I've been here over a year ago when it was being renovated and decorated. At that time they had a camping trailer in the event area; set up with tables, chairs, and decor to be used as additional seating facing the stage. I recently attended "The Vagina Monologues" playing here a few days ago. There were parking valets helping visitors find parking. We were able to park just across the street in a private parking lot. It was not extremely well lit, but having attendants outside gave that extra sense of security for walking as well as car security. Inside there is a small reception area, box office, bar, restroom (unisex with washroom attendants) corner niche with a mini Grand piano and bookshelves. Inside the event area, there was adequate seating (small tables and chairs that can be reserved in the front, general floor seating, and elevated seating enclosed with a safety railing that is accessed by walking up a few stairs), light & sound works area, scaffolding above,
(holding all of the lighting and speakers) and stage. There is also a small backstage area (I knew one of the cast members and was allowed in to see it) with a restroom only for the actors. I love everything about the Space with the exception of the small reception area. There were over a hundred people in attendance and it was cramped. After the event, people packed the reception area and it was claustrophobic for me; a lot of people just stood around making it very difficult to get outside. It seemed like a fire code violation having so many people packed into such a small space. Because of this, I didn't care to even bother trying to get to the bar or mingle. We got out as soon as we could navigate to the door and left. Hopefully, another renovation could be done to provide a larger reception area in the front at the entrance..
