Located in the heart of downtown Nashville, this place is sophisticated, chic and romantic. Elegant decor and a calming atmosphere. Perfect for an evening date or catching up with friends. We Stopped by for an early dinner, the two gentleman at the front desk sat us by a booth facing the window so we had a lovely view of the street. Our server didn’t get his name but he was fantastic, though he was in training he was well versed on the menu and the lady that was with him was excellent as well. Both were very inviting and an answered all our questions about out the menu. Our meal came out in time and was delicious. Beautiful presentation! service was exceptional. This was our second time visiting the area and will definitely come back next time we’re in town.

We were really excited to visit, however we were disappointed with the experience. It was Sunday around 4pm. We thought the service would be better. They were not busy. Madison was our waitress and she was nice but super slow! We had two appetizers which we were excited to try. The Warm Pimento Cheese Crap dip was very good. We were disappointed with the Shrimp Wontons because we thought the Mike’s hot honey was going to be “hot” spicy but it wasn’t. For our main course we split The Rutledge Prime Cheeseburger, add jack cheese, fried egg, and well done bacon. The burger came out with Cheddar Cheese. We were interested in dessert. When Madison finally returned we ordered the 6 layer chocolate cake. It was good. We eat out a lot. We enjoy experiencing different restaurants and it is always a special occasion for us. We probably will not repeat dinner at The Rutledge. Very disappointing after seeing all the wonderful experiences on Tik Tok

We had a great visit to the Rutledge. It was a late night Father’s Day dinner, and we kind of had the place to ourselves. Our waitress was kind, engaging and efficient. The food was great! Definitely glad we dined here.

We dined here on a Saturday evening to celebrate our anniversary while in Nashville. Once arriving we were warmly greeted by the hostess and walked upstairs to our table. Upstairs was dimly lit and perfect for special occasions. Our waiter Austin arrived to our table promptly and was very friendly. Austin made several recommendations and checked on us often throughout our meal, providing excellent service. I enjoyed the seasonal cocktail, Pretty in Pink, while my husband had the old fashioned. The drinks were strong and tasty. I ordered the steak salad and loaded baked potato and both were very delicious. My husband had the ribeye and loaded baked potato which he also enjoyed. Overall we enjoyed our experience and would dine at The Rutledge again.

We had such an incredible dining experience at the Rutledge. The food was delectable and the wine was top notch! The oysters were so delicious! Everything was cooked to perfection. It was on my list of places to try and I'm so glad we did. 10/10 would absolutely recommend!

First time visiting this restaurant, and it was really good! The atmosphere was nice, and I liked the modern look and feel. Our server was great, and she was friendly and laidback. The food was delicious too! Definitely recommend the pressed tuna.

My wife and I went to Nashville with a friend couple. We spent three days over a weekend in town. We wanted to experience the music scene in town, as well as food and some cocktail bars. We expected to be impressed by the Honky Tonks in town. And we were hoping that the Speakeasy bars and regular cocktail bars in town were same calibre as other towns/cities. We dined here at the Rutledge a Saturday evening. We had a reservation. They have a nice selection of food and beverages. There is no dress code. The restaurant is modern with some tables and booths. We got a booth and definitely liked that. We really liked the food - real tasty. The service staff were polite and somewhat professional - but it was a bit obvious that some of the staff were quite new. But that was ok. All staff needs training. Overall a very nice experience.

We came here for our 13th anniversary and had a wonderful time. The service was absolutely top notch. Steve gave us a phenomenal experience, he was everything you’d hope to have in a waiter and more. We had a beautiful view from our table. My only complaint is that the food was a little on the bland side but still good. My steak was cooked perfectly, just not enough seasoning for my personal taste. Overall it was a bit over priced but still a great night

Yelp
I just love the entire posh vibe here. I ordered the avocado toast with a side a fries. The avocado toast was so good and so filling. The fries were a generous portion and so crispy. Writing this makes me want to go back. Just make sure you have a resy, so you can ensure you'll get a table. we went for brunch!

