The Serangoon House Little India, Singapore, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

It was a Great stay. The room was a little small for 4 adults but that was something I should have paid attention and booked a bigger room like Deluxe room. We were able to manage. Service was outstanding staring with front desk, room service and breakfast. Every member of staff made us fell welcomed and provided outstanding service.. The breakfast was outstanding. The proximity of the hotel to everything was great. The train station was about 3 mins walk.lots of food ans shopping options around. Would stay there again if i visit singapore in future.

We were a little dubious about what we were going to experience from The Serangoon with is being incredibly low priced. |We were immediately impressed as soon as we entered the hotel.|The staff are some of the most accommodating we’ve experienced and we have stayed in some of the best hotels in the world.|The rooms are small but very well put together.|The linen, mattress, pillows and duvet are beautiful and incredibly comfortable. |Breakfast is sensational with plenty to choose from.|The staff are a credit to the hotel.|Thanks you, Praba, Kamala, Nasvul and the rest of the team.||Don’t overlook this if you’re looking for a superior hotel.||4* but felt 5*

The rooms were very compact yet comfortable for a family of 4 where kids can sleep in bunker beds safely and comfortably. Serangoon house is located at the heart of Little India with Farrer Park station very close to it and a lot of good Indian restaurants within 100 meters. The hotel staff were courteous and ensured an early check-in as well as managed our luggage when we were out for Indonesia for a couple of days before coming back to Singapore again. I would like to give a big kudos to Jaya, Kamala for their hospitality and making our stay comfortable. Will definitely recommend and stay in future trips. One feedback I will give is that they can make different menus for breakfast instead of the same menu everyday, which is kinda boring.

As mentioned in other reviews the space in the room is a little tight. Yet the room and stay was comfortable. This was the most economical Marriott option for my stay hence good value. Located close to the Ferrer park MRT. A lot of good food options near by. The staff were friendly and helpful. Enjoyed my stay all in all.

The location is prime in Little India. The rooms are neat and clean . Water bottles provided as and when required . Room cleaned on daily basis and new towels provided daily.|The front desk staff Mr. Sing, Mr. Hashri provided good support during check in process and was very helpful . They used to deliver the required items personally as we used to reach hotel by 1100 pm night and they supported at all times . Appreciate the same .|At the time of checkout Mr Praba and Ms. Kamala was very helpful as I was running late to catch bus. Checkout process was faster. |Hotel is value for money ||Suggestion : To have a name card at Hotel entry door as I was unable to locate the hotel entry . The same happened with other guest also

We stayed in hotel for 4 days. We had a nice time. Kamala, Praba , Puva and Chandran were extremely co operative and ensured we had a nice stay. The Interiors are extremely unique with colonial theme and paintings in the room and reception. Room sizes are pretty small and congested .

We are Americans. Came here to go on a Celebrity Cruise. This is a centrally located hotel in the heart of Little India and well connected to the city center and Marina Pier. Trains are very reliable and cheap. Use your Credit Card .|You need to know it has bunk beds and small rooms which is understandable. ||Front Desk PRABA was very friendly and helpful. Told us about shopping at the New World Mall and Mustafa Center. Both very close to the hotel. We took the train and went hiking to 4 connected trails. SOUTHERN Ridges ( Mount Faber Park, Henderson Waves and Telok Hill Park. ) Love it.

Spent two nights here on our stopover. Loved the style of the hotel. All the staff we came into contact with were courteous and so helpful. We checked in early and were offered breakfast on arrival as we would have missed it on our last morning. An unexpected treat! Our room was upgraded to the top floor, amazing views, especially with all the Diwali lights on Serangoon Road. Particular thanks to Praba and Kamala for going the extra mile! I hope I’ll be back.
