Stopped here for breakfast since our hotel didn’t serve any breakfast. Waited about 15 minutes, on a Sunday morning, that was not bad at all. My daughter and I sat at the bar, I had the western omelette and she had chocolate chip pancakes. I did order a slice of the banana bread French toast because I HAD to try it. It was delicious! Food was excellent, service was excellent and a nice atmosphere. Will go back next time I’m in the area and try the carrot cake. I’ve been told it’s spectacular.

Got in at 7am and it was already packed. Good local place with good food but okay service. Waitresses seemed a little cranky in general, and this was my wife's view also, but they might have been having a bad day. Gotta stop by for the food and nostalgia.

Google
This has to be the best burger I’ve ever had in my life. Service was good. And a cool atmosphere. Biker decor covers every inch of the walls. 5 stars all around. Will definitely be back when we are in town.

Google
Oh my dear goodness. This food was divine. We went at around 10AM and it was about a 20-25 minute wait. Nothing too wild since it seems to be pretty popular. The staff is quick and efficient and that’s something I can always appreciate! The food was phenomenal. I’m still kind of in awe of how good it was. Our waitress mentioned cake, and it was my birthday, so I definitely got a slice to go. A day later, it’s still amazing. If you’re ready to slow down and enjoy a good breakfast, definitely stop here.

Google
I used to love to come here to eat breakfast but the last couple of times I have not enjoyed my breakfast. The scrambled eggs had no flavor and the biscuits were too thick. The service is still top-notch. The girls are always ready with the coffee.

On our last trip up to Clayton my wife and I had the privilege to grab lunch at the Rusty Bike Cafe. We had lunch on the way into Clayton and we had breakfast on the way out of Clayton as we headed back home. What a great place to eat. The atmosphere is fun with lots of funny signs hanging on the walls to keep you entertained while you wait for your food. Lots of photos of patrons on their motorcycles as well. The food came out quickly and tasted great. The deserts looked incredible, but we were to full to give them a try this time. We will indulge the next time we pass through. We highly recommend giving this place a try.

I first Pulled into this shopping center due to the amount of cars in the parking lot searching for a non chain restaurant to eat lunch. Once parked I noticed there were 3 different restaurants in this strip mall. Now the real dilemma which one do pick. After sitting in my truck for about 10 min I noticed a majority of the people were entering the rusty bike cafe. So what did I do, follow the crowds. Once inside the restaurant I was greeted with incredible hospitality and sat down at the bar immediately with minimal wait. Sitting at the bar by the entrance and cash register I was able to observe a lot of things. The first was the incredible staff and customer service they provide to locals and new customers. Second was speed of service I had my full meal plus some free extra French toast in under 15 min of my initial seating. Don’t be discouraged by a long wait they know how to move customers in and out. Now the food was incredible! Well prepared and great portions! Now as I was finishing up I got to meet the owner. We talked for about 30 min. His attitude and good energy, leadership is a huge reflection of his restaurant. Incredible place to visit if your in north Georgia or heading into the mountains.

Google
This place is great We met my oldest friend in the world there for lunch. Place is themed super cool. Think Harley-Davidson meets a north Ga mountain diner. The food was good. Fast, accurate, and tasty. Breakfast served all day, so keep that in mind. Would definitely recommend it. I would definitely go back.

Yelp
Ample portions for the cost, great biscuits! I had an omelette, it was huge! My friend had eggs n ham, it too was huge! Very busy cafe tucked in the mountains of N Ga. But right on the main road into town. Ideal place to visit for gear heads and motorcycle enthusiasts. Be prepared to wait. Definitely a place I would recommend to friends and would come back to visit when in town.

Yelp
Celiac friendly! If this means anything to you then you know! I called ahead and spoke to the owner Joel. After just a couple of minutes on the phone I knew he understood what it meant to accommodate someone. Upon arrival he spoke to us personally and gave my daughter full confidence that her meal would be safe. Over the last year of trying to navigate celiac we have found eating out to be a super challenge. Today Joel made our visit amazing. All of this aside the food was wonderful! The service was prompt and the atmosphere made us feel like regulars. We will definitely return when we are in the area. Thank you Joel and staff for a wonderful experience.

