Evening meet up with friends for a few drinks. Our waiter was friendly and prompt…he did a great job handling a chaotic group. We had a couple burgers and fries. Very tasty burgers with an upscale appeal. I recommend The Shore Room for an evening by the shore. Can’t remember out waiter’s name…Hungarian smile gave us great service.

What a lovely patio overlooking the water. I met my sisters (I'm from out of town) for small plates & a cocktail, enjoying a late lunch. The service, food, atmosphere, and drinks were fantastic. The decor & aesthetic was Coastal meets California & contemporary - blues & whites throughout 💙. Absolutely lovely & such a fun afternoon.

Google
Beautiful spot to see the sunset. Beer was good. Me and my husband ordered the fish and chips and it was delicious. The fish was very fresh and crunchy (We were starving and completely forgot to take photos). It is definitely not the cheapest specially if you order cocktails but overall for the location is not a crazy amount either. The only downside is that service is a bit slow (it was also during Christmas Day). And it had rain the day before so the outside seating area was wet.

Staff was super nice. The drinks are great. From the looks of it they have a robust bar program.

Google
Fantastic craft drinks with excellent ocean views and professional and kind wait staff. Menu a little anemic but good enough for quick bites.

The Shore Room is a beautiful place with a relaxing atmosphere, delicious food, and excellent service. What made my experience truly special was Mark — he does his work with such dignity, professionalism, and genuine care that you feel instantly welcomed. His attention and warmth create a unique experience that makes guests feel valued and happy. Thank you, Mark, for making my visit unforgettable!

Google
The food menu is limited, but I really enjoyed the options that they have. Also, I learned that the burger can be made with a vegetarian black bean patty, which I didn’t try, but I’d be curious to try next time. They also have a nice selection of non-alcoholic drinks as well as specialty and traditional cocktails. Service is great, the view is nice, and there’s lots of cozy seating.

The Shore Room is a hidden gem that deserves a spotlight for its incredible small bites and craft cocktails. Nestled along the waterfront, this stylish bar and restaurant offer a perfect blend of relaxation and sophistication. The moment you step inside, you’re greeted by a warm ambiance, where nautical decor meets modern elegance. The menu is a delightful exploration of flavors, featuring small bites that are perfect for sharing. The crispy calamari is an absolute must-try, served with a zesty dipping sauce that perfectly complements its crunch. The charcuterie board showcases a selection of artisanal meats and cheeses, thoughtfully paired with house-made jams and pickles, making it a delightful starter. Now, let’s talk about the craft cocktails—each one is a work of art! The mixologists at the Shore Room are truly passionate about their creations. The signature "Shore Breeze" cocktail, with its refreshing blend of gin, cucumber, and elderflower, transports you straight to the seaside. Their attention to detail is evident in every sip. Whether you're looking for a casual evening or a celebratory night out, the Shore Room’s small bites and craft cocktails provide a memorable experience that keeps you coming back for more. Highly recommended!

Yelp
Honestly, what's not to love? Incredible view, delicious food & drinks, lovely wait staff, this place is an all around win for me. I come pretty regularly living not too far away because the view and Neptunes Crown has me hooked. I tend to bring my out of town guests here and even had my engagement party here. The food is great, I'm a big fan of the lobster roll, fries (with garlic aioli), and edamame. I love that there are fire pits and you can reserve them for a fee that then becomes F&B credit so its a great deal.

Yelp
I booked a vacation at Mission Pacific Beach, which is the sister hotel to Seabird, and stopped by here for a snack and some cocktails before my dinner reservation. We grabbed seats at the bar, and the bartenders couldn't have been nicer. They had great recommendations, and the TVs made it easy to catch the game. There's both indoor and outdoor seating with fire pits, which is a nice touch. The space is bright and definitely leans more family-oriented. Not exactly the vibe I usually go for in the evening, but still a solid setup. We had: *Captain's Quarters: Delicious and very liquor forward. *Lady of the Sea: Too sweet and a bit off. Couldn't put my finger on why. *Tempura Squash: Really good. The dip made it even better. *Lobster Roll: Just okay. A lot of sauce, which hid the quality of the lobster, and the chips on the side were way too spicy. Overall, it's a clean and well-kept spot, just a little too open and bright for my preference. Feels more business casual or family focused.

