Google
Great shopping spot for all kinds of Spanish imported food and wine! They also have coffee service and sandwiches available. They have a great selection of wines at very affordable price ranges. They also have cookware to make paellas and other delicious foods. If you are into foods, spices, and wines coming from the Iberian peninsula, this is the place to go to. Make sure to sign up to their mailing list for special events and discounts!

My friend took me for a nice walk and we stopped at The Spanish table for sandwiches - omg so good. The bread and ingredients so fresh and so good. The owner so nice even let us taste test some really good olive oil. We will be back.

Google
For a great selection of Spanish wines and Portuguese wines this the best place to visit. Various port wines fortified with a deep flavor rooted in history. It's a great place to explore these wines and grab a snack from their snack shop, bocadillos!!

Google
Amazing neighborhood store with a fantastic selection of Spanish and Portuguese products. Staff is really knowledgeable, and their coffee is on point, one of the best cappuccinos in town. Highly recommend the conservas, if you have never tried them before this is the perfect spot to pick up some smoked trout or mackerel. Also love the olives with lemon paste and the paprika chips 💯

Isaac Z.

Google
Terrible sandwich makers! Paid 25 dollars for two sandwiches, these were perhaps the most skimped sandwiches I’ve ever had, one had three pieces of arugula on it and 3 olives nothing else for 12 dollars. Do not go here expecting that they will give you what you pay for. The other sandwich was no better, they either need to lower their prices or retrain their employees on how to make sandwiches, to be damming the neighborhood like this is ridiculous.

Google
Loved this gem of a spot! For anyone who loves Spain, this is where you can get your fix. Amazing selections of wines, meats (jamón iberico anyone?!), cheeses, fresh baguettes, a variety of canned goods like Ortiz Bonita (tuna!) and anchovy stuffed olives... this place truly is a food lover’s paradise with authentic Spanish brands and a friendly staff to boot.

Mia W.

Google
So many great things to say about this place! Lovely service and true caring about the food that they serve. We had the Basque and pin & fig sandwiches which are $11 each and are amazing! He also got some amazing guidance on wine that we are really looking forward to enjoying and will update once we do.

Google
I loved browsing through all their goodies here. There are a ton of wines, cheeses, jams, spice blends, and other kitchen goodies. The spice blends come in smaller sizes for $1-$1.50 which I grabbed a couple to try them out.

Yelp
Nice little shop with plenty of imported goods and a very friendly lady behind the counter who makes some damn good coffee and a pretty tasty sandwich. Definitely worth a stop for a small sandwich with fresh ingredients!
google avatar

Yelp
It is refreshing to see a place in San Francisco where they sell goods from the country of Spain which is my heritage. This is a pleasant surprise to see this on Clement street. Inside there is lots of goods imported from Spain and the surrounding region. They have an inside bar ( expresso) with savory paninis and sandwiches .You will find lots of wines from different regions of Spain inside. There is also cookware and ingredients to make Paella. This is a good place in San Francisco to grab a taste of Spain. When they say pass the Cava it means pass the Champagne To better explain Cava is Champagne from the country of Spain

Yelp
Me encanta! I felt like it was someone's rustic home or pantry I just entered either in a cute small town or a quaint shop in Spain. I was instantly enchanted and whisked away to the Catalan countryside. PSA: they have the decadent nougats and lovely chocolates from Vicens! They also have small treats to treat yourself or the little ones! Chupa chups! Oh, how I would like to get everything there - the fideos for fideua, arros, wines, cheeses, iberico, ceramics, pans, Spanish sandwiches, drinks, spice mixes, etc - the essentials for cooking! It is also a classy establishment with a whole wall of wine next to which there were connoisseurs conversing on the nuances and subtleties of a particular selection.

Yelp
Always here on Sunday and service and drinks are perfect. Also a wonderful and lovely selection of wine, oil, and spices. Interior is a little small so it can get crowded but always wonderful to visit.

