The Shed Restaurant

The food was delicious! The servings were very generous and the dishes were very unique. Regular water refills. Really lovely ambience, could see chefs in kitchen and the music was quiet so it was really calm. Very non-oppressive atmosphere not like a lot of other restaurants. And so affordable! Only £28 for 3 courses. I thought it was Michelin star when I went, turns out it isn’t but I wouldn’t have been surprised if it was.

Visited on a Saturday afternoon in December. I must say the staff here are absolutely amazing, so attentive and knowledgeable about the food and wine. Lunch was excellent. You can see the chefs cooking ,a fabulous experience you won't be disappointed 5* all round.

We had an overwhelmingly enjoyable time at the Shed. The set lunch menu had a very appealing mixture of food and the a la carte looked good too. I had the sprouting broccoli for starter which was scrumptious and indulgent. Then for main I had rabbit and it was tender and with lovely rich gravy. The bread and butter pudding was a highlight for me as it was so tasty and freshly made. The waiting team are all friendly and attentive and it's cool to be able to see the chefs cooking!

The food is unique and delicious - cockle croquettes, sea bass with charred cabbage and a delicious red sauce, followed by olive oil parfait. What made my experience particularly outstanding was the excellent service and advice from the person who took my order and brought the food. She was warm, friendly and seemed to genuinely care about making sure everyone enjoyed their food and their time at the restaurant. The ambiance is also calming.

Fabulous venue and food ... well worth a 4 and 1/2 hour drive!! (I was there for a meeting 😁) but anyone driving upto an hour for the experience will not feel they have wasted time. We had a great experience at The Shed in Swansea. The atmosphere was relaxed and inviting, and the food stood out. The blood sausage was cooked perfectly, with a rich, balanced flavour. The service was attentive, and the staff made sure we had everything we needed and were excellent in advising with our choices from the menu. The Shed offers an excellent dining experience with high-quality dishes that are well worth trying. If you’re in Swansea, it’s definitely worth a visit for a Welsh inspired and beautifully cooked meal.

I recently had dinner at this amazing high-end restaurant and it was fantastic! The crab and flatbread starter was super fresh and tasty, with the crab's sweetness perfectly balanced by the crisp flatbread. The duck breast with chickpea and kale was the star of the show. The duck was incredibly tender and juicy, with a rich, savory flavor. The chickpeas added a nice earthy touch, while the kale brought a slight bitterness that balanced the dish perfectly. Pairing it with a glass of house red wine made it even better, as the wine's rich notes complemented the savory duck. I also tried the cockle croquette small plate, and it was a great addition. They were crispy on the outside and filled with a creamy, flavorful mixture of cockles. Absolutely delicious! The service was fantastic, with friendly and attentive staff making sure everything was perfect. The ambiance was beautiful, with elegant decor and a calm atmosphere that made the evening even more special. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to enjoy amazing food and great service. Definitely worth a visit!

Brilliant Service, excellent food and a lovely environment. The staff were knowledgeable, attentive and friendly throughout. They really made it personalised service and great interactions. It was a little bit cold but but otherwise a perfect night. Thanks so much.
