"The Spa at Spruce Peak at Stowe Mountain Resort offers a unique cryotherapy treatment with the Cryo T-Shock machine. This treatment, called the Après Ski T-Shock Pain Relief, focuses on sore muscles such as quads, hamstrings, or calves, and costs $110 for a 25-minute session. The spa also offers cryo-facials that reduce puffiness and smooth fine lines for $200."

Had an amazing experience at the spa. Incredibly thankful to Jason the massage therapist (deserves TEN stars!!) who was professional and talented. Been struggling with some sports injury back soreness for months and finally got pain relief! Entire experience was welcoming and well worth the price. We took advantage of all the spa amenities during our stay including outdoor hot tub and left thoroughly relaxed. Appreciated all the small touches from facial lotions and hair dryer at the end of our treatments to get freshened up to finish our stay. Highlight of our trip!

Had the pleasure of spending the day at this lovely place. Maria up front greeted us warmly and showed us around the beautiful amenities. Shirley gave a lovely massage. Jennifer was so sweet and provided truly the best facial I’ve ever received. You could tell how much she loves her craft! Every person we interacted with was inviting, professional, and kind. 10/10 spa experience.

This is an amazing spa within the Lodge at Spruce Peak. Mom has had a number of services done over the years and has purchased quite a bit of product and articles of clothing, all while leaving very happy every time. If you're staying at the hotel, this establishment is a must visit during your stay!

I wish I could give this place 6 stars. The location is of course Majestic. Feels like you're in the Swiss Alps. Beautiful entrance great service. This spot experience was outstanding. We got a couple's massage and it was like none I have had in a long time period appreciated the nice stone hot tub that was in our room for massage between our salt scrub and actual regular massage.Beautiful bathrooms with exclusive amenities. The outdoor pool itself could have been warmer. We ended up getting into the small hot tub to the side. It was a beautiful day to go because it was snowing. Enjoyed seeing all the families there didn't get to skate. Nice bar and restaurant. And it was a great touch to have the hot Cocoa bar in the main area. Would definitely return and can't wait to do so.

I was gifted a massage for my birthday. The spa experience was amazing, very relaxing and exactly what I was hoping for. When I checked in, they moved my locker so I was not crowded as during my tour she noticed one area had a couple of guest changing The steam room, sauna and soaking tub were very tranquil and a nice touch to the entire experience. My massage was good, I’ll probably try a facial next time to switch it up. I will be returning and highly recommend this as a gift to someone.

Such a beautiful, and relaxing spa. We had a wonderful, soothing experience here and would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a nice low key spa day. We started off our day in the indoor hot tub, then the outdoor pool and outdoor hot tub. The outdoor pools have the most beautiful views I have ever seen, such a magical experience!!!!! After this we went and got a few bites to eat at the Spa Sanctuary, then we went into the steam room, and the sauna. Once I got to experience all of the spa amenities it was time for my Swedish massage. The massage was one of the best massages I have ever had in my opinion!! Definitely check this place out if you are staying at spruce peak resort, or visiting Stowe!!!

Google
Waaaay overpriced massage ($250 for 50 minutes?!) and I would have expected at least the amenities and service to be stellar, but overall our expectations weren’t met. The spa has no signage around keeping the space quiet and peaceful, and apparently it’s not adults only, so there was a gaggle of teenage girls chatting loudly in the jacuzzi room. I had to ask them myself to quiet down because it was getting so annoying. The steam room was good but the sauna door is not adequate to provide a proper sauna experience (then you add teenagers opening and closing it too much). The massage itself was pretty nice, but then I was met with a huge hairball in the shower. ugh. We were in Vermont for vacation from California and expected a lot more (the massages at Esalen in Big Sur are $200 for example, and you get full access to natural hot springs). We left disappointed. Not worth it.

If you are looking for a something special to do with your special someone this is a great place! I booked a couples massage around 5pm and got to the mountain around 3...I enjoyed a cocktail while my special someone enjoyed the sauna and jacuzzi..then we split a sandwich and had our service. We spent 4 or 5 hours relaxing and then had dinner before heading home. I highly recommend the spa and the entire romantic adventure 😍 ✨️ 😌 ☺️ 💕 💖 😍