Yelp
I found some very good food items here I couldn't get from the supermarket. They have an excellent wine selection, deli meats and cheeses from Spain. The paella ingredients are all here, as well as all sizes of paella pans. The staff are very helpful and respectful. They also have very good coffee!
google avatar

Daw M.

Yelp
Note to self: I love the Dandelion semisweet hot chocolate here. Friendly and fast service Love all the little specialty items they have in the store Thank you!

Yelp
After returning from travels throughout Spain this spring, I've been missing the food, sights, and people and yearning to return. So, when I happened upon The Spanish Table and discovered their vast selection of tinned seafood, Spanish wines and cheeses, paella ingredients, spices, sweets, cookbooks, and cookware, it was a dream come true. The displays were so captivating, I spent a good hour in the store. I walked out ready to prepare some seafood tapas. Their prices are in line with and sometimes better than what I've seen online from other stores in the US and Canada. So, it's great to have such a good selection for those of us in the Bay Area. For those outside the Bay Area, you can order online.
google avatar

Angela D.

Yelp
I love this shop! It has great selection of Spanish wines, amazing products including a good selection of cheeses, olives and other tapas type foods. I also like their selection paella pans and terracotta pots. The staff is friendly a d very helpful.

Ben R.

Yelp
I visited this place last week and let me tell you. The staff is very pretentious. Be on the lookout if you're not Spanish or Mexican, they will look down on you and be extremely rude. Staff acted like I was foreign, I'm literally an American from LA. I will never set foot in this racist establishment ever again, I recommend everyone to stay far way unless you want to be racially profiled, coffee was 1/10.

Yelp
I came here in search of a very specific item, Spanish anchovy-stuffed olives. Great customer service! The shopkeeper greeted me warmly right right as I walked in the door, directed me to a selection of the exact thing I was looking for, and explained the different options and how they differed in texture and quality. Lovely shop! My family is military and we were stationed in Spain when I was a kid, we all love cooking and eating Spanish food. Lots of the ingredients are hard to track down though, so this place is an AMAZING find! I came near closing time so didn't browse much, but looking forward to a return visit to explore more treats

Yelp
I had a poor experience here initially with the quantity of food for the price point. But the owner and customer service reached quickly and helpfully and offered me a full refund. They were quick to respond and helpful.

Yelp
We love this store. Their paninis are so good and everyone is so very friendly. We definitely feel the love here. After many visits, we finally tried all of their paninis. All delicious and made with quality ingredients, and even though we like them all, our personal favorite is the Moroccan, a vegetarian panini with goat cheese. Yummm. I also love their espresso and tea drinks. Especially like the black tea with saffron. Goes amazing with some of the saltier paninis and ready made bocadillo (sandwich). This is also a store that specializes in food, wine, and cookware from Spain. You want chorizo? They have it. You want Jamon de Iberico, they sell it. Cheeses, yes! They also sell paella pans in various sizes, and ceramic bowls, plates, etc all made in Spain along with lots of other items like chocolates, candies, nuts, spices, etc.

Yelp
Great sandwiches. Great place if you want to learn more about sherry wine! Fantastic selection of international meats and goods.

Yelp
I came in here a few times and each time I am either not acknowledged or given weird glares as if I am not the type of customer they prefer either due to belong to a certain ethnicity or race or just my facial features. It's curious that they would set up shop in a neighborhood with a strong population of types they find so undesirable and inferior. Also I noticed that some locally sourced items are 4x more expensive than other markets and retailers. For instance the Mexican hot chocolate disk which is made in CA was 4x more than even what the manufacturer charges on their website. Caveat emptor.

Yelp
I was walking along Richmond and a block away from the muni stop, I wandered into this store- which was such a treat. I went with my Galician friend (aka friend from Spain) and we had such a wonderful time! This is the only place in the US that I've seen sell jamón ibérico, which was a welcome surprise! The product selection made my friend feel right at home- there was Galician wine and beer. I was also told that the snacks there were just like what my friend would eat growing up. I bought a Galician white wine from there as a gift, and the shop lady made it all wrapped up in a wine bag with red and yellow tissue paper and a red ribbon (to compliment the Spanish flag colors). I had such a wonderful time in this cute little shop and I will 100% be back the second I get a chance. This was such a welcome surprise!

