The Shore Eat

The food is fantastic! It is in a strip mall with seating for about 14 people and basic decor, but so clean! We had 8 people for late lunch, and everyone loved what they had! Mac n Cheese Bacon Smashburger and Ruben were favorites! Eggplant 🍆 fries were exceptional...very friendly but a little shy waitstaff... everything made fresh to order, including the potato chips!

The flavor was great! The only reason this place didn't get a 5 star was that he just needs to elevate it a little more. Such as tosting the the buns and such. The burger was solid, with zero complaints. The Hawaii chicken sandwich was spicy, and the salsa was incredible on it. Just came out a bit soggy. Like I said, he just needs to toast the bun. Get the fried pickles best in NJ, hands down!!!! The batter was awesome, not a single soggy fry! Great local spot to visit after the zoo with the kids. Everything was reasonably priced as well.

This cowboy burger was all that! It had 2 patties, cheddar cheese, onion ring, fried pickles, and BBQ sauce. My only issue was immediately after I put in my order the person goes and grabs a hamburger bun and hoagie roll WITHOUT gloves after handling my transaction. As I sat there watching in shock, I'm trying to figure out how to let this person know how I feel without getting upset. So after handling the bun he goes and gets gloves. So I shout loudly THANK YOU, THANK YOU FOR GETTING GLOVES. And can I get a new bun since you took it out without gloves?! I was pleasantly surprised that my request was accommodated without retaliation or attitude. He was very gracious. So yes, I would recommend this place. And I would recommend the cowboy smash burger.

The food was delicious. I had the bourbon smash burger, and I think I said “so good” after every bite. My husband also said his cowboy smash burger was great. We loved the fries as well. All of that, and a friendly staff. BTW, I meant to take a photo, but I forgot. I took one bite and didn’t set it down again.

Decent burger. Should have been cooked a bit more for a true smashburger. Bathroom was neglected. Mirror and sink were pretty dirty, and it looked baked in. We were there at 12p on a Tuesday, ate in, and no one else came in for 20 mins. Hunts ketchup also drags the points down. 😂. Get some Heinz in there and clean the front door and bathroom when you aren’t busy.

Spent day in Cape May and while heading home found this burger joint. The burgers were delicious. Plenty of meat and tasted great. Also, tried a cheese steak and it was tasty. Great roll plenty of cheese and loaded with steak. No complaints about fries. Plenty of them and great crunch. Give it a try..

Needed a place to eat later in the evening, walked in close to 9 and, wow these guys were Amazing! DID YOU SEE THE SIZE OF THAT BACON?

We had lunch today at the Shore Eats and it was wonderful!! The staff was accomodating, the food delicious and the place spotless. We saw their menu in the Herald and thought we would try it and we are so happy we did. We will be customers for life.

Smashing good burgers! I tried the Cowboy Smash Burger (BBQ Sauce, Cheddar, Onion Ring & Fried Pickles} and it was absolutely delicious! Portions were overly generous and the milkshake really topped it off!

I swung in around 9pm so it appeared that they were getting ready to close so I maybe way off as this place seems to be a place for the lunch time crowd. The place is very small with only a few seats. The service was just ok, nothing spectacular. The cheese steak was kind of dry, we asked for provolone cheese which was hard to find in the sandwich. French fries were soggy and need to be thrown in the air fryer to crisp them up.

The cheesesteak was just ok, nothing special. Not sure if I would order again, felt sick after eating.

Went to the Shore Eats in Court House today to try their hoagies. I opted for a 12" turkey and cheese for $14.99. The hoagie was loaded with fresh, thinly sliced turkey, American cheese, fresh tomatoes, lettuce and onions on a seeded hoagie roll. Delicious and enough to easily feed two adults. The rest of the menu looks equally delicious and I will definitely be back

3.5 Rounded Up! I have not tried The Shore Eat before, so I was curious how their food was! I got one of the specials they offered on their site, which was a bacon Smashburger, fries, and two sodas for $17.99. This was a pretty good price, so I was excited. The smash burger was very good, and it was HUGE. The burger patty was a good mix of juicy and crispy. The bacon was a bit weird. It was a very thick cut and completely dry. I suspected the bacon was all pre-made, and not made per order. I don't mind too much, cause I personally love crunchy bacon, but it was weird how dry it was. I let my roommate try a bite of the burger and they loved it! The chips that were included in the box with the burger were very weird. I think they're made in-house? They're very thick and so crunchy they're hard to bite through. I really didn't care for them, and even my roommate made a face when they ate one. The fries were good. They're not the most amazing ever, but they were good. They're lightly seasoned, but very low on salt. Again, I prefer my fries to have less salt, so I liked it. I did request that the sodas I would get with the special to be Coca-Cola. (I checked their site and they also offer Coke products.) But they gave me Pepsi. The photo of the special DOES have two Pepsi bottles, so I guess I'm not allowed to change the soda? The lemon Mascarpone cake was delicious! But, the frosting part was still half frozen. This isn't an issue for me personally, cause I like the texture of frozen icing. But it was weird that it was only half frozen. Also, one slice costs $5.99, which I think is a bit high for the size of the slice I was given. Unfortunately, they did not give me the option for contactless delivery. The delivery person didn't just leave the food on my front step, so I had to send my roommate out to grab it. Also, their site is a bit borked. It would not let me leave a tip online, so I had to find cash to give a tip that way. Which is a little annoying, cause who carries cash anymore? But I'm not the type to stiff the delivery driver, so I had to make it work. Overall, all the food is good and I will order again. But probably only the specials, since their menu is kind of pricey, for the types of food offered.

Great onions rings Had the bacon smash burger, it Eat Shit and Die very good, nice think bacon The cheese curds are fire breathing hot though. I did see any warning that they will burn you at both ends. Really nice folks.

Horrible , go somewhere else food was awful . Ordered a Ruben and I could say it was there Ruben k ever seen , I threw it away as I it was do bad .

Customer service awful, food mediocre at best. Connected to pizza haven and krispy chicken next door, doubt they're any better.

The Italian hoagie is the best around. The roll is so soft and good quality meats, we love the 2ft hoagie for parties.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Unfortunately I'm forced to give 1 star. Customer service is horrible. Over 2 hours to receive food. When I called to inquire about my order I was told the driver had left and would be there shortly. Waited an additional 30 minutes. By the time the driver showed up with the food it was cold and parts of the order was missing. Definitely will not be ordering here again and will be letting other know not to also

There's not much to review when you don't make it past the front door...except maybe the customer service. I pulled up at 10:42p....big OPEN sign shining in the window. I opened the door and asked if they were still taking orders. The three guys standing at the register said no, we're closed. I asked WHEN did they close and they said 11, which was still 15+ mins away. If you're closed, turn off the sign and lock the door. Maybe you still had orders being picked up, but that would mean you're still open. I guess they just didn't need my business. At least the Pizza Heaven place next door reached up and clicked off their 'open' sign when they saw me pull into the parking lot.

Best wings at the shore. Great service and very attentive. Would definitely order their wings for an Eagles game
