This morning I stopped into the Siren Hotel cafe and had one of the most exquisite experiences I have had in a very long time. The entire space feels like a European parlor tucked inside Detroit, with deep velvet seating, carved mirrors, soft lighting, and the kind of quiet elegance that makes you want to cancel the rest of your day. But the star was the honey latte with sea salt. Truly the best I have ever had in my life. It tastes like caramel sunshine but somehow lighter and better for you. Perfectly balanced and silky. If you go, i’d obviously recommend it, but they have their own in-house syrups, etc. so it’d be hard to say just get that. I also grabbed their pain au chocolat which they source from a local bakery, and it was unreal. Flaky, warm, buttery, and somehow both delicate and decadent. Everything else there is house made which you can feel immediately in the quality. If you are in Detroit, put this place on your list. It is a little oasis where the coffee tastes like a luxury in itself and the atmosphere makes you want to stay a while. Special shout-out to Mona the latte master & Alyssa who made my ordering experience incredible!

Fantastic cafe!! Both my partner and I know close to nothing about coffee, but needed a caffeine boost. The barista was so helpful in guiding us to a coffee flavor that she thought would fit our needs (low coffee flavor) best, and offered to make a different drink if we didn’t like it. The coffee was perfect and the giant chocolate croissant was delicious! No complaints!

I cannot believe it took us this long while living downtown to try out The Siren Café. The ambience is charming with a variety of seating options. It is located on the main floor of a beautiful hotel. Usually, we are not impressed with hotel coffee shops but this is an exception. We ordered a flat white (love that they have this on the menu!), iced vanilla latte, turkey egg and cheese wrap, and a chocolate croissant. The coffee was perfect with the espresso having all the right flavor. The latte was perfectly portioned between vanilla, ice, milk, and espresso. My flat white was lovely. The turkey egg and cheese wrap was out of this world! I was not expecting it to be that delicious. The wrap is more of a croissant flavor than a tortilla flavor and it was so good. The chipotle aioli sauce on the side was the perfect companion. My partner loved her chocolate croissant and I ate it before I could try a bite. Between the indoor seating and the beautiful outdoor patio and terrace, this is a must visit! We will definitely be back.

The coffee here is exceptional. Matcha was the best I’ve ever had and I’m a matcha addict. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and knows what to recommend. Mona helped me decide on a lavender matcha with blackberry cold foam and it was delicious. Service was extremely quick, she even brought it out to my table. Can’t recommend this place enough. Shout out to the lead barista alexi we had a great conversation.

I’m from out of town (up north area Marquette) and stayed at the Siren hotel and this cafe on the bottom floor was amazing. The best latte I’ve ever had! And add the cold foam! It’s soo good!

Love this sweet little coffee shop♥️ We are in town from Denver for the Game Above Bowl game and I’m always looking for a good coffee shop.

Aesthetic place! I loved every corner. Coffee was mouthwatering, I got a cream cheese and jalapeño turn over, and it was the same as delicious. Friendly staff. Super comfy. Elegant. I will be back to stay in one of the rooms. This place is a must visit. It's across the Detroit opera house.

This coffee shop is a hidden gem, serving amazing coffee that you might not even notice at first. The barista, Alyssa, is incredibly skilled at making beautiful latte art and is also very friendly. We highly recommend trying their café latte and the quiche. Definitely worth a visit for great coffee and service!

Yelp
Very cool little coffee shop in a hotel - we were in town for the lions game on thanksgiving and this ended up being the perfect place to drop in and get breakfast. They had premade sandwiches and baked goods, the coffee was great and the service was on point. Will definitely be going back... plus the building is beautiful.

Yelp
I've attempted to get coffee and/or pastries from this place 3 weeks in a row. Every time, the sign is posted "We will be right". I waited 15 mins and even came back later.. no one ever available to serve the customer.

Yelp
Overall lovely place in the entrance of a hotel. The decor is really enjoyable, the staff friendly, the latte delicious. The parking is terrible, as you're in the middle of Detroit. But other than that, definitely a place to visit.

Yelp
Detroit charming boutique spot. Though I haven't stayed at this hotel, I decided to give their breakfast a shot based on rave reviews. The setup is adorable, resembling a diner with a cozy atmosphere. Everything is made to order, and the kitchen setup is visible, adding a unique touch. The seating is snug, creating an intimate vibe. The eggs, in particular, are as fluffy as clouds. While the food was good, it didn't quite hit the "OMG" level for me. Still, a delightful experience in this cute and small boutique hotel.

Yelp
This was a wonderful place. The barista was engaging and excellent (Alexia (sp?)). The compelling reason to go here is the space as people have already mentioned and how quiet it is. The one negative is that the seating looks period perfect but really needs to be reupholstered. the fabric doesn't look that worn but the cushions and springs are shot. Be careful to avoid using the parking structure unless you are going to be there all day. We came out after about 2 hours and the bill was $25. Note the structure is not associated with the hotel so it's not about them.

Yelp
I got a hot hazelnut latte and it was absolutely delicious!!!!!! This was probably THEE best coffee Iv'e ever had, no lie! lol it was that good. We also stayed at the hotel which was an interesting stay, the room was quite small, not many amenities inside of the room itself; however, the cafe coffee was bomb and I definitely recommend! The service was eloquent, from the barista to the front desk of the hotel.