Yelp
I came here early on Sunday. I was hoping to make a paella española for my family who got here this week. My family loved the ingredients and have taken some back to France. I am not only thankful for the ingredients but the service is of great quality. I was confused and asked for help; the worker was named Annie or Angie and she was truly a doll. Helped me and made a core memory that will last forever. The ambience inside of the store takes me back to my country. Will come back!

Jo K.

Yelp
Good place to find a selection of Spanish meats and cheeses. The customer service and shopping experience leaves a lot to be desired.

Yelp
The variety of products available in this store is astounding, from giant paella pans to hard to find canned delicacies to big coolers of Spanish cheeses and meats. We come here to buy the Jamon Serrano and the Chorizo Bilbao. Both very difficult items to find elsewhere. The manchego they carry is also wonderful. On this last trip we tried their canned delicacies, muscles and octopus, both were very good. Would also recommend checking out their clay pot selection- reasonably priced and very nice colors! During COVID they have a great system set up online for in store pickup, and it's a very efficient process to pick up once you get to the store. All employees I saw were wearing masks and there was enforcement for customers to wear masks as well. They also limited the number of people in the store and had an employee at the front monitoring this. Thank you to the owners and managers of this location for doing this!

Yelp
Great shop on Clement Street! I've been coming here for awhile because many of my friends love Spanish ingredients, and this place has it all. From exotic spices to sweet treats, you'll find what you need here if you're making a Spanish dish, especially if it's paella. They also serve coffee and sandwiches. I've been wanting to try the Pig & Fig for the longest time. I happen to be in the area Sunday morning and ordered it. Well, I'm a complete idiot because I had been staring at their menu and didn't see that they serve sandwiches until 11am. It was 9. One of the employees (I believe she's the owner, or at least manager), said it was fine and that the griddle was hot enough to make the sandwich. I'm so happy they accommodated my being dumb and made the sandwich.. and it was so yummy! It comes with Spanish ham, fig jam, manchego cheese, and greens, on a crusty toasted roll. All the ingredients come from their store. I asked to dine in because I wanted to eat before doing my other errands, and the woman making my sandwich wrapped it up to go. She felt bad because she even corrected herself when she asked me about it prior to paying. She offered to get me a plate, and I declined. They were already nice enough to make the sandwich for me. If you're thinking why wouldn't they make the sandwich anyway: I've been to places where they are absolutely strict on when they serve/don't serve certain items on the menu. At another cafe, I asked for a pizza, and the cashier snapped back saying they don't serve pizza until noon. It was 12:01pm. So she begrudgingly took my order. I need to come back here to try their coffee, and order the Pig & Fig again... and buy some Spanish ham.

Yelp
Contemplating making paella at home? If so, this place is a must, as it has the utensils, along with the rice, and even boxed Spanish broth you'll need for your paella. Now when I say utensils, I mean an enormous array of paella pans to select from. You can get a smaller everyday one which would easily feed a family of four, or a jumbo one that would probably feed 75 people, and every size in between. These ginormous ones are the ones I've seen at various farmer's markets that they use while cooking the paella in their booths to sell. I truly haven't seen a selection of paella pans as voluminous as this, anywhere outside of Spain! Prior to learning about this location in SF, I frequented their Mill Valley location. If you enjoy cooking, or just even watching tv shows about cooking, you'll find both locations fun stores to peruse in. Lots of canned and bottled foods from Spain, along with cookware and Spanish ceramics. Having been to both, I prefer this SF location, since it seems larger, but it has been quite a while since I've been to their Mill Valley store. In this SF location, there also a little cafe inside where you can get some Spanish foods. Not a huge selection, but sandwiches are available, along with a couple of high top tables. If you're culinarily Spanish obsessed, you'll definitely want to come here to fill of your obsession!

