The Scene in South Park

Great staff and atmosphere. The lighting and music in this place is perfect. It's a very chill place to hangout and get some work done. My only critique would be that the floor slopes significantly where the tables are set up and so that makes working a little awkward.

I haven’t tried the coffee here yet but, I had the BEST chai latte ever. Perfectly spiced, not too sweet, and HOT! Just the ticket for the cold, drippy day this was on. Friendly, clean, and cozy spot too. Can’t wait to go back for a coffee drink.

I came here and plugged in for a little bit on a Monday morning and it was mostly quiet. There's WiFi, a good amount of outlets, and a little bit of seating (not a huge place). My plain latte was a 10/10, so every espresso drink must be good based on that. They had a good little selection of sweet and savory pastries in the case. I had their veggie quiche, which was huge (bigger than any coffee shop quiche I've ever had, and not more expensive). It was baked to order, very satisfying, had a thick and rich crust, and decent flavors inside. I'd rate it 7/10. I'd be happy to come back, and this place definitely checks off the boxes for any coffee lover.

Small neighborhood coffee, with great atmosphere, and delicious coffee. We had a Machiatto and a Cappuccino. The surprise was this Rebels Base small area for kids (of younger ages, but heart warming for all of us). Good finding in South Park. Power and coffee for the people! 💪🏽

Wonderful service the owner is so nice. I got a cold brew coffee with oat milk it was perfect. The place is cute and we got to sit for a bit look at the art listen to good music and enjoy a calm welcoming vibe with good coffee. They also have delicious scented candles made by the owners friend. A place you must stop by!

Love this spot! I’m gluten free, and they have my favorite marionberry jam pastry. The music is subtle and lively. It has a great neighborhood feel!

Resistencia Coffee is a place where everyone feels genuinely welcome the moment they enters the shop. Faviola and Amber, the baristas who made me a great latte, are warm and friendly, they care about customers and make great efforts to bring a cup of nice coffee and a piece of joy to everyone, whether they are regulars, like many people who visited the shop while I was there, or me, a total stranger. The atmosphere was fantastic. Besides the standard coffee and tea menu, they also have some baked goods and sandwiches/wraps for a full breakfast. The shop has some indoor seatings, including a couple of comfortable couches and a children's corner, as well as a few small outdoor tables at the back. Resistencia supports local community and have lovely crafts for sale from local artists. It is a true neighborhood coffee shop that is rooted in the community and serves it with a big heart.

This place is simply outstanding!! From the staff, to the beautiful artwork, to the behind amazing matcha! The baristas have nailed their craft, I've never had a better matcha latte. It by no means taste like authentic Japanese ceremonial matcha but it is so delicious. A perfect balance of matcha to sweetness and they got my added lavender just right. My husband who doesn't like matcha also loves my drink. I can't say enough good things about this place, it is such a gem. They also have a parking lot right behind/next to it!

It's my new most favorite coffee place. They make it just like you want with high quality coffee. Would drive out of my way to get a cup of happiness. It's also a cool place to hang out and has a great vibe.

Great coffee, Great playlist, great seating, big windows letting the healing light in. A zen experience each time I visit here. A hidden gem in South Park you must visit. Delicious pastries and wraps too. Beautiful artwork as well. Super cute and charming inside.

Great spot for coffee, work, catchup or just to chill. Shop is small but doesn't feel it, interior isn't overcrowded with stuff or a million tables. The space is used well. Shop is clean. Service was super friendly and genuine. Really appreciated the baristas honesty. Ordered the seasonal cinna-latte with almond milk and no whipped cream, had there been a cinnamon roll in the display case, I wouldn't haven't gotten the drink but there wasn't one. The drink was sweet, not really a cinnamon roll-esque latte as advertised but more white chocolate mocha vibes. Also grabbed a raspberry vegan scone warmed and it was better than anticipated- soft and good chew. I don't typically enjoy Macrina Bakery but this was good. Ample parking on the street and a parking lot!

Have to say this spot is killin the game in every criteria. Staff: excellent, welcoming, knowledgeable, KIND (which lemme tell you, is extremely refreshing in this day and age). Coffee: I am a mint chocolate fanatic, and I have NEVER seen any other coffee shop offer a mint mocha, but using Andes mint chocolates. It was divine! Best colab in coffee yet! Scene: Cozy! The hubby and I sat on our two person couch and enjoyed the cultural art work, as well as the amazing choice of music. Lastly, the Cinnamon rolls...TO DIE FOR! You may look at them and think, that doesn't look like a cinnamon roll. But do not be deceived. It will blow your mind. Everything was delicious, and clearly made with love!

First time here, and it definitely won't be the last. The coffee shop is cute with lots of choices as far as food and coffee. What really stands out is the amazing customer service!

New go-to coffee shop! The drinks here were delicious. Two of us ordered ice French Lattes, and one of us ordered a Strawberry Mango Italian soda. This coffee was one of the best I've had in the whole city! Secondly, the atmosphere of the shop is phenomenal. Not only is the shop cozy & decorated with stunning artwork, but the staff are also super chill & make sure customers are enjoying themselves. Will definitely be returning!!!

I've been three times to The Scene and enjoyed their coffee and pastries each time. Loved the Andes Mint Mocha and the broccoli cheddar quiche. The tomato arugula croissant sandwich is also excellent and fresh. The staff and the owner (met him the first day I went there) were friendly, and the music was on point. I used to go to Resistencia (the former name) and enjoyed the atmosphere but not so much the coffee. I think The Scene improved the coffee at this spot. The decor has improved since my first visit. They now have more paintings and art in general, and feels cozier. Overall, The Scene is a great place to go if you want tasty coffee, delicious food, and excellent service. No complaints.

Amazing as always! The Best Iced Matcha with Vanilla in the world made by Jay. It truly was the most delightful Matcha I've ever had in the Matcha world. Thank You , so happy I could stop in today. Cheers!

I stopped here on a work trip last week, and it was fantastic!! :) As soon as I walked in, I was acknowledged and everyone working was very kind. I got a croissant and asked the barista to make me a coffee of her choice, and that was really good as well! I also liked how they had a big digital board with events happening in the community! I will definitely stop back in when I'm in town.

Love this new South Park gem!!! Beautiful shop. Friendly service and great coffee. Enjoyed the friendly banter and smiles from the staff. Michelle is the real deal, small business owner with vision and purpose. Let's all support this small business. We wish them many prosperous years at their new location.

This use to be Resistencia coffee, it will be missed! Under new ownership the Scene has repainted and changed the interior it has a very different vibe and different music. My coffee was good, the service was good and kindness surrounds. I gave it a four star because of the chemical air fresheners plugged in by my table and the new sterile environment. Just not vibing it now. I'll probably still go for a coffee now and then but won't hang out.

Friendly atmosphere, great service and our vanilla lattes were delicious (almond milk and oatmilk vanilla). We also had the pleasure of talking to one of the owners who was very nice. I highly recommend and we will definitely be back!.

All of the employees are kind, friendly, and good at what they do. The pastries and food were chosen with care.... It's all delicious. I love how they've chosen to use this space to highlight art and local products from the community.
