The Sandy Cove Hotel

We booked two nights originally as we were attending a wedding. It was so good we booked a third night. The accommodation, staff, food, sitting areas on the deck were perfect. The views just incredible. My only tiny tip to the hotel would be to remember to clear away the empty glasses from the sofa seating areas outside. Don’t hesitate to stay at this beautiful hotel. The same goes if you are thinking of getting married here. We had the perfect stay.

Being a local executive driver and dropping off passengers to Sandy cove, I thought after hearing great things i would take the good lady for an evening away from the hustle and bustle.|We had a warm welcome from Barry, a very warm and welcoming presence. And showed us to our room. We booked a luxury room with sea views. The views are fantastic and we sat out until midnight watching boats and kayakers pass by. The venue has had alot of upgrades since my last visit 10 years ago. And the work has truly made this venue very attractive indeed. The roll top bath easily fits two people which is a nice romantic touch.A good option of lighting, the towels and condiments presented nicely.The room was very clean and I look forward to revisiting to see the beach access to the private beach. We are considering having a wedding renewal here in the future.so yes its a good review from us at Luxe. The hotel is doing well from its food, location, ambiance etc and i can clearly see that every staff member is an asset to its success. So well done to all members from house keeping to front of house, and from the head chef to the waitresses/waiters.|The grounds too are well kept and apparent that a lot of care has been put into the general first impressions. Currently there is some work on new projects happening around, but honestly its kept tidy away from the public and not an issue what so ever. I like the design of the living roofs on the new buildings which keeps the place focused on the main building and its beautiful restaurant. The good lady and myself have had an amazing time at this peaceful venue. Really Happy to leave this 5 star review.

Lovely place! Celebrated my aunties wedding here and it was beautiful! Staff were lovely! Especially Ryan (barman) and Sam (Reception staff?) very helpful and friendly. I wasn’t well and Sam offered me salt water and was very kind. Night porters were also very nice and helpful! 10/10 would recommend again!

We returned after 3 years for a celebration meal and weren't disappointed. The view is always fabulous and the food good. However what a difference!!! Absolutely amazing food, a seamlessly run kitchen and exceptionally attentive staff, with the cool, collected and very personable Lisa at the helm. It really did make our experience extra special. I can definitely see a major improvement on 3 years ago on all levels. A great team! Will definitely be back!

Lovely hotel with the most incredible views. We were lucky enough to be upgraded to a sea view room for our 1 night stay here in June. The view from the room around the headland and bay were amazing and really made our trip. We sat outside on the terrace for our lovely breakfast. The food was really delicious with a wide range of foods to choose from. |Staff were all very friendly and polite. |The bed was super comfy and the room was spacious with a nice bath inside the bathroom. |We had a wonderful stay here and the beautiful views over the sea really make this hotel special.

Great hotel, brilliant staff including Ashley and reception. Our room was the best and view out of this world! .Restaurant was immaculate food very tasty and reasonably priced. Only slight issue was sauna and steam room after numerous wedding parties but really no big deal. This was our 40th wedding anniversary and we had a wonderful time! Please don't out price yourselves by going too up market

We recently eloped at Sandy Cove, and we honestly couldn't have asked for a more perfect wedding experience! We tied the knot on 11th June and from start to finish, both my husband and I had the most incredible time. Every single member of staff was amazing – so genuinely helpful, friendly, and kind. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and made sure we had everything we needed. A special, heartfelt shout-out must go to our wonderful wedding coordinator, Sammie, who was just brilliant. She looked after us all day and made everything ran smoothly. Our room was unreal, but the view... wow. It was breathtaking. Photos honestly don't do it justice; you have to see it to fully appreciate it. By the end of our stay, we genuinely didn't want to leave! Sandy Cove provided the perfect backdrop for our elopement, and we'll cherish the memories forever. A big thank you to everyone who made our time there so special. Highly, highly recommend!

We had an amazing experience at the Sandy Cove hotel, after having been let down by hoseasons for family accommodation. Sandy Cove were super helpful when we were searching and ringing round hotels, they rang us back quickly and offered a last minute room even with having it upgraded and an extra bed made for our daughter. Sam who works there went above and beyond for us and was so thoughtful and kind. We ended up extending our stay after we initially thought our holiday was ruined. Breakfast was amazing each day and we had a lovely evening meal in the restaurant too, the views are breathtaking it was lovely for our daughter to wake up each morning with that extraordinary view. The location is brilliant for exploring the many local beaches. All the staff we encountered were super friendly and just outstanding with their customer service. We are so grateful, thank you!