Cheryl L.

Yelp
It was exciting to see this store on Clement St. right here in SF. However, upon entering, the experience was one of just mediocrity. Yes. They had items from Spain both kitchen utensils and foodstuff. All with SF prices. However, the most glaring thing was that the customer service was lacking. In Spain, the people are welcoming including in the shops. Here the couple of young clerks were nonchalant and indifferent, kind of treated us like a bother instead of a benefit to their shop's existence.

Yelp
Cute, colorful shop with delicious paninis, espresso and treats from Spain and around the world. My favorite thing here though is the the STAFF, especially the Sunday crew! I work at the Clement Street farmers market and every week they are kind, generous and efficient. Thank you angels!!
google avatar

Yelp
Super cute shop I ran into while stoping in the neighborhood for boba. I was sooo happy I saw this place! I used to live in Spain and was excited to find a specialty shop. They had a variety of things from paella starter kits, candies, kitchen decor, a HUGE wine selection. I was so impressed. I would definitely recommend this shop to anyone looking for some authentic Spanish goods!!
google avatar

Kari E.

Yelp
They lured me in with a sidewalk sign about cheese. I was not disappointed. So many things! Olives with lemon paste, paella pans, spices (including saffron of course!), all the tinned seafood, cured meats, and most importantly, the cheeses! Walked away with a water buffalo cheese (the buffaletto), and a super yummy cheese that was a blend of three milks and pure deliciousness. I will definitely be back!
google avatar

Steve B.

Yelp
Staff is pretty clueless about the products in the store. Either they have never prepared the dishes themselves or haven't even tried the products. They seem friendly enough but I would expect people to have some experience with what they are selling. They also seem very social with each other and a little irritated when you ask them questions. It's like you are bothering somebody who is socializing instead of an eagerness to help you spend money on expensive grocery items. Mixed experience after this visit.
google avatar

Carla M.

Yelp
Love this store SO much! Great Spanish ingredients for paella, tapas, pinxtos, nice cheeses, nice cured meats, sardines, olives, wine, and more! Great little cafe as well!
google avatar

Marcia S.

Yelp
The environment and ambiance used to be warm and welcoming offering a neighborhood and friendly community vibe. You left feeling happy to support a local business. The new cold unwelcoming and rude staff killed the experience. I'll no longer be supporting this business, not worth it...So sad, and you would Think it would be different during these times
google avatar

Jake M.

Yelp
Love this place! Great coffee beans and to discover Spanish charcuterie items. Small qualm - I wish I could tip the staff. they are always helpful and go above and beyond!
google avatar

Greg R.

Yelp
This is one of the best wine selections I've seen in the Bay Area. The staff is knowledgeable and the prices are fair -- actually, comparable to the prices of the same bottles if you bought them in Spain. Nice selection of Spanish sundry foods. It's pretty expensive, but that's what their business is. Whatever you buy, whatever the price, It's cheaper than flying to Spain to get it.
google avatar

Lisa O.

Yelp
This is a wonderland for fans of Spanish and North African food. It's worth visiting for its collection of paella pans alone, but also to get inspiration and supplies to cook from this rich region of diverse cuisines. Every time I go, I pick up some staples (rice, olive oil, imported canned fish), but I end up getting something that broadens my repertoire of home cooking, like one of the house-made spice mixes to create a tagine, jamón ibérico as a splurge, an unusual rioja, or a beautiful cookbook. The staff can help you navigate, but you really can't go wrong with anything here.
google avatar

Joyce Z.

Yelp
We stumbled onto The Spanish Table because we were early for our reservation at Chapeau. With products from Spain and Portugal, you will find wines including Portugal Ports of up to $300 a bottle, meats, cheeses, alfajores, and ingredients to make paellas including a paella kit. Since we only had 10 minutes to browse before they closed, we did not have too much of a chance to buy but would love to come back to explore at a leisurely pace the next time I'm in the neighborhood.
google avatar

Gayle G.