Yelp
Came here for my anniversary because I wanted to catch a nice sunset view and have some bites and drinks! It was a Tuesday around 6pm and all the pits were taken up already, but we were able to snag a spot outside near the pits( I also called in beforehand to try and reserve a pit, but they charge $270 to guarantee a spot). Food was mediocre. I really expected more from a hotel. We got the steamed mussels, oysters, lobster roll, and fries. Lobster roll tasted too fishy and just wasn't my favorite. I'm glad the server informed us that the oysters were on the larger side because I normally like the smaller ones. On the plus side the cocktails were good! We had an ube cocktail(ooh baby) and margarita(lily pad). The sunset here on a clear day is definitely worth it. But the view and drinks are prob the only things I'll come back for next time. Hopefully able to get a bonfire pit as well.

Yelp
The view here is just absolutely amazing and food was also delicious. It is pricey but worth it. I got the fish and chip and GF got the ahi poke bowl. Both dishes were so fresh and yummy. Our server was also very chatty and knowledgeable about items on the menu and drinks. Will have to come back and stay at the hotel and eat or drink here to enjoy the view.
google avatar

Yelp
If you get here at the right time, grab one of the outdoor tables and catch a beautiful sunset. If not, don't worry -- the inside is just as impressive. The hotel and bar pay close attention to detail, with a lot of great art pieces that make it feel like you've stepped into Cape Cod or somewhere far from Oceanside. The drinks were excellent, and the burger hit the spot. This is a great lounge with a well-thought-out vibe -- perfect for a casual night out or an easy escape from the usual scene. The servers have been there a while and know their stuff. It gets busy though

Yelp
absolutely loved the view and the hotel is super nice. the food is okay i think people mostly go for drinks and vibes. the focaccia was good and so was the fish the fries were just kinda soggy. service is decent!

Yelp
Came here for some patio time and got it What I ate: - Fish + Chips: This was ... okay. The fish itself was fried well. Fries were delicious but unremarkable. It came with and overly mayo drenched slaw. I feel like I may have ordered the wrong thing Pros: - That patio wrapped the corner of the hotel and had that inside/outside feel. The seating areas on the patio all had fire pits, and as the sun set they get very popular - The view! Right across from the water and the pier - Drink menu was pretty decent. A nice mix of cocktails, wines, beers - Staff was friendly, though as the bar got busier, the less I saw of him - Clientele seemed like a nice mix of visitors and local regulars - The vibe was right, at least for me. I had debated if I should check out the other hotel bar which was rooftop, but I could hear the loud music all the way down on street level and decided that wasn't the vibe for me. This bar was chill, and the seating was comfortable Cons: - I kind of wish there was a tad more shade. It was either sit on the patio side away from the pier and sit in the cold shade, or sit directly in the sun and get warm. It didn't help with the fire pits going. I ended up sitting at a fire pit that didn't work - The food... For the kind of ambiance of this bar I was disappointed at the food quality. It was just okay, very mediocre. Food menu was small - Parking I'm not sure what the price was to park at the hotel. I had wandered in off the street after parking at the pier. All day parking at the pier was $10. There is so much street parking, but I couldn't find any that accepted CC, nearly all the ones I saw were coin operated. This is why I ended up parking at the pier lot. I'm sure there are parking lots/structures in the area, but I didn't check. Would I come again? Sure, but not for the food.

Yelp
Amazing views. Service is scant. It took them at least 10 min to come back to me and tell me they were out of stock on the drink I'd ordered. Nonalcoholic menu is sparse.

