The Social Haus

This is a very cool place. We were in the area and never heard of this place and decided to check it out. The atmosphere was great, it was very busy because they were all playing bingo, but it did not stop us from getting great and friendly service. I didn't know what to order and their burgers were highly recommended and glad I ordered one, they were right, it was delicious.

My girlfriend and I stopped by Social Haus in Menomonee Falls for a casual meal on January 16th, and we had a great experience. The service was excellent: friendly, attentive, and welcoming from start to finish. The food was very tasty, with generous portion sizes. They have an impressive selection of sandwiches, burgers, and beers. My girlfriend ordered the fish fry, and I had the fish sandwich; both were well-prepared and delicious. Overall, a very enjoyable visit, and we’ll definitely be back. It does get a bit loud and crowded, given that it is a pub, but it is not a deal-breaker.

What a Great neighbor bar! Everyone is extremely friendly. Bartenders and wait staff are super efficient. The food is consistently good. Our favorites are the flat bread pizzas, chili, wings and the poutine. Looking forward to the expansion and the extra parking!

Stopped in for a burger and couple beers. Food was very good. We sat at the bar. Amazing bartenders. Very friendly and interactive. Definitely makes you want to come back. And we will.

I want to move here from Texas to be closer to this joint. I drank a lot… a lot a lot. Not gross licking door knobs drunk but just fun overall: “ I love everyone here let’s all high five drunk!” Elle(sp) was our server and she was freaking on point. We should have tipped her more…. They also had these punch card things where you can win money. Totally a yankee thing but it was fun Clean bathrooms! Best bar in WI! Highly recommend

Unfortunately, a very underwhelming experience. I tried calling hours before our arrival, to see when the kitchen would close on a Sunday evening. No answer either time. When we arrived at 7:50, there were only two other patrons in the bar and we were informed the kitchen would be closing in 8 minutes... We hurried our order in and then decided on drinks. My date ordered a breakfast old fashioned and I wanted to sample a beer at the bar. The waitress said, "We only sell them in pints..." Indeed, this was not my first time at a bar... I wanted to try it, before ordering a pint. She was able to pour a spit worth and said, "I hope you don't like it, because we are out now." My date's drink came and it tasted like the water you would find in the retention pond next door. I could barely taste the bourbon and there was no maple or raspberry taste whatsoever. Just a $13.00 water. The food came out reasonably fast and was good. Nothing too special, but nothing to rave about either. I paid with cash and the waitress came back and said, "I removed the surcharge on your bill, because you paid with cash..." I mean, come on... As my date and I walked out after paying, the other patron and manager stared at us. Not even a, "Thanks for coming in." Just stared down. I get it, we were later customers in the evening, but maybe the hours should be adjusted and attitudes as well.

Stopped for lunch. The food was delicious. There is a small patio with tables. I will definitely go back.

Stopped here on a Sunday night whim, loved the food and good atmosphere. We ordered the BBQ Burger and Avocado Chicken Wrap—both delicious. They even “brand” their burger buns which was such a nice touch! Ample seating inside and out, with a large bar and TVs. Music was nice (country/rock) and not too loud. Service was great. We will be back.

I was on the fence about going to the Social Haus for a late lunch /early dinner but am so glad we ended up here. The service was friendly and food came out hot & fast but most importantly for me this day was how GOOD my food tasted! I ordered a buffalo chicken flatbread and it was probably one of the best flatbreads I've ever had. I was craving some buffalo chicken so this definitely hit the spot and then some because it also had the perfect amount of hot sauce, melty blue cheese (not just dressing on the side), chunks of chicken, scallions and carrots too. The flavor combination well exceeded my expectations, so much so that I'd order this the next time I'm out this way. It did appear to be a special so hopefully it becomes more of a regular item on the menu! The bar itself was nicely decorated for the Halloween season but was a bright space with large garage doors and a long fireplace near the front of the room. Lots to look at with TV screens in every direction but also daily /monthly specials advertised on various screens. There seemed to be something for everyone here. Lots of fun and family friendly too. The Social Haus was a great experience overall and I hope to be back soon!

Service and food were excellent. Very tasty perch and cod dinners, potato pancakes very good but fries were not the best. Overall excellent! Would definately recommend. Out of five places I tried for fish in the Falls, Social Haus has the best.