Yelp
We went to this store pre COVID and got Iberico ham Which is difficult to find, gelled fruit from Spain. They a good assortment of wines, port, food items from Spain and Portugal, paella pans: huge ones as well as for home, sandwiches and coffee.

T M.

Yelp
Great sandwich- picked it up as the Farmers Market was closing. Got the fig and pig and we were not disappointed. The bread and ingredients all fresh. Welcoming atmosphere. Wish there was a place to eat outdoors with our pup but they have a table inside that looks inviting.
google avatar

Yelp
I loved my cortado from here, and I enjoyed looking at the selection of Spanish goods and foods. I remember the Spanish Table had a display of their goods at Macy's in San Francisco Union Square during a special Spanish themed flower display throughout the store some years back. But I have to say I'm not sure I'd come back here to this location based on the service. There is seating if you'd like to enjoy your coffee or food in the store, but it doesn't feel very hospitable or warm. No one was seated there, and I didn't want to stay and drink my cortado either. The two girls there were not very friendly, didn't seem open to answer questions or make any type of conversation. All they wanted to do was talk about a boba place they like down the street. I bought a few things, but just based on the service alone, I'm not sure I'd come back.

Yelp
Disclaimer: this review is only for the cappuccino and the store offerings This is a cute little shop on Clement (that seems relatively new?) with cute little offerings (mostly) from Spain. Lots of cheese, spices, wine, cured meats, oils, pallella pans of all sizes, vinegars, canned and jar goods. Some interesting chocolates/ sweets. I was surprised to see that everything was pretty fairly priced! The cappuccino is not on the menu but the barista was able to make one for us (mentioned hearing about it on yelp) and it was smooth, simple and delicious! A store worth visiting!

Yelp
A treasured specialty store for buying authentic Spanish food ingredients. The owners have lived in Spain for years and carefully select their products. I was delighted to find squid ink and authentic Spanish chorizo. Though prices are high there is no substitute for some of the ingredients that give Spanish food its own character.

Yelp
I'm lucky enough to travel to Barcelona many times over to visit one of my best friends, & am able to bring groceries home. But there are times when craving Spanish food won't wait several months until my next visit. I was happy to find this place on Yelp. They have a lot of different options that can't be found at many stores in the Bay Area. But because I travel often to Spain, and always bring some groceries home, I found this place to be exceptionally expensive. For example, a bar of Turrón was $6, while the same bar of candy is $2 in Barcelona. Of course shipping items will cost a bit more, but a 300% mark up was a bit much. (Yes, I was seriously craving Turrón & bought it anyway) A box of 6 Tolosa was $15. $15!! (Yep, I bought it too) I checked out buying a new paella pan, but Amazon has the same ones for less. So, if you're dying for something you miss & can't buy it for less, then go ahead and treat yourself! The store is clean, and the employees are friendly.

Yelp
============================ - Tetilla - the cheese - is unbearably an exquisite - !! - gastronomical orgasm. Period. thank you for shearing this hidden pearl with me. Dmitri

Nora M.

Yelp
the tuna here is so fire. also there are two baristas (i think their names are nina and gaby?) who are always sooo sweet, super knowledgable, and who also make some really great coffee. will def be shopping here again! hope they don't run out of tuna!!

Yelp
I lived in Spain several years. I love this country so much, so when I found this shop in my new neighborhood, I immediately wanted to check it out. I like the idea of the shop but their employees seem to have no connection at all in Spain. They are not knowledgeable about the products sold, and they seem bothered if you ask them questions. I would still keep it in mind for specialty products.
google avatar

Yelp
A nice friendly change of pace for multi-culturlal/ethnic San Francisco in the heavily Chinese Richmond District on Clement Street. A nice shopping spot to find Latin groceries, including cheeses, meats, snacks and regional ingredients. The ownership if friendly too!
google avatar

Tane B.

