A must experience. I came back again because of work and said that I needed to come and try another sandwich. Everyone with me enjoyed their sandwich. I ordered a pastrami melt and the sandwich did not disappoint. The pastrami was cooked and seasoned just right. The bread was toasted like a patty melt should. There was a mix of salty and sweet taste from the pickle. If you’re in the area, this place is it for sandwiches. Make this place one of your choices when you’re in the area.

Haven't found a spot I like better than this place. The location is not in the most desirable spot, but it's definitely worth a stop. I cant pick a favorite because every time I try a new one it's just as good as the last. The owner Nadine also makes a Hawaiian hamburger that's just heaven. Turkey avocado bacon, yum. Banhmi better than any I have tried in the Vietnamese shops. The best Ruben I have ever had as well. Yummy potato salad or macaroni salad made there daily and a fresh cookie with each sandwich.

This is a small family run business and they pour their heart into this place. The sandwich I ordered (The Italian) was made with care and love. Every ingredient was well balanced and the presentation was gorgeous. From the second I entered the place to the second I left I was treated with the kindest respect and smiles. What lovely people. The food was delicious, the cookie was one of the best I’ve ever had and there was something special about the sparkling strawberry lemonade. I highly recommend this location and I know if I’m ever in the area again I’ll make it a point to come spoil myself with this gem. Thank you guys, much love.

This is my third or fourth time coming here and I have never been disappointed. They have a great selection or hot and cold sandwich options and several different sides to choose from. Portions are also solid. The cookies are probably my favorite thing though - fresh and delicious.

I came here since I needed to get some food for lunch. I have passed this place many times since I go to Kaiser nearby. It was my first time going and I got a pesto chicken sandwich and I got a cookie with it. I tried the sample of their cinnamon roll and I had to buy it after I had the sandwich. It was very delicious. Would definitely come back and recommend this place. The people are kind. They had a variety of sandwiches and sides.

Found this place passing through. Sandwich was delicious. My buddy got their Italian sub and enjoyed it also. I got the shaken steak sandwich. Meat was delicious and sandwich had good flavor. Not sure if it’s to go as well but I noticed everyone dining also got a delicious peanut butter oatmeal cookie. Service was great. Kept coming by to ask if we needed anything and checked to see if we liked the sandwiches and what we thought. The bread was delicious as well. Inside the restaurant was clean. Definitely would go back if I was in the area.

Came here for a breakfast burrito after climbing with a friend and was absolutely blown away. I got the chorizo burrito and I’m already thinking of excuses to go back and get another one. We also got the Vietnamese coffee and split a cinnamon roll, both of which were amazing. The service was also great, the lady at the register was incredibly sweet. Were so happy we found this spot

I'm a California kid, but... This is hands down the BEST cheesesteak sandwich I've ever had! The roll was toasty but didn't bite back the way some rolls do. The steak was perfectly seasoned and cooked. The red onions and bell peppers were exactly the right consistency. The cheese was perfectly gooey and stringy. So good! Partner had a turkey Sandi on a roll. Insider tip... get the roll toasted! So much better! Will definitely be back for this hot gooey wonderullness!

My bestie and I have come here multiple times now and we always DEVOUR our food because it's SO good The chicken Caesar salad wrap is delicious!! The chicken is yummy, the salad crunchy, and it's wrapped in a solid tortilla that holds everything well The Society Burrito was nice and dense with deliciousness. All the flavors balanced out together and was so filling. AND THE COOKIES???? Home made and scrumptious! I'm gonna be honest, we've come here before just for the cookies! We got about 90% done with our food before we remembered to take a photo lol I know we'll be back again soon, so maybe we'll remember to take better photos next time!

Super cute and quaint hole-in-the-wall mom n pop shop. Serving up sandwiches n extra with that warm comforting parental smile. My favorite special is their shaken beef, which is basically bo luc lac salad in a banh mi. Very great for hitting your protein goals Lee's Sandwiches could never come up with that. But today I got their tomato soup and mac salad, my favorite overall items, both of which are the most seasoned n flavorful tomato soup and mac salad I EVER had. Real homemade type shit supermarkets who? Once I was done with my meal I was warmed up ready to take on the day and fight evil

Great service and great food! The Cali chopped cheese was a little greasy but you're getting what you ordered so I thought it was still yummy. We loved the bread and each sandwich came with a cookie!

