SocialBites Is Now Open in Sandy Springs | Eater Atlanta

"A full-service upstairs bar serving classic craft cocktails, wine, and beer, plus boozy milkshakes in flavors like banana foster, mudslide, and espresso; it also provides outdoor patio seating and complements the venue’s event and viewing programming." - Henna Bakshi

I recently had a fantastic visit to Sober Social, a unique non-alcoholic venue tucked away in a secure concept house. To enter, you must be buzzed in; the spot is located on the first floor. Upon arrival, I was warmly greeted by the owner, whose friendly welcome set the tone for the evening. The ambiance and decor are charming, with ample seating for a small crowd, making it a cozy spot for socializing. The menu offers a wide range of creative drinks to suit different tastes. I ordered the Socialite, a refreshing blend featuring a tequila alternative and hibiscus, which was packed with flavor. My husband chose the Reserve--a drink reminiscent of an Old Fashioned made with a whiskey alternative--and he enjoyed it. I also discovered on their website that they host happy hour on Thursdays and Fridays from 4-6 PM, so I'm looking forward to returning with friends. If you're looking for something different, fun, and non-alcoholic, I highly recommend supporting this local, woman-owned small business. Be sure to mention that @atlchels sent you!

100/10. After being on my sobriety journey for a week or so my husband surprised me with a trip here. As I nervously looked around the bartender was happy to suggest drinks which we went with. The server asked if we were okay with our seating before finding us a cozier spot and providing some of the best service I have ever had! He was elated to be there and it made us happy to be there. I had the ‘Canna Be Alone’ and my husband had ‘The Reserve’ with a little something added. The drinks were amazing and had depth! The owner was really sweet and even offered us drink recipes to help out with our sobriety journey if we couldn’t make it in. Please don’t walk here, run!

Visited Friday for the first time and had a great night. Mocktails were delicious. The atmosphere was fun but still mature and relaxing. The service was exemplary. Woman dj had a vibe set.. heads bobbing and shoulders swaying all night long. Highly recommend & definitely plan to return.

Had an incredible time celebrating a sobriety milestone of mine here! Drinks were yummy and the service was kind and attentive. The owner went out of her way to make sure we had a good time! The karaoke was a nice plus!!

Wow! If you're looking for a cocktail lounge vibe without the alcohol, this is the place to go. We tried the socially wavy and we got the social experience so we could try the 4 original drinks. Aja the owner has really put together an amazing experience and she sat and told us all a out her vision and how it all started. Can't say enough good things about this place! She's got great beer and wine that we tried as well. All non alcoholic. Check her out at the sober social!

The owner was the Bartender and she put so much care into making our drinks. They were DELICIOUS! Who knew non-alcoholic cocktails could be so good! I'm not sure what seasoning she used on the popcorn but it was bussin!

I LOVE that there is a place to experience a special night out with mixed drinks, where the mixed drinks are nonalcoholic. Being sober can be challenging, with how few options there are, so I’m glad there are places like The Sober Social. The one downside to this place is that it’s damn near impossible to find. There’s just a gravel parking lot, around a nondescript building. I was very unsure where the place actually was. Luckily, a person who I believe may have been the owner of The Sober Social, happened to see me wandering around outside the building and told me how to get there. That said, when you’re actually there, the atmosphere is great, the drinks are fantastic, and the staff is friendly. The building also is an art gallery of sorts. Great for a night out. Y’all need a sign outside, though haha.

Lots of great art to look at on all 3 floors, cozy spaces to sit and enjoy the mocktails, and ambiance is on point. Mocktails are very flavorful but a little pricey, I spent 20 bucks (after automatic tip) on 1 drink. Other neighborhood bars serving alcohol are cheaper. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable.
