Great bike bags of varying shapes, sizes, and colors. For unique applications, Ez works with you to build a custom bag to suit your needs. Super helpful and responsive!

These guys used their large bar roll as platform to custom build a slightly larger version and perfectly fit my camp stove and 2 gas cans on my bikepacking rig. I’ve done several overnight trips with it and love it!

Google
It’s always a pleasure to visit the guys here at the Spindle. They offer quality, US made products that last and last + they offer great conversations and, if you’re nice, big bear hugs and peace signs as you depart!

Love this shop! Plenty of options for all the storage solutions you can think of, as well as some niche parts & tires in stock that are super rad. Custom builds are also available! Ezz & Andy stand behind their work, and their work is fantastic!

Google
The Spindle is amazing. We're so lucky to have a custom bike bag store in the neighborhood! Ezz's work is very high quality. He recently repaired a couple bags I wrecked and they're better than new. Look forward to getting ready for a backpacking trip with their help!

Google
Top notch specialty shop. With a focus on backpacking, commuting, and alt-cycling, this shop stocks a variety of compelling products. They also offer collaborative custom bags for whichever bike you like to ride. They’ve even made a small bag for a pair of roller skates and unicycle touring set up. They can do it all. If your bag (uncommonly) fails, they back up their work & will offer you repair options. The crew is smart, and they care about you as a customer. For anyone in Georgia, getting bags here -or other interesting bike goods- I can’t think of a better shop. Five stars!

Yelp
The Spindle is a bike shop on one side and a cute little coffee shop/cafe on the other side. The "other side" is referred to as Spindle Kitchen. My partner and I checked them out one Saturday afternoon and we were definitely impressed. The location is in Old Fourth Ward on Auburn Ave, near Krog Market. There is a collection of studios, businesses, etc. called Studioplex, this is where Spindle Kitchen lives. You will enter through the bike shop, question why you don't ride your bike more, and then walk through to the cafe. Spindle Kitchen serves breakfast from 9-11 and lunch from 11-4. During this time, they have their own menu of available items, but they also host pop up dinners throughout the week and pop up brunches on Sunday. You can check their Instagram or website to see what it coming up. We decided to start with their menu to feel out what they are all about. Everything on their menu was vegan or vegetarian and they use locally sourced, organic ingredients when possible. I ordered the Rose Beet latte which was made with cashew milk. It was delicious. For my meal, I went with the Radish Toast. It was amazing. It had a walnut ricotta base and was piled with thinly sliced raw radishes and spring onions. So fresh and tasty. My partner went with a curry style soup. She is still talking about how great it was. It was served with Naan on the side. I will definitely be back to try the breakfast options!

Yelp
I first encountered The Spindle one night after-hours after finishing dinner with my wife right around the corner. We peered through the window and Ezz, the owner, actually opened up long enough to have a chat with us. I thought that was pretty cool. My next visit I was a bit more confused, shop in the front, cafe in the back. BUT, since then I have stopped by regularly as I get my haircut right around the corner. Got to say, Ezz is incredibly welcoming, accommodating, knowledgable and skilled. He runs a cool, unique little place with great food, personal service, and quality products, built to order if desired!

Yelp
Many reasons to love this place. Neatly tucked away right behind the eastern part of the Atlanta Beltline track right by Krog Street, The Spindle is partly coffee hang, partly lunch spot and partly an expert retailer for all your cool bicycle fashion and accessories. They like to do things custom and on demand here - from making your favorite brew to sowing a new tote bag right in the store. It can't get any better than this. The Spindle Is a really neat spot and quite frankly one of the best hidden coffee jaunts around in Atlanta.

Yelp
I could give them five stars off the customer service alone but this place is more then a bike shop, the magic happens in the back. When ever I dont feel like walking to the fancy restaurant I come over here and chop it up with owners. They are "cooler than the other side of the pillow." Now that's cool! (Shout out to Stuart Scott) No they don't have little elves working in the back but you may think so after a visit. This place has some of the best food from some of the best unknown chefs in the city. The menu changes from time to time with the change of chefs but when I tell you you're in for a treat... in the emotional words of the poet Black Rob.... "Whoa!" Keep in mind they service the bicycle community so they keep it healthy. The chef come up with some of the most unimaginable creative combinations of goodness that one could never conceive or for that matter think to even exist. Don't get all fancy throw on some jeans, bring your laptop and hang out in Lounge area for a while. Forget Starbucks work from here you won't regret it!

Yelp
Just bought a pair of pannier bags from this shop - high quality materials, stylish, super functional, as looked to be the case with the rest of the gear and accessories in the shop. Not the cheapest, but you pay for quality, and they come with a lifetime guarantee. I could have easily bought a few more things but alas, everything in moderation. The staff are super friendly and helpful, the space itself bright and welcoming. Awesome spot, definitely worth checking out.

Yelp
This is a well curated high end cycling apparel and basic gear shop. The store sells mostly men's apparel and shoes, but they also sell bags, hats, cycling gloves and socks, lights, and bike tubes that appeal to men and women alike. While The Spindle does have a small women's section, the shop owners are really friendly, sometimes mustachioed, gentlemen who will gladly place an order for anything your heart desires. On top of this, the shop owners can make custom bags too, big or small.

Yelp
Spindle is unique in Atlanta in that it offers the best of San Fran/NYC daily apparel for bike commuters. It's got a great vibe, a cross between a Chelsea arthouse and San Fran coffeeshop with cool folks. But best of all, it has the apparel that you seek. Located right off of the Path -- the pre-Beltline bike trail -- Spindle has an excellent array of urban bike gear. I bought, at their suggestion, a great pair of DZR shoes that have turned around my commuter and added a bit of fashion when I ride. They have pants, commuter bags, shirts, etc. all tested for the daily commute, or folks who ride. But the part that probably sets Spindle apart are the folks inside. Knowledgeable without being judging. Hip without being too cool. Great place to go for your bike gear that you don't have to change from when you go to work. (Looking like a cyclist really hasn't caught on.) These clothes will help you look like a normal human, yet have the same performance as the fancy kits the Tour guys were. Stop in.

Yelp
You know the kind of place where you want to go there just to hang out, even though it's not a bar or a coffee house? Yes, that's what you feel like when you go there. If you're into bikes and biking at all, this is the place to go for your gear. Sharif and his brother Ezz have really put thought into merchandising a great selection of products from a diverse group of top brands. Much of the clothing can double as workwear, and there's even a bag that can fit a whole business suit, in case you need to bike to a TED conference and give a talk. There's always people just hanging out at the store, and the atmosphere is really laid back. I got a set of bike themed coasters that looked really neat. They're concrete. Now that's a solid buy.

Yelp
There is no spot like it in Atlanta. Great gear,Fantastic people, and always treated with honesty and care. If you ride a bicycle no matter what kind the Spindle is worth a stop in.

Yelp
Awesome place for cyclists to hang, great food and really nice gear for biking.

Yelp
I live in NYC and this store reminds me of a bike store that you would see here. The apparel is for hardcore bikers, built to last. The owner is super friendly. Def worth a stop if you on the market for some biking shorts or messenger bag. Easy parking right off John Wesley Dobbs

Bob C.

Yelp
Excellent service. Attention to details creating custom designed bags for your bike. Worth visiting and supporting!
