"Caught in the rain on South Beach? Pop into The Social Club at Surfcomber for creative cocktails like the Timeless Sunset with Japanese whiskey, angostura amaro demerara, and lemon, and stay for dinner to drown the rainy day sorrows in lobster mac n’ cheese or fried chicken. The Social Club gets extra bonus points for serving a full brunch menu every day.  Hello, Cinnamon Toast Crunch waffle on a Tuesday." - Amber Love Bond

"The breakfast sandwich at The Social Club serves as a substantial base for boozy brunch cocktails and bottomless mimosas. With maple bourbon bacon, an over easy egg, tomatoes, and brioche bread, this sandwich tastes like a brunched up version of a BLT." - Dara Smith

Had brunch here on several occasions while staying at the surfcomber. Servers were very friendly and attentive, constantly checking up on us. They have a dj on weekends and endless mimosas as well. Overall vibe was great. We had omelets, burgers, calamari, breakfast sandwhich, chicken and waffles. We were satisfied with all of our food and service.

Are you a club member? If not head down to the Surfcomber in South Beach and enjoy a great breakfast or brunch near the ocean at The Social Club. Really great staff providing great service in a small but quaint corner of the hotel. Ordered some Chicken and Waffles, Avocado Toast and a Surfcomber Breakfast. All tasted great with some nice sauce touches like the Maple Honey for the waffles. Only complaint is not the restaurant but the hefty Valet Parking charge, about $40 for breakfast which I understand it's South Beach but I would have to believe it slows some locals from coming out.

I love this place, I visit once a year and my last visit was Sunday February 4, 2024 for a brunch. The food was amazing and fresh, the service was also great! Since it’s Miami, there was a dj blasting music which was fun! I highly recommend for anyone!

Google
Hands down the best brunch and dinner in South Beach! Gaston is the most amazing chef paired with top-notch servers and bartenders! For brunch, we had the crispy potatoes, scrambled eggs, parfait, and finally, Chef Gaston surprised us with the best beignet you'll ever have... and I'm not just saying that because of bottomless mimosas! Dinner: I can't rave enough about our dinner! The photos really say more than I ever could. Lamb carpaccio with a Dijon gelato, out of this world! I didn't even know Dijon gelato was a thing. The lobster and scallop ceviche is a true seafood lovers' dream. The sauce and the cook on the snapper, simply superb... but you have to have the bison short rib. Don't think about it, just get the short rib! Thank you Chef Gaston and team, for making our anniversary the most memorable day and evening of our lives! We'll 100% be back!

Google
Y’all! This place is a whole vibe! The food is good!!!! My husband & I came down from Georgia, an 8.5hr drive from Miami Beach for our 4 year anniversary! Our server was Nicole! She was amazing!! She deserves a raise Social Club!! Our cups were NEVER dry and we didn’t feel ignored although she was servicing several tables by herself all at once! Job well done babe! We’ll visit again!

Google
Went there for a solo brunch. Staff were friendly. My server was Leo, he was very attentive and super nice. I ordered pancakes with home fries and vanilla latte. The donuts (they’re not called that I just can’t remember the name but I think it starts with a “B”) were complimentary from the head chef as an early birthday treat. I enjoyed all which I ordered. Would recommend and eat again.

Went for dinner, had the truffle short rib, and loved it. Great flavor and the meat was soft and tender. The chocolate mousse was a delicious dessert to end the night with as well. Staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure we were enjoying our time. Truly recommend and I would come back for the rib, no doubt!

Google
This spot was a recommendation while visiting Miami. Pretty good breakfast spot. Waffles were nice and crispy, fruit was fresh. I really enjoyed the skillet breakfast potatoes. For the chicken and waffles I would have preferred wings but it was still good. The French toast was ok wasn't very crispy, could have been cook a little longer. Would definitely go back next time in Miami.

Yelp
This place is definitely a 10/10!!! My Birthday Brunch was here and the service was amazing by Alex. The food was delicious. I will always come back to this place! Oh and the bottomless mimosas were amazing

Prout B.

Yelp
The Social Club is a great spot for a tasty meal. Their home fries and omelet are particularly popular. The friendly service and inviting atmosphere make it a favorite for locals and visitors alike.

