The Serangoon House Little India, Singapore, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

We loved staying at Serangoon House!! My kids thought the king sized bunk beds were so fun and comfortable! Being in Little India was vibrant and high energy. Kamala (Praba) at front desk was delightful! So professional and kind!! Food was good too. We loved the decorations- totally felt like we were in India!!

Had a wonderful stay in The Serangoon. I had one night in transit and this hotel was perfect. It's a very quaint and beautifully decorated hotel in the midst of little India. Kamala at the front desk made sure my stay was comfortable,was very pleasant and super helpful. She also gave me a late check out since my flight got delayed. Her assistant whose name I forgot also was very helpful. Overall had a great stay and would definitely consider staying here if I come the Singapore way !

A charming beautiful little hotel strategicly located. Ours come with delicious breakfast. Staffs are friendly and very accomodating. Amenities only set for 2, they send to the room very quickly when I asked for towel & water for 3 pax & a shaver. However I couldn’t find shower cap, yet to call & ask for it to be sent, is too bothersome. Room is very small & no wardrobe, only hangers on the wall. The bed is hardwood carved classic style, it’s a queen size bunkbed to accomodate 4, only the people sleeping upper deck needs to climb a wooden detachable monkey ladder, watch your head though, we bumped our head on the carving that hang a bit too low.

We would like to thank Ms. Kamala who was most helpful and friendly from making the booking, checking-in and during our stay. Ms Kamala makes our visit to Singapore very pleasant. The other staff members e.g. Ms Puva were also very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean too. ||We are looking forward to staying at The Serangoon House again next time when we visit Singapore and seeing Ms. Kamala again.

Receptionists Prabha and Kamala were exceptional – friendly, professional, and always ready to help with a smile. They went above and beyond to make our check-in smooth and were always available for anything we needed throughout our stay. A special shout-out to Hari in the kitchen team who took great care of my family. His attention to detail and dedication to providing a fantastic dining experience truly stood out. Every meal was delicious, and the service was consistently top-notch. Overall, the hospitality at Serangoon House is second to none. We’re grateful for the amazing experience and highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Singapore!

He provided exceptional customer service, making us feel instantly welcome and well taken care of. The staff throughout our stay were super friendly and always ready to assist with a smile. The location is excellent—convenient and easy to get around Singapore. Our room was a highlight: uniquely decorated, beautifully maintained, and exuding a classy charm that made our stay extra special. Overall, it was a truly wonderful experience. As frequent visitors to Singapore, we will definitely be returning. Highly recommended!

I had a fantastic stay at [SerangoonHouse ! The staff specially (Kamala/ Praba )was incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable throughout my visit. The room was spotless, modern, and well-equipped with everything I needed. The location was perfect — close to local attractions and public transportation.
