WOW!!! 🤯 This place is MAGICAL!!! Fresh homemade ice cream! Over 100 cereal flavors!!! THC infused ICE CREAM!! The nostalgia hit me when I walked in- talk about the 90s! The atmosphere is AMAZING!! This place just makes you want to chill with a friend and hang out all day! I can’t rave enough about this gem!!! Must try!!! Michael is SUPER nice and welcoming!! I felt like long lost family when we walked in.

This is one of those super cool and niche places you run into probably a few times in your life. The Spelled Milk is a sweets shop that specializes in all things cereal, and is headed by the nicest and most passionate owner ever. I came in here late night after a concert when my sister and I wanted something sweet. We could tell very quickly this was a once-in-a-blue-moon place. If you have a passion for cereal, THIS IS WHERE YOU NEED TO BE. They even had cereal imported from other countries! We were pretty stumped by the extremely large menu when we first saw it, but eventually settled on two milkshakes with cereal blended in. They were both AMAZING. The size of the menu may be daunting but we could tell just from the two milkshakes that we had that you won't be disappointed. There is definitely thought behind each flavor combination. The inside is just a cool place to hang out in general. There's a Super Nintendo, board games, and a bunch of mood lighting. Coming here with your friends will be an absolute blast I promise! Please come here and give this amazing shop your support. Places like these are the kind of unique options we need to keep in business, because you won't find them anywhere else.

Cute little shop! We love the inside and the service was impeccable! Kiana was so sweet and an absolute delight! She was attentive and helpful and knowledgeable about everything in her store. The atmosphere was soo inviting and you gravitate to every corner. My partner and I went for our anniversary and had a wonderful time. There was a Nintendo with games and lots of board games. They also had soo many cereal and snack choices! The coolest part is most of them are from different countries. We got to choose different types of cereal and multiple varieties all in one. Plus you can add fruit or ice cream to your bowls! They also have donuts and milkshakes!! The taste brought so much nostalgia. Will definitely be coming again!

They had cereal named after celebrities and some discontinued ones. There were nice some board game options to play while eating your bowl or drinking your shake. Can’t not mention the retro Mario game! The prices are perfect and not outrageous too. Nice little spot in my opinion.

This place was absolutely incredible!!! If you have a sweet tooth and are in dallas I cannot recommend this place enough. Michael has the sweetest soul & has created such a fun and eclectic environment, you could stay for hours and find something new and amazing each & every minute! The menu is just as wonderful!! There was not one thing we didn’t like, from the cinnamon toast crunch latte to the cornflake CORN ice cream?! So much fun, we cannot wait to go back! **Also kid friendly!!**

The Spelled Milk is not only unique, the owners/operators are some of the kindest people you will meet. My friends and I come in for game night every other week and they are always willing to accommodate. And, have you SEEN the Cereal/Ice cream/Shakes !!! Great selection of milkshakes! As soon as you walk in Michael, the owner, makes you feel like family. The customer service here is phenomenal. Michael is always working on his new craft to bring you new flavors that you would never think would work in ice cream, but they do. Next time you have a craving for a milkshake just know that there are 100's of varieties that will be sure to please your craving!

My husband and I went to visit for the first time on a busy Saturday night at 9pm as it was one of the only places still open late. To our surprise, we stumbled across a really cool fairly new place that had an array of desserts made from a hundred plus different kinds of cereals around the world. The owner, Michael, was such a delight! He took the time to go over the menu with us and explain his awesome display of cereals. He also treated us to some coffee, on the house, as we waited for our order. Although, we did not mind the wait as we understood it was only him and his assistant working that night. We decided to go with the chocolate Bundt, pieces of chocolate Bundt cake layered between homemade ice cream, your choice of flavor, and your choice of cereal topping. We also tired a combination of Captain Crunch and Cinnamon Toast Crunch milkshake. Both delicious and definitely hit that sweet tooth we were after. Flavors that were nostalgic to us with an elevated twist! We most certainly enjoyed ourselves with our tasty treats, fun card games, and Michael’s radiant personality. We found a new cool spot that my family and I will continue to visit!

