The Salty Donut

Got half a dozen to share with my roomies. The donuts looked amazing, with so many interesting flavors to choose from. Vu was super helpful and kind, making sure we picked the best ones. Would definitely come back to grab a donut and study there!

If you like donuts that are a little more cakey, this is the place to go. We tried all the speciality donuts and the best ones was definitely the maple twist and pistachio cannoli. Also, Vu was super helpful with describing the flavors of each donuts! Def a must try.

Isaac at The Salty Donut in Atlanta was incredible. It was freezing and the wind was ripping, so he saved my life from it and he took care of us like family. He made me a hot coffee and gave me the BEST gluten-free donut I’ve ever had. Top -tier service. We’ll be back because of him. 💛

One of the best donut places in ATL by far. The barista is very nice, the environment and the shop is clean and welcoming, and the donuts are also very good, my favorite being the Boston Kreme. I would also give the new pistachio drink that's for the spring season a try as it tastes very good as well as any of the lattes there. 10/10, a place I would go frequently as someone that lives around the Interlock area.

It was my first time visiting, and I was truly impressed by Vu’s dedication to excellent customer service. He went out of his way to accommodate me even though the store was closed, which I really appreciated. On top of that, the gluten-free chocolate donut was a total hit, fresh, and absolutely delicious! Don’t walk but run to grab one of these amazingly fresh, yummy donuts!

I’ve always loved Salty Donut, but today was the best Salty Donut experience I’ve ever had! First and foremost was Vu! He was kind, patient, and knowledgeable and really helped us work through the donut that best suited our tastes (thanks for the pistachio recommendation!). Second, We tried 4 donuts and a few donut holes and we were blown away. Get the Pistachio and Banoffee! 10/10 will come back to this location on Vu’s service alone.

Vu and Issac did an outstanding job! They were professional, friendly, and made sure my order was delivered quickly and smoothly. Great experience all around!

I ordered a Samoa cookie donut. The topping was good and reminded me of the Girl Scout cookie. The donut itself was dry and chewy. I’m assuming it wasn’t freshly baked. I parked in the garage next door. There’s plenty of parking and they validate it. You don’t need a ticket, just scan the QR code.

We stopped here about 4 hours past opening, so they didn't have their full selection out. Nonetheless, all the remaining flavors still sounded so good! We ordered the Mixed Berry Cheesecake donut, and AM I IMPRESSED? This was one of the best donuts I've ever had. There was a cheesecake filling that was divine. They're pretentious-like donuts, but I'm here for it. We also ordered the Maple and Brown Sugar Cold Brew and an Iced Caramel Latte. The cold brew was so good, I loved the flavors! The Salty has a few other locations across the states, so I hope to visit another one soon!

Finally got to try The Salty Donut. They do validate parking if you park in the parking garage. Beautiful, clean cafe and convenient if you want to get some work done while enjoying a treat. The lady was in the back when I walked in but that gave me time to look at their donut selection. When she came out from the back, I was immediately greeted. I chose the brown butter and salt donut, the strawberry shortcake donut and a cinnamon cereal milk latte. The strawberry shortcake was my fav! It was soo good and creamy! I love that they have a variety of donuts and even donut holes. I enjoyed my visit and will definitely be back.

It's safe to say my tastes buds were more than satisfied at the Salty Donut. The young man behind the counter was very kind and patient, since it took awhile for us to order...they were so many delicious options it was so hard to choose! We finally landed on the tiramisu, mixed berry cheesecake, chocolate cake, and the brown sugar peach cobbler. I mean...it was all just so good and so fresh. I love tiramisu, but the chocolate cake is definitely a flavor I will order again. It was just the right amount of chocolate and glaze combined. It was super cute in there too, and they have outlets (always a plus for me) if you want to bring your laptop. We also ordered the vanilla bean latte with oat milk, which was tasty, I didn't have to add too much to it.

I visited this location to buy a donut. I like The Salty Donut because they offer a variety of donuts including seasonal and vegan. All the donuts I have tried have been good. The vegan peanut butter and jelly was one of my favorites. There is outdoor and indoor seating. The store had a few customers on a Sunday morning when I visited and there was only one employee working that day so the wait was a little long. There is metered street parking.

I will never not recommend The Salty Donut! Brown Butter & Salt donut foreverrrrr! The shops are always cute and vibey, staff is always kind, donuts always delicious. You just can't ever go wrong.

