"Three futuristic glass domes stand in South Lake Union: the crown jewels of the e-tail giant's $4 billion urban campus and a striking, sculptural tribute toSeattle's role as an innovation hub. The tallest shelters a river and waterfalls hovering over tropical gardens kept lush at 72°F (22°C) and 60 percent humidity—a microclimate like that inCosta Rica's Central Valley. Over 800 Amazonians can roam the interconnected botanical bubbles at once. Amazon opens the Spheres to the public two Saturdays a month by reservation (available online up to 30 days in advance). Fuel up on coffee and donuts at General Porpoise, a café captained by Renee Erickson, named the James Beard Best Chef Northwest of 2016."

The Amazon Spheres is such a beautiful, green experience. There are an abundant amount of beautiful plants for all plant/nature lovers to admire. Upon entry, we were provided with a visitor badge (which you need to provide identification for). Then, we were able to get badged in by my brother who is an employee of Amazon. The initial entry experience is a cute, mini waterfall, however, if you have a stroller or a wheel chair, this may be an experience you would have to bypass and take the elevators. Each level after the ground floor is filled with greenery (green plant walls, green plant paths, and glass like exhibits with more plants with insects and or frogs for you to spot). The last floor of the Amazon Spheres was closed off due to an Amazon event, so I wasn’t able to experience that, however, the beauty of the rest of the Spheres was nice to experience. As it pertains to parking, there is street parking and garage parking (which was free after 4pm).

Loved it. Just wish it was easier to go visit or book time to go and relax. It's a wonderful oasis in the city for plant lovers, and if you are a reader, it's got great little spots to read during your visit (you must provide your own book ;P )

By far, one of the coolest places I’ve ever seen the architecture and the structural engineering that went in to make these spheres was truly amazing. It’s an icon and landmark destination just to see what they did. It’s truly incredible. The bar down below is amazing as well and has a great atmosphere and the service is outstanding. You have to check this place out and if you can get reservations to the bar, definitely do so.

For a plant love this was pure heaven! I loved seeing all the plants from around the world. They all looked so healthy and beautiful. There were many floors to explore and everything was well labeled. I would love to go back again. Great educational outing or just something interesting to see when in the Seattle area.

The Spheres are amazing - the architecture, the design, the inner space that looks much larger than from outdoors and just the huge range of plants they have inside. Definitely add it to your must-go list when you’re visiting Seattle next time.

The Spheres are an absolute must-see in Seattle! The design is stunning, with unique plant species and tranquil seating areas that let you relax and soak it all in. It’s clear that every detail was thoughtfully crafted to create a space that’s both inspiring and peaceful. Perfect for a quick escape from the city or a unique place to work. Highly recommend visiting if you get the chance!

Looked promising. Did not have appointment to go in. Must book well in advance. But the outside was gorgeous with an event going on giving away free bananas and pumpkins. Washroom available in the basement of the spheres accessible at main intersection…think it was an art studio.

Beautiful architectural masterpiece. We weren’t able to go inside but it’s beautiful even from the outside. Great stop to have while we were walking back to our hotel