What a neat concept! We loved our experience at Spelled Milk, including the vibes, decor, knick knacks available for purchase, service and of course - the dessert itself! There are a ton of flavors/options to choose from (everything looked amazing making our decision a bit difficult). We ended up going with one of the milkshakes - think cinnamon toast crunch milkshake, with some extra yummy goodness. You can also customize your own ice cream, cereal milk, ice cream sandwich, etc. Bonus points for having delicious vegan options!! There are games available to play while you hangout and enjoy your sweet treat. The owner of the shop is super friendly and ensured we had a great experience. We will definitely be back to try more!

This is a super cute ice cream shop. The owner is super friendly. They have an awesome selection if retro and international snacks/drinks. My only concern is that the menu is super long and a little bit confusing. I think a rotating and simplified menu would be helpful for customers as well as speed of service. I love the concept though! Love that they have a retro nintendo and a bunch of board games you can check out while waiting/eating your treats.

The vegan mint chocolate chip option with vegan cereal is yum. The cereal choices are infinite and the ambiance is fun with free Nintendo to play, little chachkies to buy and brightly lit up in door seating. Service is kind, patient and lets you try before you buy.

Food, service and ambiance was great. As a cereal lover this place was great, has a nostalgic feel to it.

Had an ice cream cone. The cone was so flavorful and crispy. The ice cream is absolutely delicious. Very unique flavors.

If you occasionally enjoy cereal, or icecream, step up your game and stop by The Spelled Milk. Honestly I expected to stop in and pick some mediocre novelty like fruity pebbles on a scoop of simple vanilla, like other cereal themed shops I've visited. Instead I had an infinitely better experience. My group talked to the owners about the months of work gone into crafting the crazy selection of cereal from all around the world. A few of them sound similar in the surface, but after sampling 5+ I knew we were in something different. If you haven't been here, stop by and thank me later. My group ended up ordering all different milkshakes and we loved all of them. If you're in doubt, the maple bacon shake is all you need. They opened back in December, and you can tell they they are going to be your new favorite dessert. Whether you pick something new or pick something safe, it doesn't matter cause you picked the right place.

This place is magical! So many flavors and cereals, games, Instagram-worthy backdrops. The whole place is everything you want in a dessert experience! Both kids and adults will love it! Michael is the nicest person you'll ever meet, and he takes great care of the shop and his customers. Even the bathroom is not only super cool on the outside hidden within cereal boxes but has amazing cereal walls- it's like stepping into a real cereal box (only very clean!). You MUST check it out. We're from out of town or else we'd go there weekly, we'll definitely be back every time we come back to Dallas!

Well well! This was the perfect little date, quick snack, nostalgic spot !! Let me start by saying you could never go wrong with some cereal !! But here you have 100 choices, not to mention they have their signature mixes !! Get this THEY MAKE THEIR OWN ICE CREAM !! And add it to cereal or for milkshakes !! Not only that but there is dairy variety ! Gluten sensitive, keto and all that jazz !! You can even get a protein shake !! Always the ambience as you can tell is awesome !! There's board games to play, the little nes to play ! And a bunch of snacks and goodies !! The service is amazing , they'll tell you all the choices and are super welcoming !! MUST MUST TRY !!

Spelled Milk has been on my "Must Try" list for a long time. Not a place I'd pick for myself, but a place I knew my kids would LOVE. What a great surprise. Thankfully on a Friday afternoon it wasn't too busy as we were able to park in one of two spots out front - I'm not sure where else you'd park if you don't get one of these two spots as I didn't really notice a lot or other parking around. It's a bit brighter and more cheerful inside than the outside appears, but the lighting still gives it an "after hours club" feel. Immediately the kids noticed the wall of cereal and were blown away these were just SOME of their choices. The woman working, maybe owner? was so kind and let them know they could try whatever they wanted. We limited our samples to two each and immediatly knew what we wanted. While you can also get ice cream, milkshakes, or get creative with a cereal + ice cream combo, we just stuck to plain ol' cereal with milk. Between the three of us we had (2) Lucky Charms S'mores and (1) Fruit Loops Marshmallows. Since we don't do any sugar cereal, EVER, this was a huge treat and a really fun experience to share with the kids. It was also nice to be able to try something fun and different that isn't your typical grocery store staple. We enjoyed it so much we took an order "to go" for them to surprise dad with later that night. If you enjoy cereal, are looking for someplace different to take your kiddos or friends, or are simply wanting to try someplace new and off the beaten path I'd definitely recommend Spelled Milk.