Yelp
The food was delicious. Server was kind and attentive. We sat outside to watch the sun set and it was beautiful. They even gave us a blanket once it got chilly I will definitely be coming back
google avatar

Yelp
This is a beautiful lounge with creative decor and seating options. There is both a lovely indoor area and an outdoor area with fire pits. Wherever you choose to sit you can still enjoy the ocean view and watch the people stroll by and see the sunset. We sat outside and were protected from the sea wind by a plexiglass wall. Our service was great and our experience was very pleasant. We ordered some small plates and a bottle of Prosecco. Our food was delicious. We had the Edamame, Oysters, and Dirty Fries. I definitely recommend this place.
google avatar

MC F.

Yelp
You can't find a better view to enjoy with your cocktail! This hotel bar is very chill, and the service was friendly and attentive, as well. I was able to get some work done on my laptop while enjoying a White Russian and some unhealthy but delicious "trashy" French fries. The beach view proved to be incredibly relaxing and inspiring, and the kindness of the servers was very much appreciated.

Yelp
A nice spot off the balcony of the seabird resort. If you're looking to watch the sunset, this is a good place to do it. They have some fun drinks and some decent food. I'm always happy when a bar stocks Sipsmith Gin. A martini made with Sipsmith is as good as it gets. They also have a nice cocktail list, which sees regular changes. The Green curry muscles were nice and our server did a nice job of taking care of us on the patio. A big disappointment at The Shore Room is with the 6% service charge. The excuse for this was that it helps the management offset the cost of a minimum wage increase. Seriously? I asked to have this charge removed. and our server said that the management would not allow it. The server finally offered us a 10% locals discount. What crazy logic!!! The Shore Room believes it's my responsibility to help them offset their labor costs. Maybe next, they will demand their customers pay for their solar panels. This stuff is ridiculous, especially when there are many other good spots within spitting distance, which don't Include these bogus fees. Our server seemed genuinely embarrassed and said that management was working to remove the charges in the future. I don't believe that for a second, because I asked the management to have the charge removed from my bill right then, and they refused. There's some potential here at the Shore House, but no food or drink, or view is worth a management who doesn't respect their customers. I'm in Oceanside regularly and I won't be going to the Shore Room until things change.

Yelp
Excellent victuals and friendly service. Nice ambiance for relaxing vibes. Recommend.

Yelp
If you're looking for amazing vibe and killer views of the beach, this is the place to be their french fries somehow leave me looking forward to the next trip back and the views never get old parking can be a little tricky but other than that it's absolutely a gym and somewhere. I definitely love to take friends and family whenever they are visiting.

Yelp
My friends and I were staying at the Seabird Resort this past weekend and went down to The Shore Club for drinks and dessert after dinner this past Saturday night (4/26). We were lucky enough to get fire pit seating on the patio and the ambience was nice. The service, however, was weird. I had initially ordered a decaf oatmilk cappuccino to pair with our chocolate cake dessert order, but unfortunately our server came back to inform me that had run out of decaf. No problem. I said I'd just take a glass of regular milk instead to pair with the cake. When he came back and handed me the milk it looked a little off but I took a sip and realized it wasn't regular milk, but appeared to be oatmilk. I flagged him down and let him know that I had actually wanted a glass of regular milk, not oatmilk, and I even apologized for the misunderstanding. He gave me an incredulous look and stalked off to get me regular milk. I told my friends that the oatmilk tasted really off anyways- one of them took a sip and confirmed it had gone rancid and there were even solid granules floating around as it had started to separate. The oddity didn't end there, and I regret not bringing the rancid oatmilk to his attention, but it was my birthday and I was trying not to make a fuss and just enjoy my evening with my friends. A little while later he came out with two blankets and gave me one "for the baby" (I'm very visibly almost 8 months pregnant), but didn't offer a blanket to either of my two friends. He proceeded to take the other blanket to the table next to us and wrap it around a woman sitting there. It was really odd to not offer my friends blankets as well as it was starting to get chilly, or at least say something like he'd try to hunt two more down. After a few minutes we asked to close out so we could move inside because it was getting cold. At this point he went and retrieved the blanket he had given the other party (they had left) and tried to give it to one of my friends saying sorry he hadn't given it to her earlier he gave it to a kid (why did he say this? We literally saw him put it on the woman at the other table?). Anyways, it was a really weird encounter overall.

