The Spirits' Speakeasy

This was such an incredible experience! If you’re into spooky events, this speakeasy is a must-visit. Each part of the venue has something unique happening, so every time you come back, it feels like a completely different seance.

It was a very enjoyable experience, although somewhat limiting for my friend Pete, who is in a wheelchair. Because of the logistics, it was too difficult for us to move from the back room to the middle room where the seances were held, due to the movement of so many other folks. That being said, the performers were very gracious to us and kudos to Krystyn Lambert for being so perceptive and insightful!

Otherworldly fun, a trip back in time. A very different immersive story experience, perfect for the haunted holidays. It's a bit tough to catch all the action, happening in several rooms but, there are engaging magicians performing where ever you are. The time flew buy.

The Spirit Speakeasy was Magical. From the moment we walked in the door we were transported into another time. The show is engaging and intimate with a small group so everyone gets a front seat to the show as they move through the rooms. We truly had a good time and I Highly recommend. A definite must see.

This show is so fun! I love how there is something different going on in each room. No matter where you are in the space you are experiencing something magical. If you're in the NYC area, I highly recommend checking this show out while it lasts!

This was such a wonderful experience! All the magic and illusions were so cool, and the actors were incredible. Krystyn (the actress playing Margery) was especially dazzling!! Really recommend!

Amazing! It's begins real campy, but they are the real deal. Especially "Margery" who is a medium and one of the main characters. She's real. Really cool evening out in the city.

Absolutely amazing! Fantastic experience. The best part is how interactive the cast is with the audience.

Magicians were great! The décor was very nice. Seats comfortable. The drinks were WAY TOO expensive and watery - $23. A ton of ice and flavor was- meh. We would drop the play and have the woman who met you at the door MC the evening. Saw 3 magicians at Great Jones +2 drinks for $100. See the magic and have water.

If you're looking to attend the perfect event to kick off Halloween season, this is the one. Spirits Speakeasy transports you back into the world of Houdini. Once entering the speakeasy, you'll be greeted by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. After you are taken to your seats, you have the chance to hit up the bars to order specialty drinks before the three seances begin. Magicians walk through the crowd and will enchant you with their magic. But the best part for me was the Mentalist who literally read my mind. Highly recommend attending this with a group of friends. Like Sleep No More, we all chose the things that most excited us and walked away each having a different (good!) experience!

super lame storyline. Rude female bartenders. Horrible female singer (sounds like a dying cow... with loud cheap speakers). Don't bother paying extra for a seat -- they're so unorganized and they shuffle you back and forth other people will end up at your table or seat anyway and you'll be standing the majority of the time anyway. Advice to owner: it would've been WAY better if it was NO SINGING, the "medium" and magicians just did table side individual tricks.