We tried this place because they sponsor a sports radio show my husband listens to and we decided to check it out as we were passing through Staff was friendly, service was quick and food was hot and fresh! What more can you ask for!? I got a chicken Cali wrap with fries and loved it! My husband got a Philly- I was impressed with how fresh! Sorry, forgot to take pics! We were in the dining area and I counted 9 TVs. Impressive!

Love this place to get together and talk with my people! Great to watch games too. Everyone in my party loved their food. I wish I could say the same. The server asked how I like my meat and I told her no pink at all. I was so disappointed when I took my first bite. I know social haus would've been okay getting me different food if I said something but I was kinda reminded of why I avoid meat LOL anyways the fries were amazing! love the crunch. overall this place is great for ambiance and service! just wish they had a vegetarian or option like a wrap or burger.

Don't get Katie behind the bar. She is one of those people quick with a drink but full of herself and overcharges if she thinks she can away with it. Ur a bartender. Stop being arrogant.

This is a great place to go watch a Packer game! Lots of yummy food choices and a full liquor bar. We went on a Sunday afternoon; and believe it or not, it was full but not overcrowded. Most of the patrons were Packer fans and it was definitely a fun atmosphere. They give away shots whenever the Packers score, and they give raffle tickets out whenever you buy a drink; then draw prizes between quarters. We were a group of 4 and we ordered lots of food and drinks! I had the grilled cheese sandwich which was made with several different cheeses and bacon. It was gooey and delicious! The homemade chips were awesome as well! My husband had the curd burger and he said the same thing.....messy but very good. Our friends thought the wings were just ok; but the Philly cheesesteak was excellent. All portions were pretty big, and prices were reasonable. The servers were very attentive and came by often to see if we needed refills or anything....plus they brought by 4 rounds of free green shots. We also tried pull-tabs for the first time. (We are from Florida and I don't think we have them there.). Overall it's a fun place to go for a casual meal; especially if you're a Packer fan, or sports fan in general!

What a treat of a place! The staff was amazingly kind and welcoming for a team dinner on trivia night. Let me say, any kitchen staff who is kind enough to have burgers and chicken sandwiches cut in the back, without asking us was amazing. Our waitress was so kind knowing that our team had never been to this restaurant and the team would share some of the specials. Looking forward to coming back to visit!

The fish is so great, they have a great variety of options!! Also don't be afraid to make new friends and talk to those around you. This place landed me my new job after talking who was next to me!!! No more 5 hours traveling every other week. The staff are very kind and helpful.

Came again and tried a couple different things. Once again so glad we came. The fish tacos had good quality fish and the slaw on it was perfectly fresh without too much sauce on it. The Mac and cheese bites and green beans were both great! Fried to be crispy and possibly two different types of batters so they were at least a little different. Service was just as fast and friendly. If you come on a Friday they might have karaoke which was so fun to watch! Can't wait to come back!

Went with some friends for a Friday fish fry. My friend got there ahead of time so I don't really know how long she was waiting for a table for us. Drinks were good, decent amount of beer choices. I had the cod fry and thought it was great! Love how it came with carrots in addition to the regular fish fry sides(coleslaw and fries/potato pancakes). The place was busy but we never felt rushed, ended up staying a little longer for extra drinks and our server seemed fine with it.

Service was good we had an brandy old fashion and a bourbon manhattan to which I score 3/10 for both the chicken artichoke was tasty but the Ruben did not taste like any corn beef that I have ever had. No visits plant for the foreseeable future.

Nice atmosphere and good service. I like the chalkboard with a very wide variety of specials. You don't see Rumaki very often on a menu,but it was here(and very tasty) among other things as well.Good selection of burgers and a lot of other sandwich options and appetizers.I had the Cheddar Melt(their version of a patty melt),and it was cooked to order and came with homemade chips,cottage cheese or pasta salad.I opted for Onion Rings ($2 extra) and so worth it.They were some of the best I've had. You can also get fries for a $1 extra.Very clean ,but homey atmosphere and very busy as well(and I can see why).There is a nice and eclectic selection of beers as well as the usual favorites to choose from too.The prices are reasonable for the most part as well.All in all,a step above most pubs and very good quality on the food and attentive service. Seems like a great spot to grab a bite after work with friends .I am looking forward to the next visit. Definitely recommend them.

