Collin - good service / gave great suggestions for first time goers Rita - good drinks / we had two Long island / pineapple peach mojitos Food; Dungeness crab shrimp with head off, Clams,Green mussels, Egg(2), Hush puppies & Garlic noodles. We got spice level hot & it is spicy in the best way! No complaints ate it for leftovers as well, I think everything was cooked to perfection & seasoned well. Very appreciative of the multiple fans blowing around the dinning area. Very clean dining room floor. I’ve recently ordered from uber eats and their lemon pepper wings are delicious and both times have been delivered hot. *Both Men & Women Bathrooms smelled atrocious! possible sewage issue? Needs to be resolved quickly. **Be sure to read the posted signs and be sure to read your receipt as gratuity is added depending on your group size.

Food was fresh and delivered on time. Michelle was my server, she did a great job. But for some reason the manager felt the need to interject herself into my dining experience. Told me because I ordered to go I had to leave. I am visiting from Chicago and just wanted to eat my food without having to eat in the hotel. Told me if I ate at the bar I would be charged 15%. She was very rude, wouldn’t tell me her name. But I visted Sunday September 21st at 9:50pm. She argued with me about eating my food. I am a restaurant business owner and would never want my manager or employee to treat my customers the way she treated me. Again the food is great, but the way I was treated was disrespectful and uncalled for. Please coach her on how to treat customers.

Tried the crawfish boil here and it was good, not great. Somewhat flavorful with a decent amount of spice. Not the best I’ve ever had, but still worth checking out. Portion size was fair and service was solid. Room was beyond hot though and no A/C is ridiculous. Giving 3 stars and it still feels like a generous review.

So let’s start with atmosphere which was pretty chill . Reminds me of hook & reel and wild crab honestly. Service Anthony was our server he was okay. Food took a little longer than I like to come out . But it was hot . I got one of the mini combs extra hot honestly it taste like the poured a whole bottle of hot sauce in it . My girlfriend just got the garlic butter and it was flavorful than mine so next time I’ll get that . For the price the portions are good .Ill be back when in that area .

Very casual seafood restaurant with open concept dining. The food was what I expected- the medium wasn’t hot enough to be. So, next time I’d probably order the hot instead. Overall, the shake special seasoning was very good. Loved the corn, potatoes, and sausage. Crawfish lacked flavor. It tasted raw. This was my first time having crawfish and I wasn’t a fan. I had a non-alcoholic frozen drink. My friend ordered one as well, she joined the table about 20 mins after. I tasted her drink and realized there was a bad aftertaste in both our drinks. I’m not sure if it was the pina colada flavor or what… Service was ok. My server was pretty nice, but not very attentive. It took 10 mins to order my drink and about 20 minutes before he brought our check when we asked for it to be split. I’m not a big seafood person so I wouldn’t say I’ll be back often. But, I would probably order take out.

Went here last night on a whim, I had a craving for some seafood some good seafood so I decided to get this place a try. I ordered a small combo half-and-half six shrimp one snow crab. I got one potato and one piece of corn. the shrimp was so delicious. I will be back for that The snow crabs not too much. They was overcooked potato was perfect. Corn was juicy buttery saucy.. I ordered a margarita which was good bottom shelf house tequila you may say which wasn’t bad. You need like three of them to fill the buzz though so be aware.. The service was OK. It was a little slow, but I guess I get like that when the night become busy the atmosphere was OK. One room bunch of tables not too bad.

My partner and I’s experience here was good. We ordered a Seafood boil with snow crab legs, black mussels, shrimp, broccoli, boiled eggs, and it came with corn and potatoes. We had their signature sauce and made it spicy. It was very flavorful and we both enjoyed it! The calamari could’ve been better and we appreciated the portion size. Service was fast! Would come here again for sure. There is an automatic 10-16% tip added that came as a surprise given we were a party of two, and there was a tax as well. Overall we had a good experience here.