Yelp
I'll be honest, I'm a total spa snob. The Spa At Stowe Mountain Lodge might be the best I have ever experienced. Just walking through the door into the storefront where you check in for your treatment is cathartic on its own with soothing smells, good lighting, and kind smiles from welcoming staff. The [very clean] locker rooms are equipped with everything you'd expect from a quality spa (soft robes, great showers, top-notch toiletries, hairdryers, etc). The relaxation room is warm (in every sense of the word) and calming. There are lounge chairs covered in pillows right by a fireplace with a gorgeous view of Stowe Mountain. There are snacks, handbagged tea, and icy cold coconut water. It's a perfect place to start your unwinding journey. The water lounge is like it was taken out of a magazine, and if I hadn't already been signed up for a salt scrub, I would have spent much of my time in there. The steam room is dimly lit with the sounds of a rainstorm, the steam infused with eucalyptus. The sauna smells like a cherry wood forest and the natural warmth from the himalayan salts inside is grounding. My actual treatment was otherworldly, which is what my therapist told me it would be; she kept her word. I'm running out of words to describe it, but I will say that I felt like I had shed my skin like a snake and that both my skin and spirit were completely renewed. I cannot recommend this spa more. If you're in the area, don't miss it.

Yelp
So it took me a month to wrap my mind around writing this review. The people at the spa are extremely friendly and helpful with products and activities, they deserve a five.I took my daughter for her first message and spa experience since she's finally over 18 years old.The spa is spacious and pretty clean nothing breathtaking or spectacular.I usually don't say how much money I spend but I will in this, I spent over a thousand dollars. I was not offered water, tea,or coffee like other high end spa's offer actually almost every spa! On that note I'll finish this topic with saying I saw another customer given a glass of champagne, that would have been nice.My daughter enjoyed her swedish spa treatment. I had the longest message they offer the girl was extremely nice but I didn't enjoy her sticking her fingers in my ears or squeezing my lymph glands under my armpits! I actually told her how much it hurt and she did it again! To top this unusual treatment I have very curly hair and she kept going through my hair as If I had straight hair.If you have curly hair you know how painful this is.I ended up in pain for weeks from my underarms I had to go to the doctors twice! My word of advice is tell them straight out don't squeeze under your arm, don't stick fingers in your ears and just leave your hair and I would say scalp alone. I did enjoy the products I purchased.

Yelp
An experience like no other! And I've been to a number of spas throughout the USA and abroad, but none was like this experience! From start to finish, it was great!!!!! I had the hair and scalp massage, target massage and the Spruce Signature Spa Scrub. Carrie was my specialist for three out of four of the services and Leanne was my specialist for cupping. Wow!!!!! They were great. I was comfortable and relaxed, so much so I snored (lol). I took advantage of all the spa amenities which makes the cost worth it that much more. Lauren, Paxton, Kyle, Maryann and Jessica nailed the customer service. Paxton and Jessica helped me to get a pair of ski pants and though I have a fear of driving in the snow, they made sure I got the pants and it was not an issue for them at all. The people here make the experience what it is and I'm grateful for the genuine kindness and compassion from them all. Can't wait to visit again! Please check them out and enjoy!

Yelp
A group of us are heading down for my birthday and it seems ridiculous that there are no estheticians that work the weekend, so no facial treatments are available. We called a few weeks ahead and when speaking to a member of the spa staff there answer is don't shoot the messenger, very unprofessional.

Yelp
Absolutely beautiful spa! My massage was fantastic, and afterwards, I spent a couple of hours at the spa, just enjoying the lovely facilities. My favorite part of the experience was sitting in the outdoor hot tub while watching skiers on the nearby trails. I had lunch from the restaurant delivered to me in the spa lounge. Overall, it was an excellent experience! One word of caution - if you are not staying at Spruce, the small parking lot closest to the spa is very expensive if you are there for more than an hour. You might want to park somewhere else and take the shuttle or gondola.

Yelp
Spa: Massage: Masseuse was Carrie!!! I have been suffering with Neck and Back Spasm for the last week. Went to my Chiropractor and he made an adjustment that helped. It was not until I went to the Spa and was assigned Carrie. While speaking to Carrie, I found out that she has 10+ years of experience and it was on display today. We also had a great conversation about some off the areas she was focusing on with each stretch. And finally, the best part of my story, at the end of my massage Carrie massaged my shoulders and head. Next thing I know is that I was waking up after falling asleep. Thanks for the great experience Carrie.

