If I could leave negative stars, I would. Apple Maps has the hours wrong for this location. It says they close at 10 pm instead of 9 pm, so I placed an order online through the simple Greek website at 9 pm. The order went through, and I got a notification saying my order would be ready at 9:15 pm. I show up at 9:15 pm, and a guy who is working tells me they close at 9 pm and that they canceled my order. I was never notified that my order was canceled, and the payment went through. Without any attitude, I say, "Okay, can I get a refund then?".
The nice guy says he'll get his manager, so he does. The manager comes out already upset and with an attitude. She aggressively told me that they canceled my order and they could do nothing. I said, "I understand that, but I still paid for it, so may I get a refund?" She rudely told me I needed to contact the delivery service I ordered from. I calmly, but clearly frustrated, said to her that I ordered from the restaurant's direct website and only they could give me a refund. She then picked up a receipt and shoved it in my face, saying, "I'm not doing anything. I already closed out." At this point, I was frustrated because the store hours were wrong on Apple Maps, allowing me to believe I could order at 9 pm. The order went through without any notification of being canceled, and when I walked in and asked for a refund, as should be expected, the manager was extremely disrespectful and unhelpful. I asked to take a picture of my order receipt to get the refund the following day, and before I walked out, I told the manager, and this is quoted precisely, "You didn't need to have such an attitude with me. I was calmly asking for a refund". She blew up and started yelling that this was not her fault and cursing me out. At this point, I'm fed up because I also did nothing wrong. It's not my fault your hours are listed incorrectly, and I'm sorry, but an order being placed at precisely 9 pm is not the end of the world. You could have made the order. I understand why they didn't, but don't act like I'm wrong or ruining your day by asking for a refund. So when I turned around to leave, I said, "Well then, you should change your hours on maps," and then, I'm not going to lie; I flipped her the bird while walking out. That gave her NO right to do what she did next at her place of work. It was extremely unprofessional and dangerous. She CHASED me outside and tried to fight me. She was screaming at me the whole time. I stood there and told her I would not fight her, and she kept egging me on, hands raised, ready to attack me.
Meanwhile, I still had my key, phone, and giant water bottle in my hands, standing in a relaxed stance. She continued to curse me out and asked me to stick around until she got off to fight her. I obviously am not going to do this because I'm an actual adult, and all I wanted was food and/or a refund. This happened tonight, on 6/11/24, at 9:15 pm., so whoever was the female manager closing on this day should be fired. If you have cameras, please watch the cameras as well. This woman chased me out of her place of work, still wearing her uniform, attacking me for asking for a refund... I will leave this review on every single review site if she is not reprimanded. People should know that these are the type of employees this company values. I will be coming in tomorrow morning for a refund and to verify this woman is reprimanded.
