Looking for a great bourbon based cocktail in the Georgetown/DC area....look no further!(2017) I’ve returned for business again this year and the Rye Bar has not let me down! The cocktail menu is always creative and tasteful, it includes the classics as well(2018). Pictured is the Very Old Fashioned, taken in Fall 2017 and again in Fall 2018 but try the Sazerac as well!

Beautiful! Excellent cocktails and wine selection. Great intimate bar to really enjoy company. There's a roof bar (which I didn't see, next time) and late night eating. My favorite spot in DC thus far.

Walked by here early Christmas morning and loved the atmosphere. The doormen were inviting and asked us to come in and take a look. I was immediately sold by the ambiance and came back for mimosas later. The drinks were great and the service was nice. My only comment would be for the cost of drinks I would assume that the bartender would be more attentive.

The Rye Bar in the Rosewood Hotel is lovely. It is set in the heart of Georgetown right on the canal. It is well appointed with luxurious highback leather chairs and gorgeous lighting. They also offer outdoor seating. It's a lovely oasis in Georgetown, with good drinks and good service.

To be honest I was expecting more. It's a nice bar in a nice hotel in Georgetown and you totally could have high expectations....but when you order a drink like Daiquiri with a nice rum and you are getting some sort of drink in a highball on the rocks.. and at the end you are finding out that it was a drink with Papa's Pilar (which is not for Daiquiri) and at least triple the price of Daiquiri in Floridita... sorry. I won't call it a good cocktail place. Find a good bartender or if you don't know ask me :)

Staff was friendly and Customer service was great. Nice atmosphere and very clean wash room. I recommend the old fashioned.

Great menu with entertaining and creative mixologist! Ask about their Bourbon Barrel Manhattan! Don't miss out on the cheese plate, lots of variety, to die for really. The honey was amazing. Enjoyable good vibe located on ground floor.