The barista Austin was very inviting & warm when I came in. Space: Bright & airy with plenty of chargers. Quiet when I came in. People bring in non service dogs which isn't on the business but one of my eatery pet peeves I got : Oat milk vanilla bean iced latte, parmesan garlic roll, strawberry shortcake donut, and lemon ricotta donut. 3 pastries, coffee and tip came out to $26.83. The Strawberry Shortcake was dense, filled with a yummy strawberry cream. Lemon ricotta was filled with cream as well. Bright flavor. The parmesan garlic roll was by far my favorite. It reminded me of a cheesy pizza stick and was sooooo good warmed up. A mini verson of these would be fire. Parking next door is validated.

Heard about their coffee a lot, so made my way and tried the latte, coldbrew and Matcha latte. The latte was good but the Matcha, I would not order it again here. That can be skipped. Cold brew coffee was decent but found the brand a little overpriced. They have a variety of donuts to choose from. The ambiance was classic cafe vibes. They also validate the parking tickets for upto 1 hour because it's hard to find s street side parking here.

Been wanting to try Salty for awhile. There was a girl working by herself on a slow Monday afternoon & she didn't really acknowledge my friend and I for awhile. I think she may have been new. She made drinks for awhile before helping us and also packaged a to go order. Not sure the order of service there, but it seems a little backwards. I went with a Cherry pie pop tart and a white chocolate chai donut. To drink I got the cinnamon cereal milk latte. The pop tart was delicious! Sweet outside, tart inside, and buttery crust. The donut was heavenly but a little too sweet with the additional chai cream on the inside. The cereal milk latte had good flavor but it was a little too thick for me in texture. I would go to another location to try more for sure!

Wow. This donut was super good. Don't be worried about the name, perfect combo of salt and sweet with a little extra salt. Everything seems so good but Bria (cashier) helped me make my decision. She was so sweet and personable and didn't make me feel bad about my cheat treat. It's a nice date first spot, pretty quiet, very clean, outside and inside seating with a view of the street. Definitely recommend, Definitely will be back.

I'm so happy that they brought The Salty Donut to West Midtown! Usually when I come in, it's pretty quiet. I would say there is consistent foot traffic that orders and takes out, but never a long line. I'm sure that will change eventually. I've been to the location in Buckhead a few times, but I really like this store better. Staff is always nice and attentive. During my most recent visit, I ordered the Vanilla Bean latte iced and shared two donuts with my hubby: Cookie Monster and Strawberries & Cream. The Strawberries & Cream is my favorite! It's light, fluffy, not too sweet, and full of flavor! I really hope they don't take this one off the menu anytime soon. The Cookie Monster wasn't bad, just not my cup of tea. I think for people who love cookie dough would like this one. Their drinks are ALWAYS on point. I may argue that at times, they outshine the donuts.

I was very excited when this location opened up as i had been previously driving to the Buckhead location for my donut fix. This location does not disappoint! Very friendly staff always willing to give their advice on their favorite donut flavors. Pretty quick service and usually low wait times during the week. Very clean overall, very minimalist type decor. The space is a bit small overall so can feel a bit crowded if several people are picking up orders and seats are taken. Also, up in probably need to go before 3pm on any given day , especially on the weekend , or order for pickup if you want to get your pick of flavors as some sell out pretty early on in the day. I wanted to try some of the seasonal fall flavors so just for the pumpkin pie cake donut (yum!) and the gingerbread French toast donut. I've had several of the other regular flavors in the past that have all been great. The pumpkin pie donut was delicious ! It literally tastes like pumpkin pie in donut form , just the right amount of spice but not overpowering , very soft with that signature hint of salt flavor to balance it that their donuts are known for. I would definitely recommend this one. The gingerbread French toast donut was good but i would say if you don't like bread pudding you will not like the filling in this one. I do enjoy bread pudding so i liked the donut , i think a bit more texturized filling (maybe adding some buttercream to firm it up, may have helped but overall good donut. The ginger flavor comes through nicely. Overall two great flavors but if you can only pick one I'd say go for the pumpkin pie cake donut you won't be disappointed.

Sydney or Cydne the barista was very bright and sweet upon walking in! She was attentive and quick... for some reason the card reader wasn't working and she blessed me with my coffee anyways! Sweet human!!