Yelp
After some intense research for the best brunch spot in south beach for my husband's 40th, I landed on The Social Club! And ironically enough the hotel it is in was one of my top choices also, so it was a done deal! I made reservations for a large group and booked the hotel and couldn't wait until the day to check them out! I called ahead to check on celiac friendly meals for one of our guests and they were beyond helpful. We did get into the hotel the night before so we did get a chance to have a few drinks and meet some of their amazing employees/managment! The next morning the host Omar was just as awesome as the night before and had our table ready far before our reservation! We all ordered very different meals and loved them all! My meal however was so good, I even ordered it the next day, before checking out to head home! I just checked online and it looks like they no longer offer it. But they should definitely bring back the disco fries!! They were these perfect breakfast potatoes with meat and cheese and gravy and an egg on top. Straight perfection! But did I mention the bottomless mimosas... bottomless mimosas in south beach. That is rare! (Actually I believe there are only two restaurants including TSC that offer bottomless). So we enjoyed plenty of their specialty drinks along with the mimosas! The restaurant is beautiful with a great vibe and the staff was all so friendly. My only negative was when one of our guests meals was forgotten and didn't come out until the rest of us were finished, they still charged us for it. Either way, I would definitely redo this exact day over and over! Until we meet again Social Club!

Yelp
The Social Club at the Seacomber hotel was one of the top brunch suggestions in the city. Service was quick and efficient. The interior was really cute with lots of natural lighting, plants, artwork and comfy seating. Though because it is in a hotel, there is a lot of extra traffic. We had mimosas, croque monsieur and an eggs Benedict dish called "Southern Comfort" - both were really really good, though not the best we've ever had (Pastis in New York holds the top spot). Overall we really enjoyed it and would come back. We actually would love to stay at the hotel! 8/10 and would recommend.

Yelp
Came for brunch and great variety of dishes meeting everyone's desires. Omelette, croissantwich, burgers, everything you want. Prices are very steep as portion is enormous and you are paying for ambiance. Outdoor seating is facing the street, unlike many posted pic.

Alice W.

Yelp
Great food, great ambiance! We came for a girls brunch and our server Alex was amazing! He mentioned the menu recently changed but gave recommendations on what to try. Love the boho tropical greenery and DJ mixing too.

Angie O.

Yelp
Friendly service. Coffee amazing ! Loved the potatoes. Very quick too didn't take long for our food to come out. We sat outside but they do have Indoor seating and it looks beautiful inside.

Nicole C.

Yelp
Food: very yummy! Super filling too. Got a coffee and they give free refills! Service: our waitress was really nice! Service was good. Ambiance: I love the design of the inside. Connects to hotel lobby.

M W.

Yelp
Service is great- Alex was fantastic. He gave us free mimosas with the yelp check in. The dj spinning that Sunday was great. Good vibes all around

Yelp
My first experience with The Social Club was when I dragged myself up to the bar and begged for a glass of ice after walking up and down Lincoln Road in that Miami heat. The bartender was so nice and cute and funny, I think his name was Jason. I was relaxing there while waiting to be checked into my room and had two glasses of wine. I forgot to check in so I missed out on the free mimosa but one of my glasses of wine was comped so it evened out. I saw quite a few plates of food go by while I was chilling at the bar and they all looked pretty good especially the Chicken and Waffles. I did not actually try any of The Social Clubs food until my last day. We had tried to have brunch there the third day into our stay but were told at I believe 1:45 that the restaurant was closed even though their hours said they did not close until 2:30. That's how we wound up at Wilde on the Porch which I will review later. Last day we made it down in time. I had a difficult decision between a few items that looked promising. In the end I went with the Huevos Paysanne with a side of home fries and the friend had one of the Omelets and potatoes as well. I really enjoyed my meal. The Huevos were basically Huevos Rancheros, not sure what Paysanne is or why it was called that but it had tortilla chips as a base, covered in ranchera salsa with chorizo and a beautiful egg on top. The potatoes were crispy just as advertised and to my liking. My meal came to 32.00 with service charge. That's pretty damn steep for a breakfast which by all accounts should be the cheapest meal of the day. We are talking eggs and tortilla chips here. But as I keep writing these reviews of my time in Miami, I find myself always ending on the same note. Miami Beach is expensive and that's just the way it is.