Yelp
The first thing that blows you away is the AMBIANCE! The decor is immaculate- down to the lighting, silver accents , led lights , and art ! The bar sits in the middle of the restaurant with dining on each side . The restaurant sits on two level with dining on the top . Me and my husband dined here for Saturday brunch. We were greeted by the hostess CC. She was warm , friendly and professional. Our server was McKinsey - she was attentive , friendly, and did an awesome job walking us through the menu . My husband ordered the breakfast board and of course I nibbled on his plate a bit , this is a MUST to try on the menu . The smoked salmon is high quality and very fresh . The bacon was thick cut and the waffles were delicious. I had bacon and eggs . The bacon was a different cut than what was on the breakfast board and the eggs could have been cooked a little harder in my opinion. The biscuit and potatoes were delicious and McKinsey brought out some strawberry Jam for me . Now - the libations...I had the mimosa flight and had tons of champagne left so it was well worth the price because you mix it yourself . ..and the Moët vending machine- I loved the idea of this ! You purchase a token and use the token to purchase a miniature bottle of Moët ! The restaurant was also beautifully decorated for the holiday season.

Yelp
This is review for the speakeasy at The Rutledge, Anonymous. It was a pleasant surprise and fun experience talking to Josh about alcohol anxiety te artistry of mixology. It's dark, moody, modern, and mature. Josh was knowledgeable and hospitable. I told him that my favorite cocktail was a Paloma and he asked me if I wanted to make it with some Fall flavor. BUT IF COURSE I DID! I enjoyed my drink and my best friend loved hers. I recommend that anyone who really wants a masterful cocktail experience with premium alcohols, artistry, and an intimate atmosphere come here. Like most people who've been in Nashville a long time, going downtown is like nails on a chalkboard but this made the spooky season speak easy crawl worth it alone! I love it enough to come back downtown.

Yelp
We had the most fantastic time at Rutledge because of our server Steve!! He made the experience memorable!! Steve knew our names and called us by them throughout the entire dinner...there are 5 of us! We ordered the seasonal pasta, ribeye, filet roll, ahi tuna, bisque, shishito peppers and chicken noodle soup!! Delish!! Thank You!!

Yelp
This could've been a five star review, but it wasn't for me I must say the food was very good. I had the tuna, baked potato and prime rib, Brussel sprouts and the desserts were outstanding. The Decour was very nice upscale !!?Unfortunately, when we walk in at 6:10, the server Andrew ( he was nice and helpful when we sat down ) served us so quickly that our salads weren't even completed when he brought out our main course the prime rib was cold, and the tuna was undercooked. The baked potato was hot. The brussels sprouts were very good It all happened in such a swift moment this is supposed to be a dining experience not a quickie Fast food dinner Luckily, the manager came over and save the day. They did do right by us and I appreciate that !!! If it wasn't for the way this all occurred I would've definitely give them five stars.

Yelp
First time here and everything we had was great. The mimosa flight is honestly a good deal even at $38. The heirloom Bloody Mary may just be the best Bloody Mary in Nashville. I had the French toast and wow was it good. My wife had the prime rib hash. I tried a bite and it's extremely good. The skillet cinnamon rolls are too sweet and I appreciated that though know that it's biscuit dough rather than yeast dough. Not saying it is bad just not what you would get from a bakery.

Yelp
The spinach dip is so good it's enough for 3 people. It's season really really good. I promise you will not regret getting this dip.

Yelp
If you like cucumber, order the cucumbertini! So refreshing and pairs perfectly with sushi! I don't remember the exact sushi roll we got but it was delicious! We went here for our anniversary and they gave us tokens to get a bottle of champagne from the vending machine- SO FUN!! Loved the vibes and the service was great
google avatar

Yelp
I really enjoyed my experience here. My husband and I came and sat at the bar for dinner before the symphony. We were in the mood to share so we got the: -pressed sushi - amazing! Wish we had ordered 2 -Steak rolls - thought these were going to be like steak and biscuits but the were like southwest egg rolls. Great flavor but wasn't expecting the fried part. -mahi mahi - very fresh and nice portion of fish; lacked a little flavor after the apps though but I think if I had just ordered that and both had the chimichuri sauce with the steak rolls it would have had much more -old fashioned - this was excellent I would definitely go back for the old fashioneds and the pressed sushi. Four stars though because it is crazy expensive. The sushi roll is $20. But if you're prepared for the prices and like splitting to try more things I'd recommend coming here.

