The Sidecar

Leticia greeted me warmly and was so kind and friendly to this solo traveler. Benito and his colleagues ( Sebastian? ) are excellent mixologists. I think my two favorite bars in Dublin were the Sidecar and the Cobblestone; both very different and unique in their own special way. Many thanks again to Leticia and Benito for the wonderful Irish welcome. I purchased the beautifully prepared book of special drinks as a reminder of fun times at The Westbury. Slainte!

We absolutely love coming to The Sidecar at The Westbury, and our recent visit was another reminder of why it’s one of the best cocktail bars in Dublin. The cocktails are consistently exceptional — beautifully balanced, creative, and crafted by incredibly talented bartenders. It’s five-star hotel service from start to finish. We originally stopped in early on Saturday afternoon, but it was understandably very busy. Even so, Lettica, the hostess, was absolutely incredible. She was warm, welcoming, and genuinely accommodating, even though the space was packed. We decided to return on Saturday evening, and we’re so glad we did. Lettica remembered us and graciously arranged a table for four. The first table available was a bit small, but as soon as a larger one opened up, she moved us without us even asking. That level of attention to detail and care genuinely elevated the entire experience. Her professionalism, kindness, and hospitality were a real highlight and made the night feel special. The entire staff was wonderful, but Lettica truly stood out and deserves recognition. We always enjoy The Sidecar for its drinks and atmosphere, but this visit was exceptional thanks to her. Highly recommend — top-tier cocktails, impeccable service, and a team that goes above and beyond. We can’t wait to return. Cheers! 🥂

Sebastian was awesome. He showed up with an entire martini cart, made an incredible martini and already had extra juice to provide me to accompany my martini (i ordered the pickle martini and love extra brine). Recommend this place especially for a Saturday night date night !!!!

I recently visited The Westbury ,The Sidecar with my colleagues and we had an exceptional experience. From start to finish, the service was impeccable and we felt genuinely welcomed. A special thank you to Leticia Torinelli, who took outstanding care of us throughout our visit. Her professionalism, attentiveness, and warm hospitality truly elevated our experience. Fabulous cocktail bar..was there Remembrance Sunday for drinks and food. Our host Lettica was fantastic so welcoming and professional. She had to deal with two incredibly ignorant customers beside us but handled it so well. Love the bar and hotel. A platinum gem in Dublin ❤️🥂

What a bar. We had an amazing time here. Particular huge thank you to Sebastian who was our bartender and made our experience so fun and special! Even got to practice our Spanish! We’ll be back just to practice our grammar and drink his cocktails. Amazing.

Leticia from the sidecar bar was simply outstanding and her attention to detail and brilliant advice in cocktails made our weekend, we simply loved it

We had a wonderful experience at The Sidecar. My stomach was feeling a little off so I ordered a mock tail. Our server made sure that I was happy with what I ordered and even gave me non alcoholic rose before my drink came out. My boyfriend ordered a Grey Goose Martini and said it was wonderful! Usually places will charge equal value for the price of the mock tail as the cocktail and we were pleased that they didn't. The vibe was very gatsby-feeling and elegant. It was warm, comfortable, and we had a lovely experience.

Make a reservation as this place is busy. Service was hit and miss but overall a nice place for a drink before or after dinner. Extensive cocktail and decent wine selection. The olives they serve are awesome. It's going to require an open wallet as it us pricey.
