"Set over two floors in Bluewaters Island’s The Wharf mall, this British brasserie is the perfect neighbourhood spot for homesick expats. The menu is full of British classics ranging from beef Wellington to Scotch egg and burnt Cambridge cream, some with a Dubai twist like their Welsh rarebit topped with truffle, all carefully prepared and full of flavour. The restaurant’s upper floor offers a spacious setting with a large bar counter – be sure to try a signature cocktails such as ‘London Calling’ or ‘A Long Night in Soho’. On Sundays, their traditional roast lunches are great for a family outing." - Michelin Inspector

We visited for the business lunch — AED 110 for two courses and AED 140 for three courses — and it was absolutely worth it. For starters, we had the tomato soup and beef tartare, both delicious and full of flavor. For mains, we tried the cheeseburger, fish burger, and prawn masala; every dish was super tasty and came in generous portions. They also serve fresh potato bread at the table with a unique and delicious butter on the side — such a nice touch. Highly recommended! 🙌🍽️

Food was excellent! Service was even better, our server Josh ensured we had an amazing experience. The ambience and vibe was amazing as well. Visited for my mother’s birthday dinner and sure to come back to try more of the menu. Definitely a must visit spot if you’re in bluewaters and looking for a nice meal!

Lovely spot. The food was great, especially the wagyu tartare, which was a standout. The service really made the experience though, Moin was warm, attentive, and went the extra mile. He even surprised us with a cake to celebrate a birthday. Would happily come back.

Me and my friends had dinner last night and it was nothing short of amazing. The shrimp scampi was incredibly flavorful and the steak was tender and juicy. The cheesecake with warm chocolate poured over the top was the perfect sweet ending as its rich, balanced, and smooth! To die for! Beyond the food, it’s the people who truly define this place. Koko, Josh, and Amol offered exceptional service, and Jaylord impressed us with his genuine, attentive, and professional approach. You can feel how much pride and care the whole team puts into the experience. This restaurant ABSOLUTELY deserves its Michelin Guide recognition!! The culinary execution, attention to detail, and exceptional service set a standard that few restaurants reach. HIGHLY HIGHLY recommended! ❤️

Highlight: Wagyu Tartare appetizer. The Set lunch menu offers an appetizer and a main for 120 dirhams. The portion sizes are good and can match the value of what your paying for. The chicken leek pie with peas is tasty, but can get tiring, with the savouryness of baking soda. The Wagyu cheeseburger is juicy and mildly beefy. The Wagyu tartare is definitely the best thing here, with a decent portion of diced beef, topped with cheese, raw egg yolk, and other herbs. Tangy and addictive. The potato bread that the restaurant provides is super, light and fluffy with crispy crust. Might return for the tartare.

We visited the Spaniel last night for Wellington Wednesday. Absolutely loved it. The food, the staff, the atmosphere was fabulous. Was our first time visiting, can’t believe we haven’t been sooner. The beef was cooked to perfection along with the starters, prawn cocktail, wagyu beef and sides. One of the best wellingtons I’ve had. The deal was also so worth it 499aed for welling for two including bottle of wine and starters. The restaurant is very cosy and elegant and had beautiful Christmas decorations up. Our waiter Koko was so attentive, caring (as we have a 3 month old baby). He was spot on, service was wonderful. Will definitely be back to try the Sunday roast, Friday night steak and fries. Also, the main A la carte menu.

As a vegetarian Sunday roasts can be very hit and miss. But the option here was great! The only slight issue was service. The waiters forgot some of our requests, or took a little longer to action them. Beautiful decor and ambiance, food was really good, and desserts were great!
