Great spot in Detroit. The cocktails are top notch and there’s an impressive variety of beers on tap. I really like the self-pour setup since you can sample different beers without having to commit to a full pint. The space itself is bright and open, which is a nice change from the smaller, more cramped places around the city. Not many places you can easily go last minute when you’re heading down to Detroit for a game or event. The open seating no reservation requirement and casual experience makes it really easy to gather before and after those events. The patio is spacious and perfect for hanging out, and the staff is very friendly. Easily one of my favorite new places in Detroit.

Came in right after they opened today with no preconceived notions about the joint… I was just hungry ya know. I left very pleased. Had the playground off of their weekend menu and it was so good. From the batter on the chicken to the kool aid pickles. Chef also came out and talked w us and let us try some of the other pickles since I yapped about being a pickle man and they were all great. Definitely coming back for the playground

Very disorganized. Short staffed with mediocre food. The pay at your table option is a scam, as they have you pay for each transaction as you order (i.e. pay for appetizers then pay your main course) which is fine, except at the end, they proceeded to charge again for the full amount that i already paid for. Essentially, double charging me. The manager claimed that i would get the money credited back, however that did not happen. Spent half of the time trying to get my money back for the second charge but ended up having to call the bank to do it instead- which they did immediately. Save yourselves the headache and visit Dime Store instead! It’s right down the street! Better food there :)

Google
I'm giving the food, service and atmosphere 5 stars because the kitchen, waiting, and bar staff are doing what they could with what they got and were all incredibly kind. That being said, the potential of this spot is really lost based on the ownership who won't hire more staff. This is a big place and somehow even though it was relatively empty for dinnertime, was still understaffed. I have faith in this cute spot, and the concept, but not this ownership.

We came here before the Lions game. This place has definite potential . The wings were solid. The beer wall was plentiful although there were a few of the NA selections that were empty. The service at the bar was warm, inviting, relaxed, and very friendly. We will definitely be back.

Google
Cool spot for beer and food. Their concept is legit, you buy food pay for a bracelet that measures the amount of beer you take (has a limit on it) and watch some sports! Love it. Great chill place. Don’t expect to be catered but expect to have a nice chill experience. Highly recommend

A cozy yet stylish atmosphere with good food, drinks, and service 😁 Mayana at the cafe makes the BEST drinks, she really knows how to roll her milk perfectly. And Jasmine made the best sandwich! I customized the Veggie stack to be vegan and added pickled onions. It was so filling and nutritious. You can even ask to add tortilla strips for a little crunch. They have a separate fryer for their fries as well so they are truly vegetarian friendly, I really appreciate the thoughtfulness they put into this place. The drinks at the bar taste amazing and have enough alc for you to feel it too. Definitely coming back!

Google
If you like to drink variety of beer tied to a computer linked bracelet. Then this is the place to be. The food that the restaurant offered on that day was good, too. I would come back again if I am ever in that side of town.

Yelp
Great menu, sadly I wasn't able to come back for bfast, but it looked great. Tip of the cap to the chef too, he came out and explained a few popular menu items, will def be back if time permits. Had a Cobb salad and it was big enough to split with another person. Great location too.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I stumbled upon this place while looking for somewhere to watch a football game. It's a super cute spot, though the parking situation isn't great--but that's to be expected in downtown Detroit. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing due to the poor service and food quality. It took quite a while for someone to greet us and take our order. We ordered nachos, which took 45 minutes to arrive, even though the place wasn't busy. When they finally came out, the nachos were cold, stale, and very underwhelming. I informed one of the employees about the issue and asked for them to be taken back. However, we were never offered a refund or a replacement. I also noticed other customers experiencing long wait times, with some leaving out of frustration. When I asked how long they had been open, I was told it had only been about three weeks. I understand that new businesses need time to work out the kinks, but this was a basic hospitality failure. The only positive aspect of our visit was one employee who was really kind. I wasn't initially planning to write a review, but my boyfriend was so disappointed by the experience that he encouraged me to share it. He was absolutely right--people should know. This place has so much potential to be great, but they need to address these issues to create a better customer experience. I genuinely hope they make improvements.

Yelp
A great space. It's open and bright, and there's games. They have breakfast and coffee. There's also a lunch menu I believe. We didn't try any food. There are plenty of choices of beers on tap and a full bar. The beer is self serve and you scan your wrist band. It seemed as if the beers were over pressurized. We were a large group and all experienced the overly foamy beer, which feels wasteful since you pay per ounce. Everyone's beer was extremely foamy, even when poured on an angle. I also wish they had different glass options instead of just the pint glasses. A few kinks to work out, but will try it again.

Yelp
This place is terrible. No one is in a hurry, the food isn't cooked. I had to wait an hour and a half for my food. If I could give it no stars I would. Absolutely terrible experience.

Yelp
Absolutely stunning place. A couple of helpful and nice workers, but too many that didn't care enough. Food came out very slow despite a place that was virtually empty on a Saturday night. It was also cold and subpar. When I asked for dessert, it was said that I could have cold dessert and that the oven was broken. I said that was fine and was once again underwhelmed with the actual food itself. This place has so much potential and they could be making a killing being across from the convention center. I hope they figure it out.

Yelp
We were downtown for the boat show and wanted to get dinner. We noticed The Social Brews just across the street from Huntington Place. We thought we'd check it out. It's kind of a neat place. Large tables, high tops and low picnic type tables with bench seating. Perfect for larger groups. They have around 45 beer and wines on tap. The deposit for the electronic wrist band is $25 and you get 32 ounces of beer that you self-pour from the tappers. Once you reach your 32 ounce limit the wrist band shuts off and then you can reload more to it if you'd like. It was a great way to try different beers for as little or as many ounces that you wanted. They're open for breakfast and serve breakfast sandwiches, pastries and coffee. The dinner options were apps, salads, sandwiches, burgers, fish & chips and even pasta options. We tried the pulled pork and chicken sandwiches. Both were delicious and came with fried potato slices sprinkled with Italian seasoning and Parmesan cheese. They were yummy! A different way to serve French fries. There were no table servers. You purchase your food at the counter and runners bring it to your table. You also get your own drinks. We had an issue with one of the tappers and the manager was very helpful and apologetic. It was a fun experience but slightly overpriced. We paid $43 for 92 ounces of beer and $44 for three sandwiches. Each tap of beer is priced differently. It was a cool place. I might try it again but would pay closer attention to how many ounces I pour each time to avoid a large bill at the end of the night.
