Surprisingly nice museum cafe. Great atmosphere, the friendliest staff, and good coffee and baked goods. I had their signature coconut cold brew and liked it a lot. The coconut water tricked me into tasting dark chocolate notes, which of course is nice for coffee. It won't be for everyone but their regular coffees are surely great too because the coffee itself in the cold brew was excellent. This is a perfect kind of place for coffee and cafe and reading nook, etc. lovers

I don't usually hang out in the Upper East Side, but when I do, I intend to come back to this cool cafe, housed in the Frick's makeshift museum. The place is super spacious, visually appealing and has a bunch of seating, which makes it a pretty decent spot to kick it back with a book. The coffee is so-so, but the ham croissant was top notch and made up for it. It can get crowded on weekends, so you might have to wait around a few minutes for a seat. Outdoor seating is available, which looks like it would be great if it were a bit warmer out. Apparently this place is closing in March, so stop by while you still can.

I stumbled upon this hidden gem, a cozy coffee shop founded by two sisters. Their coconut coffee is unique, unfortunately I am not sure I liked it but luckily they offer regular espresso bar as well. The best part? They've got a wonderful seating area, perfect for getting lost in a book or working on your laptop. And, they even have a charming backyard.

This beautiful cafe located underneath The Frick has the most amazing coffee. Love love love their Coconut Cold Brew and I love that they have many different non dairy milk options. All employees are so nice and really take the time to get to know you. I will always make a stop at this cafe when I’m in the city.

From someone that had to stop drinking coffee because of anxiety, this cold brew is SUPERIOR!!! Not only taste delicious but the coconut water makes you feel hydrated all day!!! Their new location is the perfect spot to work remote and im sure Tina & Yami (owner’s) will make you feel like home and change your day with their smiles and sweet personality!!! They now offer hot coffee as well as light bites and you can get their cold brew bottles to go!! You are going to love it!

The SisterYard hands down has the most delicious and unique coffee in New York City. Their Coconut Cold Brew is unlike anything I’ve ever tasted! You can get it as a cold beverage or as a hot one, and the plant-based milk selection is 👏🏼. They offer amazing pastry and other food options, beautiful spacious seating area within the Frick and you don’t need a museum ticket to enjoy the café. There’s also free wifi making it a great spot to work from. Don’t forget to take a bottle home!

I'm not sure I entered in the wrong way but I went into a different... museum (?) entrance and had security do a quick search around. Then proceeded to walk down a quite large staircase down to the cafe. The coffee itself was decent but quite expensive for what it is. I guess you're paying for the aesthetic of the place though. Coffee: 7/10 Service: 6/10 Atmosphere: 9/10 Value: 6/10

I have made coconut coffee cold brew at my house for years, I looked online to see if anyone had thought to sell this and of course came across The SisterYard. I knew I had to get down and try their product against what I make at home. I made it down this past weekend and must say it was just as good as my home brew I make. Coconut water coffee is so much more hydrating and naturally sweet which eliminates the need to alot of added sugar and their brew holds true of that as well. I also liked that you can really taste the toasted coconut flavor as well. Aside from the coffee being top notch, the sisters were super nice, the location is amazing with TONs of seating. Definitely worth coming here to check it out and give it a try.

PRO TIP: They have pecan milk here as an added non-dairy milk option! At the bottom of the Frick museum lies this coffee spot pumping out some quality coffee. Overall, solid and def worth a visit especially if you're curious about trying their pecan milk. I tried their cappuccino and can't say that there was any special latte art and it tasted just fine - not the best but def not the worst. The service was super friendly and they have a selection of baked goods. I tried the ginger molasses cookie, which wasn't bad either. The UES struggles to find good options for coffee/baked goods, but this place is a welcome addition and convenient location. Beautiful space, and lots of seating too with restrooms in the back. If you work or live around here, def recommend trying on your quest to find your favorite bakery. Also nice place to maybe get some work done in the area in a spacious place.

Ohmygoodnessssss. This place is INCREDIBLE !!! I have never seen such a large coffee spot with essentially limitless seating and free wifi !! And the pictures speak for themselves ! Absolute gem of a coffee/work spot. The coffee itself is brewed with coconut, and I thought it was pretty good. They said the coconut takes away some of the acidity of the coffee, which I would say it wasn't as harsh as I usually find coffee. Doesn't matter tho, this place is gorgeous !

Great cafe with Wi-Fi & plenty of tables. I had a very good chai coffee and everyone else enjoyed their drinks - cold brew, matcha This place is so popular that they ran out of pastries by the end of the day! Service was great and the baristas were pleasant/ kind. I just wish they were open Monday-Wednesdays. Ps they check your large bags when you come in as you have to go through the frick entrance and won't allow (obvious) outside food / drinks. I did see a security guard at one point kicking people out for drinking from their reusable water bottles...

Lovely wooden tables, a pleasing green view and well-made matcha lattes, easy to spend many hours at this very cozy cafe.

The ambiance of SisterYard was amazing for a morning of working by the big windows of the Frick Museum. We spent an hour here right at opening, which was 11am due to the holiday. It feels more spacious than most cafes in the area, and there were plenty of tables open. Free wifi! I don't drink coffee, but my husband tried their coconut coffee, and he said it was decent - neither would go out of his way for it, but if we were there again, he would order it. I ordered the hot chocolate, which was nice. We both ordered a different quiche. I had the feta and spinach, which was vegetarian. The quiche felt a bit wetter than most, but I give this place 5 stars purely for the ambiance and availability as a writing/work space.

