Google
Solid ice cream place. We usually get this delivered, but this was the first time I had it in person. I got a mini Four Horsemen. The ratio of toppings:ice cream was higher than I would’ve liked, but overall I enjoyed it.

I was so excited I finally got to try this place as I was passing by! I ordered their smallest mint chip with chocolate sprinkles. When I got about half way through my ice cream I noticed it changed color. Giving it the benefit of the doubt I figured this was a different batch without the green coloring because I’ve seen places do that- no worries. It was until I got a chunk of cookie dough and no mint flavor shortly after that it confirmed I was given half cookie dough 😕🙃 I understand mistakes happen but being $8 ice cream for a small and my first time it was a bit disappointing.

We were recommended Scoop N Scootery by a chef's wife who couldn't stop raving about their sundaes, and I have to admit, it was worth the trip. I'm not usually someone who craves ice cream, but my girlfriend is the opposite, so we had to check it out. The moment we walked in, Harry Potter was playing on the TV, setting a nostalgic and fun vibe right off the bat. We went for their “Gannondorf” sundae, and it was a showstopper—blueberry ice cream, a brownie base, blueberries, pie crust, and a mountain of whipped cream. It was indulgent, and the quality of the blueberries and toppings really stood out. We’ve already ordered it again because it was that good. They have an impressive lineup of ice cream and froyo flavors, plus even more tempting sundaes to choose from. My only wish is that they made the ice cream and toppings visible—being able to see what’s available always helps me get in the mood for a treat. The handwritten chalkboard menu is a bit hard to read and feels a bit overwhelming, especially with so many options. It’s a massive space with very little seating, most of which are bar tops. It would be nice to have some lower tables and create more of a community atmosphere. Also they’re somehow open till 1am so… go wild you night owls

Google
Worker was cool. Very generous with scoops. Vanilla ice cream rich and deep. Vanilla extract taste wasn't pronounced. On the lighter side. Strawberry cheesecake eh. Syrup too artifical. Bitter after taste. The after taste could be the real cheese cake. Not for me. Overall, it does the job.

Google
The place always busy every time I pass by. So decided to stop and check it out. There are a handful of flavors but tons of sundaes. If you want to visit better look up the menu before you get to the shop. It’s a bit overwhelming to read all the options right in front of the cashier. We ordered Oreo Mudslide, there were very generous with the toppings. There are different sizes we ordered a mini which is 12 oz cup. for $8.

Google
Great place, the ice cream shakes were pretty good. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and was kind enough to try the flavors with big try sizes. I would definitely come here again.

Google
New ice cream spot took over the previous frozen custard chain. Scoop N Scootery was known for their sundaes. Mini was already overfilled with toppings, great value. Ice cream itself was good and creamy. I got the Off Pudding, with black raspberry ice cream, banana, custard, and cookie crumbs. Very good. Unfortunately the man at the counter had the most miserable expression on his face, very unfriendly.

Google
Really good and fast service even though there were a lot of people. Super creative and delicious. Price was totally reasonable and they give a perfect portion. Very clean. No bathroom :(

Yelp
Stop in for first time Ordered a cup small to mid size German chocolate cake Was 6.00 and was about a pint of ice cream... wow Small was all I needed. Excellent ice cream, value and excellent variety of unusual flavors who won't see at other ice cream shops...

Yelp
Really cute ice cream spot! The menu is full of really cute names. When I was there, most of the Sundays I wanted were out of stock on one or more ingredients, a blessing in disguise for me since I don't like too sweet deserts and was more tempted by the cute names than anything else. The place over all is really cute. They had a ramp at the main entrance, and the decor is a mix of pop art and graffiti style art. Over all, really solid choice, a great location, yummy ice cream and super helpful staff.

Yelp
I've been to all 3 locations and they are all pretty much set up similar The one in Brighton i usually pull up street parking on the side, you walk in and pick up from the counter. Quick and easy. My usual order is the PB&B which is peanut butter sauce, Reese's cups, vanilla ice cream and bananas! Or I'll grab the PB Bomb. Now i must say lately we I've been liking their strawberry blonde! Strawberry cheesecake ice cream with red velvet core! their menu has pictures of each creation on their site You can also order ice cream for delivery as well not just pickup.

