One of the best pizza slice I've had, and unexpectedly in Taiwan. Sourdough pizza cooked perfectly, the crust was nice and crispy with a bit of chew. We tried the pepperoni and the pickle pizza. Both amazing. No seats but some standing tables. Highly recommend stopping by

One of the best pizza in town! I can’t believe a pizza with no meat can be this good! The Dill Pickle, Garlic, Cream, and Cheese combo? Mind-blowing. 🤯😳😍🥳🤩 Each slice is big enough to fill you up, but every time I go, I still end up eating 3 to 5 slices on my own—it’s just that addictive! The classics like Cheese, Spicy Sausages, and Pepperoni? All 🔥🔥🔥 You just keep wanting more! The sourdough crust? Top-notch. Fresh ingredients? Superb. Every bite is a whole experience. They also have chili oil that packs a serious punch, probably made from Ghost Pepper, and it’s insanely good. I love dipping the crust in it—it adds the perfect kick. Normally, I’d leave the crust behind, but at this place, I end up eating every last bite. I prefer dining in rather than taking away. The space is small—more of a quick & casual dine-in vibe—but honestly, I love it. It adds to the experience! The queue can get long during peak hours, but their service is lightning fast. Never once did I feel like I was waiting too long. Great food, great vibe, great service.

Really delicious sourdough pizza! The crust is perfectly crispy without being overly dry. I really love the spicy sausage one but I found the pineapple one a tad too sweet for me.

We loved the pizza here! I hope we can come again on our next visit to Taipei. It's worth visiting for sure, so don't forget to come here!! Perfect chewy crust and delicious toppings. My husband especially loved the crispy bacon. It's a standing or takeaway situation.

Only managed to try the Maple Bacon pizza, and it blew my mind. Wonderful combination of hot maple syrup drizzled over crispy bacon on sourdough. The store has a limited outdoor space for eating in. Most people get it to go. Good break to have between the constant Taiwanese and Chinese cuisine on holiday.

The Slice Shop in Taipei is a cozy, no-frills pizza stand that delivers a true New York–style grab-and-go experience. The storefront is minimal—just two narrow standing tables and a walk-up order/pickup window—which immediately sets the tone: it's all about the pizza. The menu includes a few classic staples alongside rotating seasonal options, which keeps things interesting for repeat visits. Slices range from NT$130 to NT$180, which might feel steep by local standards, but the quality more than justifies the price. The crust is a standout—sourdough-based, beautifully charred, and balances perfectly with the generous toppings. Every bite shows thoughtfulness in proportion and flavor. Their roast beef and cheese combo, for instance, is rich without being overwhelming. That said, there's a notable downside. During peak mealtimes, the selection shrinks drastically. Despite a menu of six or seven pizzas, only two or three are typically available, and customers aren’t allowed to wait for upcoming batches. This has happened on both of my visits and suggests a bottleneck in their prep or inventory flow. For this reason, I’m deducting one star—but I’ll be back. The quality is worth watching, and I’m hopeful they’ll improve the operational side.

The hot maple bacon is truly special and just wow me. This is easily one of the best pizza in Taipei. Will definitely come back again. It is a joy to stand outside, order one piece after another until you feel satisfied.

Solid. It’s always nice to see a slice of NY pie somewhere 🤗 I’ve lived in Brooklyn for over 4 years now and have had my fair share of pizza. This place is comparable. The crust here is heated to the perfect crisp. And the sauce/topping to dough ratio is also wonderful! They also have some fun toppings and the dill pickle is next on my want to try. What I like the most is that the pizza isn’t greasy and it doesn’t leave you feeling heavy. Since their dough is used with sourdough starter, there is a slight tartness in the dough. I only wish that the tomato sauce was a touch sweeter to create a more balanced flavor profile. Currently it all leans towards to tangier side, which is why I knocked off a star.
