I have been here three times now and I plan to come more often for sure. The food is great, prices are great, I like the music, and there’s not too much more to ask for from an awesome local food truck. There are a bunch of salsas, onions, parsley, cucumbers, and more that you can help yourself to and it’s close to home with that authentic Mexican flavor. I ordered 5 tacos and debated getting more haha Great spot, check them out!

Google
the tacos are kinda chewy, the tortillas are hard and undercooked, and the horchata is not good. however, the prices are reasonable and tacos adobados are flavorful.

My fiance took me to this place because I wanted the best tacos she’s ever had. This place nails it! Amazing prices, lots of fresh and sizzling meat choices, unlimited self serve toppings and veggies and salsas, and exceptional service. They grilled extra onions for us without us asking because they noticed we were devouring it quickly. We got one of each taco, only one we wouldn’t get again is the fried pork skin because it was a little too fatty for our taste buds but still good if that’s what you like. Would love to come here again when I’m in San Diego

Google
Great food. Funky down to earth atmosphere. Service is sometimes a little lacking. But it’s a good truck open late that serves really good pastor and tripa. All good 👍

Google
The only local place that makes tacos de cabeza! Very tasty!

So Good! The food here was delicious. I had the fish tacos, King California Burrito, and the shrimp and oyster cocktail, . They gave a delicious soup while waiting for order to be ready. The food was fresh and so good! Worth the visit.

I got my go-to tacos: carne asada and adobada. The asada were ok but the adobada had a lot of fat peices and weren't very good. Their salsas could use some flavor. The prices were good. The ambiance is nice with seating, lights and music, at least on the weekend.

Google
this place is so delicious. prices went up a little but still not as bad as other places. open late and everyone is so kind. only downside is I wished that had sides like beans or rice :( hopefully someday

Yelp
Super clean, fast service, takes card, has limited (3 table 2 seats/table) seating and parking. Tacos are around 2.99+ tax paid around $20 for 4 tacos and 1 mulita (mini quesadilla). Everything but the pastor is made in the truck and its super popular among locals. They were nice enough to cover the tacos in foil to keep them warm when we went to find the bathroom real quick (paying only) The tripas taco is the best I've had. Slight crisp with some gumminess, it's quite clean and not heavy, perfect with onion and cilantro. Their red sauce is quite spicy btw, so don't pour it over your taco. The pastor didn't feel heavy but was oily and the meat was tender too with adequate flavor, not salty or too seasoned. They were both seasoned but not heavy on the stomach. And best of all, corn tortillas!! The mulita was on the oily side, had a little bit of a crust but definitely will make you food coma. No cheese stretch. Overall, great taco place :) not too heavy. (Disclaimer: not experienced in tacos)

Yelp
Hard to complain about this spot. Good salsa, good food, and unlimited salsa bar with unlimited toppings. They have a large variety. My go to is the cabeza. So tender and cooked well. Al Pastor is great Chorizo with cheese is tasty. Overall amazing place.

Yelp
My husband and I were driving down Linda vista to look for food to eat since I'm pregnant and nothing at home is satisfying:) we saw the arrow with lights flashing and then the green LED lights on the truck. We then decided to make a U turn and see what the truck offered for food. Immediately upon arrival there was parking and when we stepped out of the car the Hispanic music was comforting and a vibe. The guy manning the truck was very friendly and the tacos were amazing!!! As you can see in the pics they are NOT at all stingy the meat to tortilla ratio was perfection and even without the dressings on it(I.e. the onions, cilantro and salsa) it was still super tasty. Each taco is $2.79 which anywhere else it's like $6 a taco. Dare I say even better than Tacos El Gordo there's also a nice Hispanic bakery next door which will have treats to satisfy a sweet tooth after bomb savory tacos!!10/10 recommend this spot!!!! We will be back next week :)

Yelp
I can't get over how affordable the tacos are. The prices are great! Not the best tacos I've had but they will do the trick if you're craving some tacos. Self serve topping bar is a nice touch! Plenty of seating. Their birria taco isn't anything special so I will say the birria taco truck across the lot is much better.