Yelp
Sat outside on the street-side patio. Very private with mature hedge separating tbd eating area. Very nice music flowed from the bush hidden speakers. She had the omelet & nondescript breakfast potatoes. She labeled the omelet as very fresh. Her bottomless two hours of make your own mimosas for $35 with a variety of juices to sample had to make her eggs taste good. I had the eggs ranchos huevos poysonne and a cafe con leche, my new go to south beach caffeine choice. The latin flavor combination for the breakfast was unmatched. Service was below average. But everyone else seated seemed to be getting quick attention. Beautiful breakfast that was not so pricey for South Beach.

Yelp
This place is so busy to get into on a weekend day for brunch. The social club is located in a swanky hotel. It was cool that they even had a DJ there even though there was no room for it. There was honestly no room for the whole restaurant there. The place was a death trap for people trying to use the hotel elevators to get to their rooms. Ended up getting a free Mamitas (thank you Yelp check in!). I've never had one. I really liked how light it was. The omelette was delicious. They put a good amount of American ham and cheese in the omelette. The potatos tasted amazing as well. It was super crispy and tasted really good with the seasoning. The side salad is the item to get (I loved the taste of the onions). Service was kind of slow but maybe I should expect that when I am in Miami.

Yelp
Had this on my list of places to visit based on Yelp reviews and I'm glad I stopped in. Was able to catch up with a friend in town for business over dinner. The decor and ambiance was awesome. So was the service. The staff was so incredibly friendly and welcoming. It wasn't at all packed since it was a weekday. At some point, a guitarist set up on the outdoor patio. Everything was delicious and we had a great time. Then we find out that they are most known for their weekend brunch. So I'll definitely be back to try that. But if you're looking for good food regardless of the time of day, this is a great option!

Yelp
VEGAN REVIEW Came here for breakfast. there are only 2 options: acai bowl & avocado toast. no protein to be found :( I opted for the avocado toast. it was pretty tasty, loved the veggies on it. oat milk latte was small, but good. also tried a fresh pressed juice-- very ginger forward! split the fruit bowl with my girl, it was mostly melon with just a few bits of pineapple & berries (my pet peeve it too much melon in fruit salads). the kitchen took FOREVER-- tables that came much later than us were done with their meals before ours arrived. the server recognized & offered up free mimosas. great people watching on their outdoor seating.

Dinesh A.

Yelp
Walked in without reservation. Small joint with limited seating. Was placed on a 15 min wait-list that notified when a spot opened up. Waiter was slow to serve. However, food was excellent. My surf burger was juicy and delicious while the accompanying salad was fresh and tangy. An omelet we ordered was stuffed with pork and tasty. 5 stars except for service. 20% gratitude was included in the bill.

David P.

Yelp
Extremely expensive, I paid 11$ plus for a simple corona beer. We had breakfast here as a family. Price was extremely expensive for a very average breakfast, Kimpton , you are not the Breaker hotel, but your price sure are. Just go outside this hotel and you will find plenty of place to eat n won't have to spend 11$ for a simple corona..

Robert B.

Yelp
The food and ambiance was great! The service was amazing and we went walking in the outdoors hall after the food, it was beautiful!

Sheena C.

Yelp
The Food, the bottomless mimosa's, the service, it's all it should be an more. Is it a lil pricy, Yes, is it a experience worth it, Yes. I enjoyed each sip an every bite, as did the other ladies in my party. Def recommend for a nice Brunch an treating one's self!

Yelp
I recently checked out the Social Club in Miami Beach, and let me tell you, it's a pretty cool spot. The vibe there is just awesome, making it perfect for a laid-back brunch. I started with the Eggs Benedict, and oh man, they were amazing. The eggs were perfectly poached, and that hollandaise sauce was on point. If you're in the mood for something lighter, their Avocado Toast is a winner. Creamy avocado, toasted bread, and some tasty toppings - it's like a flavor explosion in your mouth. And don't get me started on the Mimosas! They were just what I needed to kick back and enjoy the Miami Beach scene. So many options. In a nutshell, if you're looking for a great brunch spot with fantastic food (especially the Eggs Benedict and Avocado Toast) and a chill atmosphere, the Social Club in Miami Beach is the place to be. You won't be disappointed!