Yelp
Was able to sit inside with our dog. Cocktails. Dirty filthy vodka martini with blue cheese olives was spot on. Old fashioned with luxardo cherries and of course Elijah Craig was perfect. Both of us had house burger with add on of bacon. Burgers did not come with fries, so we ordered one serving for both of us and was just perfect. Served by the two bartenders together who took great care of us. Only suggestion. Dog menu.
google avatar

Emma S.

Yelp
My sister and I decided to sit on the patio and have a drink before a scheduled sound bath at the spa. I mean you cant beat the ocean view and the decor inside the bar is absolutely beautiful. The staff is very nice and the drinks are great!
google avatar

Deisy G.

Yelp
We didn't get served. We arrived at around 2:50 pm and told to sit anywhere and there were 2 servers going around. We sit at 2:59, by 3:17 no one came to our table. We left, by then I didn't want anything. Prior to that, I did go to the bar to ask if we ordered there, he said I could but again informed there were servers going around. So I figured we'd wait while I looked at the menu I had grabbed at the bar. It was disappointing. I've been there before just for drinks, not food and I really enjoyed it. Just disappointed this time, especially while we were walking out seeing that other ppl were having their orders taken even tho they arrived after.

Mike L.

Yelp
**Warning** This place will charge you a 6% surcharge and not disclose it unless you ask. What happens is that the server will hold the point of sale device and read you your itemized bill. Once you agree it is accurate, they will hand you the device with the various tip options (in this case 20%, 22%, 25%, and custom). You do not see the itemized receipt - You have to ask. I asked the server to remove the 6% surcharge because I would rather tip the server vice the business (who is already charging a premium for their food & beverage). The server stated that he couldn't find his manager and it would be easier just to deduct it from his tip. This is really so lame and needs to stop. Raise your prices and remove the surcharge. It's insulting. We won't be coming here again and will be spreading the word about this shady gimmick.

Yelp
Great environment! Delicious cocktails! Stellar service. Had a date here and we Closed the joint down. Sat right outside in front of the fire pit.

Michelle S.

Yelp
I have to say, Christian, Kyle, Jalen, Kat were absolutely astonishing. They kept conversation with everyone and gave us amazing tasting drinks quickly and they were sooo efficient in their mixology. I will definitely be coming back n my next trip to oceanside !! The bar is worth it !

Yelp
The Shore Room was one of a few places we wanted to try within the Seabird Resort in Oceanside. My new puppy had a half birthday and our senior dog checked off another year, all in the same week we were celebrating the husband's birthday. To begin the weekend of non-stop celebrations, we began our Friday night at the Shore Room. It was for the newest "Yappy Hour" in town, served on the spectacular oceanfront patio. This is the perfect place to take in a sunset, while sipping on cocktails and enjoying appetizers with your furry family members. This special happy hour for the pups, was scheduled from 4-7pm. When we arrived, just prior to 4pm, every table and seat on the terrace was taken. Only one couple had their dog with them besides us. We were fortunate they left at 5pm and we landed a sweet table. I would suggest the Shore Room reserve a few tables or a small section for those bringing dogs to the scheduled "Yappy Hour". It might also be helpful to move the event to a weeknight when the hotel is not as busy in general. Promotions are to create more interest. All is well that ends well. The husband and I shared perfectly breaded calamari, the pear and bleu cheese flatbread, and we enjoyed individual slices of traditional cheesecake. I couldn't resist the pairing of a Muscato. It cuts right through the cheese creating a balance of flavors. Note: The pups indulged on pup cakes and slept like babies. #Oceanside #TheShoreRoom #YappyHour #PerfectPairing

Yelp
First of all enjoy the food along with the friendly attitude staff. I recommend this place to my parents and friends

Madeline F.

