A very busy hotel, looks nice, and the room decor is very crisp and nice. Unfortunately there’s about a million ad ons, you can’t use the sauna, you don’t have any spaces for the restaurants. The hotel is too widely available for the street traffic. The hotel guests are not a priority. I won’t be staying again, terrible experience. We still have another day but we will be staying outside as much as possible as inside the hotel is awful, far too busy and the guests are not treated with care at all.

We had a wonderful stay at Shilla. Service was amazing, the buffet (breakfast, lunch or dinner) was to die for. The attention to detail was outstanding. The lobby is full of art. True luxury feel and perfect combination of dynasty meets modern. Would recommend for anyone visiting Seoul. It is not in the middle of the hustle and bustle but that’s a good thing and there are shuttles or a quick cab ride to get you anywhere you want because it’s still very central. Worth the hype to stay here.

Service was top notch. Very little waiting for anything you need. Staff was attentive and helpful. Rooms were super nice and clean. Breakfast buffet was amazing. Only complaint was the gym. We paid over 400$ a night to stay here and we had to pay extra for access to the locker room and sauna and outdoor pool within the facility. Other than that this was a great stay.

The rooms are clean but were lacking many of the items that should be in a hotel room. The property is beautiful but service slow. It is possible that was because we were there at high season but for the price we paid that is not an an acceptable excuse. The food was very good and the offerings plentiful. The nicest part of the property are the gardens. Take a walk in the gardens. They are extensive with water falls and soft music playing while you walk in the beautiful trees and extensive path system in the hills of Seoul. This is a phenomenal hour of a walk in peace. Last time we tried the IFC Conrad Seoul and that property is not as scenic but a much more modern and better hotel both from service and quality plus it is attached to an incredible shopping area.

Stayed here for about a week when we visited Korea. The view from our 14th floor room was awesome especially at night. This might be the best hotel in Seoul as they have a lot of high profile individuals holding meetings and visiting. The rooms are great and large for a family of four. Their gym was pretty big and had everything that I needed. The restaurants (buffet) is like 10/10 for me. There are different types of restaurants. I believe they have live music at the wine bar which was cool to see. The thing that stood out the most for me was the service. They went above and beyond for each customers. I almost felt like I was being too pampered. They kept opening the lobby door for me. Listened and upgraded our room when we told them that the noise from the hallway was just too loud. They have shuttles that go to different parts of Seoul and back. There is a subway station nearby. There are also great restaurants nearby. Because this hotel sits atop a hill, they have shuttles that go from the base of the hill all the way to the lobby. This service was excellent. I wish the hotel was a bit more walker friendly though. I would definitely come back here next year when I visit again.

Superb service, nice large view rooms with separate sitting area & desk. Large bathroom with walk-in wet shower/tub combo that will fit 2 comfortably & double sinks w/ample counter. But form defeats function when plugs in bath & bed rooms are inside the drawers making it hard to plug in devices & renders drawers useless. Auto flush toilets with warm seat is great, but sand paper toilet tissue doesn’t cut it. Really? Want to be a 5 star hotel with this tissue? Bathroom lacks sufficient hooks for towels, robes, etc. Hand towel racks are too low under sink making it nearly touch floor. Nightstand lacks USB plugs. Get some table lamps with USB in the base.