John is an excellent waiter. The atmosphere is very nice. Music not the best. I would give it a five star, however it made me question how clean it is in the kitchen when cooking food that we can’t see, because the bathroom stall doors are extremely filthy and looks like it has not been clean. Germs is major in our society today. I also wanted to look out the window and the windows and post in between the windows are very dirty. When eating I don’t need to see filth!

I have never seen this place crowded. At first you can't tell if this chain restaurant is even going to be good Their cocktails are nuts? So good. Only had 1 and as a heavy drinker I had to go....am I intoxicated already? Their boil bag made me want to actually drink the butter after the fact and I'm very much lactose intolerant. Service wasn't memorable but honestly the food and drinks were the true highlight

We came here on a couple occasions for our late lunch/happy hour Fridays, including yesterday. And each time I'm confused as to where the entrance is (on the side of 2nd street with no access from the parking lot). Anyway, it always seems fairly empty but there is usually a steady flow of a few people coming in and out. As you walk in, it's open and CLEAN which is very important to me. The crab legs and very well priced drinks NEVER disappoint, the sauces are amazing and the service is also consistent. This is one of my favorite places to eat in Philly!

Damn I wish I remember my waiters name. It's been so long since I've eaten here but from the time since I have been here I can tell you this. I've thought of this place numerous times and I've recommended it to many people after me. The waiter was a younger Asian guy super cool. Great suggestions. The food here was the bomb I'm really not going to write a super drastic review but I can tell you it's been ... ( I looked it up I dined here August 16th around 1:30pm ) This place is good I wish I had taken pictures but I was so hungry I just tore everything up. Just go !!! It was great inside. Lots of seating. Very clean even the restroom.

So we literally arrive 20 minutes before closing ... HORRIBLE I KNOWWWW !!!! But in our defense, we weren't sure exactly of the hours. We were courteously greeted and seated very quickly. There were a few other parties that were there. They were closing out their tab. The night was absolutely closing up. When we sat down, we weren't sure exactly what we wanted to drink so we talk the staff and they had recommended some drink drinks based on what we like, he definitely asked what we kinda liked sweet versus strong versus a little tart and his recommendation. We're spot one I got the mango martini which was delicious and my daughters got Mai Tai ! Next week look at the menu and kinda decide what we wanted when we arrived. There was literally only maybe about 10 minutes before the kitchen close and so you know, the waiter was very gracious and letting us know. Hey we kinda have to make this a little quick if you wanna get your order in before and so we were able to make Choices and He did give a little bit of input and so with that we did place our orders.. When I say this place was nothing short of amazing one of the best crab boils I've had from Phoenix to Philadelphia. It was perfectly flavored, but wasn't too spicy. The quality of crabs and shrimp was great !! The crab legs were tender and juicy and easy to crack, and the quantity of shrimp that I got with my platter was above what I expected. 10 out of 10 highly recommend !!! I can't to go back !!!!

My food had a rusty nail in my order. It pierced my mouth while I was eating, luckily I didn't swallow it. I tried to contact the store about the issue and just received nasty service from the so called manager and was hung up on. I will never order from here again. Good luck to anyone who does!

The food is good quality and porción also , I really love to eat at this place . Spend time with kids and wife , place is clean and staff very polite

I've driven to Baltimore to get a seafood boil. You know, through two states for a weeknight dinner. Because I love seafood boils. I can't think of a simple & quick meal that I love more. Well, I looked high and low through Philly and south Jersey to find someplace that made a seafood boil that was at least... acceptable. There were a lot of tries and a lot of fails. Then I found The Shake Seafood (originally the one on Coffman). Finally. It's a good boil. Their house sauce is a good sauce. Their spice levels actually spice. The seafood is always fresh. The portion sizes are nice. The prices are reasonable. It does all the things. I still have to give it 4 stars because Baltimore holds down the 5s, but it's definitely the best that Philly has to offer.

Only been there once and it was a nice experience. Different from any ither eatery places I've been to. Food was great service was different having to wait for food number to be called and brought out to you. But all in all nothing bad to say about this place!

