The Serai Chikmagalur

We had a good stay at this resort. The staff is very courteous and the place is beautiful. We had booked a package as a couple but the staff was unsure about what is included in the package and we had to figure it out ourselves and follow up for everything. The whole point of booking the package was that we wouldn’t have to think too much during the stay. You would expect this to be taken care of when you are paying so much and if this was managed well, it would have been a perfect experience.

I had the most wonderful stay at The Serai Chikmagalur – everything about this property reflects luxury, warmth, and perfection. From the moment we arrived, the team made sure every little detail was taken care of, ensuring a seamless and truly memorable experience. ||Special thanks to Mr. Prasun , the Culinary service team member for assisting us to select the best dishes available. At the same time, my heartfelt thanks to the entire Serai Chikmagalur team for their impeccable service, warm smiles, and dedication that made the stay unforgettable.

We had a truly wonderful time at The Serai, Chikkamagaluru. Nestled in a vast estate surrounded by lush coffee plantations and a variety of fruit trees, the property offers a serene and refreshing escape into nature.||The constant light drizzle throughout our stay added a magical touch to the peaceful ambiance. One of the highlights was the coffee plantation tour led by Mr. Pradeep, who gave us fascinating insights into different coffee varieties, blends, and the journey from bean to brew. It was both informative and engaging—perfect for coffee lovers!||Families with children will appreciate the well-equipped playroom, where Miss Suma does a fantastic job keeping kids entertained with activities like crafts, drawing, and indoor games. Her warm and engaging nature made it a delightful experience for the little ones.||The hospitality was exceptional—the staff were incredibly courteous and ensured our stay was comfortable and enjoyable.||Grateful for a memorable experience and looking forward to visiting again!

I had a wonderful stay at this resort, but what truly stood out for me was the exceptional food. Every meal was a delight, but the bakery items completely stole the show. The pastry chef here is incredibly talented — each creation was fresh, perfectly balanced, and absolutely delicious. From flaky croissants to decadent desserts, everything was crafted with such finesse. It’s rare to find resort food that feels this personal and high-quality, especially in the bakery section. If you’re someone who appreciates good food (and amazing pastries!), this place will not disappoint. Highly recommended!

We stayed in serai Chikmagalur for 2 days … it was a pleasant stay for our family… specially my kid enjoyed a lot in the play area . Suma who was the care taker of play area took very good care and kept her engrossed in activities.. and last but not the least the head chef Mr. Sharma who was very courteous to customise our food and the morning breakfast was also great ..

Overall excellent experience and especially Chef Anil and Prasun was really supportive in selection of cuisines and recommendations … excellent food and presentation…. Front desk response was great . Well maintained property and overall stay was very peaceful.

It was our trip which is referred by our friend and it was outstanding there Specially food and tour of Coffee plantation,Chef Anil took special care of us. |Thank you Team Serai for making wonderful hospitality for us ..

The staff is amazing! Food is below average. Tried one cocktail, and it was horrible. Rooms should have some ventilation, mattress was horrible and got severe body pain. TV is placed in the corner, small screen, placed so far, could hardly read display. Need to sit on the bed which is so uncomfortable to watch TV. The chairs placed in the villa is also not great. They need to revive the villa facilities. I wouldn't come back here again.water wasn't that hot in the washroom.
