On the Grid : The Salusbury Wine Store

"This independent wine merchant and deli endeavours to serve quality and authentic wines to the local community. With relationships with great winemakers all over the world, you will find fine and rare wines, beers, whiskies, spirits, cheeses, charcuterie and antipasti. Sandwiched between The Sulusbury Pub and The Salusbury Food Store, the Winestore was the last to open, with a vision to focus totally on wine by local food and beverage experts." - Effection

We went for wine and nibbles here last night for the first time, we got a table outside as it was a warm summers evening. The service was great, you can buy a bottle of wine from the store inside and pay £8 extra to drink it outside. We shared a few different plates of cheese and snacks and french sausage, the giant olives were the best olives I have ever tasted in my life. Lovely ambience on the street #summervibes

Cute little spot for cheese and wine with a great wine selection. Service was super slow and quite pricey for what we got.

Wide selection of wines available. After visiting a few times, I have found that the experience greatly differs depending on the staff. Some of the staff are super friendly and passionate about wine; others really couldn't care less about wine or your experience - especially when consuming in the bar. The cozy bar at the back is nice for a glass alongside a nibble from their bar menu, but given such varied experiences recently I won't be making an effort to come back.

Awesome place . Every time different selection of vine on the menu . You can buy your fav bottle and drink it out side tables , they actually have menu and all the goodies comes from the local Italian store. So I think you understand quality I’m talking about also they are dog friendly xx

I stop by here at least 1-2x a month for a bottle of wine. Great displays and friendly service each time!

Decent selection of craft beers which is what I was after this visit. Very quiet on a Saturday afternoon. Plenty of wines and snacks, will try next time.

I am really not a fan of this wine shop I am afraid. I have been in quite a lot and bought a decent amount from them. The issue is not the selection which is decent, albeit priced a little on the punchy side. But I have always found the staff so disinterested. There seems to be a lack of passion for wine (or customer service) amongst the staff and on the few occasions i have asked for advice it felt forced and unenthusiastic. In the end I stopped asking, and eventually I just stopped going. There are far better wine shops nearby where the staff really care and are passionate about their wine.

A hidden gem in Queens Park. Beautiful selection of fine wines combined with the warmest and welcoming team in London.

Yelp
Solid little shop. Mostly a wine store, and the beer range isn't massive, but they do get some really nice beers, including one-off specials from Beavertown. There is a good range of other London breweries, too. Service is good, prices are average. There aren't many beer shops in this part of town, so if you happen to be in the area this is your best bet.
