The Sanford House Inn & Spa

I booked a client dinner for forty people at The Sanford House and was extremely pleased with the atmosphere and service, the quality of the food and the prices. Nick, the Catering Manager was very easy to work with and accommodated our requests and changes with a smile. The location was beautiful and a nice change from a typical restaurant event. I highly recommend the Sanford House for any catered event, especially if you want to have an upscale but relaxed gathering.

We enjoyed our stay here. We stayed in the Beethoven room. It was bigger than expected from the photos. The staff was amazing. We took advantage of their shuttle to the event and Van the man (the driver) was a hoot. $20 per person both ways, cheaper than a Uber and way more fun. Free parking at the hotel. The beds were comfy, the hotel was quite, the location was great, breakfast was good, price was right. Cookies upon arrival. Coffee and popcorn in the room. Microwave and community fridge in the foyer. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful place. The grounds were beautiful. Our room was comfy and cozy. We had the 2 bedroom 2 bath unit. Perfect. Breakfast was absolutely delicious. I couldn't have asked for a better weekend celebrating with my best friend of 50 years. Our stay was perfect.

My husband and I were looking for a luxury hotel and stumbled on to their website. They have spoiled me. Their large cottages are amazing. Private, secure, luxury. They offer complimentary breakfast (which will fill you up for most of the day), free secured parking for cottages and villas, and all the amenities you would expect in a luxury stay. If you looking for a place to stay in Arlington....no matter the event, this is the place to book.

The food here is ALWAYS delicious. Service here is top notch and honestly the prices aren’t bad. I wish I could eat here everyday. It’s become tradition to celebrate our birthdays here. Sarah was so welcoming and made our celebration special. Our server was amazing. She made sure we had everything we needed and could possibly want. Best place to eat in Arlington.

We stayed in the Riviera Cottage and absolutely loved it! Such a relaxing stay. The hotel is beautiful, and the cottages are top notch. All reasonably priced as well. We will absolutely be back and highly recommend to anyone looking for a get away. Thank you!

We visited Arlington for the first time to attend a wedding. My wife found the Sanford House Inn. What a great place! Built in 1998 with an 1880s look to the main building. Beautiful large rooms. Restaurant 506, offering wonderful food. To a person, the staff is the nicest I can remember - helpful, happy, caring for their guests. The executive chef comes out to visit your table and ask if you like your order. And we did like our orders! Pretty close to AT&T Stadium, if you're going to a Cowboys game. You will enjoy your stay. We sure did!

Quiet, quant spot for breakfast, lunch or brunch. Elegant Victorian style home transformed into a wonderful Bed& Breakfast. Which includes a fabulous salon and spa on the adjacent corner.

But once you find it, you'll want to keep coming back. The food is top-notch. Every dish we tried was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. You can tell that genuine care goes into the menu and execution; everything was on point. The service was equally impressive, prompt, pleasant, and professional without being overbearing. The staff helped make the whole experience feel seamless and comfortable. And the ambiance? Quiet, serene, and relaxing. Whether celebrating something special or just wanting a peaceful meal in a beautiful setting, this place delivers. I highly recommend it for a refined yet relaxed dining experience. I met a few of my business associates for dinner, I started with the house soup of the day, chicken tortillas soup, followed up the blacken salmon and finished with bread pudding. The soup was rich and thick, I really enjoyed the soup. The salmon was cooked perfectly and tasted great. It came with rice and vegetables. The bread pudding was like it was made by my great grandmother absolutely wonderful!

Wow, what an incredible visit to Sanford House. Sanford House is stunning in every detail. Since it was the holidays, Sanford House was decorated in a spectacular way. There were holiday decorations everywhere we looked. For my wife's birthday, we decided to dine at Restaurant 506 for brunch. We figured on a weekday and early it wasn't going to be crowded. Boy were we wrong, around 30 minutes after we arrived, the restaurant was almost full. I am so glad we had reservations. From the time we arrived until we left, service was top-notch and so professional. My wife is a loved of chicken salad so of course she ordered the chicken salad sandwich accompanied with house-made potato chips. I ordered the chicken flautas. The menu description sounded really good. After a nice wait where we could take in all the beauty around us, our entrees were delivered to our table. Each of our entrees were almost works of art. My wife said her chicken salad sandwich was one of the best she's ever had. On to my chicken flauta platter. As a true lover of TexMex food, deep down inside, I was kind of reluctant to order flautas at a non-TexMex establishment. Was I surprised! The flautas were incredible. They were literally some of the most delicious I've ever eaten. Phenomenal! To finish off our delightful brunch experience at Restaurant 506, we ordered dessert, Crème brûlée & Egg Nog Bread Pudding. Wow, total perfection. I wish there was a way to give our visit 10 stars here on Yelp, but 5 is the best I can do. We will definitely head back to Sanford House real soon. Who knows we may book a weekend there in one of the cottages.

My experience is based off our Christmas event. And I was in awe of the beauty of The Sanford House. Our event was held outside in the courtyard and was decorated spectacularly for Christmas. The staff were all friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our visit! I have already recommended their BnB to my family coming in for Christmas.