This place has been on my list for a long time and glad I finally tried it. Even with so much anticipation, it did not disappoint. We ordered online and food was ready when I got there. Staff was friendly and the space is good for a casual lunch. I took my order to go and split the Bahn mi and pastrami melt with a friend. Both were delicious. We got the Bahn mi with a garlic aoli which paired nicely. Will be back to try the other menu items!

Found my new favorite sandwich spot ! Tried the Hawaiian and the braised pork . Both were so good ! I want to go back to try more because even the potato salad and Carmel coffee was good. I left and still thinking about going back already

I love love sandwiches. So, I saw the great reviews and decided to order from here. I got the Turkey avocado bacon on sourdough and my friend got the tunacado on toasted sourdough. Both were amazing sandwiches. My turkey was packed and the bread was soft. The tuna was perfect and the bread was toasted to perfection. Love hearing that crunch. This place definitely worth the hype. This is going to me my spot whenever I'm in town.

Wowwwwwwwwww, the garlic steak sandwich is insane (and how amazing that they give cookies on the side? Solid perk): it was saucy and savory and delicious. My friend and I were very impressed- we also love that they have green Thai tea drinks! My favorite (and so rare). The service was simple, but everyone was so lovely and nice. The ambiance is easygoing and you order via a kiosk. Parking's not bad (and I went on a Saturday!)

wow highly impressed with the sandwiches we tried and the exceptional service! We orderedthe turkey sandwich, which had very simple ingredients but was packed with flavor. So fresh and delicious. The shaken steak garlic sandwich was also full of flavor, the beef came in steak bites, which was a little different, but I really enjoyed it overall. Customer service was top-tier. Since it was my first time, the older lady who took my order was super informative, gave great recommendations, and was happy to answer all my questions. I ended up trying everything she suggested, and nothing disappointed. She was really attentive with me and my friends, checking in on us throughout the meal. The macaroni salad was also really tasty, fresh ingredients with a nice crunchy texture. Honestly one of the better macaroni salads I've had. The place itself was very clean, well-lit, and seemed to get busy during lunch with a lot of pickup orders. I'll definitely be back to try more of their sandwiches!

What a diff 3 years made. came for late lunch. ordered fm their kiosk. had to wait a bit but it was worth it. next time it would be easier to order online first. I just ordered their braised pork belly sandwich. it didn't look too big but size of the sandwich was deceiving bcos it might not be long, it was wide. the pork belly was tender but a tad salty. they offset that w lots of pickled red cabbage n onion. the bread (French roll) was not tough to chew so it was good. it was delicious.

I absolutely love this place! I've tried a few of their sandwhiches now, the ultimate patty melt, chicken-cado, the cubano, and the chicken pesto, and all have been so good and tasty! I'm not the biggest eater so their sandwiches are two meals for me which is really worth it considering the price ranges from $12-17. And it always comes cut in half which makes things easier for me! Each sandwich has a thoughtful ratio of meats, cheeses, and sauces. The sourdough bread is made well and toasted perfectly. The owner and workers are always super nice. I usually order online and come to pick up on store. My order is always done by the time I come and packaged neatly in a bag or a box if I do a bigger order. They also add in house made cookies to every order. If you haven't tried this place yet this is your sign to go! Trust, you won't be disappointed :)

Wow, what a surprise! We thought Sandwich Society was going to be American sandwiches, but what a surprise to see it being operated by a Vietnamese family. Their take on the Banh mi was delicious, though one could say it's overpriced for a "Banh mi". The thit nuong with lemongrass was great. We also got the CA chopped cheese, which comes with hot Cheetos on top. It was a little heavy for my liking but still good nonetheless. They also give a free cookie with each sandwich. The workers are super nice and welcoming. The area is a bit sketch but as long as you don't bother them, they won't bother you. We will definitely be back to try their other sandwiches.