Yelp
Love love love this spot. From the amazing decor to the great apps and drinks, this is the spot to be. The bar menu has a variety of very tasty items. I got the burger and it was delish. The drinks are very nice and the service is surprisingly great, not good but great. Hope to be back many times.
google avatar

Michelle S.

Yelp
Love the Shore Room. Hotel bars and restaurants can be hit or miss. The Shore Room definitely hits! Definitely an effortlessly chic California vibe. We went one Sunday early afternoon and enjoyed drinks and a variety of small bites like the seabird burger. As a local, this is one of the best places in Oceanside for drinks with an ocean view.
google avatar

Emily S.

Yelp
Breathtaking cocktail bar with views situated inside The Seabird Hotel. We have gone here for past 2 years and the bar offers a casual area inside and outside of hotel. There are fire pits outside if you are fortunate to get one and nice sitting areas inside of you cannot. They offer small bites and cocktails themed to their hotel. We tried all the appetizers since there was a group of us and this was our small bites dinner. The flat bread pizza, charcuterie board, and French fries were deliciously made paired with a lychee cocktail. The shishito peppers were my least favorite and the ahi tuna was my fave. Cabot wait to come back!
google avatar

Sheila C.

Yelp
What a great place to come and watch a beautiful So-Cal sunset. The vibe is upscale and classy, the view is amazing. The drinks were 50/50, the Maiden Voyage was not very tasty (very sour and bland), but the Black Pearl was outstanding. I can only imagine how much creamier it would have been with the cinnamon marshmallow cream (allergies prevented the cream being added). We came for a happy hour drink and it did not disappoint. Looking forward to returning soon!
google avatar

April H.

Yelp
Love this new addition to Oceanside. I was always so surprised at the lack of bars overlooking the water. This is a beautiful bar inside a hotel that faces the coast. They have a large outdoor patio area as well as an inside bar in addition to lots of random indoor seating areas. There are tons of windows so you have a nice view no matter where you sit. My friend and I said it felt like we were hanging out at a rich relatives beach house. The drinks were good but the service was a little underwhelming.
google avatar

Amanda J.

Yelp
Nice place to have a drink and bite to eat. The allure here are the outdoor seats. At night, the fire pits seem to fill up fast. The minute a fire pit table was free my mom told me to go snag it. As soon as I got there someone else had beat me to it already! Service was great and the cocktails were ok. I love the little garnishes! Different, but drinkable. I think I'll stick to the basics next time!
google avatar

Pat S.

Yelp
Just left there, the atmosphere is very nice and the service was pleasant but the drink menu & appetizer menu were disappointing. I ordered a Mai Tai and the waiter suggested the cabana boy drink so I went for it! Got my drink and it was filled with ice, I couldn't even see the drink just ice! Took a sip and it was awful, it had a after taste to it! I told the waiter and he tried to get the bartenders attention but they were in broiled in conversation that he didn't want to interrupt them! At that point I chose a glass of champagne because I didn't want another mishap! I have to say it's a beautiful place but for a 20.00 drink I would hope to at least have a decnt drink. We are at another location and it's top notch, food is excellent and the service & drinks have been awesome! We are locals and always looking for new places to try but unfortunately this experience was disappointing!!.
google avatar

Reyn H.

Yelp
The view is second to none and the fire pits are a goto for my wife and I that live near Bonsall (~20 mins) away. Great for bites and wine/mixed drinks.
google avatar

Jarek M.

Yelp
Perfect bar location for afternoon and evening drinks. This bar is located inside a new hotel that was recently built in the heart of beautiful Oceanside. The inside and outside of the bar in very nicely decorated and organised. There are plenty of seating areas to choose from. Some offer fire places to keep you warm which also creates lovely ambiance. The bartenders/mixologists are super friendly, attentive, and most importantly are knowledgeable. They can advise you on your drink selections. There are good options on the menu for cocktails, draft beers, and wines. Definitely this is the bar to come back to!

Abraham F.

Yelp
Every body that works here is sooo nice and friendly. We had Mark serve us, he went over and beyond making sure we were comfortable and recommending best drinks of the house. Always came back every so often to check up on us. Definitely a chill place I would come back to. Firepits definitley seperates them from other bars around. Thank you
google avatar

Michelle W.