Yelp
Visiting from out of town, good ol' American traditional cozy mom and pop shop feel. Food was good & came out fast! Every table was full so clearly a local staple.
google avatar

Yelp
The place is clean but the bathrooms not clean at all. It was loud in there. Very crowded. Kind of hot in there. The food was reasonably priced and good. The cole slaw was horrible. It was vinegar based.

Yelp
Went to The Rusty Bike Cafe for brunch today while on an impromptu trip to the mountains. I ordered the #7 (The Three Wheeler) - pancakes, eggs, and sausage. My husband ordered the #3 (Roadster) - Country Fried Steak, gravy, eggs, hash browns, and a biscuit. Everything was really good! Pancakes were delicious, but HUGE!!!
google avatar

Collyns S.

Yelp
I and my family stopped here on our way back from NC for summer vacation and enjoyed it!! The hash browns, are TO DIE FOR!! They are perfectly crispy on the top and as you continue eating the bottom turns into that excellent kind of soft type! I got the breakfast burrito and it was awesome, just like the employees!! They are supper nice and attentive! This place is awesome, very family friendly, and kind of reminds me of my uncles man cave. Overall 10/10 will visit again if we're in the area!!

Yelp
Great spot for breakfast just south of downtown Clayton. Big portions, reasonable prices and super fast service. I think our food came out within five minutes of ordering. Everything was delicious but the pancakes and Hawaiian toast were highlights. Coffee was also great! Clean and bright interior with lots of bike/motorcycle decor. Leave your politics and attitude behind... this place will gladly refuse to serve you if you're a jerk.
google avatar

Yelp
If you take away the cute decor and funny signs you would have the most below average diner you have ever been to. Southern small town diner that couldn't even get the grits right. Sorry, but soupy grits? Also, the coffee was watery and bland. Aside from that, everything else, including the service was pretty bland as well. Big portions dont matter if the food isn't prepared well. Do you self a favor and go to any of the other places in town who actually care.

Cindy M.

Yelp
By far, the best breakfast I've eaten (while traveling). The pancakes tasted just like my mom's. I love the option of 3 meats, grits, and a pancake. Most restaurants don't have this option. Very reasonably priced. Highly recommend!!!!

Corinna F.

Yelp
A favorite local spot with a bike theme. Casual dining. Good service. Great food. Worth the wait.

Yelp
Let's start with the ambience of this place because I feel like it's the main thing once you walk in lol. We'll get to the food (it was great) but I feel this is a need to know for anyone that wants to try this place. It is very political here. Very clearly pro MAGA and conservative. Not saying anything against it, I just feel it's something people should know in deciding if they want to come here or not. When you walk in there are signs and pictures hanging on every inch of the walls and I'd say when you walk in and around the bar about half of them are something political. When you get to were we sat in the back of the place there are some cool pictures and signs that aren't political in nature (kinda giving off old zaxbys before the rebrand) so that was nice. Aside from that, the food here was really good and so was the service. We got the banana bread French toast that the server (Cassie) recommended and it was a treat. I think it goes a little over the top with the banana bread, but it was still really good, just super decadent. I think it would have been better with regular French toast with all the same toppings of this one though. My fiancé got the Black Bird which is a blackened fried chicken with melted pimento cheese and there rusty sauce that is similar to a yumyum sauce. He said it was amazing. Onion rings were good too. I got the gear shifter. Everything was great the sausage patty was super yummy. I added cheese to my grits and they were not stingy with the cheese at all. We got coffees too and they were pretty good. Overall this place was good, just a little in your face political.

Yelp
Food, service and if you are up for some sarcasm, sit at the bar ha. Soo much food that we decided to wait for supper before eating again. Corned beef hash done perfectly.