Yelp
First things first, my drink was delicious! It was one of the best espresso martinis. The food was really good as well. Loved the seasoning of the broccolini. Our server was good. He seemed really busy so we went without water a couple of times but other than that no issues. The restaurant was really nice. They had a dj and the music was sort of loud resulting in us having to elevate our voices a little to talk. I would definitely go back.

Yelp
Found this hidden gem through Instagram reels so don't let its few reviews deter you! This is a new restaurant built on the waterfront of downtown Nashville, right off the Honky Tonk Highway. It is very upscale with a beautifully decorated bar area, LED blue lights and awesome music. You have to dress to impress as there is a smart casual dress code. The service was very fast and our waiter was accommodating to how long we took with the menu. He gave us some great recommendations. I ordered the salmon and my boyfriend ordered the lobster roll. My first choice was the chicken but they were already sold out and it was only 7:30pm so that was pretty disappointing. I switched to the salmon which was caked in butter so I didn't like it. The couscous kale salad was good but barely filling. My boyfriend did enjoy his lobster though! I actually forgot my phone at the table but they had it saved for me when I went back to get it so that was a relief!! Overall, I'd go for the vibes but don't expect to get full off your meal as this is a pricey place.

Yelp
I loved the aesthetics of this restaurant. The service was amazing as my server was very knowledgeable about the menu and also recommended great suggestions. I was able to try the Starstruck and it has a sparkler that was super cool. I got a Caesar salad as an appetizer and it was so fresh and delicious. I ordered the 8 ounce filet mignon add shrimp with a side of asparagus and lobster Mac n cheese. My bestfriend tried the Tuscan shrimp pasta, and loved it. For dessert I ordered the espresso martini and my bestfriend ordered the milk and cookies. I highly recommend this restaurant it was amazing. They also have a champagne vending machine.

Yelp
There are not enough stars to emphasize how much I appreciate this location and staff. I am going to include the email I sent to them. My family and I visited your establishment for brunch today before the Titans Game. I was put in charge of reservations and in the haste to find a spot for four two days before the game I booked the Franklin location vs. Downtown. Everyone from the hostess to the bartender were an absolute class act. I would have to say this is one of the best experiences I have ever had at a restaurant. The hostess was very friendly and understanding. Our server Keith was great and very patient. The bar staff and manager who called the Franklin location to get the recipe for the International drink went above and beyond. It is the number one drink on my best drinks list. Our meal was outstanding, everyone enjoyed everything and they were still talking about it on the ride home. I just wanted to say thank you all again so much for going the extra mile and having some grace on my mistake.

Yelp
Fancy pants atmosphere with OKish food. I'd go somewhere else for drinks and or apps.

Yelp
I'm so happy we will be living close to this place, it has so many different "faces". We have been here for romantic dinners, the service have been outstanding and the menu has everything a girl can want, your regular salad with added protein but with a fun twist, yummy sushi, innovative starters to share and of course a wine list that will keep you busy for a long time! It's also a perfect place for a large group, there is a chambre separé alternative if you like to book a room where you can celebrate or meet in a more private setting. Tiffany the private event a manager is a pleasure to work with there! So you are only eating by yourself? No worries there are two bars where you can belly up, no reservation needed, you will be taken good care off and feel both comfortable and the bartenders are super nice and will chat or leave you alone, whatever you wish for. Oh, and now to the really fun part, party with your friends! The ambiance is breathing exciting times, I love the lighting and the decorations and weather your in for a full dinner or cocktails you are in for a good time! It's not stuffy but I see a lot of dressed up pretty people and it's just a relaxed and exciting atmosphere at the same time. Did I mention there is a rumor of a VIP speak easy.... No you did not hear that from me!! Don't miss out on this new great addition to downtown Nashville!

Yelp
We visited Nashville about a month ago and this was the very first bar/restaurant we went to. We came here for lunch and although Broadway was packed, The Rutledge luckily still had a more quiet and relaxing atmosphere. The interior is very sleek and modern, with some amazing locally inspired artwork as well as a beautiful teardrop chandelier light setup above the bar. All of the staff, and especially our server, were very friendly and attentive. He also listed some of his favorite bars and restaurants, as well as places we should visit while in Nashville. As for our lunch, they had a brunch menu from which we picked the poached eggs & salmon, and the avocado toast with salmon and eggs on top. Both dishes were wonderful. One did look a bit more refined than the other (I suggested they should dice the tomato instead of slapping a slice on like a burger lol). My mom had a glass of Chardonnay with her meal, which she said tasted great, and I asked the waiter to make me a random cocktail with rum in it. I don't remember what it was, but it was very refreshing. I wish we could have come back here for dinner!

