Recently visited for my partners 40th birthday. We had an amazing time. Adam who looked after us, was attentive and really cared to ask us for our opinion and feedback. He had a great knowledge of the wines, recommended dishes to suit our palettes and was honestly second to none. Service like this is really hard to come by and the food…. Well the photos speak for themselves. Would highly recommend for good seafood in London. Thank you Adam

The vast amount of praiseful reviews and the high ratings speak for themselves. This is without a doubt the best seafood restaurant I have ever been to.
Firstly I would like to say a big thank you to our friendly and charismatic server Jake, he was really down to earth and made a special night out for us even better.
The food is divine. The portion sizes are well worth the money which is so nice to see in a London restaurant. The haddock was soft and flavourful. The wine and garlic mussels are delightful.
The restaurant was very busy and it’s clear to see why. Despite the amount of diners the service speed was very impressive. I would highly recommend The Seafood Bar to anyone.

It was such a busy evening. Had to wait a bit before we were seated. Very good customer service....we ordered cocktails but when they arrived didn't taste great. Mentioned this to one of the staff, and this was immediately resolved. Got new complimentary drinks that tasted much better. The food was good, and the Seafood tasted fresh despite the fact that it was super busy. Had a lovely evening overall.

My husband and I ate here to celebrate his birthday. We had a great time - the food was absolutely delicious, and staff were lovely (thanks especially to our waitress Caitlan who was fantastic).
We had the mixed grill platter - an array of delicious, perfectly cooked seafood with a base of punchy tomato sauce - with an additional half lobster. We also ordered a side of lobster mac and cheese, which I would have happily eaten an entire vat of. Thoroughly enjoyable meal out, felt very special, and no doubt we will be back!

I recently visited the Seafood Bar on Dean Street, and while it wasn’t a bad experience, there are a few areas that could use some improvement.
The food was decent – the seafood was fresh, but the flavors didn’t quite stand out as much as I had hoped. It was good, but not great. The presentation was simple, which didn’t help elevate the overall experience.
The service was just okay. While the staff were polite, the attention to detail felt a bit lacking. It wasn’t the warm, welcoming service you’d expect from a place trying to make a great impression.
The decor was also pretty average. The ambiance wasn’t particularly inviting or memorable, which made it hard to get excited about the dining experience. The place could definitely benefit from a little more personality to attract customers and create a more comfortable atmosphere.
Overall, it wasn’t a bad visit, but there are definitely areas where improvements could make this a much more enjoyable spot.

We weren’t wowed as we thought we would be. The service was fine but the ambiance not great and it was rather cold. My husband had fish and chips that was a bit dry but also too greasy for him. I had mixed grill which was very nice. I don’t recommend the 0% alcohol martini which I wouldn’t have again - better stick to the real thing!

A few weeks have passed, but I wanted to share my experience dining at this wonderful restaurant. Craving fish, I did a bit of searching in the area and came across The Seafood Bar—and I’m so glad I did!
From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by Adam, who was both knowledgeable and patient. He took the time to walk me through the menu and suggested the perfect dish to suit my taste.
As someone who enjoys dining solo, I was delighted by how cozy and inviting the atmosphere was.

Great Venue, loved the atmosphere that the staff members create, they all look happy and enjoying their jobs. Stand out was a young lady from Australia named Lily, recommend her as your server, great smile and work ethic. We went all out and ordered everything, if I had to go back it would hands down be the fish and chips, great portion with great crunch. We did all seafood, most of it was good, some not as fresh as you would expect, almost tasted frozen and thawed out. All the starters were great, crab cakes fantastic.. calamari little tough as it could have been frozen as well. For the price you pay everything should be fresh. This is what is expected from a downtown London restaurant. I would go back for the fish and ships. Small selection of beers for offer.