We grabbed takeout - easy to order, ready quickly, and everything was piping hot. The bar is always busy, and there is a friendly vibe. We had a cod fish fry, which comes with 3 big pieces of fish, tartar, steamed carrots, slaw, a slice of rye, and your choice potato, and the Cali chicken wrap with fries. Both had generous portions, and were very good. We'd definitely do that again - super easy way to grab a Friday fish fry!

Great food, fun atmosphere, wide variety of beverages and of course a great staff! Went for lunch and they had a nice variety of food on the menu.

The place is larger than what you think. Outside appearance is deceiving. Went during colder months so I'd like to go back when warmer and doors are open. Food was good. We didn't do much except appetizers so I can't comment on lunch/dinner items. Server was attentive and always checking on us. I wish we could have gotten a round of free drinks considering the amount of money our party of 6 spent on drinks and food. Servers/owners should always be cognizant of giving a little back when it comes to parties spending long periods of time and money at an establishment. Feeling that they recognize that is what brings me back. Not looking for free hand outs. Maybe I'm old school in that thinking but it's what I'm accustomed to.

Clearly a hot spot in Menomonee Falls, their fish fry didn't disappoint. It tasted "different", actually. It felt innovative. Moreover , they have more options for fish fry than the usual ones on at any restaurant on a Friday night. Our server was great. He was attentive and personable. It's a fun place, so it's loud and noisy...don't expect a romantic ambience. I'm looking forward to going back for trivia night!

Stopped here to meet friends for a drink. I liked the ambiance of the place, lots of tables and two separate bar areas. They have a nice fireplace and patio too! We tried a few appetizers: -Cheese curds, comes with ranch: the ranch is good! It didn't taste like it came from a bottle. The curds are interesting. They look like deep fried tofu cubes, and although they tasted good, I found most of it was breading. At first I thought it was a mix of white and yellow cheddar but the white was undercooked batter. I probably wouldn't order them again. -Fried Green Beans, comes with ranch: These were very good! The batter has a slight kick but not overly spicy. I recommend them and would order again. -Salsa and Chips: I only tried the chips which were good and tasted freshly made. A small portion of salsa is included. They have a good menu so I'll be back to try the fish fry and other items. Our server was friendly and the bathrooms were clean. Overall, a nice place to grab some food or drinks!

I came here for a work happy hour, and we were a large party, but they could accommodate us with no problem. We ordered a handful of apps and drinks, and all came out perfect and super quick. Everyone was so kind. My favorite apps we ordered were the Mac and cheese bites, the southwest chicken eggrolls, and the fried pickles. We also ordered the spinach, artichoke dip, and two different flatbreads. All were so good. I'm sure we ordered more, but everything disappeared in 2 seconds! It was that good. They also had some fun holiday drinks other people ordered but all were highly praised.

Over the weekend I met my friend and her husband here for lunch. The original place we had in mind didn't open till 3:00 so this was the back up plan. The bartender had his hands full with tending to the bar and putting in orders, so I went over to a second bar they had to order a drink which was not big deal. As soon as he was free again, he came by to place our order. I went with their Reuben without dressing with light kraut and house chips. We didn't have to wait long before our food arrived. I got French fries instead of chips as requested for, but it's all good. My sammy was served on grilled marble-rye bread, meat was tender and the light amount of kraut that was put on there was perfect! I would absolutely order another one again in the future or a burger.

I hadn't been to this place since they expanded and let me just say that expanding was a fantastic decision. There is so much more room! We got fish fry's and they were delicious. Also got some of the egg rolls as an appetizer. Our server was great. We did have to wait a bit for a table but it was a fish fry Friday so that was expected.

Good beer selection, not big ... but quality, ciders are lacking, no selection. Fall drink list is so creative, live the cider mule. I was with a group, great service... it was packed but service was SO GOOD AND SO EFFICIENT ! We got wings (perfect) Gouda Mac n cheese bites Yum! The cheese curds were so good. A cross between Brazilian bread and curds artichoke dip was good. Burgers were ok, I got the poutine and it was more of a sauce than a gravy, it was good but missing something.. idk.