Yelp
Very nice ambiance. Beach view! Small area to enjoy some snacks and drinks. Staff were really nice. It started to get busy around 6pm, Valentine's evening. The moscato was amazing, so good!
google avatar

Lorrie Y.

Yelp
I love The Seabird! And having this gem at their hotel bar is amazing! There's lots of places to sit for all types of occasions - covered outdoor, uncovered outdoor, ocean view, lobby view. And the drink selections are plentiful!
google avatar

Uppercrust Z.

Yelp
Food- Market Salads w/ add on olives. This is a really good simple fresh salad. I have had it twice and love it. Service is good, cool staff. Location is the best. Right across from the beach. Worth the drive to come here
google avatar

Elisa G.

Yelp
This review as long overdue! I love this hotel in Oceanside and the Shore Room is a super cool place to hang outside on outdoor patio. We sat at the bar and had crudo, it was PFS (pretty freakin' spicy). The best part part of it was the bartender (whose name escapes me right now) was super cute and attentive probably because my 26 year old girlfriend who I was eating with was heavily flirting with him. Lol
google avatar

Enrique L.

Yelp
Service was great, decoration and ambiance was top quality, but the food... very disappointing! It had no taste, despite it looking good. Felt like straight out of the freezer. I wouldn't order food from here unless that's your only option.

Nancy W.

Yelp
Avoid ordering the spicy tuna bowl. It gave me horrible food poisoning yesterday that resulted in a trip to urgent care.
google avatar

Kim N.

Yelp
What a beautiful hotel bar in the SeaBird(hyatt) featuring: the ocean! This bar offers decent food with some spectacular cocktails. I really enjoyed the sea of cortez and the salty seadog. My husband was very happy about the blue cheese stuffed olives available for his martinis
google avatar

Anna C.

Yelp
I love a good hotel bar, and this one doesn't disappoint. It's a part of the Seabird Hotel and has it's own entrance. They have a great view (that is temporarily marred by construction fencing), and a gorgeous airy indoor area with some outdoor fire pit seating as well. The drinks are more craft cocktail focused and well-executed. If you're local, make sure to let them know for a discount!
google avatar

Marcella N.

Yelp
Amazing ambience, service, and delicious cocktails! We went here a couple of times during our stay. They have a great view of the ocean, warm fire pits, and cozy couches with pillows. I loved the black pearl cocktail (an espresso martini) and a couple others with names I don't recall. It was a great experience.
google avatar

Joyce W.

Yelp
The ambiance of the place was so good! We went close to sunset and it's right by the water. If you sit outside there are fire pits and heaters since it gets a little chilly at night! The mussels are a must try! We also ended up getting a free drink which was so nice of them!
google avatar

KayAnna S.

Yelp
Great location with a wonderful view of the ocean. Sunsets galore! Plenty of seating indoors and out. Staff is super friendly and quick. They have a lot of signature cocktails and my go to is the Maiden Voyage as I always go for lychee. Good for groups and for dinner or just drinks and apps!
google avatar

Brooke S.

Yelp
Every time I go here I always enjoy my time. Not only is the environment great, but the bar staff is so friendly & has great conversation with the customers. Atreyu makes a mad cocktail here's him in action : Would definitely recommend coming here. They have specialty cocktails as well as draft beer & kombucha!
google avatar

Christine D.

Yelp
The rooftop bar has a lovely view of the water. Their drink list is extensive. The food list, not so much. But their charcuterie board was delicious. There is also a covered other bar with nice ambiance when you want to get out of the sun. We really liked this place.

Dennis H.

Yelp
Fantastic ambience Across street from ocean Bartenders super friendly Great cocktails We will be back again and agai

Yelp
You have a sunset vibe with great drinks, snacks, and a fire pit overlooking the sunset. My only recommendation that doesn't make this a 5 star review is having servers come out to the fire pits. You have to go to the bar to order yourself.