Yelp
I came by this past Sunday for a birthday brunch. Celebrating with friends and the mini donuts I ordered for dessert were the highlight. My rum sangria, ostensibly with Bacardi Gold, was also well blended and with a nice amount of booze. The reason for the downvote was my order of short rib egg Benedict. I was debating between this and the chicken & waffles, and went with this on our waiter's recommendation. I left most of it, as the short rib was really greasy both in flavor and texture. Heck, even visually as a friend on the other side of the table said it looked greasy. The egg and hollandaise could have been a little runnier as well. Service was adequate, and with an automatic 20 percent gratuity. With the mishaps mentioned, I wasn't motivated to leave extra.

Shreya S.

Yelp
Came here with friends while in Miami and service was amazing! Alex was our server and in addition to being incredibly nice, he remembered all 6 of our individual orders and split the check for us accordingly! Not to mention the food was awesome- I got the breakfast sandwich and an espresso martini pictured below. Highly recommend!

Hadi T.

Yelp
The only reason for giving more than 3 stars is our breakfast server Leo. He was extremely friendly and helpful. We had dinner here as well the day before and it wasn't great, food was tolerable and service wasn't incredible either. The food is good depending on what you order. By far, Leo is the only reason why I chose a higher rating today. Thank you Leo for your service!

Gwen B.

Yelp
We popped by the Social Club while visiting Miami and really enjoyed our meal! The free mimosa with a Yelp Check in was CLUTCH and started our meal off with a pleasant bang. We decided to order a few dishes to share: the breakfast sandwich, chicken and waffles, and an omelette. Everything was well made and seasoned with the portions were surprisingly big! No one finished their meals but it was nice to have a taste of everything. The crispy potatoes on the side of each entree were absolutely necessary after a long night of drinking and totally hit the spot. Our waiter was fantastic/super friendly and it was reasonably priced for the Miami area. Definitely recommend the Social Club for all your brunch needs, just try to make a reservation if you can because they get pretty busy!

German M.

Yelp
The Social Club is located inside the Surfcomber Hotel and features an eclectic menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The restaurant offers an ample seating space inside and out. Breakfast offers conservative choices for anybody to choose something they like. A Yelp check in gets you a house mimosa or glass of wine that's truly dissapointing but hey, it's free. What I enjoy most about The Social Club is their outdoor seating as you can people watch and feel Miami's Collins Ave.

Ali K.

Yelp
Fun little brunch spot inside one of the Kimpton properties on Collins Ave. Decor is a relaxed, surf-vibe with lounging seats and chairs. Service was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. My wife got the avocado toast which she loved. I picked the chicken and waffles which was good for the most part but the chicken ended up tasting a little dry. Bottomless mimosas were on great.

Julie A.

Yelp
We were so impressed with this restaurant! They are upscale and pricey, but treated us with the highest professionalism and courtesy even though we were post beach and were admittedly not wearing the proper attire for a fine dining experience. When making a reservation, for some reason we thought this place was casual, and it is, but an upscale casual, not beach casual. The environment is fabulous with greenery inside and comfortable chairs. We went for dinner and the food was excellent and served on slate slabs instead of plates-- really cool, it added to the overall enjoyment.

Nicole Sung Un P.

Yelp
Very good food! The atmosphere is good but a little too open and loud for my liking. However, it's good for families or a large group of girlfriends. Even though it's a little too loud for my liking, the food is deliciousness enough for me to come again. Service is okay. Not terrific but not bad. Typical for a restaurant this size and price.

Erin B.

Yelp
Alex was absolutely amazing! definitely recommend the bottomless mimosas. 100/10 recommend

Connor S.

Yelp
The staff was overwhelmingly friendly and welcoming! The hostess seated us quickly and the server checked on us frequently throughout our dining experience. The music playlist and the flowers were such a beautiful ambiance. We went in December and sat outside and it was beautiful out! The food presentation was immaculate. If you come here you must have the fancy French toast as it melts in your mouth with the dipped chocolate truffle and Nutella. The eggs Benedict were mid at best as the eggs were a bit too runny, but the short rib was cooked to perfection. Thank you to Leo for a great dining experience.