This place is a great spot if you're looking for some flavorful and spicy seafood. Servers are always attentive and helpful the few times I've been here Once you order the food it comes out so quick. I love the spicy snow crabs not too many good joints around Philly bringing the spiciness in seafood Place is really clean and the setting is ship inspired They have a bar area with TV for a more casual dining experience as well

This place is overpriced for what they serve. The portions are tiny and everything is served on disposable paper containers. So you basically get charged sit-down restaurant prices for a fast-food restaurant experience.

Seafood lovers, this is an alright seafood place if you need to satisfy cravings. I came with a friend and ordered 2 pounds of their crawfish in the garlic butter and shake sauce. The quality of the crawfish was good and it came with potatoes and sweet corn. However, to be honest the sauces were average and compared to other seafood boil restaurants, could be more flavorful. The difference in taste between the garlic and shake sauces were also minimal (you could probably switch them and it would be difficult to tell they were different sauces at all). Service was slightly lacking. My friend ordered snow crab legs and did not receive any crab crackers or utensils to break it down. While waiting for a server to walk by or notice us, none appeared so we had to search for someone and request it. Overall - good food and service could be improved but not a bad choice for a seafood boil!

More like 3.5 stars, not bad but not great. Came here with friends and my food was good! Their food was just okay though. Our server was doing his own thing majority of the time. Overall felt like a chain restaurant type of vibe.

The order was batched. When I placed the first order, the system said it had timed out and it did not go through. Therefore, I placed another order the exact same order and the system confirmed successful. The system said I would receive a call when my order was delivered, I did not. I went downstairs after an hour to find two bags from the restaurant my order has been duplicated evidently the first order did go through even though the system said it had timed out and it did not go through therefore I was charged twice For the exact same order and received duplicate orders. The food was barely warm and the catfish is not catfish. I don't know what kind of fish it is, but it is not catfish.

Our first time here and definitely won't be our last time. Compared to crab Dijour. This place is better quality of food portion of food service. I would recommend this place to anyone . if you wanna get your little drink on there is a little bar. oh, and by the way, very clean bathrooms, which always a plus. Bring your kids and your family and you will have an awesome time

Easy, fun group dinner option. It's hard to have a bad time wearing a bib and drinking from a flaming scorpion bowl. Keep it simple; our order was baby clams, shrimp, crawfish, sausage, potatoes, corn in garlic butter and I'd order that exact same "bag" again. Cajun fries were also a hit.

It was just alright but the shrimp was mushy and old. The customer service was pretty bad as they wouldn't answer any questions and tried to rush me off the phone.

Food arrived and on time Still hot and seasoned to perfection. The Garlic Noodles are delicious just enough garlic chicken crispy and Fish too! I will definitely order again I Love Shake Seafood

Great fresh seafood. Fried or boiled, you can't go wrong. Friendly efficient service. I had catfish and my friend had a double order of fried oysters. It was not crowded or noisy. We had a quiet lunch.

The "Combo D" I had with shrimp and crawfish was amazing I love spicy food and they had it just right. Their bar is also very nice!

food is alwaya good. love the sauce. my issue is they don't share the WiFi password with paying customers and the service is horrible I was not able to use my phone. my server was great. great customs service. but WiFi matters!!

Good food. My friend had the Shrimp and Snow Crab combo in garlic butter and loved them. I was pleasantly surprised by the yummy Cajun wings.

This place is fire! It was everything I wanted it to be. The shake sauce is the way to go. The seafood choices are plentiful. You just get some rice and noodles on the side and throw it in the sauce. The experience is tailored to whatever you want. Will def be back. I'm glad this pace exists and I need it to continue to stay in this location

Beautiful nice clean everyone had wonderful attitudes service was great. Their firm was clean and all the food came on time I loved it.

We ordered takeout here last Friday and the food was fantastic. We got shrimp, clams, and sausage and loved everything. Big portions, fresh, and well packaged. Inside looked great as well- we will have to come back to eat in person. Highly recommend!