Pam W.

Yelp
My husband and I recently ate breakfast at the Rusty Bike and the service was horrible. My husband specifically asked the waitress for crispy bacon. When he received his order from a food runner the bacon was almost raw. Our waitress never came back to our table to ask if everything was okay. She came over after we had finishe'd to ask if we needed anything else. She had to notice that the bacon had barely been touched. I understand the need for food runners but feel it is the responsibility of the waitress to follow up on her tables. We will find another place to eat breakfast in the future.

Yelp
We made a last minute decision to try them for Breakfast during our last morning in Clayton, and SO glad we did. We arrived to a 10-15 minute wait, but were offered instant seating at the bar which we took advantage of. The Owner, Joel, was putting together place settings near us and handed us menus. I ordered "The Trike" and my wife had a biscuit and gravy. Food arrived in about 10 minutes and was absolutely delicious. About twice the hash browns you get at WH, two eggs, 2 strips of bacon, and a large freshly baked biscuit with butter and strawberry jam. We both enjoyed our meal. While we were at the bar, Joel was chatting with us and he was a pleasure to converse with. He told us about some of the other breakfast options and gave us both a sample of his wife's Apple Cinnamon cake, which was excellent. The atmosphere is definitely that of a small mountain town. We felt right at home and enjoyed looking at some of the trinkets and decals scattered around our area. Highly suggest you give them a try!

Yelp
The food was top notch and very affordable. Great for families and children. Service was prompt and food came to the table in record time. The ambiance is definitely "biker cafe" and conservative.

Emily W.

Yelp
The banana bread French toast is extremely good. The other breakfast plates are good as well, we had the trike and loved all of it. Service is good, but expect a wait on the weekend - we waited about 30 minutes for a party of three but it was worth the wait.

Lauren M.

Yelp
The food was amazing, the setting was good, but that's not what I'm here to talk about. The problem was that the service was under par, I ordered a coffee because I need to be caffeinated, but what came out was the most watered down tasteless coffee. So like any other person would do, I asked my waiter for another coffee that was from another pot. DENIED. She said word for word "it's pre-measured and all the same" I replied that maybe it got ran through the filter twice. DENIED. I was downright frustrated, confused, and some would say furious! I waited for them to make another pot and then asked another waiter. She said the same exact thing it's all the same. I had to argue just to get another coffee. So it took arguing to get another coffee. I will recommend going, but I was just telling my experience.

Linda H.

Yelp
Absolute one of the best Pancakes ever! Trump would be proud. I can't wait to visit with you guys again. I understand you have the best Hamburger around.

Yelp
The food was really solid. My dining companion, and I split an order of the banana bread, French toast, and the Breakfast Burrito. We really enjoyed both items. The banana bread had a nice flavor. It was nice and eggy and covered with bananas. Good time and a delicious praline sauce. It wasn't overly sweet and it had a nice texture. But it's not banana bread is in a loaf of banana bread it's like may be a challah bread flavored with banana. In any case it was the perfect texture for French toast. Surprise star of the meal was the breakfast burrito. I can't explain why I liked it so much. The wrap had a nice chewiness...Maybe the egg is cooked directly on the wrap???? I can't explain the alchemy... It was just a perfect match. We also very much enjoyed the sausage in the burrito. It had a mild flavor and firm texture that we really enjoyed. Just a really solid meal. Very nice. The prices were also very fair, as well as the serving size. We did not go away hungry. In terms of the atmosphere it was fine. The wait staff was really nice. And it felt like a homey place. I could've lived without some of the signage. Not a very welcoming, feeling initially... But we got past it and really enjoyed our food.

Jim M.

Yelp
Tried burger for the burger challenge. Def worst one out of the bunch. Preformed frozen patties. How you supposed to win with that? Waitress was short and snippy. Never checked or asked if we liked the burger. Come to find out she wanted to go home cause it was her first day back in a while. Trying to say something good but we even saw the waitresses shaking heads and complaining when people came. Sucks when you go out of your way to be extra nice to someone who couldn't care less. I tried to get her to interact. Overall they might have something else good there but I'll never know because we ain't going back! Bless your hearts Rustic (rusty attitude lol) waitresses and burger!