Michelle M.

Yelp
Well, as we saw this place was open while walking by, we decided to get ice cream in January...lol Had never been here before so didn't know what to expect. I'll admit the menu was a little confusing. It's below eye level on the front counter so it was a little hard to read. Plus it was written in all chalk by hand so parts were faded. I decided to get a cookie dough ice cream. Unfortunately they told me they only had cookie dough frozen yogurt, as depicted in the blue font. I missed this when looking at the menu as the word fro-yo is sideways and faded. But the nice lady ensured me it tasted like ice cream so I gave it a try. I ordered the smallest size they had, I think it's called a tiny for ~$5. The portion was a big scoop for $5 so that was pleasant. I am not a huge frozen yogurt person but it was pretty good. I wish they had cookie dough in ice cream form too as it's my favorite, but that's okay. Maybe they do during the summer, not sure. Next time I'd try one of their ice creams instead and possibly as a sundae as I later read on their website they have homemade whipped cream. Overall okay experience due to the menu confusion, but now that I've been once and know the deal, I'll be more prepared!

Yelp
The ice cream here I got delivered a few times , is delicious. However bc I got it delivered it was a bit pricey due to the delivery fees. The portion sizes are big . The service and vibe I don't know bc I got mine delivered. Dido about the parking . I can say the ice cream is delicious though .

Yelp
Came by here on a random weekday to find business slow but a few more patrons did come in after our group. I got to try a few of their options, the names escape me but they tasted pretty good! Staff were friendly and there is a lot to pick from. Establishment is relatively clean so I wouldn't mind coming again!

Beth P.

Yelp
Yummy ice cream and big portions. We are ours plain and even in a single size it was enough for two! we had German Chocolate Cake and Coffee ice cream with homemade whipped cream. Next time we will try one of the combinations and are sure they will be delicious!

Kristyn C.

Yelp
A really solid ice cream spot! I've been here on a few separate occasions and the ice cream always hits the spot. Both times, I've gotten the coffee oreo ice cream which is the perfect combination of coffee and cookies and cream ice cream (two of my favorites). The shop is always very clean and the service very prompt and efficient. My favorite part though is that the serving sizes are incredibly generous - I go with the smallest size, the tiny, and it's always enough to share between two people. If there were one suggestion I would offer, it would be to increase the number of available seats as there is currently seating on the perimeter of the parlor along the windows. I've been lucky enough to snag seats during off hours but can imagine that spots can get tight when it's busy. With that being said, I'll be sure to stop here for more ice cream the next time I get a craving.

Dannie W.

Yelp
Got the smallest size of Havana banana. Almost $9. Kind of expensive. It's very messy to eat. The banana, Nutella and crumbs keep falling down. The fro yo has a lot of chocolate chips. I like anything above the fro yo though. They have way too many options in their menu and it's hard to choose.

Lizzie Y.

Yelp
Can I just say, I love all of the Scoop N Scootery locations! I started having a craving for ice cream about a month ago and am so grateful that they open so late, since many ice cream places close on the earlier side. All of the locations are great and I totally recommend the mini combos because it lets you choose two of their signature sundaes and the size is perfect to satisfy ice cream craving. I always get the caramel cone crunch or the PB+B, with extra peanut butter sauce. Both are divine and are so delicious, especially when you have a late night craving for ice cream. I usually order online via their website and pick up is ready within 10 minutes of ordering! Super quick and convenient!

Eleanor B.

Yelp
I could never recommend the blackberry chocolate cookie flavor more. It is DELICIOUS and actually makes my mouth drool thinking about it. It pairs beautifully with hot fudge. However, I did get the whip cream and I was not too much of a fan for it. It is a bit different and not my cup of tea.... but that does NOT deter me from coming back for this wonderful flavor. Thinking I'll go back for round two tonight!

Hubert H.

