Late review: Recently, I heard a lot about this restaurant on Main Street. I ended up checking out this place for lunch with one of my friend. First impression entering this restaurant, it looked like an old school one with real wooden tables (vintage vibes ngl). This place filled up real quick in no time. You have to order your food and pay first, they'll bring your food to your table. I ordered a steak chimi sandwich for me which came with chips. Steak chimi (Grilled tenderloin, gorgonzola aioli, arugula, chimichurri on grilled baguette) was sooo delicious especially the steak was tender and it just hit the spot with chimichurri sauce. Looking forward to check out other things sometime soon!

Yelp
If you're into rustic, Wild West vibes and oldschool decor that brings on a wave of nostalgia, this is definitely the place to check out!!! My husband and I went in for our anniversary lunch, and it absolutely lived up to the occasion. Located within the American Insurance building near downtown, this spot is a bit of a hidden gem serving freshly grilled meat/fish and burgers dishes. We ordered the half chicken, which was grilled perfectly. It was juicy, tender, and flavorful especially with the fresh chimichurri sauce on it. The tortillas on the side felt like an afterthought, but the dish overall was a solid 9/10 from me. My husband went with the Russell burger with wheat beer, which was meaty and satisfying. The patty was cooked just right, and the fresh arugula gave it a nice peppery taste. He also got a bowl of the beef and vegetable soup, which was warm and really comforting. The restaurant was pretty quiet when we visited, so the service was quick and smooth. The staff was friendly, attentive, and happy to answer our questions. Overall, we had a great experience. The food was high quality, and the atmosphere made us feel special!! Parking Tip - there's plenty of parking behind the building, which is a big plus if you're planning to visit on a weekend.

Yelp
Unique and exciting cuisine. A quaint eatery in middle of town. The service is excellent, with some fabulous wood fired entrees. And wait until you see the desserts! Hard to pick which one you will enjoy!

Yelp
Best hamburger I've ever eaten!!! Think about it until I find myself in there. The pastry is absolutely delightful!! They are fast and kind

Yelp
I love the rustic energy in here. Staff was super courteous and hospitable. Food was on point. You can't ask for more when you come here. We got the Russell salad - has chopped brisket, arugula, goddess dressing, olives, onion, tomato, and a piece of rosemary on top for the aromatics. Great touch. We literally devoured the entire bowl and didn't leave anything. Staff recommended the voodoo chips and we appreciated this amazing recommendation. It honestly complimented the salad extremely well. They have a whole bunch of soups, salad sandwiches that when we looked at the tables, we were like "we gotta try that next!" We got glass of Chardonnay, which was actually smooth and strong. Exactly what you want from a white wine. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for fresh ingredients, great service, and a good time. Thanks, back to corporate work The Russell!

Yelp
I thought the food was pretty good, I'd definitely try other items but I didn't get the option to order fried or grilled chicken and the cashier wasn't very friendly or patient. They were very busy so I understand they wanted us to get our order in but this was my first time and I wish they had been a bit more accommodating. I still enjoyed the ambiance with the rustic and antique decor, plus the salad was very tasty!

Yelp
This review is for late lunch for two on a weekday in mid April. service: The hospitality was uniformly outstanding. Everyone was enthusiastic, helpful, and professional. The team made the visit fun and interesting. bar: Handful of well thought out beer and wine choices. I drank Boulevard Space Camper (can, $6.25 as of April 2025). food: My wife's three tacos were spectacular ($16). We suspect that's brisket in there from their smoker? The meat was just that great. My Chicken Bibb (salad, with grilled bird, $17) was also amazing. That's avocado, bacon, cashews, and shaved parm in there! details: As all Yelpers report, the space is warm, welcoming, and wonky. Great music, without being distracting. Some street parking and more parking 'round back. Don't miss the bakery options, which are simply stunning.

Yelp
Food: Tasty, seasoned and well balanced. I ordered the salmon salad bowl and also a slice of carrot cake. I loved the presentation but be careful when eating bc the bowl almost flipped over lol. Service: Kind, quick and helpful. This is an order at the register, sit down and they will bring your food type of restaurant. Staff were kind and cleaned up very fast. Ambiance : High end, rustic, chic. Very instagram-able and cute for pictures. Cute for a first date or girls lunch. The bathroom especially was super cute. I would love to come back.