I saved this place as my last visit while in Dallas. So glad I did! The concept is great. If you're a millennial, you'll love it. Lol. It's very colorful and the menu is extensive. The owner of the place is extremely friendly and accommodating. I did something my parents would never let me do as a kid... mix my cereals! Decided to mix Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Frosted Flakes and Cookie Crisp! They have a ton of varieties of cereal and games (as well as a Nintendo) which you can play while there. Literally was transported to being a 4 year old again. lol. Lots of nostalgia. They also have ice cream with the cereals, donuts, and even alternative milk options. I was able to sample the ice cream which included Cinnamon Toast Crunch and it was perfect. The shop also has some novelty items. I ended getting some Japanese Cheetos and Doritos as well. Overall I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in Dallas!

We were looking for someplace with milkshakes and The Spelled Milk was the first result that popped up. The pictures from previous Customers made it look fun, so we decided to check it out. It did not disappoint! The moment we walked in, we were welcomed by Michael and his BFF (sorry! I didn't catch the name) who were running the store. They were both super helpful in explaining how things worked, recommendations, and were both so fun to talk to! Michael was extremely knowledgeable in all the cereals in his inventory and was generous with letting us sample whatever we wanted. With over 100 cereals to choose from, the choice was tough for sure, but we landed in the Maple Bacon, Choco Captain, Spelled Milk, and the Berry Milkshake (might have some of those names wrong). All the shakes were flavored and such a fun concoction. Highly recommend for anyone in the Dallas area to check these guys out. They are some of the nicest people you will ever meet and the cereals were delicious. Can't wait to go back!

I got to live out my childhood dreams and eat multiple cereals in one day. The owner was the sweetest!

Definitely a place to visit if you're in the Dallas area or visiting. Not only was everything we tried sooooo good but we got the opportunity to meet the owner Michael, and he was so kind. Will definitely visit again if we're ever in the dallas area. Bring a spelled milk to Chicago !

Overall this place is really cool and a unique experience. The space is fun and they even have a game console to play while you are there. Micheal was super helpful and friendly. They only opened a few weeks ago so they are still working some things out. They make a homemade vanilla, chocolate, & strawberry ice cream and they also do a homemade vanilla and chocolate soft serve. I ended up getting the Very Berry, technically a milkshake, but in ice cream form instead. It was yummy and hit that sweet tooth spot. Their menu is pretty vast so give this place a try.

My husband and I came here based on a recommendation when we were in the Davis Street Mercantile. This place wasn't on our radar to visit and I'm so glad we got to stop by. They had so many varieties of cereal and cereal related items. They also had ice cream and I was just sad I didn't have the stomach space for it at the time. The space and items were very unique and the employee was so sweet and helpful.

Great place to take the kids. Love the board games and the old school Atari. Not a huge ice cream fan but my daughter and nephews didn't complain. The staff is really nice and knowledgeable and also excited about their work, which made the experience that much more enjoyable. I tried a very tasty banana milk shake with mixed in along with some Captain Church cereal. Not bad at all.

Great people, very friendly staff, and the selection was intimidating and vast in its scope. This is going to be my new favorite spot. There all about samples and the milkshake I tried was the namesake "Spelled Milk" it was the best thing I've ever put in my face. 10/10 check this place out!

Kiana was so nice, she helped my husband and I with all our cereal needs. The place was so welcoming and had such great service and so many options. I love this place. So cute and 100s of different cereals! I'm not a cereal lover but they have shakes, you can pick one from the menu or choose your own. I went with KitKat and peanut butter lovers Reese's puff shake with vanilla ice cream! So good! Service was amazing and the owner was so sweet!

Ordered the Feeling Lucky milkshake. It taste just like lucky charms it was just the right amount of sweetness. Michael did great in greeting us and was extremely personable. We will be back! This place is very cool!!

Leaving a well earned review for this great shop. Came in for some ice cream but was happy to see the crazy amount of cereal and milkshake options available. Not only was the milkshakes great, the Ice cream used is home made! Michael provided a great service and was beyond kind and friendly along with Kiana. They both really made us feel welcomed. Lastly, the shop had a colorful ambiance with tons of goodies and childhood pleasant reminders will all the pop tarts, cereals, and international treats. Would come again!