I came here for our end of the year Yelp event. They definitely catered to us and were great hosts. We were in the huge outside pavilion area, and we also had a little room in the pavallion area that was heated. They also had heaters outside so that you could be toasty if you hung out in the pavilion. I appreciated that they had bathrooms outside and also inside the room by the pavilion. So that we were comfortable and didn't have to walk back to the hotel/restaurant area. In the room off the pavilion, had plenty of cookies, hot cocoa, and a few adult beverages. The staff was super friendly and made sure that we had everything that we needed. It was beautifully decorated, and Yelp brought Santa and an artist to do caricatures. I had lots of fun, and I was grateful I was able to bring my husband and daughter. The parking by the hotel/inn is very limited but they have parking across the street, so you just have to be aware that if the small parking is full you have to turn around to get to the parking lot across the street. As be careful, walking across the street because it can be busy.

Wonderful relaxing atmosphere away from the convention activities at our National meeting. A short Uber ride from all the activities to be in our private cottage. Can't beat it Staff is excellent in supporting activities and the surprise of have an outstanding restaurant on site is the added bonus. Not sure when our meeting will come back to Arlington but I'd definitely look to opportunity to return to the Sanford Inn!

I was impressed by this place from the moment I walked in the doors - literally. My husband and I reserved the Regency Cottage as we got an AMAZING deal and it was within walking distance of Arlington Stadium (we were there to see Beyonce and didn't want to deal with parking or driving back to Carrollton late at night). When you walk in there is a beautiful restaurant to the right and left of you and a lovely staircase. The person who checked us in was wonderfully pleasant and she told us they were offering a shuttle to and from the concert. She even said my brother and his girlfriend, who weren't staying at the hotel, could take the shuttle as well. The shuttle wasn't free but, OMG, what an amazing benefit for staying at the hotel! The Regency Cottage was gorgeous and more than I could have imagined. As soon as my husband and I walked in I told him we had to come back for a staycation. The cottage included a living area, a separate area with a daybed, desk and kitchenette (with utensils, coffee maker and even creamer and two water bottles in the refrigerator). There were also two cookies wrapped on a small plate on the desk which you could tell were homemade. My husband ended up eating them both so I can't speak on how they tasted (little stinker). There was a separate room where the king size bed was and through another doorway was a very LARGE bathroom with a soaking tub and two robes that were hung up. It also included a separate shower. The most impressive part of the Inn was by far the courtyard. It has a fountain, a couple of pergolas with shaded seating and tons of outside seating and tables around it. It was a perfect area to sit outside after dinner and enjoy an after dinner drink or a glass of wine. We will definitely be back and will be taking advantage of the included breakfast (served from 8:30 - 9:30am), the restaurant and the relaxing courtyard in the evening. The prices are so reasonable that if you are staying in the area you don't want to miss the experience of staying at this one-of-a-kind hotel!

Stanford House Inn is a cute little venue hidden in surprising area of Arlington. We visited during the holidays for an event and it was very well decorated. Santa and Mrs Clause had stopped by for a visit, there was someone doing caricatures, and the restaurant seemed to be busy! Our event was in a nice little location in the courtyard, which was wonderful for a small private event. I would for sure recommend it for a small party be it for a birthday, baby shower or graduation. The staff they had working the small bar inside that building were friendly and gave amazing suggestions. The only real complain I could even stretch out is parking, but that is due to it being more in a neighborhood. The inn itself only has a very small parking lot but the salon that they also own across the street makes up for it has plenty of parking.

What a beautiful place. The Sanford House Inn is a wonderful hotel, which expands to individual rental cottages, and delicious restaurant and bar. Valerie runs a tight ship filled with gorgeous decor and friendly faces. I'll be returning someday soon to test the supper menu.

I very much enjoyed my visit to The Sanford House. I attended a holiday gathering. The inn was very beautifully decorated. We enjoyed beverages from the bar and delicious cookies. The property also has several cottages and other guest accommodations as well as a spa. I definitely want to come back and visit the spa next time.

Such a darling little place! Walking on their middle ground patio I felt like I was in another county! So cute, forest like feel. Completely unique design and a great place to possibly do a small wedding ceremony at. I came today for a yelp event. They were taking donations for family's in need for the holidays. My reason I cannot give 5 stars is I never saw a room however everything else was quite adorable. My husband got a Bloody Mary and said it was one of the best he has had! I had a memosa, pretty standard in my opinion. Would have been nice for it to be garnished or have a fruit dropped in. My kids got to meet Santa. They had hot chocolate with all the toppings they could ask for. Thank you Yelp for my pie!!

Santa is town at Sanford!! Yelp Elite had a very special charity event here and we were very lucky to be put on Santa's list!! The venue (house) itself is gorgeous and the decorations were so festive and amazing. I'm in LOVE with their courtyard, even with the rainy weather, it was perfect as they have a lot of covered patios. Hubby and I had the Bloody Mary and Hibiscus Lemonade Mimosa. Delishhhhh....the bartender was great and I'm glad I took his recommendation on the Mimosa. Happy 10th Anniversary with this Adopt A Family event Yelp!! Great turnout and Kendall is fabulous as always!!