Yelp
This is a quaint restaurant just minutes from Crown Ctr, Westport and The Plaza. The decor is fresh and reminiscent at the same time with period pieces strewn throughout the decor. The staff is friendly and helpful providing menu guidance. We went for lunch and enjoyed the ambiance and food. My only issue was my salmon was slightly dry, however my daughter had the salmon BLT and said it was perfection.

Yelp
I loved the atmosphere! Really cool place! I will be returning for my lunch breaks without a doubt! The Russel Burger was decent yet I felt like I consumed an entire weeks worth of sodium! So I felt terrible after the burger. I'm sure others are fine with eating like that so it's probably just me. I really want to try their ribeye and they do have vegan cookies at times which they mentioned that they post on their website their bakery options for the week!! I didn't know that so be sure to check their website to see updates on their bakery options! If you're looking to establish a good eating experience with someone I'd highly recommend The Russel. I myself would use this as a choice for a quick date or just some time to make the situation feel special..for that special person. (I will be updating review/rating with further visits and tastings)

Yelp
Food, the service and the ambience were all amazing. This place has such a cool vibe. I will definitely be back.

Yelp
Stellar lunch spot! The inside is rustic and cozy with plenty of seating available inside and a handful of tables outside as well. Order out the counter and get a vintage license plate to let staff know where to bring your order. The salmon bowl was amazing - all fresh ingredients and the salmon was cooked perfectly. They have a great dessert selection as well - I resisted this time, but can't wait to come back and try a few!

Yelp
Would definitely recommend this place! First thing I noticed when walking in was how GOOD it smelled, a good precursor for our food. My sister got the Roasted Root salad and I got the Russel burger. Both were 10/10. And loved that they didn't have a boring side salad. Definitely worth a repeat visit to try some more of the menu!

Yelp
Cute little spot located in between the Crossroads and Plaza area. Perfect for lunch dates, meetings, solo dining- you name it. Honestly it was hard choosing just one item from the menu because it all looked and sounded so good. We ended up choosing the crispy chicken cobb salad and the chicken sandwich. Both excellent. Chicken was crunchy and salad was perfectly dressed with all the different textures you would want in a good salad. The chicken sandwich was so juicy and moist, smeared with delicious aioli. For dessert we couldn't pass up the oatmeal pie, aka "whoopie pie". All the food was excellent! 5/5 stars. Perfect for that "I'm feeling a salad/sandwich kind of meal", but in an elevated way.

Yelp
This is one of my fave spots in the city. I popped in with a friend from out of town for a late lunch. It's always on point- the service, ambiance and food. This restaurant uses local ingredients so the menu changes often. One of the things I really like about this place is that you have lots of healthy options. And you can get an adult beverage with your meal. Gluten free and vegetarian options available. If you have a sweet tooth, you must save room for dessert. The item I'm crushing on now is the mushroom toast. OMG - it's incredible. The types of mushrooms change depending on the season but they are so meaty, tender and flavorful. And the truffle cheese takes it up another notch. My friend didn't like ricotta but she loved the toast. I could eat it every day. I'd go back everyday just for the mushroom toast. They also offer Sammy's, salads, full entrees (rack of lamb & ribeye), soups and a kids menu. Tip: it can get pretty busy during the lunch hour. And they do not take reservations.

Yelp
My wife and I stopped here for the first time. It has a rustic and clean decor. The staff were very pleasant. The food was great and fast to the table. We enjoyed the bowl.

Alex P.

Yelp
The beet salad, which came with sweet potatoes was very good. I asked for cheese on the side. Good high-quality and they make accommodations. The decor was also very special and different. They give you license plates instead of numbers.
google avatar

Maggie C.

Yelp
Love this place. Farm to table concept, with rustic decor. They a selection of bakery items as well. A small menu, but it seems like they've perfected each thing. You order at the register and find your seat, they'll bring your meal over. Got the salmon bowl, which came this amazing, thick cut of salmon over a bed of hearty greens, veggies and quinoa. It was filling, flavorful, and so fresh. Will definitely be back.

