The Shelby

We recently had our wedding at the Shelby in Carson, the venue was perfect for our special day. We had approx 110 guests and we all had an amazing time. The venue is a good space with a lot of opportunity to decorate it as you please for your event. Special mention goes out to Mylik who helped us with everything, from booking the venue to any queries we had. He was so helpful and provided us with great care and attention, he also worked at the bar on the day itself and everyone loved him! For future events we will absolutely be considering the Shelby. We would like to wish the Mylik and the team all the best for the future and a big thank you to all of you!

I can not really sum up in words how thankful I am for this venue! First and foremost, thank you so much, Mr.Layton, for all your help and work in making sure my husband enjoyed his 35th birthday! Your team was so amazing and made certain things ran smoothly for the night! Thank you so much, Malik, for all your help as well. There was a special occasion for some high school kids and it needed security officers to ensure their safety. I was one of three guards there and it went smoothly.

Great atmosphere and helpful staff

I highly recommend working with the Omens Group for events. I recently hosted a brunch banquet at The Shelby and I can not say enough positive things about the team who is a part of the Omens Group. From my first meeting with Layton, I knew that the team would be amazing to work with and was in awe with the beauty of the venue. Layton, Tyler, Jess, and Layssa were patient, courteous, and responsive to all of my emails and text messages. Overall, I am so glad that I decided to host my banquet at The Shelby; the Omens Group made my event planning process a breeze!! :)

The staff was courteous and attentive. The space was well lit and accommodating. We were treated with kindness and respect. The fruit table was bananas lol. Jay LaMont the comedian gave a hell of a performance and the reason we were there was for the Queen who turned 50. What an amazing night!!!

From the time allowed to set up, the bartender and accommodations, to the beautiful venue in itself!!! It was perfect for the occasion, thank you for your great service and hospitality!!!