Yelp
Really 4.5 stars. Very impressed with every step from the room and setting--comfortable yet classy. A step up for Nashville. Attentive service too. But come for the range of tastes and flavors--at a reasonable downtown price. Creative cocktails get you rolling, right into some chomping good appetizers. LOVED the shrimp wontons, crispy, perfect. The entrees were full of flavor--recommend the Tuscan Shrimp Pasta, spicy and filling. The salmon was grilled to order and fresh so the flavor remained. But you must save something for the desserts--fun, creative and generous. The caramel apple crisp was beyond good. Great room, better food, a new go-to for us.

Yelp
My wife and I just got back from Nashville and we wanted to try The Rutledge since we were coming back in a couple of months and staying at the Four Seasons. Casper was our bartender and he was solid. We wanted to sit at the bar just because it always feels more lively than at a table especially since we were coming off a late night. My wife ordered the Masion Blanche and I went with a Casamigos Margarita. Both were excellent. I eventually moved into Chenin Blanc and she went jumped into the sparkling wine adventure. We had a few and then a few more. As for the food, we opted for small plates and got the Lobster Bites which were fantastic. They don't skimp on the lobster either which is refreshing. At some places, you end up with a monster piece of toast and what amounts to half a knuckle of lobster. Not so here. The Shrimp Wontons were done well but I don't like the sweetness of the honey personally so if I get them next time, I will ask for a soy sauce for dipping. We also got the Charcuterie Board and that was done very well. There was a solid mixture of cheeses and meats with a nice presentation. The one thing that was a slight negative was that they were running food to the wrong people for the first part of the night but they eventually ironed that out. The crowd was cool and I would recommend it.

Yelp
Came to celebrate the hubby's birthday. Food was amazing. The entire staff was friendly and made the celebration special. Nice portion sized meals - definitely had to get a to go container. We got invited to the speakeasy,Anonymous that's upstairs. While the drinks are pricier (starts at $25) it's definitely worth the experience.

Yelp
I am visiting Nashville for a 21st birthday and this is where we chose to have dinner one night. The interior is amazing and so beautiful. Our waitress was friendly and knowledgeable. As a vegan, I was disappointed that there were not any vegan friendly options. Even their noodles had egg in them which left me little to no choices. I wish a restaurant like this offered more plant-based alternatives. Overall I personally wouldn't come back unless they had more vegan options, but my sisters loved it. If you aren't plant based it's a great restaurant to go to!

Yelp
FIVE STARS!! We made reservations on a Friday evening at 6. The restaurant wasn't busy at all so there wasn't any trouble getting sat at our table. Our waiter was Bryce and he was very friendly and attentive! He recommend a Safire martini and a cucumber mint martini. Our guests had the old fashions which they enjoyed very much. We chose not to order any appetizers, even through they sounded so delicious! For our entree I chose the Lobster Rolls with the asparagus and the kale Cesar salad. I must say that was one of the best Cesar salad I have tasted. My boyfriend and our guests all ordered the Fillet. The Fillet had such a wonderful flavor, I couldn't stop asking for more bites! Haha! They also have a champagne vending machine! (As pictured) Over all a great experience! Will definitely dine in again!
google avatar

Sarah T.

Yelp
Ate at the Rutledge for a birthday dinner. Our waiter was great and the interior is very elegant. I had the burger for my entree and it really wasn't anything to rave about. Drinks were very cute and tasty, we also got chocolate cake with a sparkler for the birthday girl's dessert and our waiter was kind enough to light it when we were all ready to take pictures. The cake was very rich and delicious too! I probably wouldn't go back for dinner, but definitely would for drinks!
google avatar

Amber G.