Yelp
A more run-of-the-mill ice cream place that specializes in toppings and mixes and sundaes rather than on the ice cream itself. The mint chip ice cream had an okay flavor, with mint chips that were really thick and not thin or shaved as would be found in other places. The blueberry pie ice cream was unique, with bits of pie inside the ice cream. The cream itself wasn't as flavorful as it could be. The insides of the eatery could use some work - not many places to sit, an odor (that others have also reported on), and something of a messy interior. The signage could also use work.

Luis S.

Yelp
I did the skippy da do dae ! It was fire, they had one of the best brownies ive ever had, althought i wished it tasted more peanut butter instead of cookies and cream. My friend tried one with canollies and it was also fire. Overall pretty good sundays, pricey but worth it. The service was quick and pretty straightforward. The ambience was a little run down but it was ok just to grab and go

Christiane M.

Yelp
um this was absolutely delicious. $8ish but definitely more than one serving in the tiny size. so many options im amazed

Lynette K.

Yelp
Amazing ice-creams. Everyone loved them. We got crazy and ordered legendary portions but everyone had leftovers for some days!

Sydney M.

Yelp
I didn't think that I would find the best ice cream ever in Boston of all places. We ordered the Tasty (standard size) and were stunned by the size. Both were full to the top of the to-go lid with absolute deliciousness. Every ingredient tasted high quality. The menu is slightly overwhelming but I don't think you could go wrong with any choice. The staff quickly got my to-go order ready and kept it cold until I arrived. Will definitely be coming back!

Kai L.

Yelp
Overall: 9.25 Taste: 10/10 - I got the four horsemen and it was a flavor explosion in my mouth. Every bite tasted a bit different with all the different toppings and the richness of each ingredient. If you like strong flavors this is definitely the place for you. Price: 9/10 - The prices were reasonable for the amount of ice cream you'd get in each. They do throw you off a bit labeling their tiny as a pretty big cup that is plenty for a single person. Service: 9/10 - The staff were overall friendly and they all looked like college students who relatively enjoyed their job Ambiance: 9/10 - There was quite a bit of seating for an ice cream shop but was a little bit inconvenient that they don't have a usable bathroom for customers

Riley S.

Yelp
I did absolutely love my first time trying Scoop N Scooterty's ice cream! The sundae options are overwhelming, but in the best nature. The sizes are beyond massive, even the "tiny" isn't so tiny. We immediately dug in, so I forgot to take pictures, but that's just how great it was! I was really pleased that every bite had all of my toppings. It did seem misleading at first that they're all placed on top & think the end will be left out of all the toppings, but that wasn't the case. The only reason I am marking 3 starts is because I just wish there was a water cup station! Honestly, their ice cream is heavy to eat & I really was dying for a cup of water to wash each bite down. I will say, the staff was so incredible that Im sure if I asked, they would've gotten me some water. 100% will be back!

Lisa Y.

Yelp
I loved this place because I was able to make my dream ice cream with all the unique flavors and toppings. I have always wanted to make s'mores ice cream but with a chocolate base...and finally I could!

Andy D.

Yelp
It's all about the sundaes here. They take mix-ins and toppings to a whole new level (check out their website, it's bananas--literally & figuratively)! The trade-off with that, is that the ice cream itself is less varied, less nuanced, as it can't compete too much with the loads of stuff thrown in there (so lots of vanilla here)! It's definitely a fun experience, and the kids loved it, so even though the sundaes are $10 each, it's a great experience. We got 2 sundaes, regular size, each one easily fed two of us. Lauren & I shared the SKIPPY da do da Dae: Peanut butter oreo ice cream with a peanut butter filling topped with brownies, fudge, and chocolate flakes. The base is decent, although I wanted more of the taste the Oreo. The brownie chunks are very fudgey, good stuff, although too large and at times it was a bit too much brownie. The peanut butter filling though, was terrible, I don't know what happened, maybe it was old, it tasted off. Luckily, there wasn't much of it, sadly if it had been good it would have really taken this sundae over the top. out of five cones. Best paired with at least one friend and Cappadonna - Milk The Cow. The kids got The Garland: Campfire s'mores ice cream topped with marshmallow fluff, frosted rice crispy treats, doughy sugar cookie bites, fudge, graham crackers, and whipped cream. I LOVE s'mores, but I find that ice cream s'mores can't compete, it's just not the same without the fire melted goodness of warm marshmallows with burnt edges. This base, however, was pretty good, and I loved it with a graham cracker, some of the marshmallow fluff and fudge (and I think I got some rice crispy treats, a genius addition). I only sampled this one, but in later bites I got some of the sugar cookies (very cookie doughy), and oh my, SUGAR is an understatement, there were some bites that felt like eating a spoonful of pure sugar, too much sugar. I'd trade the sugar cookies for more rice crispy treats, but otherwise this was pretty good, and a half cones out of five. Best paired with a good tooth brushing and Def Leppard - Pour Some Sugar On Me.

