This food was very, very, very good! I had the 2 meat and 2 sides. Ribs and Jerk chicken w/green beans and Mac and cheese! He had the pulled chicken sandwich and a side of Mac and cheese too! ALL OF IT WAS SO GOOOOOD!!! THE JERK CHICKEN STOLE THE SHOW!! If your ever in Elkins WV..please got to The Southern Kitchen!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The food was great, portions are very generous I'm a bigboy and had to get a togo box. Ill definitely be back to try more off the menu. Also really enjoyed talking to Rell.

I have been following them since they opened, but have not been able to try it since I live out of town. This place was worth the wait! The BEST collard greens I have EVER had. The jerk chicken was full of flavor, falling off the bone. The meatballs and mac n cheese were also delicious. Prices were a little high for the portions, but you can tell you’re paying for quality ingredients with great quality food. Owners were very nice and welcoming! I’ll be back!

The owners here are amazing! Our college organization held a women of color brunch in April that Southern Kitchen catered. We had plenty of fresh, hot, delicious food brought in, with the owners willing to go the extra mile to help out our community event. I highly recommend them to the Elkins/Beverly community!

My mom and I went to lunch today at The Southern Kitchen and boy, we are already planning a second trip! The restaurant was very clean and spacious, while still being warm and inviting. Our food was all served hot and fresh! Extremely delicious! And the cornbread is truly delightful! Please be sure to give this place your business!! You can also call in orders to-go to bring home a delicious meal.

We had some amazing food this weekend! We tried the jerk chicken(it was a little spicy for my wife, but she also has a very low spice tolerance), meatballs, meatloaf and all were delicious! We also had the mac & cheese and mashed potatoes that were both amazing. We will certainly be back.

Be aware of the unexpected reservation policy. Came here to dine in and was turned away at the door. It was 3:30 on a Friday---not busy, and not another customer in sight. Informed that reservations are mandatory, but that requirement is not even mentioned on the website or Google listing. Haven't tasted the food or sat in the dining room (and won't be anytime soon) so 3 neutral. Did not meet my expectations for how a restaurant would handle turning away a customer, so service 1.

To put it simply, The Southern Kitchen WV is one of the most amazing dining experiences I've ever had! The food, service and atmosphere far exceeded all expectations! You are treated like family from to moment you arrive and the food is absolutely to die for! A perfect 10! You've gained customers for life and we can't wait to introduce our family and friends to your incredible cuisine and welcoming establishment! Jody & Landon