Gus T.

Yelp
I said we'd be back and we were. I forgot to mention the nice ambiance of the place. The decor, the staff, and even the customers made for a very enjoyable vibe. Definitely my favorite breakfast place in the area.

Yelp
So I happened on this place several years ago and had the best BLT I had ever had in a restaurant. It still pops up in Facebook every year in my memories. I have been following them on FB and they are always posting pictures and bragging on these beautiful cakes and some other desserts. So I decided today to take a ride up into the north Georgia mountains and stop here for lunch. First, the menu has changed (might have been some time ago) and there is no BLT. Disappointed, but I order a Reuben. On the menu under sweets, it has two options, one of which is "Cake of the Day." So I ask what the cake is and I am told that there is no cake, they had half of a cake leftover but somebody bought it all. So, if that random customer had not come in, they were going to serve me day-old cake. You know that day-old stuff in a bakery is always on sale, right? So, now no BLT and no cake. So I pay $20 for a soggy Reuben and a cup of coffee and get to eat it on a sticky bar with a display of Trump memorabilia in front of me. I was always told one of the first rules of business is no politics. Why did I give it two stars? The staff was nice. But I will never be back to this place, there are too many other food options in the area.

Denise R.

Yelp
We were in town for the day, and decided to stop in and have brunch! There was a little wait but well worth it. I had pancakes with eggs and country ham. And my friend had breakfast burrito with hashbrowns and grits! Everything was large proportions and delicious! It was freshly made! Our waitress Kim was amazing and quite funny! Everyone who works there was really nice. I highly recommend this place, but please go early if you go on a Sunday.!

Sue L.

Yelp
After a long walk at Tallulah Gorge, my friend and I decided to stop in here for breakfast. I typically come in for lunch. We both love it every time, but I haven't done a review before. We arrived mid-morning and were surprised that there wasn't a wait. There were open tables, too, which is unusual. We were seated right away and our drink order was taken quickly. We both ordered The Trike breakfast with hash browns. Hers had a biscuit and scrambled eggs. Mine was with Hawaiian toast and poached eggs. The eggs were cooked perfectly so when I broke the yolks over my hash browns. Yum! I had never ordered the Hawaiian toast before and was really looking forward to it. However, it was only toasted on one side which disappointed me. The flavor was good, though. We both enjoyed looking at all the paraphernalia and photos on the wall, noting some minor changes. The Rusty Bike is definitely one of a kind! Every visit to this location provides delicious food and efficient service. Don't miss it!

Yelp
What can I say. This Cafe never disappoints. We stop in for breakfast every time we pass through Clayton. Been doing it for years, and don't plan to stop. If there is a line, just sit tight......it will be worth it! And don't skip out on lunch either! Awesome burgers!
google avatar

Kathy M.

Yelp
This SMALL Peanut Butter Pie amazing but 1 is enough for 4 people to share. This was dessert after excellent Pattie Melt, Breakfast ! Waitresses friendly fun yet short on help.
google avatar

Joseph S.

Yelp
While you likely will have to wait at least 10 minutes to be seated, the wait is well worth it. All of their food is delicious.
google avatar

Amy P.

Yelp
Went on a day trip to check out Clayton and stopped in for lunch. Reviews for this place are accurate. Plan to wait for a table, service is good and the food is excellent. I got a Reuben which was delicious and fries were a very large portion. My husband got the hog burger and enjoyed. The atmosphere is not for everyone so if you are easily offended you may not like the decor. We found it entertaining. Only downside I would say is the kitchen is open to the restaurant and I watched our server (Lisa S) scrap the tray of a multi-layer peanut butter and chocolate cake with a spoon and eat it. The cake certainly looked scrumptious but it was kinda a turn off and likely frowned upon by the health department.
google avatar

Miguel L.