Came here to do some work and enjoy a cup of coffee and I thought it was a great place to work! The inside of the cafe has a huge window, allowing for tons of natural lighting. There's also plenty of space and seating, so you don't have to be sitting near others while study/working/chatting with friends. I ordered a simple latte and the staff was so kind. The latte took about 7-8 minutes though, which is a bit longer than I would expect especially when there wasn't anyone else in line. I also thought the coffee was only okay. I understand they only do coconut milk, but in the end the coffee just had an off-taste and was a bit bland (and I only drink my coffee with alternative, plant-based milks). Overall, while it is a cute place to study or stay to chat in after the gallery, I'm not sure I would come back for the coffee.

Great cafe for studying. Spacious and plenty of large tables. Love how it's located in the basement of the museum, so I can also get a drink after enjoying some art. Got the fall special pumpkin latte, which was really good. Would come back.

Pleasantly surprised how beautiful this place is, even having an outdoor seating area. My latte was delicious, could definitely taste the quality of the espresso. I love a good almond croissant and this one by far is top 3. Definitely worth stopping by if you're in the area.

This place has popped off at smorgasburg but I'm not gonna lie... it's not for me. I understand it's healthy, but the taste was just not there. The coconut flavor was weird and since there's zero sugar or flavor it tasted so bland

I've been drinking coffee for as long as I can remember, as a good Colombian does. However, NEVER had I tried such a well-balanced and rich, yet smoooth coffee concentrate. Do yourself a favor and go try this amazing, LIFE CHANGING SisterYards invention, with a side of the yummiest sandwiches they just released to the public!!! 1000/10

If you love a good cup of coffee (hot or cold), do yourself a favor and get some from The SisterYard. I've been a huge fan since I first had their cold brew at Smorgasburg, and it always hits the spot. It's so good you'll want a second cup. Or third, in my case.

Staff was so friendly and sweet, but the coconut cold brew coffee was truly one of the most horrendous drinks I've had in NYC. Place is super cute tho!

Delicious, unique cold brew coffee (coffee beans brewed in coconut water). The pastries aren't bad, either.

After ordering and paying for my Americano, the barista asked "is a drip coffee ok? it's basically the same thing to some people". No sir, no it's not. you're just being lazy. He proceeded to put grounds in and use a distributor without tamping the coffee. (I didn't even see a tamper on the table). Basically paid $4 for a single shot (even though he said it's a double shot, it filled only half of the 3oz shot glass) untampered coffee. Wasn't even allowed to take my own water down into the coffee shop as my bag was searched at the entrance. Lots of seating though, and good workspace. overall experience was negative unfortunately. and seating not very comfortable.

Really unique coconut coffee. It's not bitter, just slightly sweet. I hate sugary coffee, so this was a stretch for me to try. I loved it though, just got it black. Wife had the latte and figures it may be her favorite ever.

Wow, what an experience! It is unparalleled to any dinning experience in Miami. Tina and Yami were amazing host and great teachers. Everything we made was delicious and healthy. Can't say enough about the beautiful decor and welcoming atmosphere...it made it even more special! Love, love, love the whole experience and can't wait to go back and try another class!

The SisterYard is so wonderful, I wish I could hang here every day. Great vibe. These guys have a terrific menu too. Crew is incredibly pleasant and can help you with everything. I had a wonderful experience here at The SisterYard.

Such an elevated experience! Yami and Tina are both full of passion for what they do, and it is clearly evident in the dishes as well as the space and ambiance that they are able to deliver!

The obvious of this experience is the cooking of your own healthy meal with the help of a talented chef (Yami) and the detailed information of what you are eating from the knowledgeable nutritionist (Tina). However, the secret behind this amazing place is the attention to detail and the customer service you will not find with any other cooking experience. From the nature inspired decor with handcrafted ornaments throughout the yard, to the creative coasters made from recycled delivery boxes and recycled wine bottle glasses. What I truly love about this place is how Yami and Tina managed to bring me back to my childhood at grandma's house were the entire family would expend quality time together with just a simple meal prepared with love. Thank you for that, my grandmother is smiling from above! Can't wait for my next visit!

Such a unique and wonderful experience! We had an amazing time at The SisterYard, from cooking to the beautiful and welcoming atmosphere. Everything we made was delicious, and healthy. Tina and Yami were enthusiastic, talented, knowledgeable and fun. Their impecable work represent both the passion and love that these two women have for what they do. We will definitely try all the recipes again at home!!

we had a wonderful evening at the Sister Yard. We came to celebrate my husband's birthday with our kids- 15 and 23. Everyone had fun and truly enjoyed the evening. Tina and Yami have made the evening very pleasant, educational and special. I was very impressed with their professionalism, the impecable customer service and the attention to details. Because of the rain, we stayed inside and their house is very pretty and clean with the great kitchen ( of course). we cooked a steak with polenta and chared vegetables. They provided a very interesting and tasty dessert and an appetizer. The food was very tasty and the ingredients were superb quality- grass fed steak, organic and fresh produce. We have prepared under sisters' supervision a gourmet organic meal that was delicious and enjoyable and have learned new things. Highly recommend them- we truly had a wonderful time.

Tina and Yami are simply great at what they do! The food is healthy, fresh, and delicious while the atmosphere ties the knot on the experience perfectly. Not only did we learn to cook a whole meal but we also got to eat it together afterwards. We felt like we went "out for dinner" but actually got involved with our food and had so much fun in the process, too! Would without a doubt recommend!

Not to mention how outgoing and talented Tina and Yami were, which made the evening go very smoothly. Had a great time with friends and will definitely be attending more events!