Yelp
Words cannot do this place justice. My co-worker and I travel 1-3 times a week and I have been to several countries and nearly every state & major city in the USA. This burger changed my life. This is the single greatest burger ever. It dethroned the mac & cheese burger I had in Korea in 2017. My co-worker said his brisket sandwich is the best he's ever had as well. The staff are incredibly welcoming and friendly. The ambience is casual and just a good time. If you find yourself local. COME HERE AND TRY THE RUSSELL BURGER!!!
google avatar

Alicia W.

Yelp
Decided to dine here for an early lunch date with the girls, due to the selection of food on their menu. Lots of healthy options such as salads, grilled half chicken, and their quinoa bowls. We didn't want anything that would be heavy although they do serve burgers and sandwiches. I was completely thrown off on how the establishment works. (In a good way) For starters you seat yourself and when your ready to order you walk up to the cashier and place your order and pay for your food all in one. That method was perfect due to us not having to split the check up, everyone covered their own tab. The set up inside the restaurant was so unique, very old time Wild West feel. I will definitely be back to try other things on the menu.
google avatar

Sandy D.

Yelp
We got lunch to go for three. The salads are delicious- we added salmon - made it a meal. Very filling - actually had 2 meals each! Highly recommend!

John S.

Yelp
Staff were super friendly; however, food was underwhelming. Chicken was really dry and under seasoned, wife's salad had some unidentifiable piece of meat in it and she didn't order any meat. Was really excited to try but probably wouldn't go back, and, again, not because of the staff who were excellent.
google avatar

Neeca B.

Yelp
This is a 180 from what it use to be. Charming, rustic, and in the evening it can even be intimate. Which is my favorite time of day to go, it just hits different. I forget I'm across the street from a car dealerships and Costco. Oversized leather chairs, reclaimed wood, brick and wood as it's an older building ,pillows, gold light that just hugs everything gently. I can't get over the day to night difference. One thing that did not change is the menu. Which is consistently delicious. Above average pricing that I pay for lunch but average for dinner. Staff are wonderful, I like the walk up order pay and it arrives timely. Small parking lot in the front, but I'm not sure if the parking behind them is for them or another business. Street parking as well. So tasty and worth a visit.
google avatar

Scott M.

Yelp
Top five favorite places to eat in Kansas City. Every detail from the front counter to the bathrooms was thought out and fits their vibe. Food is cooked on an open fire which is very unique. All breads are baked in house. The staff is beyond nice and the table markers are old license plates. How cute!
google avatar

Susan M.

Yelp
If you don't love dining while sitting on hard, uncomfortable wooden chairs, try to commandeer one of the very few tables on the wall to the right of the door with a cushioned bench on the wall side, or one of the few along the wall to the left of the door with actual stuffed "living room" chairs! It's pretty much self-serve, as you stand at the counter to order your food, get glasses for the beverages, go fill them up, and finally get to sit down to wait for your food to be brought to the table. Then you start going for beverage refills...more on that later... I had the Russell Burger, which was stacked so high I couldn't get it in my mouth, and while it was good, with interesting toppings (Gouda cheese, balsamic caramelized onions, and arugula, none of which I could single out), on a brioche bun that had a big black burn on the tops. All of that makes it difficult to squeeze it down to bite-size, and it's very messy...you'll have truffle aioli and meat juice all over you hands, so grab lots of napkins BEFORE you start eating! Although there is no small "side salad" on the menu, they do have one; just ask for it. It's an interesting mix of cucumber, celery, greens, and what I think was feta cheese. Because I asked for it with my burger, it was less expensive than it would be on its own. You'll get in some exercise throughout your meal because their beverage glasses aren't very big, and if you want tea, fruit and cucumber infused water, or just plain water, all the refill jugs are far across the very large room that is the restaurant. I think among the three of us, we collectively made six trips for refills, taking turns. I liked that part about as much as I liked the hard wooden chairs! And I wasn't impressed enough with any of the food we had to go back.
google avatar

Susan C.

