The Biggest Food Stories in DFW for 2024 | Eater Dallas

"The retail-and-dining concept inside Derby hit a lot of radars just in time for Father’s Day; it was described as 'such a neat concept' and 'just the right place for a lot of folks to take dad.' Reporters heard that brunch and dinner sold out on Father’s Day, in part thanks to the story, and reviewers were still thinking about that excellent stuffed grilled cheese sandwich." - Courtney E. Smith

Purchased a Porsche Cayenne from this "dealer." Had the car delivered and upon drop-off, the headlights don't work. The proper repair is about $2,700. The car has other wear and tear that's normal for the age and mileage, but headlights not working is a safety issue. The Shop Club refused to cover any of the repair, sticking me with a $2,700 fix just to make the car safe to drive. I asked to split it at $1,500 and they still refused. Buyers beware. This is truly a sold as-is, will not stand behind basic safety issues kind of dealership.

First off the staff is amazing. From the manager, to the reception staff, and the waitresses. The food, 100% worth it, shrimp pasta and brisket grilled cheese we're amazing, specially mention of the waygu burger too! The facility is top notch. It's a car persons Heaven. The collection of cars in storage has everything from rare prototype mustangs, and classics, race cars from TX2K, classic Rolls Royces, and supercars. Big shout out to Michelle for showing me around!

A very great concept for those who love cars and great food. The restaurant has really good food, staff is friendly and if you need a place to store your car this is a very good alternative. The restaurant is open to the public. For members: Four air conditioned wash bays, lifts and a members lounge. I have enjoyed the experience and use of the facilities.

If you live in Dallas and love cars, this place is heaven. They've got it all. Amazing cars and bikes that will captivate, energize, and motivate you, a restaurant to take in the whole experience, AND a coworking space. If you're a remote worker that has an automotive interest, forget working from home and work from the Shop Club. I'll need to add a few more cars to the collection to justify storage here but when it happens, there's only one place in Dallas where I'm doing it. When we went, my dad, girlfriend and I took a tour of the place. Our guide gave us the rundown on the facility and the unique stories of the cars inside. From new, multi-million dollar Ford GTs to vintage racing motorcycles, every type of automotive fantasy was represented well here. Can't wait to go back.

The Shop is an amazing place for car enthusiasts. They have a great staff that are super friendly and willing to answer any questions you might have. You can get a free tour of the building and if your a member you can use the garage to do any work on your car and they have mechanics there as well. Check out my YouTube video Shadow Tha_Streethog to see the review I did. I plan on becoming a member soon for sure!

The Shop Dallas is one of the most dynamic, fun and functional places to spend time that I’ve ever been to. 1) As a restaurant, I’ve found each dish is amazing and the service matches the food. The fact that you can have your lunch or dinner with a view of some of the world’s most beautiful and collectible cars makes this a place you really want to put on your list of must do experiences. 2) With the addition of a true barista in the lounge, it’s an outstanding place to get your coffee shop fix. 3) As a bar/lounge, the wood, leather and steel design along with its signature high industrial ceilings make it a very attractive place to hang out. The high end cocktails and friendly bartenders make this is a place you’ll want meet friends at time and time again. 4) Step up into a membership and things only get better. I’ve worked remotely from here in their members only lounge and conference rooms. I’ve installed a roll bar in one of my cars and coilovers on another in their 100% functional automotive garage. 5) Lastly, the people here are amazing. The staff are passionate about people and cars and it creates a super welcoming atmosphere. The Shop Dallas’ 5 stars are well earned. Don’t hesitate to go and see for yourself.

Tour was well worth the money. Some truly awesome and rare cars there. Our tour guide was great! Only complaint is that the website said (and I was told) that the groups are limited to eight people. Ours had 12-16 people in it making it crowded and harder to see and hear the guide. It was Father’s Day so they were busy but we booked weeks in advance. They should have kept the group smaller as advertised. Restaurant was booked weeks out so didn’t get to eat there but will be going back. It’s a great concept for car enthusiasts with the restaurant and bar and garage all in one!

Checked this place out during bike night. Really cool concept. Pay a membership fee and be able to store your car in a climate controlled warehouse and have access to exclusive member club areas as well as their garage for repairs. Be sure to check out their restaurant, Derby, as well!
