"Set over two floors in Bluewaters Island’s The Wharf mall, this British brasserie is the perfect neighbourhood spot for homesick expats. The menu is full of British classics ranging from beef Wellington to Scotch egg and burnt Cambridge cream, some with a Dubai twist like their Welsh rarebit topped with truffle, all carefully prepared and full of flavour. The restaurant’s upper floor offers a spacious setting with a large bar counter – be sure to try a signature cocktails such as ‘London Calling’ or ‘A Long Night in Soho’. On Sundays, their traditional roast lunches are great for a family outing." - Michelin Inspector
This is a great place to go. The food was excellent. The atmosphere superb. Staff were in the majority were good apart from the guy serving us. He was not attentive at all. Seemed like he was a trainee. Food took time to come out, drinks weren't refreshed. The manager soon became aware and from then on he attended us so it was much better. The food selection was good and very good quality. The whole afternoon we were serenaded by Kieran who was fantastic. Highly recommenwd this place for couples and families. Not you normal music pumping brunch but a great alternative for a pleasant afternoon. 5*

We came here for brunch to celebrate my husband’s birthday , a group of 10 , and it was amazing! The beef Wellington alone is worth coming for 😅. Plus delicious cocktails and veryyyyy fast service. Unfortunately, I don’t remember the name of our waiter, but he was great. We’ll definitely be coming back.

The food was great and very Michelin. Service was superb, staff were friendly and accommodating. Food arrived fast and presentation was amazing. Sangria was the best. They have nice drinks also, wine, tequila and the smashed apple was surprisingly good. The atmosphere was good, must have good lighting in taking photos.

The most amazing Sunday roast at The Spaniel. The food was amazing, couldn’t be faulted. Very generous portions. They had a live singer so the atmosphere was great.
Will 100% be back.

Absolutely love this place! A cozy and elegant English brasserie with great atmosphere and attentive service.
But the real highlight for me is the Sunday lamb roast – hands down one of the best I’ve had in Dubai.
Perfectly cooked, tender, flavorful, and served with all the traditional trimmings – it’s pure comfort food done right.
Highly recommend stopping by on a Sunday – you won’t regret it.

A Michelin Guide listed restaurant (not to be confused with stars awarded). The food was excellent and the service was good, but I gave 3 stars because of our server’s inability to understand what fresh juice meant. We got bottled juice poured in glasses and the server insisted it was freshly‘brought’ that day!!! They accept ESAAD with an amazing 20% discount, and they validate self parking tickets. Ensure you ask to be seated upstairs where the real vibes are.

We’ve tried to The Spainel’s Saturday Brunch. The brunch menu was hearty and filling.
Everything we ate was delicious. The cocktails were also great. If you’d like to try some flavors from British cuisine, I recommend here.
The atmosphere was pleasant and nice.
The service was good, and the staff were very attentive.
