My boyfriend and I stumbled upon this place while looking for somewhere to watch a football game. It's a super cute spot, though the parking situation isn't great--but that's to be expected in downtown Detroit. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing due to the poor service and food quality.
It took quite a while for someone to greet us and take our order. We ordered nachos, which took 45 minutes to arrive, even though the place wasn't busy. When they finally came out, the nachos were cold, stale, and very underwhelming. I informed one of the employees about the issue and asked for them to be taken back. However, we were never offered a refund or a replacement.
I also noticed other customers experiencing long wait times, with some leaving out of frustration. When I asked how long they had been open, I was told it had only been about three weeks. I understand that new businesses need time to work out the kinks, but this was a basic hospitality failure.
The only positive aspect of our visit was one employee who was really kind. I wasn't initially planning to write a review, but my boyfriend was so disappointed by the experience that he encouraged me to share it. He was absolutely right--people should know.
This place has so much potential to be great, but they need to address these issues to create a better customer experience. I genuinely hope they make improvements.