Sarah W.

Yelp
This place is definitely worth the hype! Came for weekday brunch and had an amazing experience. Our server Julissa was attentive and sweet. The food was delicious; we had the disco fries and Surfcomber. Finally, the decor and ambiance of the hotel and restaurant are perfect.

Cinthia E.

Yelp
Açaí bowl for the win. All fruit tasty and fresh. Our waitress was amazing, real sweet and made us feel comfortable. It is a hotel restaurant, but the environment remained calm on a Monday morning. Highly recommend to do the 35$ mimosas! Valet parking a bit pricey but worth to have a smoother experience.

JP M.

Yelp
A really great place for brunch while in the South Beach area! Nice ambience, solid service, and the food was tasty too! really enjoyed the "Bird's Nest", with a delicious array of sauteed mushrooms, a couple of nicely post eggs on top, and slices of tasty multigrain bread from Zak the Baker... really interesting! kicked off with a Healthy Shot, which is a real zinger and will light you up! Plus, the accompanied by a tasty Cafe Americano. altogether, would come back here without hesitation when I'm next to the area.

Hana S.

Yelp
Super cute brunch spot inside the Surfcomber hotel -- it seems like they have a really good bottomless mimosa deal that we couldn't take advantage of due to work calls, but with Yelp check-in you can get a single mimosa for free :) The waitress who served us was so sweet and brought over so many varieties of hot sauces without asking. Checked on how we were doing once the food arrived and didn't make us feel rushed even as the restaurant started getting crowded for brunch. I had the surfcomber's breakfast and my husband got the eggs benedict which we both devoured. I do wish the breakfast potatoes were a bit crispier but loved that they came with 3 colors of potatoes. The vibe indoor and outdoors is really nice and they have a few tv's inside. I spotted some folks having business meetings in the restaurant / hotel lobby as well.

Larkin O.

Yelp
There seem to endless brunch opportunities in Miami Beach, so I'm glad we found our way here. The food was delicious, the drink choices are endless (so many juice options), the atmosphere is impeccable (the plants in Miami are thriving), and above all else- the service is stellar. Our server Alex, was helpful and on top of everything, and has mastered the art of making sure we felt tended to, without feeling smothered. It's a skill that not everyone has, and we were grateful for it. We were also checked on by another staff person (possibly a manager). We had such a good experience that we've decided to book at the Surfcomber for our next Miami trip.

Laura H.

Yelp
Came here for brunch during the week and they had bottomless brunch--score!!! We worked with Alex and he was soooooo awesome!! Best service I've had in Miami!

Solomon N.

Yelp
Great food, and our server Alex was THE best! If you order the burger make sure to get a side of the aioli for your fries. 10/10!!

Kurt L.

Yelp
The prices in this area are exorbitant compared to the "redneck riviera"....A few things are ok, like if you want a $26 burger, (2) bottled coronas for $23.33, NOLA style beignets (like Café du Monde) "and drizzled with condensed milk" (something NEVER done/or even heard of in the French Quarter) for $14 instead of the $3.40/3 on Decatur St. Eggs Benedict is a nominal $23, and chicken and waffles is a mere $26. What they really need is "another broken egg cafe"....

Juancho C.

Yelp
Food was delicious. Loved the brunch. Best thing on the menu the breakfast sandwich. The staff was friendly service was excellent. Will be back.

Angie C.

Yelp
Delicious breakfast spot on south beach! The potatoes eggs and steak combo is to die for. Great for a hangover, full of protein ;) The service was friendly and helpful, and the design and ambiance of the restaurant was chic; very south beach vibes with a homey combo.

Medeona G.

Yelp
Great ambiance and fantastic service. You MUST try the green temptation drink, it's amazing, avocado mint and jalapeño mix so well together, very refreshing. For appetizer I highly recommend the spiced kraken (octopus & paprika)... may need two because it's that good!

Morgan M.

Yelp
Stopped by for brunch today. The service was great, and the bottomless is such a great deal! The menu is perfectly curated. Our server, Alex (Alexander) was fabulous. He took such great care of us. Would definitely come back again!