Yelp
I love the Russell! It's one of my favorite restaurants in Kansas City. The wood fired grill makes for tasty salmon, chicken and steak. The bread is yummy and homemade. This visit however, their vegetables let me down. I had a friend in from out of town and she had never been there. I raved about how the vegetables were the best in town but they let me down this time. They weren't seasoned and weren't cooked properly and worse yet - they were good! I had to eat my words. Luckily, she enjoyed the salmon club (even though she's from Seattle and picky). The soup was great. Usually five stars but not this time. Well worth a visit. Salmon toast or club and chimichurra chicken are usually my favorites. Come early because searing is tough to find during peak lunch hours.
google avatar

Ernest H.

Yelp
I love this place. Went over lunch. Truly a day kid tryna live rights choice for good food. I had a burger (because see above) you can't go wrong. It was clean and tasted delicious. The joint is small and feels "homey". Service was cool. I had no complaints. Many other good options in that menu. I'll be back.
google avatar

Lisa R.

Yelp
The food is always fresh and delicious. The bakery treats are so, so good! I love meeting friends here for lunch.

Donalee Y.

Yelp
Great food, service, and atmosphere! Can't wait to go back . You won't go wrong going here!!!

Yelp
Best chicken sandwich I've had in KCMO. I'll be back to try the burger. Great location and the staff was awesome.
google avatar

Lauren R.

Yelp
The best. I have tried so many different menu options and everything is always on point. I have never left disappointed. From salads to tacos, there is a little bit of something for everyone, including bomb*ss desserts and cookies. The atmosphere is unique and I like the untraditional seating. It gets a little bit loud so I would not recommend work meetings but it's really not a deal breaker. I have also frequently ordered catered lunches from them and they are always quality, fresh and a crowd pleaser - which is hard to do with boxed lunches. 10/10 all around!
google avatar

Rolanda P.

Yelp
I love the food here. It's warm, nourishing, comforting, satisfying, it's all the things. Roasted veggies and perfectly grilled meat, the chicken is so tender and juicy. The food is an absolute must try but as much as I love the food, I love the space as well. This place reminds me of someone's rustic vacation cabin nestled in the mountains. Every time I walk in I'm immediately enamored with the smallest details of the decor and completely forget I'm in the city. Sitting down for lunch with a friend feels familiar and cozy. It's not sterile and doesn't feel like a restaurant, it feels like a retreat. It's the sort of place that draws you in and beckons you to linger...and visit the dessert counter.
google avatar

Max G.

Yelp
After 3 days of intensive barbecue eating, we all wanted salads. The Russell served us well. The salads are very fresh and tasty. One of us ordered a BLT that was delicious. We had carrot cake for dessert. Also very good. The ambiance was thrift store funky and suited the food well. The staff was very friendly.
google avatar

Laurel S.

Yelp
The food here is amazing!!! We tried 3 different sandwiches, the turkey club, chicken sandwich on ciabata and steak chimi, all were amazing. Upgraded the sides on 2 of them, got the fried potatoes and salad. The upgrade charge is $4. They were good but I would skip the upgrade next time to focus on the main dish. The cookies were also amazing. Can't wait to go back and try something else.
google avatar

Amanda R.

Yelp
Grabbed a late lunch here on a date day. I'm not picky, so we asked what the woman at the register recommended and followed her lead. My husband got the cheeseburger with chips and I got the pear salad with salmon. The salmon was delish! Had an awesome crust from it being grilled. The burger was very good too. No complaints!
google avatar

TeAirra P.

Yelp
The food is always amazing! There's construction around that makes it an "do I really wanna go". But the food makes out worth it. It's decently priced quality food!
google avatar

Yelp
I love this place! Great ingredients and pairing of flavors. I visit this spot every time I come to KC. Delicious, wholesome and local food. This place is sure to satisfy all appetites.

Yelp
This was our first time at the Russell. It's a smaller place but we'll worth the wait if you find it has one. You order at the counter and find a seat in the very cool space. The decor is rustic and trendy. We had the half chicken and the Salmon Bowl. Everything was so delicious, especially the chicken. It was juicy and so flavorful. To finish we tried some of their awesome bakery goods. The Bourbon brownie was amazing. Staff is awesome, space is cool and food is so delicious! This is definitely one of our new top spots to visit.
google avatar

Jeff K.