I came over here early in the am. Was just looking for places to have some breakfast. And this was close to my dr appt and on my way home. Will say sketchy things parking lot but don't let it fool you all. The lady here is nice and I had a while Convo with her :))). She was nice and drilled my burrito request. The inside there is plenty of seating. Not sure if they have a restroom for costumers but clean and open as well. You can see them cooking as well. Society Burrito 100/10 I got it without potatoes and extra veggies!!! Was sooooo gooooooddddd!!!!! Very cheesy and good amount of food!!! Viet Coffee 10/10 I love how strong it is. I also love that it wasn't too sweet either. As I'm drinking it I can taste the aroma. Very good for those who like viet coffee I saw their menu and saw they have shaken beef and I'm gonna come again to try more food!!!! Overall you all should come and support!!!!

I've written a review about this location before and it remains the same. I ordered the avocado bacon tomato sandwich lightly toasted on sourdough bread and with garlic mayo. It hit the spot! The empires there are always friendly and very efficient in getting the orders done. I ordered on their walk up kiosk and it was really easy to use. The establishment is always clean and smells delicious.

Unlike any sandwich I've ever had!!! So delicious!!! Located in a random plaza in Santa Ana but so worth the drive. Ended up ordering online to pick up but from what I could tell, service was friendly and ambiance wasn't bad. We ordered a Vietnamese coffee, braised pork belly sandwich, and chicken cado sandwich. Chicken cado- 5/5 so delicious!! I ordered this but my husband also enjoyed mine more than his! Absolutely would order this again. Braised PB- 5/5 SO FLAVORFUL. Only downside is how heavy it is, but you really can't deny the flavor. Viet coffee- 5/5 so strong and very tasty. They were also very sweet to give us two complimentary freshly baked cookies as dessert. I believe it was an oatmeal and chocolate chip. The oatmeal was sooo yummy. We will be back!

Tried some other sandwiches from here today. Shaken beef sandwich: (5/5) This one was delicious! Very good flavor and tender meat. Yum Chicken pesto: (3.5/5) The bread was toasted perfectly, but the pesto was missing something. Not my favorite sandwich. Pork belly sandwich: (4.5/5) This was is great portion size and very tasty!

WoW!!!!!!!!! Very delicious!!!!!! The store was very clean and their kitchen was clean! The Service was great and they were very fast! We ordered Garlic shaken steak!! Quality meat! It's worth every penny we spent! We enjoyed good food. Definitely we'll go back to this place. It was our first time and happy to find this place! There is also parking outside!

I tried Sandwich Society recently and was pleasantly surprised--these are some pretty solid sandwiches! They're perfect to bring on a beach trip! The ingredients tasted super fresh, and everything felt thoughtfully put together. One minor downside: the bread was a little on the tough and chewy side for my taste. I really wish they offered Dutch crunch as an option--it would take the sandwiches to the next level. Customer service was excellent. I ordered through the app, and the whole process was quick and easy. My meal even came with a cookie, which was a nice bonus! Also, shoutout to their green Thai tea--it was absolutely delicious and a great pairing with the meal.

A great company for catered orders. They have many delicious sandwiches to choose from, such as Italian, Turkey Bacon Avocado, BLT, Chicken-Cado, Tuna, and Veggie. They make pretty good chocolate cookies too. They're thin, super soft, and doughy. Always a good option for yourself, or for the group.

5 stars for the hot pastrami! I usually don't order sandwiches but was pleasantly surprised by how good this sandwich was! It was loaded with hot pastrami, had a good Cole slaw and some pickled dressing. Would go back and try the other sandwiches. Location is sandwiched in a tiny corner lot between some other restaurants, parking can be tight.