Yelp
Delicious, FABULOUS ice cream. The foul smell was overwhelming though. What WAS that? Is it always like that? Was it related to the product? I have questions. And concerns. I ate my ice cream anyway, and I did not get sick.

Michael O.

Yelp
Milkshakes are probably the easiest markup at an icecream store, but the idea of an $8 dollar milkshake the size of a small iced coffee has to be the most appalling thing i've ever seen. Not to mention they give a straw that is double the size of the milkshake, almost to taunt you of the actual size it should be!

Gabe S.

Yelp
Lots of praise for their ownership and customer service. I won't bore you with the details, but I had an issue with an order and they were extremely responsive in not only correcting it, but making right on the situation. I was very thankful because they have the best ice cream sundaes in the Boston area. You can't go wrong with any of their signature sundaes. All the ingredients are great and top notch. My highest recommendation.

Issam H.

Yelp
By far the best ice cream I've ever had. There's so many options. Staff's friendly and the music was a vibe. Highly recommend.

Lori Y.

Yelp
Super delicious ice cream and the most fun, unique sundaes! I'm a chocolate fiend and was excited to try the demagorgon at the Brighton location right when they opened. It was so indulgent. Check out your neighborhood Scoop for a "treat yourself" moment... or two or three!

Steve L.

Yelp
Lots of different flavors, toppings, and sundaes here. Tried the Black Heart sundae and everything about it was really good -- the German chocolate cake ice cream, fudge, whipped cream, chocolate chips, and strawberries.

Vincent T.

Yelp
Very customizable Ice cream Tons of presets too! We got the thick mint with coffee toffee and regular cream whip Would recommend

K. P.

Yelp
These sundaes are dangerously delicious. I could eat one every day but I limit myself to once a week instead. All the baked goods added in as mix-ins taste fresh, the sauces are so flavorful and the right texture, and the portion sizes range from "just a taste" to "this will last me three days."

Nick M.

Yelp
Ayo, this icecream is so fire! The sundays are unbelievable, on god! Shoutout to scoop and scootery, gotta be my favorite ice cream spot, staff be mad chill in there as well! #SWAG low key almost hit my lil dance in their cuz that Smokey the bear Sunday was hitting different!

Patrick O.

Yelp
Expensive and poorly made. Really expensive and poorly made ice cream from an employee who rolled her eyes when we walked up bc apparently we interrupted her phone time. The ice cream did taste good, just not worth the money for the sloppy presentation and bad customer service.

Andrea K.

Yelp
So tasty and huge servings!! Wish toppings weren't as pricey but all taste really good.

Shanara M.

Yelp
I came here yesterday with friends at around 9 pm. The cashier was so funny and so helpful. The atmosphere was lovely and they gave us the option of dine in too. I apologize for not knowing his name, but the cashier who is probably mixed was so funny! Please give him and his coworker a pat on the back And about the ice cream, i ordered the garland (which was the cashier's favorite) and it was amazing! HUGE portions for a great price. The taste was amazing and not too sweet, and I still have left overs for another day!

Tianna S.