Yelp
The Russell was very good (4.5.) They were extremely accommodating as we arrived late from KCI and they served us. The food was fresh and service was quick and efficient. We mostly had salads and they certainly did not disappoint. The decor is rustic and warm and added to the overall ambiance. My daughter from S.F. especially loved her meal and the vibe.

L Enrique C.

Yelp
There's no single dish in this restaurant that is not at the very least good. Everything that I have eaten here is memorable. In addition, this place has some of the best servers, clerks, attendants....whatever you want to call them. Chris. Carrie. The little red head with the nose ring. The Latino kitchen. The amazing and kind owner. I just can't rave about the culture of this place. The menu. The service. The ambiance. The bathrooms. The decor. The location. I really have never eaten a better sandwich or had a better lemonade. I'm 48 years old. That's a lot of restaurant and lot of eating. And by the way, before you go thinking that this place is just for grandpas like me you better check yourself. I see people of every creed, race, age group, etc etc etc etc.....The place is so good that people forget their politics and enjoy a peaceful out of this world meal. This place is second to none. Long live The Russell and the people who make it their business to make that place the gem that it is.

Yelp
Beautiful interior, healthy and not so healthy options. The star of the show is definitely the food. It was obvious that every plate was thoughtfully prepared with the perfect combination of flavors, spices and herbs. Absolutely delicious and possibly one of my top favorite Kansas City lunch places. The steak and greens was amazing with roasted vegetables, fresh dressed greens and tender thinly sliced steak. We finished it off with the dessert of the day which was carrot cake and it was plenty for three people to share. Not too sweet, layers of moist cake and cream cheese frosting. Scrumptious!
google avatar

Grace Y.

Yelp
A hidden gem that I've passed by so many times without a second glance. The rustic interior is unique in KC and the sun streaming through the windows makes you feel warm and happy. The Steak Chimi (sub garlic aioli) was very filling and delicious. The bread almost tastes like it was baked in a wood-fired grill. The potatoes were perfectly baked and glazed. The Jalapeno Lemonade was an interesting drink...

Yelp
Second time here--- food is excellent! 'Sit by the hearth/stay for awhile' atmosphere is inviting. Everyone employee is SO nice!salmon BLT, truffle cheese mushroom app, steak chimi and cookies were off the chain yummy!! I'll def be back!

Yelp
Ordered the salmon BLT and sweet potatoes. Literally one of the best things I've ever eaten. And the guy that brought it out was super friendly! This is going to be a staple for me

Yelp
The vibe of the Russell is so cool and must be seen! It's like a cozy cabin, where you have such a great meal cooked over an open fire. I have never been disappointed in the food or drinks. I will definitely be going back soon.

Yelp
Great ambiance and decor! The food is a bit pricey, but tastes good. I ordered the pear salad with salmon - the salmon was perfectly cooked, there wasn't much lettuce but tons of candied walnuts and dried cherries. Considering the cost, I was surprised at the ordering process/that there's not really table-service, aside from having your food dropped off. You order at the front, then get your own drinks from the drink station, etc. not an issue by any means but I've only really seen that in more casual places like a Panera.

Yelp
The Russell is absolutely top tier! I'm not exaggerating when I say everything on the menu is good. From the starters, to the bowls, salads, burgers and desserts.... Everything is excellent. The food is cooked to order over a wood-fired grill ensuring maximum flavor for each dish. It's safe to say, no matter what you order, you chose the right thing. Seating is pretty good, but might be limited during their busy hours. The lights are always low, and it's mostly quiet. Staff is always friendly, and fast. -- They used to have a gluten free bourbon brownie that was absolutely divine. I hope they bring it back... things haven't been the same since they took it off the menu. You hear that Russell? Bring back that dang brownie. Please?

Yelp
First time there. The burger, turkey club and chicken club were excellent although the burger was too salty. The slice of carrot cake was very as well as huge, the gooey butter cookie was a tasty reminder of St. Louis. The bad news was the ambience...the noise level of the music was FAR too loud (and I have poor hearing!).
