Visited Charleston for a friends bachelorette party. While shopping in the area on King's street, a nice lady recommended we go check out the bar upstairs of Skinny Dip. Walking into the store, with full excitement to a cute establishment the sales women on the floor mentioned to our party that there is a bar upstairs. Once arriving upstairs we were greeted by no one, and all instantly disappointed. My friends patiently waited to be served and took seats at the empty bar, I walked downstairs to find out where an employee, bartender, or manager could possibly be. After speaking to the women who greeted us, I was told that no shift was seemed to be cover for the afternoon. The story was a confusing mess of irresponsibleness, which unfortunately cost this business to loose out on profit. Although, the store front and upstairs bar are said to be ran under two different management; it was very odd to me that no manager was available to speak to, or came in to run operations for happy customers. If you're looking into enjoying a relaxing beverage of choice from Upstairs @ Skinny Dip Bar, I would highly recommend making sure someone will be there to attend to you before coming in. I hope this issue is resolved within management, and no other customer has the same experience my friends and I did.