What a lovely venue | B&B | restaurant. The grounds are very pretty lots of seating outside the lighting is really pretty as well. although I didn't eat dinner in the restaurant We did have some samplings of beef skewers some type of mushroom puffs some very good cucumbers with smoked salmon and a tasty bread pudding for dessert I did see inside the actual restaurant and it looks beautiful with lots of antiques and old Victorian decor the area that is used for weddings or rentals is very functional with dining inside and out also a bar area for a bartender I look forward to coming back and actually eating in the restaurant or maybe even staying overnight in one of the rooms. Thank you yelp and the Sanford house for a beautiful evening celebrating fall, friends and fellow yelpers.

This is a beautifully appointed property. They have the inn, a gorgeous courtyard and the restaurant all there in close proximity with a spa across the street. The staff is courteous and just lovely really. It is idyllic at night with the twinkle lights and the small bites provided at the event I attended were delicious! This would be a perfect venue for a wedding or bridal shower. I would highly recommend stopping by and checking it out.

Beautiful property. Nice place for a special anniversary night or celebration dinners. Reminds me of an older home converted into an upscale but cozy restaurant with cut out dining rooms. It's a bit buttoned up so I would say attire is business casual. Friendly staff. I'm sure hosting an event here would be amazing with all the outdoor space.

I've been here before, but never got a chance to enjoy the food menu until this past Sunday. I've heard many great things about the menu and I am happy to announce that all the hype about the food hit the nail on the head. My sister and I arrived for brunch and were kindly greeted and seated at our table. Before I forget it is best to get a reservation since the restaurant does stay busy. I ordered the cranberry mimosa while my sister got the pineapple one. Maybe it's just me and my lack of experience with mimosas, but I have to say this was the BEST mimosas I've ever had. I ratios were spot on for us! We also tried the hibiscus lemonade mimosa, which is a must! Not sure if it is a seasonal item, but hopefully they have it when you go. Our server mentioned the soup of the day, chicken, and corn chowder. Even though were were there for brunch the soup sounded too hard to pass up and it didn't disappoint! Once again, it may be a seasonal menu item so hopefully, when you go it is still available. It was heaven on my tongue! Well into my second mimosa at this point, we received a bread basket and even the fucking bread was delicious. I can't explain how happy and overjoyed my mouth was so far into our experience. I landed on The Sanford meal and my sister got the Creole Biscuits and Gravy. Simple and yet so good! I do recommend getting the mimosa carafe. We didn't realize how many we had ordered in the end, but they were all well worth it and they were a good price. Please give this place a try! Don't forget to make a reservation. We will be back to try lunch or dinner next time and different cocktails.

Wow! What an amazing establishment! I feel like this is a hidden gem in Arlington! Michael the Bartender always takes care of me! So kind + attentive! I love that I can tell him what mood I'm in and he easily refers me to the right drink! All of the staff are very kind and I always feel welcome when I visit! I haven't tried the brunch yet but I've heard how amazing it is! I will be back and I can't wait! Make sure to check this place out!

I really thought I had reviewed the Sanford House! I am surprised to see I hadn't, because I love this place! The inn is adorable, the weekend brunch is amazing. Great mimosas! Awesome eggs benedict as well as other food choices. Bread pudding is great too, a good desert selection. Staff is super friendly and helpful. The inn is super clean, with a lot of parking across the street. I recently went to an event here they supported for helping kids in need with Christmas presents. Awesome place all around.

Such a cool venue!! Went the other day for an event and was so impressed by everything! They have a beautiful layout and all the details planned were perfect! I wish I remembered pictures but was having too much fun!

This property is beautiful and amazing for events. I really enjoyed the soiree I attending this evening. I the drinks and gourmet bites provided by the restaurant definitely makes me want to come back as just a regular restaurant. I could really come back to this gorgeous establishment.

Went recently for Sunday brunch with a family birthday group of 6 adults + 1 infant. Food was disappointingly average and somewhat pricey. Employees are very friendly and responsive. It was a nice day so we asked to be seated outside in the garden area. The grounds appeared to be well cared for and the front entrance parking is convenient. Nice venue for a small group event.

Very good service and food, my family and I enjoyed ourselves. Our waiter Michael did a great job and served laughs along with quick timely service. Highly recommend The Sanford House.

Kerry Pitcairn has been taking care of my face for almost 15 years. At 67, my skin looks better now than it did 30, 20 or even 10 years ago. Kerry works with me to select what I need on every visit. Her treatments always leave me with glowing, juicy and happy skin. Her technique is professional , and her list of service products is expansive enough that I don't get the same treatments everytime, unless I request it. The atmosphere at Sanford House is divine and luxurious. The staff always welcomes me by name and makes me feel welcome. Champagne cocktails are available before or after your treatment, as is lunch. Don't miss out on this Arlington gem. You won't regret it!!

Nope. Thermostat broke and 66 degrees all night. Horrid. Worst night sleep. To small to have hotel service levels and to big for the owner to be in a bed n breakfast. Place was nice beyond the experience. Lovely wedding was set up (not mine).
