The secret garden luxury suites

Our experience at this hotel started on a wonderful note thanks to Nikki. She was incredibly kind, supportive, and genuinely friendly, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The hotel itself is absolutely stunning, with every detail thoughtfully designed and exuding fantastic taste. Unfortunately, our stay was tarnished by an encounter with another staff member, an older man, whose behavior was shockingly rude. When we entered the dining area, he abruptly questioned whether we were guests, and even after confirming our reservation (from a short list of just four rooms) , his attitude remained unfriendly. He then asked where we were visiting from, assuming he replied Spain and smiled and upon hearing our answer, (Mexico) he made an unpleasant face and launched into a complaint about what he sees on the news. This interaction made us feel very uncomfortable but we decided to give him another chance, I told him Mexico was a beautiful country and again he made a very obvious face of disgust, That made us feel way more uncomfortable, so that my mom and I decided not to eat anything prepared by him. I wholeheartedly recommend this lovely hotel for its beauty and exceptional service from Nikki, who truly made our stay worthwhile. However, I hope future guests only encounter her warmth and professionalism. As for the older man at the front desk who made ignorant and racist comments about Mexico despite never visiting, just remember: you’ve benefited from the hard work of the very people you insult. Perhaps it’s time to reconsider your views.

From the moment we arrived at the beautiful place, Heidi (the Host) was amazing. Nothing was too hard, the attention to detail was fantastic. Our room had an open fireplace, a seperate shower.a seperate unground bath and a seperate bedroom. The decor was traditional, yet gave the feeling of perfection.||Breakfast was fantastic. The bread, pastries, charcuterie board to start. With good coffee and tea. Then I. To the fried eggs and bacon and to finish with Champagne and Juice.||I could not recommend this place enough for anyone wanting to visit Brugge and experience all it has to offer.||Thank you Heidi for making our stay memorable and authentic……

Perfect in every way! The decor is amazing, the bed and linen wonderful and the room well appointed. The hot tub was nice on a cold day. Great breakfast and Heidi is the perfect host. One of our better stays during a 3 month trip through Europe. The location is good, quiet yet an easy walk everywhere. Couldn’t have been happier! Highly recommended

This BnB is simply wonderful. It is very comfortable and our room was simply magical; the decorations, the furniture and the windows over the canal. The breakfast area overlooking the garden is a treasure.|This BnB is located very close to everything in central Brugge. We walked everywhere in Central Brugge from the Secret Garden.|The staff made us feel very much at home and went out of their way to make us comfortable. We met the owners, Veerle and Kris Baert, and they are lovely people.

Was travelling solo and a little nervous. My host Heidi couldn’t of been kinder. She rang twice before my trip to reassure me etc. it’s hard to describe and photos don’t do it justice. Yes a beautiful garden with sensational pool with loungers, but my room was simply beautiful! The indoor hot tub too was an added touch and loved the little lounge to have a tipple before bed, you simply right down you name and what you have drunk. The decor is striking but elegant at the same time.I was on the top floor that had an amazing view. I truly felt like I was so lucky having booked it. I will be back!

Intimate, quiet, beautiful, romantic, and secret. Best breakfast and gracious, helpful hosts. Pack light, no elevator. Adult vibe. We rented 3 rooms, fav was 4 with large sitting area. Suite 1 has a romantic sunken tub and fireplace. You will feel pampered....just go. Leave the kids at home.

This bed & breakfast has amazing rooms. The location is convenient to town and shops. The rooms are beautiful, the garden, hot tub, and different public areas are delightful. I highly recommend this hotel. It is a wonderful place to stay and Heidi is a lovely host. We would absolutely return here.

Amazing. No cons whatsoever. We had the most perfect stay. We were welcomed warmly and the room was incredible. Fireplace, TV, views over the garden and the bath was breath taking. We were the only guests the first night so made the most of the hot tub facilities, which after a cold day testing the local beer and waffles is a must! We have just booked our return for Christmas and we cannot wait. Walking distance from anywhere you could wish to go and a lovely continental breakfast included, Couldn't recommend enough. I left something behind and was contacted by Heidi to arrange pick up. 5*