Saturday lunch, located in an older strip mall. Few tables inside but it wasn't busy at all. Ordered the club sandwich and Cali chop cheese. Club is pretty generic with the standard meats, nothing to rave about. Cali chop cheese was on nice French roll, crispy outside fluffy soft inside. Meat was ground beef mixed with chorizo which gives it most of the flavor. Cheese sauce with spicy Cheetos. A little greasy. Overall an okay sandwich spot, I don't think i would go out of my way to get a sandwich here but fine if you are in the area. They come and try to sell you their cinnamon rolls after the fact, odd.

Had the grilled cheese sandwich with the tomato bisque soup. Absolutely delicious. The lady who was behind the counter was super nice and I now regret not coming here for so long. Everything here looks good. I'm coming back again.

Summary: Worthy to try for hot sandwiches and Vietnamese Coffee Surprise that I haven't already written a review for this place. It's a must try. First time I got to try was when it was brought home to me while I was working. It was so good that it made me forget what I was working on. Then I went to the location 3 more times and here I am writing this review. They are known for other sandwiches but what I love is their philly cheese sandwich. The cheese is melted and has the gooey stretchy quality that I love. The sandwich just works especially when you enjoy it fresh and hot. That would my recommendation is to try it at the store. Also got to try potatoes salad and it even comes with a cookie. Warning their Vietnamese coffee is legit, just be careful otherwise you might not be able to sleep at night from the high caffeine. What I love is that it is a local business and you can tell a family runs the business. I would also suggest to order online or at the kiosk once you get there. Though you can also order at the counter if its your first time so that that the staff can help you decide what to try first. The only negative is that their hours is limited that they close early and not open on Sundays. So plan accordingly if you plan. to visit.

Let me just say this is another hole in a wall worth going to. We came in around 11am not knowing they no longer offer breakfast burritos but they were so considerate and very friendly that they still made us breakfast burritos. The Food was DELICIOUS! We got the chorizo breakfast burritos; very tasty and not salty at all. The sauce they gave was pretty big as well; but I'm a sauce girly so I always ask for extra. Definitely coming back!

This place was highly rated on Yelp and close to the hospital my sister delivered her baby. We decided to eat lunch and order her and hubby a sandwich to go. We all enjoyed our sandwiches! I tried the macaroni salad as my side and it was good just a bit too much relish for me. The Vietnamese coffee was yummy! You also get a cookie with your sandwich which is a sweet awesome touch!

Just echoing one of the reviews said, "I love the f--king sandwich." This place is right off the 103C exit of I-5 freeway. Very easy to get to. Owners are super nice. Did you know the bake this own cookies? A small touch like this makes this place worth your visit.

I didn't have crazy expectations of this place when I picked up my phone to order DoorDash for a sandwich. Just wanting my belly full. I ordered the Cubano. Ok, it said this was their #1 choice of customers. But seriously, c'mon...how great could it be? I mean, it's just a sandwich, right? NO! ABSOLUTELY NOT! IT'S NOT JUST A SANDWICH! It's nirvana packaged with French Bread! It's all the best cuban music ever created, wrapped up into one song, played by beautiful, scantilly-clad cuban ladies, winking at me and giggling as I eat!! It's as if my mouth took an all-expenses-paid, no expense spared trip to Cuba, and won their lottery. It's literally AMAZING. How do I describe this sandwich to you, where you'll understand? The pork is juicy, tender and flavorful, which in and of itself is quite the feat. Pair that with pickles and a sauce that are the perfect accoutrement, then add in the French Roll that's the epitome of "super fresh, but with a little al dente bite to it". I've had so many sandwiches throughout my "I'm not a kid" life, it's like a sea of mediocre. Then this Cubano comes along and knocks me upside the head and reminds me how great it is to be alive and have a mouth and stomach. I got this from DoorDash yesterday, and literally thought about this sandwich for 24 hours until I could DRIVE to the location and order it again. Don't worry about the location, the parking or the small sq. footage. Just run, don't walk to The Sandwich Society. Thank you, Sandwich Society, for making my life significantly better.