The Social Haus is a nice bar I took my coworkers to for lunch. It's actually two different bars attached to each other with a small outdoor patio. The parking situation kinda sucks though because at peak times, people park on the road and driving out into a busy road is a dangerous situation. I chose Social Haus because of their cheese appetizers. When I go to Milwaukee for work, I am always on the hunt for anything cheese-related. Not only did they have cheese curds but they also had wonton-wrapped mozzarella sticks. We ordered those two appetizers but for my entree, I opted for a special of the day, a Chimichurri steak sandwich with homemade chips. I really didn't care for the wonton-wrapped mozzarella sticks. I'm not much of a "breading" person and wonton wrappers are too thick. The cheese was excellent though. It's just the wonton was too "bready". The curds on the other hand were better in the fact that they had barely any breading BUT, they were undercooked. Some of them were just soft yet not melted. As for my sandwich, it was meaty and hearty yet between fried curds, fried mozzarella sticks, fried chips, the buttered bun was too much. So I opted to eat the sandwich without the bun. Overall I did enjoy the restaurant. The food was good but not amazing. Still though, if I was in the area I'd definitely go back.

Really good food and drinks, and a great lounge area at each of the simulators, whether it's for kids or adults.

Food at this location was great and we sat at the bar. Service at the bar was great and we would recommend the Bloody Mary drink, Gouda bites appetizer. The parking lot was small, I was told it was slow while we were there parking may be difficult.

Our go to place! Service is always great and there are plenty of TVs to catch all sporting events. Bluegill fish fry is the best and their burgers are top notch! The atmosphere is wonderful and I love the space they've added on. If the parking lot is full there usually is only a short wait if any for a table. Don't get discouraged if the lot is full and cars are parked on the road, there still is likely a couple of bar stools or a short wait.

Great menu options and staff is super friendly! Very affordable drink options as well. The Asian Chicken wrap has the best Thai Chili dressing it hits with the spicy kick. Fries and Haus Chips super crunchy - great bar food and great atmosphere!

My favorite neighborhood bar. Tonight I tried the BBQ Pork flatbread... holy cow!! I mean holy pig.... so scrumptious and fulfilling! Paired with the perfectly mixed and muddled Brandy old fashioned sweet... Keep up the good work Social Haus!

I stopped into The Social Haus for a lunch time fish fry on a Friday off from work. I was disappointed that there were only three options for fish and that at least two of them were cod (the third just said "Cajun fish tacos"), but I was willing to give it a shot. My order consisted of the three piece beer battered cod with potato pancakes, an additional piece of cod, and mozzarella sticks as an appetizer. Had I known how large the mozzarella sticks were, I probably wouldn't have ordered the additional piece of cod. Wonton style, these mozzarella sticks were larger than others I've had of the same style. I didn't love that they seemed to be salted on the outside and the first stick I bit into was not completely melted inside, probably due to the thickness of the stick, but they had a nice crunch and excellent flavor. I'd absolutely get these again. The beer battered breading on the cod was light, flavorful, and crispy. I usually avoid cod because I find it to be bland, but theirs is one of the better ones due to the breading. The potato pancakes were pretty standard. I prefer ones that don't fall apart so easily, but they tasted fine. I didn't expect I would, but I really enjoyed the carrots that came with the fish. They were cooked perfectly and had a sweetness to them that contrasted the saltiness of the mozzarella sticks. It was hard to tell if any sort of social distancing was going on. Neither of the two staff members who served me at the bar were wearing masks and there wasn't space between bar stools, though not all of the stools were in use either. If that is a concern you have as the COVID-19 pandemic continues, I'd maybe wait to visit The Social Haus until the pandemic is more under control.

No waiting for tables. Good service, pleasant surroundings, good food, warm and tasty. Second visit and worth returning for a third.

their food is so delicious and the people are so nice and more than happy to get you anything you need and their fish fries of their fish fries are to die for awesome and not that bad price either

I don't get the hype of the place. Food was average burgers and pub grub. Beer selection was also average the craft being zombie dust and naked threesome. It was so loud I couldn't have a conversation though. Music was blaring so crowd was talking on top of that. Its small too so seating is limited. They did have Fun games like spin the wheel, squares etc and lots of tvs for games.

