We had an unforgettable stay at the Edition. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Service was one of the best I’ve received. The room was super spacious light and airy. The very modern yet cultural touches made it aesthetically pleasing. We had an amazing view of the bund and a lovely skyline view in the separate bath as well. Super comfortable . Breakfast was fresh with buffet options along with a modest a la cart menu. All round highly recommend!

I had a wonderful stay in the Edition hotel Shanghai. All staffs are professional and polite. Especially a passionate staff named Blanche decorated my room with amazing flowers and a nice birthday cake, with a handwritten birthday card from the GM of the hotel. She is helpful and lets me feel very warm even on a cold day. That's an unforgettable stay in MARRIOTT!!!! There is a little bit of pity that is there are not many parking lots for guests. My friend got a penalty ticket for parking that night after drinking with me even indicated by the hotel staff. lol

I had the wonderful chance to stay at edition from 21 to 28, and was, as always, beyond pleased with the care provided. It would be rather cliché to bring up again how perfect the hotel itself is, as it is always the caring individuals who work at edition that elevate the entire experience from good to great and from satisfactory to beyond expectations. For the experience this time, I feel compelled to mention Frank and Jasmine personally made sure my room arrangement was perfect, and everything right to the details. him efforts provide me with relief and convenience, countering the overwhelming workloads I had. Frank Zhang made it clear with actions and results that I was given attentions and being taken care of at their absolute best. MILLION thanks to Frank and Jasmine. Overall, genuine pleasure and thanks to the caring people and edition. See you next time in the near future.

Before my arrival, Jessie from the Front Desk contacted us regarding the stay. She is extremely nice and I felt that SH Edition is caring about their customers. Especially the Front Desk is trying so hard to enhance the stay experience for their guests. After our arrival, Randoll and Camila has helped me a lot during the check in process. Camila is very professional and thoughtful, showing enthusiasm for the job. The room was upgraded to a beautiful buns view suite, with chocolate and fruits treats, (those were delicious). I choose to have my dinner at Hiya. I had a memorable dinning experience there, the quality of the foods and the services are all excellent and perfect. Especially Yemin, she is very friendly. Day after I checked out from the hotel, I found out that I left my passport and necklace in the save of my room. I contacted the hotel. Kris, and Jessie helped me get my belongings back very quickly. I sincerely appreciate their help. Shanghai Edition has performed much better than the similar hotels. The hotel should be proud to have staffs like Jessie, Camila, Randoll, Yemin in the hotel. Thank again for everything!

Same as title. The extraordinary alcohol was first thing attacked me. I think it's all relevant to the original of Edition and Mr. Schrager. There are different kinds of alcohol at different areas. Also designers or design-lovers will know more about creation. I just omit these introductions that others can have chances to explore on their own. Not so high-tech comparing with new luxury hotels. The best concierge～

A fabulous location looking over the bund is truly a joyz. The hotel is bright and modern whilst keeping authentic Chinese culture at its heart . The rooms are perfect and are seemingly very new. The beds are very comfy and the bathrooms are lavish. The views however are the highlight of the rooms - those overlooking the bund especially and facilities are great too. However what really makes this hotel special is the service. All the staff are incredibly friendly and professional and are always available to help with anything you might need. The food is delicious. Overall a faultless stay.

the location of the hotel is good. It is very close to both the East Nanjing Road and the Bund. We can walk to the bund in 3 minutes. The view of the hotel especially from the Hiya or the roof is great, probably the best in Shanghai. I would recommend you to stay here just for the great view of the above 2 restraunts. The staffs of Edition is well trained and very professional. Camila and Xandra at the reception impress me the most. They know the differences of each room of the hotel and assigned me a city view room this time which is also unbelievable good, when you see the river view too many times, the city view brings you to new aspect of the city.

I've stayed over 14 nights in this hotel so far since it opened. I love this hotel from the design to the food to the staff. The rooms are chic, but comfortable - livable luxury. The hotel is trendy but not stuffy or too posh. The pool is nice and clean with changing facilities. The gym is simple but has the basics - unfortunately the dumbbells do not go heavier than 10kg, but is enough for light workouts at the hotel. My only complaint is the dimly lit mirror in the bathroom which makes putting on makeup a little difficult at night. Also, I wish the roof top bar, while it has a great view, could get to the same level of chic mood and exceptional service as the rest of the hotel. That being said, I will continue to come back and check out the other Edition Hotels.