If there is ever a society I want to be part of, it would be The Sandwich Society. Literally, I am not kidding, but they have the best kind of sandwiches out there. Dear dudes and dudettes, the incredible Chef cracked the code. Your first bite, literally melts, your brains away in this irresistible, freshly cooked tuna and melted cheese, oof, I die and died. Service is great, the staff are nice. The interior reminded me, that it is really about the food, and it's one of those places which I will never forget. :) LOVED IT.

The best pastrami sandwich I have had in ages. I wish I lived closer, but will definitely go out of my way to come back. Nice people, spectacular sandwiches!

Finally made it to this place. Was very easy to order , the order came very fast but the presentation was phenomenal. Can't wait to try more sandwiches. The food and drinks we had was very good, perfect portions big sandwich. The place is very small in a busy shopping center with plenty of parking.

I ordered a Bahn Mi based on another reviewer's suggestion. My sandwich was ready in less than 10 minutes, and it was totally worth the wait. The sandwich looks amazing. Nothing really stands out as being the best, since all the ingredients are great. The bread is soft with just the right amount of crunch on the crust, and the veggies are super fresh. This is one of the best Bahn Mi's I've ever had, and I'd definitely order it again.

First time coming here! They were so kind and and accomadating. Got here past 11am and they stop making breakfast burritos at 11am. They were accomodating enough to make us breakfast burritos and they were sooooo delicious. Definitely check this place out! P.S., Thank you Mom!

Hello YUMMY sandwiches!! If you're a fellow sandwich lover, this is a must visit. Had their version of a Cubano and I may have had the whole thing in one serving. Oh and make it a combo, they have the good chips.

Mmm I love a good hole in the wall sandwich place!! So surprised by the experience despite the shady neighborhood that this restaurant is nestled in. Don't let the outside fool you! It's run/owned by kind Vietnamese mom and pop owners. We loved how big the sandwiches came out, especially for the price! We ordered online the Cali chopped cheese and the banh mi. When we got there, it was ready for pick up! We ate in store and there was a constant flow of people. It's nicely decorated inside with white subway tiles and the loveliest gesture is that they give each sandwich order a cookie!! I personally really liked the chopped cheese more than the banh mi but it really depends what you're in the mood for. The chopped cheese was more on the heavy side but what I was wanting after a good pickleball session. The banh mi was light and refreshing and great for someone who's not looking for something too oily but more healthy. We'd love to go back and try the shaken beef next time!

Food was absolutely delicious, I almost forgot to let my camera eat. The lady working the grill was so sweet and so efficient. I need to keep coming back to this little shop. It wasn't super busy, but it was towards the last hour of service.

The Sandwich Society is a wonderful spot! No matter if you're vegetarian or looking for steak, they have a lot of made to order items that will keep you coming back. I tried the ramen grilled cheese today, it was delicious but it has corn, spice and a kimchi like veggie in it so if those are not what you crave it may not be a good fit. They use top of the line ingredients and it shows, the food is delicious. My daughter got the shaken steak sandwich and my brother got the grilled cheese plus we got the cookies made in house, everything was outstanding and we will be back! Thank you for such wonderful food and affordable prices.

I love this place!!! The staff is so sweet. I trust her with my life. If you come here you have to try their dessert. The cookies are my favorite thing in the world now. The lady told me to try their cinnamon roll and wow was she right. It was so soft and perfectly sweet. The icing was so bomb too. My sandwich was the chickencado. (One they only sell in store) it was so good!! The bread was perfectly crispy. Everything was so fresh. My gf got the shaken steak one and the meat was so good omg like super moist and soft. 1000/10

Delicious and fresh. I ordered the Shaken Garlic Steak from the kiosk. With tax and no tip I paid $17.50 for what I see as a $10 sandwich. Lots of flavor, little meat, at a premium price. It was 90+degrees in the dining area.

It's all about fantastic sandwiches here! Lack luster service and ambiance, but this place deserves it's 5 stars. It's all about flavor, quality, the right combinations, and taste! I definitely recommend the Banh Mi sandwhich. Crispy baquet, grilled pork, and picled vegetables with the perfect balance of seasonings. The Italian sub is absolutely delicious and the quality definitely shines through.