My favorite place to go! Safe is friendly, coffee amazing, donuts as delicious! It's the perfect addition to the West Midtown area.

Incredible donuts!! Came on opening weekend and was one of the first 50 people and received a cute tote bag. The entrance is at the bottom of the Star Metals apartment complex on the Brady Ave side. If you utilize the parking garage right next to the entrance, take your ticket and Salty Donut will validate parking for 1 hour. They have a ton of donut and coffee options to choose from. I have tried the brown butter salt and the chocolate glazed chocolate brioche donuts, and both are delicious! This is a great addition to West Midtown.

Their grand opening is this coming Friday. All the staff was super nice. Street parking out from but they also validate the lot for an hour. There are a few tables inside. Their donuts are so good always! Excited for the opening.

Had the strawberry shortcake and original glazed. The donuts were really thick and felt like cake. Couldn't even finish the glazed because it was dry and thick. I like my donuts moist. Definitely overpriced and underdelivered. Also make a regular cinnamon sugar ughhh hate when I have to settle. But sublime is much better in my opinion . O

Well, put together love the store. The donuts are great. Coffee is delicious. Will be coming back.

The coffee is so good but these donuts?! On another level! They are so delish! I can't wait to try all the flavors especially as the seasons change they add new flavor combos and it always works! If you arrive too late in the day there will most likely be nothing left. The place is small but roomy, they have tables, chairs and booths, very cozy inside. They are a little pricey though so the checkout price might shock some ppl. Also, I did not care for the vegan chocolate donut, definitely not for me but if that's your thing then enjoy!

Good donuts bad service and chill vibes. I have been twice. Both times the donuts were out of this world. And both times they messed up my coffee order. The first time I ordered a double shot espresso and it was ice cold. I don't know how but it was. I ordered it hot. Second time I ordered a latte straight up with 2% milk. They put a bunch of chocolate and vanilla syrup in it. They were slow. Two customers in the shop. Two people working. Both times my order could not have been more straight forward. $32.36 (with tip) for two donuts and two latte. We wont be back.

I love this place, I would toggle between Krog or Buckhead for the family's Sunday sweets day but this location is literally walking distance from where we are. Christiana was so patient and informative. And that new chocolate donut? Absolutely to die for! Super clean, will be back!

Great donuts, gives a warm homemade feeling. The flavors to choose from are vast and it all tastes great. You can't go wrong with trying this donut shop. The coffee is amazing as well.

Oh my! The collab kolache with Fox Bros BBQ is out of this world delicious. This new location in Midtown is perfectly situated and offers the cozy and inviting atmosphere that The Salty is known to curate. Great spot to catch up with friends or coworkers for coffee or grab some goods to take home! The staff is friendly and the donuts and coffee are the best in town hands down. Super excited for this location to be nearby!

probably the worst matcha i've ever had. it was very bitter, watered down, and had a horrible texture. the donut i got was good but nothing crazy impressive. service was good though.

I purchased donuts to take home and share. We really enjoyed them. Particularly the White Chocolate Chai. The in-store experience needs some attention. I was in the store between 3:30 and 4:30PM on 2/24. With only 3 customers in the store, of the 5 employees behind the counter - none of them said hello, or asked if I had questions about the food or coffee options. Three of the 5 employees stood behind the coffee machine enjoying a convo among themselves. One stood alone behind the donut case... yawning (I know, that was funny. A donut sugar-crash?). The person behind the register was friendly. I pointed at several items - they packaged them up for me - I paid and I was on my way.

Nice environment! I got my order quick and easily! The staff was also very attentive and friendly!

the donuts were very good but wish they were warm. i got the cereal latte but it just tasted like a normal latte. lovely place with nice interior and clean bathroom. the workers were very friendly. i would come again!

We tried food from here for the first time. The restaurant itself is very cute. It's a bit hard to see from the road. It's around the side of the building. They packaged the food very nicely. We tried the bbq and Mac n cheese brioche rolls. They were delicious but the filling seemed a bit lacking for me for the price. I couldn't really see the Mac n cheese. They could've filled them 2x more filling and I would've been happier. We tried the oreo donut holes, maple twist donut and the cherry filling pop tart. The cherry filled pop tart was AMAZING! I'd definitely order that again if I was in the area!