Yelp
Such thick, creamy ice cream with really inventive and creative flavors! I got the German chocolate cake flavored ice cream and was instantly hooked. The cake batter which my husband got was also one of the best I have had given cake batter is not on my top choices for flavors. The only flaw is that they don't have cones... but regardless I still have made multiple trips since there opening.

Mia P.

Yelp
Wow! Amazing service from the crew in Brighton and especially Noah. They offered a special deal after my friend and I kicked up a conversation with them. Very friendly and will be coming back every week! We ordered a mint chip after a special recommendation from Noah and loved every bite! Can not say enough good things!!

Phoebe E.

Yelp
Love this place!! Very good ice cream and froyo. I've tried several different combo and they've all been delicious!

Zee S.

Yelp
Choose a signature sundae- you won't regret it! There's no wrong choices with ice cream

Marissa J.

Yelp
Wide range of ice cream flavors, toppings & pre-set sundae options. Beware: the sizing is made for a king. They're HUGE. I got the smallest size and couldn't finish it. I got a peanut butter Oreo flavored sundae with a peanut butter core, brownie bites & chocolate chunks. Service was quick & friendly. Prices are a big high, but reasonable to split one... if you ever come to an agreement on the flavors!! XD so many!

Paige S.

Yelp
Be careful... it is almost TOO good. There are layers of cream and crunch and great portions. I am telling you, it's dangerous but it's dang GOOD.

James P.

Yelp
I stopped by because I saw that they offer delivery but I wanted to see my ice cream store first hand. The menu is amazing so many different flavors I couldn't even count them all. And Mixins. And Sundaes. Amazing!!!!

Claire S.

Yelp
WOW WOW WOW! Ice cream delivery has changed the COVID game! I could stare at the menu for days and still not know what I wanted. Definitely recommend getting one of their pre-created sundaes for your first time as the list can be daunting. The Garland, a s'mores esque concoction, and the Four Horsemen, a peanut butter cookie dream, are my two favorites. A note on sizing... they run large, and you'll love them for it. A mini is slightly bigger than your typical small. I personally go for the Hungry size, and it will last me about three nights. The prices are certainly higher than your typical ice cream shop, but it's certainly worth it. You get a good amount of ice cream, and it's a high quality sundae that will last you more than just a night. They do offer delivery, and you order through UberEats or GrubHub etc. But if you get the chance to visit yourself, the shop is super cute and located in the heart of Brighton Center. There's a park about a minute away if you want to eat there. Everyone has to try Scoop N Scootery once in their lifetime!

Heidi B.

Yelp
Fantastic new location of the Scoop! The sundae was delicious, the vibe in the store really nice and unique. The service was outstanding! Best ice cream around!

amy l.

Yelp
I've been here many times and I loved it every time. Their ice cream tastes great and the workers are very kind. I would definitely recommend this place to others!

Elizabeth P.

Yelp
It's actually incredible how many creative sundaes are on their menu. If you're looking for a delicious and decadent treat-yourself kind of dessert, this is the place to go! Excited to go back and try more items on the menu.

Veneshia S.

Yelp
Tons of options to choose from, so be prepared to be overwhelmed in an awesome way! First time visiting & the experience was amazing. When I'm the Boston area again, I will be back!

Ellen D.

Yelp
So good with so many options! I got the Salt and Battery which was ah-mazing. A winning combo and the best whipped cream ever. Wish the caramel was salted but oh well - you win some, you lose some. Very COVID safe. Only complaint is that it's a little overpriced for something you could easily make at home.

Mai-Han N.

Yelp
Love this place. Amazing ice cream and fro yo, interesting combinations for sundaes, and super nice staff.

Bachar A.

Yelp
Honestly, the best ice cream in Boston! They have awesome sundaes and so many options. In addition, the staff is really nice. I also like the art they have up in the store. You can pick up your ice cream and take it home with you, or just have it at the store.

Gianna W.

Yelp
Delicious sundaes and awesome staff! They are super fast, loaded, and absolute worth every penny. The menu is huge so there are plenty of options for everyone.

Michelle B.

Yelp
Delicious ice cream w SO MANY options. I got the holy cannoli and the black heart. Definitely worth the drive!