Brad N.

Yelp
A brief walk from the nearby Hotel Confidante on a pleasant Thursday evening brought our party of three to The Social Club recently. We were seated outside, where a warm breeze and the Miami Beach views greeted us. The small plates really spoke to us, so we asked for the following for the table: Cheese + Charcuterie - A diverse board containing three or four delicious cheeses, a selection of nuts, olives, honeycomb, a few cured meats (salami, prosciutto) as well as some thin sliced ham and crispy bread slices, this dish had something for everyone. Argentinian prawn and Gulf shrimp - Served in a rich and decidedly spicy cognac based sauce, this was a shrimp lover's delight. The large prawn yielded tender, delicious meat, as did the more modestly sized shrimp. Definitely sop up that sauce! Empanadas - The selection of four left our group fighting over the last one. Crispy exteriors yielded warm, rich, delicious fillings of chicken and peppers, beef and tomato, tomato caprese, and chorizo and peppers, A trio of sauces including a garlic aioli, chimichurri, and aji chili really amped up the flavor of this dish. Highly recommended. Golden reverse Oreo - We couldn't resist a selection from the dessert menu, and this one was a winner. Featuring a vanilla cookie, chocolate, and a cream cheese ganache, it was delicious without being overly sweet. A great capper to a delicious meal. This place was definitely a winner!

Erin H.

Yelp
We went here for dinner after checking in to our room and the food was excellent. We chose snapper and short ribs with risotto. The servers were thoughtful and attentive and the atmosphere was comfortable.

Allen T.

Yelp
We had a very pleasant brunch at The Social Club. We sat outside and had nice cushy seats in the shade. I had the steak and eggs with chimichurri sauce and it really hit the spot. The food was prepared perfectly, the service was friendly, and the ambiance was very comfortable. As I said - it was a very pleasant brunch!

Stephy G.

Yelp
The Social Club had to have been my FAVORITE spot in Miami Beach it's a must visit. My husband and I decided to test it out for brunch before hitting the beach, wrong move or right move? (bloated but happy which is all that matters) We were seated outside - the vibe was right, everyone was well spaced and were able to soak in a few rays before getting sandy. To start we ordered the $35 bottomless brunch mimosas where you get 4 glasses of juice and a glass of Brut (being bottomless all are refillable during your visit). The juice options all tasted very fresh - my favorite being the peach, but my husband got crafty and started to mix multiple flavors at a time into his mimosas. After a night of drinking usually I would go for the greasiest option possible , but for some reason I was feeling the complete opposite on the day I visited the Social Club. I ordered a stack of pancakes and a side of fruit (not so exciting I know, but very delicious nonetheless) my husband ordered the surfer combo and I have to say all in all the food, the drinks, the service, the ambiance everything hit the nail on its head. I would definitely come back if I was in the area.

Raymond S.

Yelp
In the hotel. A bar upfront and one by the pool. The pool bar was great. Fernando was the bartender. Great Pina colada's-I had far to many. Fortunately I was behaving as the guy next to me had two Long Island ice teas and had me and three other guys ready to punch him, Fernando refused to give him a third Long Island. Out door bar, between the pool and the ocean under palm trees. Nuff said? We also had the empanadas and they were awesome.

Brittany P.

Yelp
First off, the food was excellent! I got "The" Breakfast Sandwich and it was huge! I couldn't even eat it like a sandwich, I had to cut it up. Our service was great as well, Alex answered all our questions and was very attentive. The ambiance was fun as well! It's a very open, airy place with music playing. The music was a tad louder than normal background music but I could have a conversation just fine. Overall, we will definitely be back :)

Hamed A.

Yelp
Came to Miami for the day and this place was highly recommended, so we came. It was under construction inside but they did have room outside in the front with no wait. Had the steak and eggs and the MRS., had the eggs Benedict. Both items were delicious. The service was OK. Over all a solid 4 stars. Would recommend the location.

Rylei S.

Yelp
The inside was aesthetically beautiful took a million pictures. The food was good and bottomless mimosas is what topped it for my group. Server checked on us and made sure our drinks were full and we had everything we needed!