We stopped here for a fish fry. After reviewing the menu we also tried the clam chowder and spinach and artichoke dip. All of the food was good, but the service was great. All of the staff work really well together and check on random tables if they notice something is needed. We sat inside but the outdoor patio also looked really nice.

I've been to this establishment three times. The first two times were great; unfortunately, the third time wasn't the charm. I'm a vegetarian, and The Social Haus doesn't have much for non meat/chicken/fish eaters such as myself. They do have an absolutely delicious grilled cheese, but it comes with bacon. The owner and menu decision-makers, of course, are free to do as they please since it's their place, but it would be nice if the bacon were an add-on option, rather than something that comes with the price of the entree automatically. My first two servers happily accommodated my no bacon request and gave me a modest discount for removing the ingredient. Unfortunately, my server today was not accommodating, and the full cost of the sandwich was charged, though the bacon was left off to the side. I realize I'm not the target clientele of The Social Haus, but it would be nice if the owner would have just one little menu item for vegetarians such as myself. Not everyone out there eats meat, chicken and fish.

Ambiance, Vibes, Staff, Service all 10/10. Kelly J will be returning! Please support this place!

Fantastic fish fry Fish is great. Flaky fish. Yum. Lightly breaded. Carrots are awesome-must be the butter. French fries are good enough. Venue has a great feel. Busy but service is superb. Good atmosphere. Great vibe for WI sports.

Great place to have a beer or 12 and their food is great. Atmosphere is fun, yet not intimidating to newbies or families. Other pictures on Yelp do not do this place justice. Bartenders are attentive and fun.

I have been intrigued by The Social Haus since it opened. It always seems to have a crowd any time of day. It reminds me of the corner bars in every town but it isn't on a corner. It is tucked along the side of the road. Stop in next time you drive by and prepare for a solid experience. We started off with a couple beers. Although the on tap selection is not one where you have to read 10 pages of beers; the ones they offer, serve up something for everyone and hit the spot. I had the double bock in a full pint glass. I say no more. Yum. We then had the onion rings and pretzel battered cheese curds as an appetizer. Both were cooked perfectly. Onion rings were in a beer batter and came out light and crisps, not heavy and doughy. The BBQ sauce that came with, worked well. The pretzel batter on the curds was crisp. Served with a mustard sauce, it was like a crisp pretzel with cheese on the inside, instead of dough. Quite nice. I had the grilled artichoke sandwich. Only, vegetarian type sandwich on the menu. I wasn't quite sure what to expect. But, it was very tasty. Nice marinade on the artichoke, gave it a nice flavor. Served with thin cut fries, it was a good bar food meal. The others had a burger and wrap. Both were well prepared and had good flavor, according to them. Plates were clean at the end of the meal, so I say they enjoyed them. Over all, if your looking for a fun little bar to have good bar food, Social Haus won't let you down. Solid food, clean and up to date with good service. We will be back.

First and last time there. Went to watch the Badger game, and was treated rudely. Quite disappointed...

Stopped in at Social Haus today for lunch. Always great atmosphere, great food and great service. Love the recent expansions you made! Had the special for lunch which was the Spicy Garlic Wrap. This totally should be on your regular menu! Spicy garlic sauce was fantastic, not too spicy but just right. Bonus points if you were to offer it on a low carb tortilla but still would become a fave if offered on the regular menu. Says something because honestly there isn't anything on the menu that's not good.

I'll keep this review short. I've been a customer for a number of years and just had the fish fry today with potato pancakes. Hands-down, this is the best fish fry in southeastern Wisconsin and Ive had my fair share of them. Perfect batter on the fish, tasty potato pancakes, and the homemade tartar sauce is definitely special! highly recommended!!

#1 on yelp for dog friendly bar in Menomonee falls. We went there with our little pup and was told no dogs on the patio. NOT FRIENDLY to four legged companions. They also left us standing there for 12 minutes without being greeted. Only finally came to tell us to leave

Fun place with live music on Sunday. Indoor/outdoor seating. Great food. Some construction underway.