Yelp
Our girl squad came here for a bachelorette party and fell in love with this place! The service is truly outstanding. We had one of the most thoughtful waiters that gave us such a good experience. The setting is very beautiful, but most importantly, the food was outstanding! Everyone couldn't stop raving about their food, I got a sushi roll with filet mignon. The soup is one of the best things that we ate while in Nashville, I know it sounds crazy, but seriously don't miss the opportunity to get it. And all of the cocktails are outstanding! If you're coming for a celebration, be sure to get the one that they light on fire because it's just so cool.
google avatar

Yelp
Sparklers in cocktails!! Full disclosure I was here in January for work and had a few gin martinis, so it's been a while and things might be slightly fuzzy. ;-) So here we go, first of all, I have no idea what the cocktail with the sparkler was. I didn't order it, a coworker did but it was totally fun! I stuck with my usual go to when out about and nothing on the liquor list I enjoy is either available or even on the list. Another note, because we were a crew of 20 or so, it took a while to get drinks. Not too unexpected and I think some of them ordered 2 drinks? or drinks every time a server came by? Anyway, we also ordered a slew of appetizers for the table...on our end (long ass table for our crew) was...um... - truffle parmesan fries. LOVE LOVE LOVE - spinach artichoke dip. Meh, of all the things this was the least touched - shrimp wontons. Unexpected! - tuna crips. Sushi Nachos, is what they felt like - lobster bites. You can rarely go wrong with lobster! As far as the entrees, lots of steaks were ordered, there was a chicken in there a well and multiple orders of the Tuscan Shrimp Pasta (which I ordered, extra spicy). Overall a delicious meal with excellent service. I wish I had pictures, but work event, and it was a long ass day.

Candace W.

Yelp
Came here with a large group and they did a great job at seating all of us (around 12 people) and giving us a good experience. The food was pretty decent, I had the salmon with a loaded baked potato. The sauce on the side was amazing and went perfectly with the entree. The salmon was perfectly cooked and soft to the fork. The grilled lemon on the side was a great touch! Personally, not the biggest fan of the potato which could've used more toppings for the size of the potato I was served. Also, portion sizes overall were a little small which is to be expected at a fancy restaurant. The food was decent, not bad but not a 5 star meal I'll dream of weeks later. My only complaint is that we ordered some desserts to-go and the way they served it was a little disappointing (I attached a picture of the apple crumble to-go for reference). Overall: good for big groups, okay food, don't get certain things to-go if you want it to look appetizing.

Yelp
Never coming back. I've been here abt two-three times and we enjoyed ourselves. But last night when it was my sisters birthday and the management was TERRIBLE. While we were drinking another server hit my sister on her head hard and he didn't even apologize. On her birthday too???! Then we took a picture with flash and someone came up to us telling us we cannot use flash. Mind you the two other times we have used flash a lot! And everyone around us was using flash, but when we were the only ones singled out it wasn't fair. When we brought it up to the manager he was faking his concern. He literally said he will speak to that server, but he rather didn't in the 30 mins after that conversation. Not only that but other employees didn't care about flashes, but they did when we had it. Please make it make sense. The Rutledge will not see any of our party anymore.

Yelp
We had a great first experience at the downtown Rutledge last night! The service was great and the atmosphere is cool. We sat upstairs and were surprised it wasn't very busy. Started with a few cocktails and some apps. The Lobster crostini was rich and delicious and the charcuterie board was huge, you definitely get your moneys worth. For dinner I had the Mahi and my husband had the ribeye. Both were also large portions - in fact we brought a lot home for lunch today. My friend had sushi and the rolls were giant. All and all a great value for the money. I didn't love the $25 hold PER PERSON to make a reservation, but I'm local and don't blow off dinners like I'm sure tourists do. I will say though, it did make me think twice before booking. We would come back, the bar was beautiful, love to see it more crowded.

Yelp
Moet champagne served from a vending machine ?! Say no more.... . I saw this on social media and thought I be extra and try it. . So I got seated at the bar, ordered me the moet. They gave me a gold coin, when ever I'm ready I go to the vending machine to retrieve the Brut or rose. I chose Brut, and it was surprisingly good. It was a fun experience. Check out the fun reel sacfoodfromabove2. The bottle comes 25. Not bad cuz I did some quick research if you get it at bevmo it's about 20 bucks for a mini bottle too. . Food wise - I had the lobster bites served on a grilled toast. It was heaven for lobster lovers. I mean if your traveling and have some nice bubbles, treat yo self. Spoil yourself cuz no one will. It came presentable. Lobster was fresh. Generous portion of lobster served on top of toast. . Overall it is pricey for both items. But your in a fancy four seasons so what do you expect. There is a speak easy inside this place so fyi. I went around 4ish so I don't think it was open yet. Thanks for reading and have a bless yelptastic day!