Yelp
If you're looking for some true "street tacos", this is the Taco Truck look up and visit.. I was sad when I went back a second time and they were out of carne asada.. I wasn't too much of a fan of the Birria tacos .. Al pastor was good but nothing like the carne asada.. they do run out so make sure you don't go too late. They have a bakery next door which is good too. We were hungry after going to Sea World all day and these tacos hit the stop. Parking sucks though, you can try to eat there but they're so hot that if you take them to go and you're staying like 15-20 mins away, they're still good and warm. Service was good too, friendly. It's those hidden gems that are amazing!!

Yelp
Was recommended this taco truck from word of a friend and decided to try it! The truck is located in a church parking lot and you can park alongside the curb. I ordered two asadas, two pastor, two chorizo, and a campechano mulitas. There's all the garnish and sauces to choose from for your food and outside seating with tables. I LOVED everything I ordered. The campechano mulitas was my favorite! So cheesy and they put a lot of meat. Highly recommend! My friends and I could not wait to eat and ate our takeout order there. I would definitely be back again for their amazing tacos!

Yelp
I've been passing by this taco truck for awhile now and just haven't had a chance to stop. Today, being Taco Tuesday, I happened to be in the area and made a specific time to stop. So glad I did. I pulled up and met Hugo and Sun. These brothers were starting to clean up for the night but invited me up to place an order. Their menu was simple: nine different tacos and two types of drinks. I ordered 2 asada, 2 adobada and 2 Birria. There was a selection of salsas available as well as quartered limes, diced onions and chopped cilantro all self serve right in front of the windows. The order came out quickly and I couldn't wait to dig in. The tacos were simple, tortilla and meat. But for $2/ taco I'm not complaining. You can add as much onion and or cilantro that you'd like. Salsas too! Great flavor in each bite. For the cost and flavor of their tacos, I'll be back! Keep on Yelp'n!

Yelp
So fire... First time and this taco truck is authentic as it gets... the cabeza and al pastor was to DIE for... I'd literally go to hell and back just to be rewarded with a mulita or taco from this truck... the meats were so well cooked and had so much flavor, I could really tell they used QUALITY meats... I wish I took pics to show you all how FUCKIN DELICIOUS THESE WERE!!! I'm now worried I'm going to gain back the 40 lbs I lost before the summer started back since I just moved into an apartment about a block away from where they set up shop... I've lived in San Diego all my life and truly know what good mexican is and I can assure you, you will not be disappointed

Yelp
Best tacos! I moved from the Central Valley to SD and left my heart with the taco trucks out there. My best friends introduced me to this truck this summer and it transported me back home. Incredible meat, incredible toppings, incredible flavors. I've never been so happy. Authentic and juicy. The carne asada, Adobada, and mulitas are my fave items. Not a fan of the chicken but anything beef and pork are bomb. Plus they invite the pan truck over for fresh pan in all flavors. Bomb!

Yelp
The truck is located in The American Legion Post 731 parking lot. The tacos here are amazing. I've gotten every taco so far and all of them are so flavorful and delicious. Their red taco sauce hits the spot every time and their limes are fresh and not at all yellow like other places. A bad lime can really ruin a taco for me. The people working are always so kind and so welcoming and never have a bad attitude. I want to keep them a secret but they deserve all the 5 star reviews they get.

Yelp
Delicious! There is so much flavor in these tacos and the prices aren't bad. I was in Heaven with the salsa bar and hot Cheetos!

Yelp
Some of the best tacos in San Diego. Each bite is better than the last. A great place for a late night meal

Yelp
Only place I like to get tacos. Great flavor and best salsa you'll find. There is no other place I've been able to find that has the same quality. They also opened up a small little bakery inside and an area you can sit. I have yet to try the pastries. But I can tell you the tacos are the best.

Alyssa D.

Yelp
Birria was good. Service is fast and easy! I also got a agua fresca that was refreshing!

Yelp
If you're used to TJ style taco trucks like what's offered in the Central Valley, these will do it for you. We moved here 8 years ago and have tried every authentic taco spot throughout the county. Hands down the best tacos in San Diego! Our fat asses go here once a week. We always get pollo, cabeza, and pastor. Mulitas are super cheesy. They don't skimp on the meat. All of the sides are stocked but the best salsa is the red one. Great prices and friendly service too!
