This katsu sando spot is delicious! As noted, it's part of a ghost kitchen set-up in a fairly odd location- there's no eating there and not really anywhere to eat outside. So I took it home. Luckily, their food is packed well to travel and it all stayed warm on the drive home. Love that.
Tried to spicy chicken sandwich on ciabatta, pork katsu sandwich , fries, and corn. I like the ciabatta as it separates these from many other sandwiches out there. It's hard enough to not fall apart, but soft and chewy as well. Really good. Both sandwiches have roasted cherry tomatoes on them which I loved, and again...this sets them apart. It adds some texture, juiciness, and sweet flavor. The chicken was my favorite- really big piece of fried chicken with great crunch and juicy inside. The spice snuck up on me a bit, and I liked the heat level. Sauce is the perfect honey mustard. The pork katsu was not as crispy as the chicken, but still really tasty. Fries are solid. The corn is really delicious with great seasoning. It's served like little "riblets" with some of the cob still attached so it's fun finger food.
Overall, very tasty meal. Check this spot out and enjoy!
