Absolutely love this place! A cozy and elegant English brasserie with great atmosphere and attentive service. But the real highlight for me is the Sunday lamb roast – hands down one of the best I’ve had in Dubai. Perfectly cooked, tender, flavorful, and served with all the traditional trimmings – it’s pure comfort food done right. Highly recommend stopping by on a Sunday – you won’t regret it.

Can confidently say this was the best roast I’ve had in Dubai to date, and I’ve had my fair share of them. 10/10 roast. Great quality beef and comes with all the trimmings. One of those places where there’s 15 things on the menu you want to try. Great staff and ambiance too. Will definitely return.

We’ve tried to The Spainel’s Saturday Brunch. The brunch menu was hearty and filling. Everything we ate was delicious. The cocktails were also great. If you’d like to try some flavors from British cuisine, I recommend here. The atmosphere was pleasant and nice. The service was good, and the staff were very attentive.

Came here for a roast and we can confidently say it was one of the most delicious roasts we've ever had in Dubai. We started off with their complimentary potato bread with leek butter which was DIVINE. We both ordered the Lamb Shank for mains. The meat was cooked to perfection. Mint sauce was tangy. Gravy was in plentiful supply. Yorkshire pudding was crispy. Roast potatoes crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. All veg was well presented and tasty. Couldn't fault a single thing about the food. Except the price of the french fries... 40dhs. Service for food was very quick. The only slight fault we could point out was that our table had to be set up on arrival, even though we were actually late for our booking. We probably would've been tempted to order dessert however we were never offered a menu. I would say to maybe reconsider the music choices, we felt it was more night-club vibes than gastro-pub. Overall, very pleased with the roast and will definitely be recommending it to friends and returning again.

This restaurant is a true gem! The tomato soup was absolutely delicious, perfectly balanced in flavor, and beautifully presented. The desserts were exquisite, fresh, and simply melted in the mouth. Drinks were also top-notch, with rich flavors and great combinations. There are excellent vegetarian options, making it a great choice for everyone. The service was outstanding—attentive, friendly, and professional. We loved it so much that we came back again, and it was just as amazing. Highly recommend!

As an avid roast lunch fan, I would definitely say this is the best roast I have had in Dubai. I have been to a range of places yet I think The Spaniel ticks all the right boxes. The atmosphere is relaxed yet still classy with good music. The portion size is great and the prices reasonable too, considering the quality. The location is great at Bluewaters too and it is also kid friendly. Consider for your next weekend lunch!