Yelp
Food was pretty good, the tuna pressed sushi was probably the best here, it was delicious and different. I also ordered a French dip, not pictured that wasn't really good and cold unfortunately. They did take it off my bill though, i will give them that. The drinks weren't bad, but nothing super special I thought. Service was a 3/5 for me, when we got the bill for 12 of us we originally were told we could only do 4 different cards by the server and he wouldn't budge, just was rude to us a bit as well about it and another manager let us split it per couple. I did love the atmosphere and music, this plus is an upbeat place to go to before a night out

Yelp
The Rutledge is a cool place! My friends and I went for my friends birthday. The staff were all really nice and the vibe of the restaurant as a whole was pretty unique. I just wish there were more people in there at the time we ate because it felt very quiet and buttoned up. The food was really good and I wasn't sure what to expect from it but I was pretty surprised. We ordered for appetizers the tuna crisps, Santa monica sushi roll and the skillet cornbread. The tuna crisps were great and fresh. The cornbread unfortunately was burnt black at the bottom but the waiter put another one in for us and it was cooked right. And the sushi was awesome! One of the best rolls I've ever had and it was a simple california roll with seared salmon on top. I loved it! For my entree I got the prime rib and baked potato. The potato was basic and lacked a lot of flavor. I don't think they even seasoned the skin with any salt and the inside didn't have enough sour cream and butter. But my prime rib was delicious! Cooked just right and super tasty. My friends all got the spaghetti marinara (which was spicy, she said), cheese pizza and the ahi tuna and they were all pleased with their meals. All in all a solid meal!

Yelp
Horrible service, not only did I get told I couldn't order while seeing a couple who had fresh I drank drinks because they close at one however it was not 1. The for seasons front desk was rude I hate I waisted my time and good efforts to be disappointed

We love the ambiance. It was chic and modern. We went around 10pm on a Friday night and sat at the bar. They played techno music, not exactly my favorite. I was surprised it wasn't packed. Tommy was our bartender and server, he was very attentive. The special for the night was scallops with rice. I asked if there was a way I could substitute the rice and asparagus and he talked to the kitchen and they made it happen. I was very pleased with that. The mahi was just ok along with the brussels. Brussels were heavy on vinegar and the prunes of grapes in it wasnt our favorite. Cocktails were good but we ended up taking shots for the rest of the night. And I love the fact that they had a full bar. Will definitely be back.

Yelp
After an evening out at this establishment, BUYER BEWARE!! If you happen to have a server Stephen, simply watch out for the up charging that might ensue. We understand your want to make money, Stephen, but at what cost? Your integrity, your valueWhile taking orders...."Would you like an Angel's Envy old fashioned?" " Sure! " I'd say. Not realizing Stephen just put $42 on my tab. Coincidence? I think not! This occurred with each additional patron. (High priced spirit suggestion) with single drink every order. Just Beware!!

Yelp
I should have known to leave when I saw it was empty. Food overall was very mediocre - especially for the price. Drinks were good and some of them are fun - but also pretty expensive. If you want good food, just go next door to the actual four seasons restaurant Mimo. We went there the night before and wish we had gone back there instead.

Yelp
I was quite disappointed with the food quality of our dishes when we went there this past October. The hamburger was overcooked, the French fries were a little too salty. It felt like an off night for the restaurant. Their speakeasy bar needs work to create a better and cosier ambiance. The lighting in the lounge area was too harsh and music too loud so it does not justify the overprice but well-prepared cocktails. It is really too bad that the food and ambiance do not live up to expectation. Staff are professional and pleasant.

Yelp
The food, the ambiance, the customer service was fabulous. The food was a little bit on the expensensive side, however it was well worth it. I recommend!

Yelp
Visited for my daughter's 20th birthday and really enjoyed everything about the Rutledge! The ambiance, the food, the drinks, the service. All on point. For apps, we had the truffle fries, spinach dip, and ahi tuna. Tried the sushi rolls, steak, pasta and Ahi tuna for dinner. Everyone enjoyed their meals. We will be back!