Yelp
The folks who work here are so sweet! They are so friendly, and always chat with me when I come in. Recently, I broke my arm and leg in a bicycle accident, and my husband came in to pick up our wine club wines. When they found out, they wrote me the sweetest card and gave us some little candies! Little things like that just make me appreciate having them in the neighborhood even more. Thank you guys!
google avatar

Clara M.

Yelp
This neighborhood joint has everything you could need. From cheese, to wine, to paella pans, and everything in between. It's a great spot to stop into on a Sunday when the farmer's market on clement is happening for a quick coffee or bacadillo if you're hungry. The staff is very friendly and if you are a Spanish speaker or working on your Spanish they are great to chat to. Check it out if you're in the Richmond!

Yelp
A little gem of a store on Clement St. Without question the best coffee and espresso in the entire area by leaps and bounds. When you feel like a quick "trip to the Mediterranean"; imported foods, cheeses, wines, charcuterie, and cooking-kitchenwares all with a Spanish flair-origin, this store will take you there. Go there and treat yourself to a café con leche, you won't regret it, and stick around to check out the rest. You might try and leave with a package of chorizo or pamplona.

Yelp
I purchased some Spanish chocolate here, since they are one of few Spanish supplies in the town. The cashier was talking to the other guy the whole time without acknowledging me waiting awhile for checkout. Not even greetings..even he finally noticed my presence, but still kept talking to other people instead of paying attention to the customer in front of him. He greeted the other customer behind me passionately, while treating me odd and cold, not even a thank you, is it because I m Asian or just buying some chocolate? Hmmm.. Anyway.. 1 star is for the customer service..:/

Yelp
Discriminatory "Customer" Service. Enter at your own risk if you appear to be of Indigenous Latin American ancestry and speak Spanish! My husband, who is a noted artist from Oaxaca and is a proud descendant of Mixtec indians, was in this store browsing, he eventually noticed two people were having wine at the counter. He approached the two individuals and asked if he could buy or taste the wine they were drinking because he was interested in buying some wine. He was told that only the owners could drink wine in the store, as it was illegal for customers to drink wine. My husband accepted their explanation and proceeded to buy a cup of coffee. A few minutes later, two customers walked into the store, they appeared caucasian, were enthusiastically greeted by the two "owners" at the counter and were quickly offered a taste of the wine they were drinking. My husband felt humiliated, the person who had originally told him it was illegal for customers to have wine looked at my husband and quickly looked away. So, good service is just for those who don't have indigenous features. Sad that a store that celebrates the culture of another country, that thrives in the inclusive, multicultural milieu of San Francisco can't or won't extend that same courtesy to ALL customers. Shame on the Spanish Table! Sobre aviso no hay engaño. Si usted tiene facciones indígenas de Latinoamérica, no espere ser tratado de una forma digna y equitativa en esta tienda. Discriminan contra gente de apariencia indígena.

Brandon S.

Yelp
Go for the wine and order a fresh bocadillo (sandwich) or go for the freshly made bocadillos and leave with some wine. Either way you're winning. Amazing shop, amazing staff, amazing selection of wine and ingredient

Yelp
Best coffee on Clement. Weirdly the best coffee on Clement street isn't brewed in a coffee shop. It's brewed in this lovely little specialty store, where the staff is friendly, there's no rush, no frills, just good coffee. I know this because my office is on Clement street and I've been looking for the best coffee trying out all the shops. The Spanish Table is without a doubt the best. Cumaica's is too bitter. Blue Danube's can be a bit watery. The Spanish Table is a specialty shop, mostly selling Spanish and Portuguese wine, meats, cheeses, and delicacies. So it isn't really a cafe or coffee shop per se, there's a couple of seats but I usually just take the coffee back to the office.

Yelp
Wandered into this charming little shop and ended up spending more time and money than expected! Great selection of wines and ports(!) and delicious sandwiches. Treat yourself!