Okay, I watched this place come to life and have been curious to try it out since they opened. Definitely a unique space, with an interesting premise, focusing on cereal, milk, and ice cream - literally over a hundred cereals to try. Now the bad part...this is definitely the meow wolf of the restaurant world and not in a good way. The whole experience was bizarre, from understanding what to order, how to order it, where it would come out, and how to pay. It was like someone had seen how a ice cream shop operates in a movie, but didn't understand how to execute the processes of taking an order, fulfilling the order, and ending the transaction. As I'm typing this, there is a line almost out the door with most people waiting more than 30 minutes just to place their order. I watched one woman wait at the counter for 30 minutes just to try and pay for her order. Multiple people have left, astonished about the wait. I feel bad for the kind woman trying to facilitate the madness, it's apparent she's overwhelmed and needs support. Cool/interesting concept...so far not well executed. Since it's close by and my daughter loves cereal and ice cream, I might give it another go down the road, but man, today was brutal.

This place is amazing! The service is wonderful, Michael was so friendly and informative about all the different cereals they offer. We had the dirty captain and the cookie crook milkshakes and they were incredible. We will definitely be back!

The cereal milkshakes are sooooo amazing! They offer as many samples as you want, and you can modify anything on the menu to your liking! They have card games and Nintendo games as well!! The whole place is a 10/10!! The server was so amazing as well!

The staff is super friendly, the shop has great cereal related merchandise including ornaments, socks and scrunchies, snacks, toys, and collectibles. Lots of art installations on the walls. Great murals done by the owner. The vibe is moody and fun and we will for sure be back to checkout new menu items and cereals. Worth the drive. Parking was easy. Really great shops on either side of the cereal bar. Great additional to a great neighborhood.

So if you love cereal this is the place to go. They have almost every board game or cards for you and your family to enjoy while waiting. It's super cute and affordable and the owner is so nice and helpful. Please be patient when coming in as the owner is the only one servicing you. My best friend enjoyed the Cinnamon Toast Crunch coffee. I had the fruity pebble donuts and they were so delicious .

Came here after a long day and it was a great pick me up. I had to wait a bit because they were helping other customers for a while but they were lovely when I finally did get helped. I ordered a fruity tooty shake with oat milk and absolutely loved it, I'm ready to go back for another shake and it's only been two days. I love that there were non dairy options and even healthy cereal options. The ambiance is very fun and entertaining. There was clear vision and commitment to the theme and I loved the insane amount of cereal and milk themed items for purchase and decor. Definitely a place I'll visit either by myself or with friends!

A cool place if you don't want to go out drinking and just chill! If the place is packed please be nice, the owner just opened up shop a couple months ago!

Why I enjoy The Spilled Milk. I finally have an option of a late night chill place that does not revolve around alcohol. I get a simple snack and coffee while enjoying board games with my girlfriend. Does get busy at times and waits are inevitable but worker/owner do their best to provide the best customer service.

This was your basic cereal place. It seemed cool from the inside. They sell unique international snacks, but a lot of them were expired. The customer service was super slow!!! It took about an hour to get our orders. It's also pretty pricey for the amount that you get. I wouldn't go back more than once.

Went with someone for a first date and it was fantastic! Really fun atmosphere, lots of sugary treats, and the owner is so welcoming and energetic! He gave us samples of any cereals we wanted and it all tasted great! We ordered cinnamon toast crunch iced coffee, too and it was perfect!

I walked in and was immediately grateful I woke up this morning. The owner micheal was the most enthusiastic, genuine person i've ever met, radiating peace and serenity into this world. Place is awesome, nostalgic and the little kid inside of you will thank you for coming. I had to stop myself from buying everything not just to eat but to have. When me my husband and daughter walked in the guy behind the counter was by himself and there were 6 ppl ahead of us still needing to order. I was stressed for him but he was amazing. Engaged with everyone and was knocking out orders left and right. His attitude and energy was amazing, even offered free coffee to everyone as we waited. We were playing jenga and he came by and offered us Oreo cookies to eat, he also gave my daughter a cute little car toy. Things done to help us wait that weren't necessary but greatly appreciated. Come support and try a unique dessert. You'll love it and so will your kids.