Yelp
This place is amazing , food was fresh made to order, service was outstanding . Definitely one of my to go places when in the area. Ambiance superb.

Larry A.

Yelp
Has everything you could imagine Delicious. Great service Going back right now. Best deal in Clayton
google avatar

Yelp
There isn't anything Rusty about this restaurant. Sitting in a little strip on 441S among several other restaurants, this one is a must if you've in the area! Get there early, the line was out the door and down the block. The biscuits were tall and fluffy. Bacon cooked to perfection, eggs and hash were spot on.
google avatar

Lisa C.

Yelp
On the way to our original destination, we drove past this restaurant. I asked my friend how the food was and she said it was great. She asked me if I wanted to go and I responded yes being breakfast is my favorite meal. This proved to be a fantastic choice. The food was delicious and the portions were generous. My friend and I both ordered the #7 along with a biscuit and side of sausage gravy to share. She opted for original pancakes, one with chocolate chip and one regular. Whereas, I ordered the multigrain pancakes. We both opted for scrambled eggs. She had sausage patties and I had chicken sausage links. Our meals were delivered correct, the food was fresh and served hot. Our server was great! We never wanted for coffee refills and she was knowledgeable about the menu. The restaurant has a large dining room as well as a bar area. The condiment selection is on point and they offer multiple hot causes to include Cholula. The menu is vast and the restroom was clean. I recommend breakfast at The Rusty Bike Cafe. It was just what we needed to conquer the trails at nearby Tallulah State Park.

Kim W.

Yelp
The food here is delicious. Everything we had was fabulous. The service was efficient and fast. The banana bread French toast, corned beef hash and the western omelet were all great. The grits were fantastic. The biscuits were fluffy and delicious. The pork chop was perfectly cooked. We all enjoyed everything we ate.

Leta V.

Yelp
Unbelievably good. Everything we ordered was delicious. The biscuits were the best. Country fried steak, banana bread French toast all out of this world. We will be back.

Yelp
A unique breakfast spot in Clayton. Pretty good reviews. Wait was a bit long, around 45 minutes so be prepared for that. It was the weekend though. It was definitely worth it! Lots of choices on the menu with both breakfast and lunch available. I was Rouen between the burrito, the Ruben or the hog. I landed on the hog. A Burger with bacon in it, topped with pimento cheese, jalapeños, fried onion rings and their Rusty sauce. Really good. The Rusty sauce was really nice. The burger blend was really good. Loved the burger. Deb had the country fried steak biscuit. Delicious as well. Gravy was nice and thick. She also had some French toast. Too sweet for me but really good. A great breakfast/ lunch spot.

Mitchell N.

Yelp
Ok - so the best thing about the restaurant is Joel the owner. Opinionated, loud and argumentative - just like me! He talked with us the whole time we ate at the counter, while he did like 8 other things. I had the country fried steak - the real deal. Large portion, perfectly done with all the fixin's. Old fashioned diner ambiance with better food. Don't let the political sign on the door dissuade you - Joel is a friend to all.
google avatar

Robert O.

Yelp
Love the breakfast there. Wish the restaurant was bigger. It's aways a little wait to get in. And the seating is tight. The waiting staff is great. Food is great.
google avatar

Roxi M.

Yelp
Whenever we are in the area, we make it a point to stop for the best breakfast ever! Great service!
google avatar

Kathryn D.

Yelp
First - be prepared for a short wait. Super popular eatery and for good reason. The food is very good as was the service. I had the Rueben with sweet potato tots, very good indeed. My mother had biscuits & gravy with eggs and our friend settled on a chef's salad. The only complaint was the mustard salad dressing she chose which she didn't care for. My mother decided to get a slice of lemon curd cake to take home and our friend took a slice of coconut cake home to enjoy. The cakes are as delicious as they look. We will definitely be back when we're out wandering.

