"Pop into the Skinny Dip for a drink break during a day of King Street shopping. The collective concept fashion store doubles as a wine and coffee bar with ideal decor for an Instagram-able frosé picture. The upstairs space has an outdoor patio and snacks for patrons to enjoy alongside the beverage offering." - Parker Milner

Just stopped in today to browse. My friend and I both found a pair of shoes we just had to have. They sweetly put them on hold for us so we didn’t have to tote them all day while we shopped. Later that afternoon we called and paid over the phone and they brought our shoes to the car as we were driving by. Talk about “curbside service”. I am so impressed with their sweet and helpful staff. Not to mention the boutique was gorgeous!!

Nice clothes, but since they don't "own" any of the stock returns feel like they're forcing you to jump through hoops. There was a defect with a dress we got, we're told to contact the manufacturer for any feedback...

This place is so cute! The staff is friendly and helpful. The upstairs has a coffee/wine/beer bar with many options! Definitely a good stop in Charleston

Stopped in for a glass of wine. Was informed that it was closed for a private event even though there was no sign on the street level saying so. Politely asked to use the washroom and was refused.

Cute boutique but a little expensive. The bar upstairs is nice and they serve frose! (frozen rose, icymi)

This is a cool find and I like the patio on the roof, but it's a bit pricey and the service is a little slow.

Yelp
Nice little spot above the skinnydip store. They serve Coffee/Lattes and Wine with windows overlooking King St.

Yelp
Such a cute place! My friends and I did homework here for hours while on spring break in Charleston. The coffee was great and the atmosphere was so welcoming and empowering. They also had free wifi and didn't seem to be offended that we asked (it seems like a lot of coffee shops in this city do not offer wifi or allow people to do work??). Overall would highly recommend!

Yelp
This is a fabulous little bar that is out of the way. Which is great if you want to have a quiet drink. The deck/patio is really nice.

Yelp
We were here a few days ago and had to come back. What a sweet place! I love the back patio area to have nitro brew and hang out for a break from shopping on King St. Servers are very friendly.

Yelp
One of my first experiences in CHS was at Skinny Dip. They had just opened the Upstairs Bar and it was the buzz of downtown. Met some friends for wine and enjoyed the comfortable seating. The area is open, relaxing and great for extra workspace. The staff is friendly, prompt and excellent. All in all the entire experience was great. There is art to view and purchase upstairs and downstairs many different designers are showcased. If you're in town shopping definitely stop in to see the uniqueness of this store. Quintessential Charleston.

Yelp
Must stop by if walking on Kings Street! Great to hangout with some friends and take a break from the shopping! Definitely will be going again!

Yelp
Visited Charleston for a friends bachelorette party. While shopping in the area on King's street, a nice lady recommended we go check out the bar upstairs of Skinny Dip. Walking into the store, with full excitement to a cute establishment the sales women on the floor mentioned to our party that there is a bar upstairs. Once arriving upstairs we were greeted by no one, and all instantly disappointed. My friends patiently waited to be served and took seats at the empty bar, I walked downstairs to find out where an employee, bartender, or manager could possibly be. After speaking to the women who greeted us, I was told that no shift was seemed to be cover for the afternoon. The story was a confusing mess of irresponsibleness, which unfortunately cost this business to loose out on profit. Although, the store front and upstairs bar are said to be ran under two different management; it was very odd to me that no manager was available to speak to, or came in to run operations for happy customers. If you're looking into enjoying a relaxing beverage of choice from Upstairs @ Skinny Dip Bar, I would highly recommend making sure someone will be there to attend to you before coming in. I hope this issue is resolved within management, and no other customer has the same experience my friends and I did.