Yelp
I really love coming to this spa. I've had massage, wax and nail treatments and I've also bought a pass to just use the water lounge area. It's very relaxing. The relaxation room has a beautiful view of the mountain and you can order food and cocktails. Each locker room has a jacuzzi, sauna, steam room and cold shower rinse. Tips: - Beth for a mani/pedi, Melanie for a massage. - Give yourself extra time to use the water lounge area if you have a service, and if you don't have a service you can buy a pass to use it - Also the nail salon has a new quick dry nail polish which really dried in minutes and lasted weeks. Give yourself extra time

Yelp
I just had a massage with Shirley at the spruce spa- it was absolutely mind blowing!!! I have had many massages and believe this was the BEST EVER!!! Great healer and divine technique --

Yelp
This is a wonderful spa!! I am 2 months postpartum and breastfeeding and they took great care to ensure I was comfortable. I had an amazing massage. I took the advice other some other reviewers and got there early to relax in the water area before my service. Definitely will visit again.

Yelp
5-Star! 5-Star! 5-Star! Here for my honeymoon and my honey released me to the spa for my "I Want it My Way" package of 3 treatments with 20% off each treatment (gladly gave that back for gratuities). I walked in to smiles and wonderful desk service. I had scheduled my treatments from the menu online, and my goodness, did they have a selection of fabulous ways to relax and unwind!! They recommended I start with a different service to enjoy my experience more and they were right. The locker room is very nice, stocked with amenities. The sauna/spa room is THE BEST! Eucalyptus steam room, a cedar sauna and a beautiful and wonderfully designed jacuzzi hot tub. The relaxation room is equipped with comfy chaise lounges, cozy blankets, a gorgeous fireplace and views of the gorgeous mountain ski slopes! Oh my gosh, what a treat!! *80-minute Swedish massage - Fabulous! *Invigorating Body Scrub, complete with Vichy shower! -The Best! *Harmony/Kundalini Massage - Had no idea what to expect. Let's just say she cleaned and scrubbed my feet and wouldn't let them touch the ground before I laid down on the table. Then I proceeded to feel almost out of my body I was so relaxed! Best night of sleep in awhile! *Waxing services - Excellent service Went back again on Saturday after a day of skiing and had another great Swedish massage. Love this place! A little pricey but there is a reason why, and it's worth every penny!!! Can't wait to come back and bring my girlfriends! Management, please look back to who all did my treatments as I was so tired and relaxed, I cannot remember all of my therapists names but they deserve a huge pat on the back (and one of your fabulous spa treatments)!!! Thank you! -Blakely Davis Kneisley

Yelp
I booked a 9am facial at the spa on 2/5. After being on the road for 1.5 hours, a drive that should've taken 10 minutes max, maybe 30 with traffic , the receptionist was extremely unhelpful when calling to advise traffic was only getting worst and our arrival time was increasing by the minute. When we finally arrived, the only parking lot given to us from the spa was completely filled (and overfilled at that) leaving us with no where to park. After calling the receptionist again, she informed us that we could park in the lot next to the recommended lot. That lot was closed to the general public, something an employee of the spa should know about their hotel grounds. After calling back a third time, she simply stated she had no advice for us on parking. At this point we were already cutting into our service time. With no help from the receptionist, we found an employee roaming the grounds and asked him for help. He stated that there was no where for us to park, but we could *TRY* to find a place across the street or down the road and take the gondola to the spa, which would take far more than the "arrive 15 minutes prior to your appt" recommendation. At that point, we were forced to leave the premise and skip our spa appts. When we called back a fourth and final time to explain the extreme circumstances, she receptionist was again unhelpful and happy to relay the message that we'd be getting charged 50% for the missed service. Surely they could have done a better job at preparing their customers, and certainly been better at customer service in one of the four calls, but it's clearly not their forte. Perhaps once you actually make it into the spa, you have a nice experience, but getting there is 3/4 of the battle. Would never recommend. If an establishment can't hire a decent receptionist, who do you think is standing behind her?

Yelp
This is by far the best massage I have ever had. I had the Manipura massage and it was UNBELIEVABLE. I felt completely rejuvenated after. I am counting down the days until we get to back there for vacation just so i can go back and get This massage again. Highly recommend this beautiful spa and this amazing massage!

Yelp
Kat gave me a great hair blow out during our week long stay and I was really happy with the outcome, especially considering the resort was so busy at the time and the spa was packed. It was lovely to sit and relax in the common area while waiting for my appointment to start. It was a treat to have my hair thoroughly washed and conditioned and not have to dry it myself. Kat was really friendly and did a terrific job!

Yelp
I had a prenatal massage with Gina in December and left the appointment feeling A-MAY-ZING. I was a little nervous going in, as this is my first pregnancy and I've never had a prenatal massage, but Gina made me feel so comfortable and gave me every opportunity to speak up if anything she did made me nervous. And honestly, pregnant or not, this is one of the best massages I've ever had.