Leslie E.

Yelp
Fast service! Wait time was less than expected and food arrived fast too. Great food and many options.

Jeremy W.

Yelp
I ordered a bunch of take-out meals for some students. When I arrived to pick it up I saw my orders stacked behind the counter. While I was waiting the food fell over and some of it touched the floor. Not realizing I was the customer one of the servers was going to put the floor food back into the container until they realized I saw it on the floor. They remade the orders that had fallen and I left with the food. They shorted me one meal but I didn't realize till I had left. I called back and told them they forgot an order and they didn't believe me and refused to make it. So, I had a student who didn't get a meal. The service was horrible, the staff is rude and the food is mediocre at best. Take your business elsewhere.

Yelp
Every time we're in Clayton Georgia, we make it a point to stop by the rusty bike Café... their food never disappoints. Ample servings, yummy flavors. Excellent service, completely worth the wait.!!!
google avatar

Yelp
It's a nice small tacky restaurant. it was busy when we got there so to me it was a sign that it's good! Took awhile to get seated but they tried to as quick as they could. When We got seated we had a nice server. Got the country fried steak with homemade hash brown, homemade biscuit, scrambled eggs. My whole meal was super good I loved it! I will be back!
google avatar

Yuchen Z.

Yelp
Just what we were looking for as a nice southern breakfast spot. Was in town for a wedding and wanted to try some local eateries. Got seated really quickly even though it was crowded because we had a group that fit at the big table. Portions were large. Service was fast. Value was great - so cheap. FMC - Biscuits, sausage, smothered in gravy, eggs how I wanted, and hashbrowns. All my favorite things on one plate - how can I complain?? Delicious. Hawaiian french toast - sounds good but was just OK according to my partner. A little flat. Flavors were good but just kind of thin and basic. Veggie Omlete - large and yummy. Favorite quote of the meal: Customer: "Can I have a black coffee please?" Waitress: "uhm... we only have one kind of coffee... like just...coffee."
google avatar

Richie K.

Yelp
My family and I stopped in on our way home to Miami. I must say the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Even for being busy. It is nice to see regulars because you know the food and service is good! I was not disappointed and we left very satisfied by our meal and the service provided. Thank you for an excellent home cooked meal!

Susan B.

Yelp
Traveling on vacation and stopped to eat here. There was quite a crowd and once we experienced eating here - we knew why. The food and service were amazing! My husband had the Banana French Toast with praline syrup and the biscuits with sausage gravy. We're from Texas and he said he'd drive back to this part of the country just to eat here again! I had the steak, eggs, hash browns and biscuit - it was amazing. Our server, Della, was amazing too! Friendly, personable, prompt, hard working, kind and funny! Great food and great service! Couldn't ask for more and we plan to return!
google avatar

Carolyn J.

Yelp
Best pancakes I've ever tasted! I had the banana pancakes with praline syrup. It was out of this world good! The waitress was so nice & being a senior citizen she let me half my order since they had no seniors citizen separate menu. You rarely get this accommodation! It would have been way too much if I'd ordered the general menu selection. The atmosphere was really cool and the place was packed but I didn't have to wait long to sit or receive my food! If ever I go to Clayton again I will definitely stop again! Yummy!

Yelp
This was the first time visiting on a Sunday late morning for brunch. They have traditional diner food, and are certainly a decent little greasy spoon. We waited about 15 minutes, but seemed to move very quickly. There is a ton of old bike memorabilia, pictures etc. The staff was friendly and quick with service for as busy as they were. I ordered the prime rib sandwich, I generally enjoy mine rare to medium rare, and I believe all the meat here is well done. My father in law was generous enough to share half of his haddock sandwich with me, and I enjoyed that! My wife shared a bit of her chicken salad wrap which I also though was delicious. I believe I will try pancakes next time we are there! :)

Yelp
5*! Amazing food and fast service. Best breakfast I've ever eaten out. Home cooking and great atmosphere.