Yelp
This restaurant is amazeballs! What a cool place to enter - shiny and pretty lights everywhere! I ate upstairs, but the bar downstairs looked so cool! Great service, great menu, great food, and did I say great service? I will definitely be back soon!!

Yelp
I came into the Rutledge hoping for a nice dinner during my girls trip. We were a group of 10 and had an 8pm reservation. We arrived at 7:57 pm and weren't seated until 8:20. We didn't think this was a big deal and proceeded to try to enjoy our night. The service was beyond subpar. The food and drinks took forever to arrive to our table. Both the appetizers and main courses weren't brought out in a timely manner/at the same time. Half of the group would have meals in front of them and we were left waiting for the rest of the food to come out so everyone can eat. It's clear that the system that the kitchen and waitstaff have are extremely inefficient. Although this sounds bad enough the night got even worse. Two people in our party ordered the same cut of steak cooked medium rare. One steak came out completely raw and the other one was medium well. The steaks also looked like completely different cuts. We ordered 3 orders of cornbread and each order was inconsistent - the color of the cornbreads ranged from lightly baked to charcoal. We told the manger our concerns and he said "thank you for your feedback, I'll go look into this and come back to you". The manager never came back to our table! When I went for a restroom break I saw him laughing and chatting with staff, he clearly did not care one bit about our negative experience. My group and I were shocked that he completely disregarded us. I'd say the service and food inconsistencies were on par with a McDonalds drive through. If you're looking for fine dining, this is not the place to go in Nashville. I've never felt so undervalued and unappreciated as a customer at a restaurant as I did tonight and will never be back here.

Yelp
The food was stellar, and came out hastily. Every bite was absolutely amazing and I'm ready to come back for more. The drinks were even better then the food, and they tasted out of this world. I had the smoke & spice which was a spicy drink with a hint of lemon. Then we also had the cowgirl Casanova and the espresso martini. Which both prevailed my expectations. If you're looking for a restaurant with stellar food and even more delicious drinks, then the Rutledge is the place. My waiter was Steven and he was such a delight to be with. He was so helpful and so kind

Yelp
Beware Went here for my daughter's 21 birthday. Party of 15 The waiter comes out and tells us how great the chef was. How all the food was top of the line. Choice meat, gulf stream shrimp. He lied. Pizza came out ice cold. Hamburger and steak was supposed to be cooked medium rare came out well done. Wanted to remake the burger, I told them no. Remade it anyway and charged me even though I didn't even touch the burger. Oh well, live and learn Never going back

Yelp
Great alternative to Crème Brûlée; generous portion... Wish I had known about the cost of their parking garage...

Yelp
This downtown restaurant is a must. It is near the amphitheater with view of the walking bridge. I was especially impressed by the neon lighting throughout the restaurant, white leather chairs, and dangling crystal chandelier. The restaurant was extremely busy with a long wait time, but we were able to ask to sit near the bar and order food and drinks. Our meals were flavorful, as well as the drinks. We did sit comfortably at the bar tables and enjoyed a few drinks while waiting for our meals.

Yelp
Went on a date night with my Fiancé at The Rutledge! Our experience was great! The atmosphere was relaxing and up scale. Our favorite piece of food we ordered was the Lobster Bites appetizer! We enjoyed every single bite of our dinner! The staff was very nice and polite. Can't wait to be back!

Yelp
I have been twice. Both with large groups of people. It always takes 2-3 hrs to dine at this place. Very trendy the food was expensive and regular. I loved the lobster bisque and truffle fries the most. Alot of places to take cute pics. 1 shot of Tequila was $25 the service was regular and took a long time. I parked at the 4 seasons valet and walked down the street for $35. They do give a discount on a parking garage but it wasnt worth the walk. This was a place where you should dress up to dine

Yelp
The Rutledge was AMAZING. The ambiance, the drinks, the food...everything was beautiful and romantic. I was so impressed with the quality of the food--from the appetizer all the way to the dessert. The lobster mac and cheese was 5 out of 5 stars and I talked about that and the prime rib ALL night. The service was also fantastic. My only complaint is there wasn't anything complimentary for my birthday and I came from Florida to Tennessee. So that would have been nice.

Yelp
Beautiful restaurant. The food and service were fantastic and the lobster Mac is a must. Will definitely be coming back.
